Agressive old lady with enormous bias towards Portuguese people, if you are Portuguese please be aware of her bad manners!!! I’m insulted to meet these type of people on Portuguese soil.

Although Goldra is a dog sanctuary I feel that it also offers sanctuary to those in need of doggie kisses and a brief escape from the real world.. Walking the dogs benefits those on both ends of the lead.. Great views, fresh air and exercise.. A perfect way to make man/woman and dog so happy..

Helped here for a week, Jan and her team are passionate about the dogs, runs are kept spotless and they are all well looked after !

I got my dog, Heinz, through them. A woman found him and was seeking a shelter to hold him until she could help find an appropriate home, and out of the 13 shelters contacted, New Goldra was the only one who said they'd take him.Since then, I'd like to say everyday has been an adventure and they are truly a wonderful organization.
