I have been to many different surf houses and Watermark is by far the best place. The owners, Ricardo and Rui, are very much welcoming, they take care of their guests, always give a hand when support is needed. The house in Espinho is perfectly located next to the beach and best restaurants. Clean and comfortable stay, and they can offer great surf lessons if needed, but they also join surf at other spots with more advanced/intermediate surfers. I feel like at home at watermark.

Positive: We had a great time at Watersurf. The staff members were very helpful and easy to communicate with, our room was clean and cosy (don't hesitate to book the big room with a private bathroom, it's a win!), and the hostel is located in a beautiful spot right near the ocean. It's also very close to Espihno train station where suburban trains to Porto city center run every half an hour for a ticket cost of ~€2.. Negative: Since we were travelling for the Primavera Nos festival and were getting up late we didn't get the chance to try the included breakfast (8:30-10:30am). However, there's a great branch spot called Pão de Dó 5 minutes away from the hostel that serves amazing breakfasts for ~€5-10 all day long..

Kladný: Snídaně dostačující, přiměřená ceně, prostředí jídelny i celého hostelu útulné, členité, víceúrovňové. Přímo v hostelu k dispozici kuchyňka kompletně vybavená, ledníčka, mikrovlnka, kávovar. Přímo na hostelu možnost zapůjčení surfů, je k dispozici i instruktor. Venkovní sezení, uvnitř místnost s krbem, televizí, všude signál Wi-Fi. K moři kousíček a do centra min.. Záporný: VŠE ABSOLUTNĚ PERFEKTNÍ!.

Positiva: La ubicación y el buen rollo en la casa fue genial. Ricardo es encantador y nos recomendó unos sitios excelentes. Negativa: El desayuno sí que podría ser un poco más variado..

Positive: Watermark Surf House - Espinho is great. I highly recommend it. Very well located: it is near to the beach and the sea for surf, you can catch a train close to the house there is the station to go and explore Porto / V. N. de Gaia..

The owners are so welcoming and do everything to make your stay as good as it can be. The house makes you feel like home and is placed next to the beach. The surfteacher was exeptionell as well. I'll definitely come back.

Positiva: La cercanía a la playa. Negativa: El desayuno normalito. Solo jabón de mano como todo complemento para el aseo.

Positive: ...best companion, more than just a place to stay, its a place to really feel comfortable..very cosy, clean, nice, safe, easy going.... and at least- a very lovely crew!. Negative: ...my surf skills ; ))).

Positiva: Buscábamos una habitación familiar y encontramos además unas estupendas clases de surf!! 100% recomendable . Repetiremos seguro.

Positive: Watermark Surfhouse is an excellent and wallet-friendly choice not only for surfers. The breakfasts are simple but good, the location near the beach is perfect, staff is friendly and easy to communicate with and everything is well maintained and clean. Looking forward to returning someday!.

We had a nice week in the surf house. Not just the house but also the team of owners and surf teachers is incredible nice! So friendly people and the place is not too overcrowded. I would definitely come back again! Thank you guys!

(Español a continuación) Just back with my 10-yr old son from a really awesome, enjoyable and funny week at Watermark Surf House in Espinho where we both experienced a beginners training with Fred which is the best, energized and funny surf teacher in the area and who took a closer father's care of my son during the classes. The house is very well located about 20 meters (65ft.) from the beach, close to Espinho's Casino and have all the equipment required for your training either included in the rate or which can be separately rented. The house in Esmoriz is very cozy and also at a few meters from the beach with a lovely terrace, very recommended if you look for a more quiet stay. An early booking is highly recommended as it's full of people on high-season, friends coming from different countries all over Europe (a great way to practise your english!) The co-owner Rui will take a close care of all your lodging needs, quickly solving any request or issue you may have during your stay. Besides of Portuguese, they speaks fluent English and Spanish and a bit of other languages. Both my son and myself are looking for the next opportunity to join again that great team! _____________________ Acabo de regresar con mi hijo de 10 años de una muy impresionante, agradable y divertida semana en la casa que Watermark Surf House tiene en Espinho donde ambos disfrutamos de un curso para principiantes con Fred, que es el mejor, más enérgico y divertido profesor de surf en la zona y que cuidó de mi hijo como si fuera su propio padre durante las clases. La casa está muy bien situada a unos 20 metros de la playa (65 pies), al lado del Casino de Espinho y cuenta con toda la equipación necesaria para disfrutar del surf, ya sea incluido en el precio o a través de opciones de alquiler. La casa en Esmoriz a pocos kilómetros y que también visitamos, es muy acogedora y también a pocos metros de la playa contando además con una encantadora terraza, esta casa es muy recomendable si buscas una estancia más tranquila. Una reserva temprana es muy recomendable ya que está lleno en temporada alta con amigos procedentes de diferentes países de toda Europa (¡una excelente manera de practicar inglés!) El copropietario Rui se encargará de todas tus necesidades de alojamiento, en contínua comunicación y resolviendo rápidamente cualquier solicitud o problema que pudiera surgir durante tu estancia. Además de portugués, hablan inglés y español con fluidez y un poco de otros idiomas. ¡Tanto mi hijo como yo estamos deseando encontrar una nueva oportunidad para unirnos a ese gran equipo!

C'est un lieu super à 2 secondes de l'océan. Les hôtes sont vraiment au top, dans l'esprit surf et relax! Un lieu propre et convivial!
