Peaceful campground set in beautiful surroundings of the Alentejo. The owners are warm welcoming and full of knowledge, having built whole site themselves with sustainability and nature at the heart of the project. We enjoyed a wonderful time here.

Großartiger Ort, fern der Zivilisation und doch mit allem was man braucht! Sehr saubere Sanitäranlagen, hervorragender Pool und liebevoll angelegte Plätze. Google maps schickt einen zwar erstmal von der falschen Seite ran, aber der zweite Anlauf stimmte. Große Empfehlung, wenn man Stille und nachts auch Dunkelheit sucht.

Voor een echte 'Out of Portugal' ervaring ... De camping is prachtig, fijn sanitair en fijne gastheer en -vrouw met goede tips om de omgeving te verkennen. De omgeving is prachtig, stadjes, natuur, wandelingen en de geur van de rockrose...Wij zijn fan!

Wir waren im letzten Mai für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise da, seitdem empfehlen wir jedem Portugal-Rundreisendem hier einen Zwischenhalt einzulegen. Im Frühjahr waren insbesondere die Wildblumenwiesen ein Traum.

Perfect place for a peaceful stay, in harmony with nature. Had everything we needed and we felt welcomed. Only the pool was missing (it wasn't ready to use).

Das Beste an Naturcamping, das wir bisher gesehen haben. Sanitär TipTop. Fantastische Natur, ein Gefühl wie in der afrikanischen Savanne. Die Besitzerfamilie hat ein Paradies geschaffen, welches man in der heutigen Zeit nur noch selten findet. Absolute Empfehlung!!!

Had a great stay at this campsite last summer. We spent our last few days of our holiday in Portugal here, we liked it so much, we decided to book an extra night. The owners are really friendly and we learned a lot from their eco friendly lifestyle. I definitely recommend staying at this place. (and the optional homemade breakfast as well!)

Ein magischer Ort: Sternenhimmel, Leben im Einklang mit der Natur. Regenwasserpool und Sanitäranlagen sind super sauber. Tania und Waldemar haben etwas ganz einzigartiges geschaffen. Ein Traum!!!

Warmly welcomed into the site and as not busy, had our choice of pitch (camping). Information on local walks and bike rides of varying difficulties, was excellent. Brilliant narrative along with concisely mapped out routes, freely available in an information wallet. Eco site well run. Hot water plentiful and clean facilities. Beautiful surroundings, just natural and unspoilt. Recommended.

Genial sitio para descansar, sobre todo por la tranquilidad del recinto, la pareja que lo gestiona genial! Sobre todo por no entendían mucho español y hicieron todo lo posible para entendernos¡ los baños y duchas genial completamente limpios de 10¡ lo único por lo que no doy 5 estrellas es que me hubiese gustado un poco de luz en la noche para señalizar los caminos mejor! Pero lo aconsejaría 100% y por supuesto que volveré a repetir

Excelente parque de campismo rural, integrado na natureza no seu estado mais selvagem. Os donos são pessoas amáveis e de uma simpatia genuína. É uma referência em termos de preocupação ambiental e sustentabilidade. Piscina biológica. Recomendo!!

I love this setting campsite very pleasant toilets very clean and plenty of hot water. The pool area is tranquil and serene I love it. Wandermar the owner is very friendly also his immediate family. I have no regrets about staying here and if passing again would certainly stay again. 10 out of 10.

What a beautiful place. It was like being on an African savannah. You were just expecting to see lions and elephants to pop up somewhere. The house we rented was very nice and cosy. The view from the house and the terrace is amazing. Unfortunately the airco did not work at night. This is because it is an eco camping and at night there is no solar energy. Good thing ofcourse, but when it’s 44 degrees during the day and still 26 at night you wish the damn thing would work. Apart from this the hosts were very friendly and the place is beautiful (and there is a swimming pool). Only downside is the area, not a lot to see. You have to drive long stretches for some sight seeing. On the other hand this is a bonus if you are looking for peace and quiet and the opportunity to read a book and reflect.

