Merveilleuse visite d’une usine d’un autre temps qui permet à la jeune équipe qui a repris l’activité de présenter des modèles d’une grande créativité et modernité tout en s’inspirant du patrimoine local. Prix très intéressant pour des produits d’une grande qualité et au design contemporain qui s’exportent dans une cinquantaine de pays et équipent de nombreux hôtel 5 étoiles et sièges sociaux. Visitar a Burel Factory foi uma experiência fantástica. Como se inova nas cores do burel ver a fábrica a trabalhar com algumas máquinas. Umas com 100 anos outras muito recentes. Padrões lindos ainda os mesmos que a anterior fábrica executava.

Local muito bom para visitar. A história pôr de trás da reactivação do burel é muito interessante! Ainda bem que há quem tenha acreditado que podia recuperar um tecido tão nosso e dar-lhe uma nova vida. Parabéns pelo todo esforço e empenho.

Absolutely loved this place. Unlike America, you can freely roam a lot of this factory and get up close to the machines. The guide was very informative and helpful in answering questions. This art is worth seeing in person and brining home with you in the form of one of their many products.

Very beautiful and traditional Burel (wool undergoing through a special process that confers further resistance and some degree of water tightness) factory. You are guided through all stages of the factory and in the end you can buy some of the beautiful final products. The colors and textures are very nice and it will do wonders on any house decor. If you come to Serra da Estrela, don't miss this place!

Very nice wool factory, combining vintage, fully functioning, machines, with more modern industrial processes. Visits are at 11am and are totally worth it. They show you the whole process from raw wool to final product, including a detailed explanation of the functioning of machinery in the factory. Also a good chance to buy premium wool items at an affordable cost at their small shop.
