I really rate this place , the lady owner is very friendly and welcoming, told us about her story of the restaurant, I had pie and mash was tasty i fancy a little bit of English food , the breakfast is tasty too I defo feel they might import there bacon and sausage from English, for a English family and you fancy a little bit of taste of home defo hit this place up

We visited here for our last night in the area. Stunning food, great service and a family run business. The owners took the time to speak to our table and share the history of the area. Being a family run business myself this makes all the difference. Amazing.

Lovely homemade English food, lovely English guy served us, nothing too much trouble, very reasonable prices with good portion size. Super bock on tap.

My wife and I, along with a few friends, are regular visitors to this establishment. We just love both the very wide selection of snacks, drinks and meals on offer as well as the friendly service provided by the English proprietors. My advice to anyone dropping in for a nice lunch is give the Chilli a try. It is nicely spiced, but not too fiery, and can be served with either rice or chips, or indeed both. Cannot rate this place highly enough in terms of location and all round customer satisfaction.

Absolutely amazing food very welcoming friendly hosts cannot do enough for you. Excellent value for money much worth a visit

A friendly pub very close to Praia dos Olhos de Agua set on the square. It is not enormous, but there is plenty of seating outside in what is a pretty perfect location. A small selection of Portugese and British beer, the menu is also mixed, and the food very good. It seems popular and the staff are very friendly and time permitting, happy to have a chat! Very quick service. Definitely worth a visit, whether taking a break from the beech at lunchtime, or if wandering through the town.

Best bar in Olhos de água. Not to be missed

Find it hard to leave a review due to sitting outside for 1/2 hour had to leave we were getting hungry

I visit at least once a month for my fix of chille (with great chips and rice). Only 4* on this visit because Nick was a bit grumpy when he brought a wrong dish. End of season fatigue probably. Shame it closes over the winter.

As ever a great meal yet again me an the wife.. friendly place...spent most of week at Pickwicks....nothing too much trouble ..service fantastic...a very nice family run Tavern...ps oh great beer too 2020 gotta be done again

Visited here three times this week lovely place real homemade food with massive portions,I had the lasagne twice and got to say was the best lasagne I have ever tasted you’d be mad not to give this place a visit x keep doing what your doing it’s amazing can’t wait to come back

Poor food of low quality like microwave food, pies were literally pukka pies. It’s ok! Many more better restaurants!

A beautiful place we popped in after a day on the beach. Landlord was so welcoming and polite took time out to chat to us, nothing was too much for him and the food was gorgeous. Would highly recommend the Scampi and double burger both delicious. Will definitely be visiting again.

If you have the pleasure of visiting Portugal, you must stay at Olhos de Agua We went all inclusive and stopped at a hotel on top of the hill. ... But my advice would be to rent a apartment in the bay. The atmosphere is great, not for the teenagers but for families!,, I absolutely loved going to Pickwicks Tavern, the food is certainly something I would recommend and to be honest, I don't think I ate a evening meal that I enjoyed more, the people there are fantastic and their breakfasts are legendary!, if it wasn't for these guys, let's just say they made our holiday.