Realment quan arribes al lloc (ens va costar per la ubicació que posa al Google maps) els comentaris tot i que són exelents, no fan justicia a la meravella que trobes davant dels teus ulls....connectes directament amb la natura. Un campament totalment integrat a la natura que et transporta als teus origens. Sembla Àfrica.. un gust exquisit. Una filosofia que s adapta perfectament al que buscàvem, reciclatge, respecte, sostenibilitat, amor per la natura i els éssers vius... Els propietaris amables i sincers. I dipositen confiança en tu . Creiem que és un lloc per connectar amb la pau, el relax i la bona energia. I potser hauria de quedar reflectit en algun lloc, ja que quan hem estat nosaltres va venir una família amb nens que cridaven i amb molt mal gust. Les seves espectatives de càmping no crec q fossin les que es van trobar. La piscina, per exemple, és un lloc de relax, no de cridar i esquitxar. Si vens a aquest càmping has de venir tranquil i respectar la pau dels altres. Ho estem recomenant a gent que creiem que encaixa amb aquest perfil. Tornarem segur i esperem sincerament que la petjada que ha deixat en el nostre cor segueixi sent la mateixa. Allí hi he deixat un troç de nosaltres ️

Een "wildkampeer"-gevoel maar dan met goed georganiseerde faciliteiten als een smaakvol ontworpen sanitairgebouw, elektriciteit op zonne-energie en lekker water. Zoals eerder gezegd alsof je in een scène van "Out of Africa" stapt. Het zwembad was prachtig met al dat hout en gaf een heel schoon en natuurlijk gevoel met fantastisch uitzicht. Eigenaren zijn super aardig en vooral Waldemar kan veel vertellen over.... eigenlijk alles. Leuke en interessante verhalen. Mooiste camping waar ik ben geweest in Portugal. Een mooie plek in Portugal met een prachtige sterrenhemel, maar dan wel alles goed (op z'n Nederlands) geregeld ;-)

Fantastisch! Wij hebben hier enkele dagen gestaan met onze dochters van 1 en 4 jaar oud tijdens onze reis in Portugal en Spanje. Dit was een unieke ervaring, alsof we aan het wildkamperen waren. Waldemar is een zeer een aangename gastheer die graag een praatje met je maakt, we voelden ons zeer welkom. Heerlijke douches met lekker warm water en een goede straal uit de douchekoppen ( iets wat nogal zeldzaam is op de andere campings die wij hebben bezocht). Het zwembad is heerlijk met een prachtig uitzicht. Wat ons betreft een aanrader!

Foi a minha experiência a acampar e não poderia ter escolhido melhor local ! Desde a simpatia e disponibilidade do Staff logo do primeiro momento, ao sítio em questão que é maravilhoso! Completamente rodeado de natureza, isolado de tudo, com óptimas condições. Recomendo vivamente!

Sehr schöner Campingplatz mitten im Alentejo zwischen Felsen und Blumen. Auch der Eigentümer, Waldemar, war ausgesprochen freundlich und für jede Frage offen. Wir planen gerade unseren nächsten Aufenthalt nach der Corona-Quarantäne.

Erg mooie camping midden in de prachtige natuur. Sanitair is goed en schoon. De camping is bijna geheel zelfvoorzienend met water enelectriciteit . Je kan er prachtig wandelen. Ook van de paden af. De (Nederlandse) eigenaar weet alles van de natuur en deelt dat graag. Een topplek om weer terug te komen.

Impecável! Receção 5 estrelas. Melhor seria impossível. Espaço super acolhedor. Distância para os outros utilizadores. Super-ecologico. Recomendo em toda a linha! Tem estrada direta a partir da nacional. Cerca de 1,8km de estrada não alcatroada mas perfeitamente transitável por ligeiros e autocaravanas. Bem sinalizada.

