This is a very awesome, neat bar with exelexcel service. I love the decor and the vibe. I'm from South Africa and I saw a iris band playing there for the first time in my life, they where awesome and I will cherish this for life.

What a lovely restaurant. We had our anniversary dinner in this restaurant. Everything was exquisite. It was tricky to book online, as it said there were no tables available, but when we rang they assured us it was no problem and there were plenty of seats. The rosé sangria was delicious, as was every other aspect of our dinner.

Great atmosphere for watching sports or just having a relaxing outdoor drink, with excellent service. Best Guinness on tap in the Quinta do Lago area.

Busy and very British/Irish pub, lovely dog teamed decorations, great for groups and with outdoor seating. Very friendly and fast service. Bug beer and wine selection. Delicious salmon salad and tiramisu. Mostly meat oriented dishes

Fantastic gastro pub. Ate here twice during short break and happy to give 5*. It is in a fantastic location, the food was superb and decent value (the super food salad and homemade ice cream in particular), the staff are very friendly and informative. Next time i'm in the area, and there definitely will be a next time, i'll be a regular at the cheeky pup.

this restaurant /pub used to be known as De Barra.it is a good place to relax small problem with the Flies had to go inside to finish the meal!

Very nicely interior fit out, cosy and welcoming with a very good chef in the kitchen. The staff could not have been nicer, and note the manager was particularly good and attentive to make sure everyone had a good experience

Very nice restaurant. Good service, I had the 24Oz cote de boef which was to die for one of the best steaks I have ever had. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who loves there meat. Love this place and will be back.

Great looking place with above standard service but I was left wanting after the meal. As soon as we ordered the food was on our table. And and once we had finished we were asked if we were ready for mains. Had to say yes so it was sat there and sure enough it was with us within a minute or two. I wasn’t blown away by the food, was ok. Would recommend for drinks.

Didn't live up to the hype of other reviews. The hot wings weren't very hot and the beer was a bit flat for my liking. The wife's burger was overcooked. Good atmosphere and friendly staff the food just missed the mark.

Recently while in Portugal we went there with Friends for Lunch. Beautiful surroundings and lovely Decor. The Menue was extensive. The Service and Food FIRST CLASS. I will be back again in the New Year. Enjoy.

Great Guinesss, but not cheap at €5.50 a pint, especially as I had several. Food tonight was first class, for me it was grilled turbot which was beautiful. Truly excellent service, friendly and fast. Highly recommended with a UK pub atmosphere. Keepy up, Cheeky Pup!

A light meal for two, consisting of a chicken salad (very well garnished) and a fish soup, together with drinks and dessert, is around €35. Taking into consideration that the food is quite good and that the nearby hotel's restaurants can easily go beyond €50 per person, I highly recommend this place. Have visited here quite a few times. Everytime I have had a great experience. First time I visited last year we decided to get our evening meal. Both myself and my friend ordered fillet steaks rare. They were cooked to perfection and melted in our mouths so to speak. Having worked within the industry for most of my life and worked in renowned steak restaurants for the past ten years i definitely know a good steak when you get one. Staff are lovely and friendly and very professional even under pressure. The owner is seen to be making his rounds during most evenings and is also not shy to jump behind the ramp and give the team a helping hand. Great place great people I would definitely recommend and will sure to be revisiting next year.

The Cheeky Pup is a great reliable place to go for a decent meal. Always come here on my visit to the Algarve. Both the lunch and dinner menus have a great selection. The kids menu is very much kid approved, especially the fish and chips which can in other places be very greasy but this is cooked perfectly. The service is excellent and the staff are very friendly. You'll always get a good meal here (hear the drinks are good too, but we only ever come for the food). The choice of seating from outside to inside is very comfortable. Would highly recommend coming here.

Nice pub-restaurant, good selection of very reasonably priced meals. Waiting staff were very knowledgable about food options and service was quick. No complaints, Chicken Piri-Piri was delicious.

Beautiful Bar in a stunning part of the world, just close enough (and far away from) the busy Vale De Lobo area. Great food all day, great live music at night and excellent service which can be very hard to come by in the Algarve.

Great bar in Quinta do Lago. Refurbished last year and they have made a really good job. Service is excellent and both food and drinks are reasonably priced. Recommended

Nice revamp of older location, food OK. We did find our food a bit soaked too much in oil. The cheese board was excellent. Popular & may need to book in main tourist season.

Good atmosphere, clean and tidy. Good efficient and friendly staff. Fish of the day was cooked perfectly, prepared "en papillotte" with delicious things in there not even sure what they were, but there was definitely butter! ;)

Quick, fast service with a modern pup vibe. Food was all outstanding at great prices. Large cocktail, wine, beer and spirits menu... will most likely go back again tomorrow night for dinner.

Absolutely brilliant night! I had an amazing lunch there earlier in the week so my group came back for dinner, drinks, and dancing. It was wild! The food was great- I had perfectly cooked tuna steak. The cocktails were whopper and the service was spot on. Then the band started and the whole place started swinging! The Cheeky Pup is definitely a new tradition and I can't wait to come back in June!