Excelentes condições! Só o facto de aceitarem cães no espaço sem cobrarem nada, já é espectacular. O quarto com uma salamandra que aquece na perfeição e em pouco tempo, conforto no quarto/bungalow. Boas camas, frigorífico, placa e instrumentos de cozinha para preparar refeições. Nós e a nossa cadela adorámos o local. A paz e o sossego, o pôr-do-sol, as estrelas à noite, a chuva a cair lá fora, um alpendre excelente para aproveitar o fim de tarde. Sem TV, mas não sentimos falta dela, sendo que a estadia era para curtir a tranquilidade. O Wi-Fi funciona na perfeição. Espaços amplos na natureza para se poder passear à vontade. Os anfitriões extremamente simpáticos. Na proximidade 2 restaurantes com boa comida e bons preços. No restaurante Tramelga fomos muito bem servidos, excelente relação preço/qualidade. Sítio a voltar sem dúvida alguma.

This is more than just another camping, it is a beautiful brilliant off-grid place in a desert like part of Portugal, the host is very friendly and will tell you with passion the story of its fascinating sustainable project.

Without a doubt, one of the best campings in Portugal. The hosts are always ready to assist you in every way they can. Keep in mind that this is no camping for the masses. You need to be in the right mindset and ready to disconnect from the world as soon as you step in. If you want to be one with nature and have an "in the wild" camping experience, I'm pretty sure you won't find anywhere nearly as good. Overall, it's a great park with an unique concept, where you feel welcome and comfortable. The icing on top is the pool and the sunsets. Can't wait to be back!

Liked: LOVED. One thing I will say is that Google maps will bring you the wrong way cos it doesn’t recognize road so follow road signs instead of taking side road! It was the most peaceful and tranquil camp I’ve ever stayed in. The owners are amazingly helpful, kind hearted & they really care about the land and the nature! The pool in the middle of this unique landscape was the icing on the top of the cake! Will definitely return to this camp - thank you again for help and hospitality :) clean facilities, very safe for families - all in all fantastic!

Lieu incontournable pour passer un agréable séjour en alentejo pour être au calme au milieu de nul part . Accueil très agréable Sanitaire très propre et douche agréable. Bien suivre les indications du camping et non le GPS . Nous conseillons vivement !

Achtung - Anfahrt (Google schafft es nicht richtig) von Vimieiro 2km auf der N251 nach Westen. Dann links dem Camping Wegweiser in den Schotterweg folgen. Der Platz ist super, einer der Besten die ich je besucht habe. Unglaublich tolle Besitzer - nett, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Mitten in der Natur, großzügig abgelegt. Es wird sehr auf die Natur und Verträglichkeit geachtet. Die schönsten Sonnenuntergänge zwischen vereinzelten Korkeichen. Und mit den tollen Städten in der Umgebung definitiv mehr als eine Nacht dort verbringen...

Prachtige plek midden in de natuur! Heel vriendelijk ontvangst. Schoon sanitair en heerlijk zwembad. Ideale plek om de sterren hemel te bewonderen.

Liked: Adorei a minha estadia lá. A tánia foi excelente na nossa recepção, fez-nos sentir em casa mesmo estando fora. Com uma piscina maravilhosa Irei voltar a este local de certeza.

Erg mooie camping. Vooral omdat er niets is toegevoegd dan alleen plaatsen in een natuurlijke omgeving. Erg mooie omgeving die een beetje africaanse uitstraling heeft.

Zeer mooie en rustige camping. Lekker zwembad, een hangmat en picknicktafels in de schaduw. Dorp is op fietsafstand met winkeltje en restaurants.

Tania and Waldemar have a lovely site, are very friendly and made us very welcome. They both speak very good English. We had a spacious pitch for our caravan with hard standing and there is a modern toilet and shower block which is very clean. The couple have designed the site for sustainable living so you are encouraged to not waste water or electricity. The site is a good base for touring the Alentejo area and Vimieiro (5km away) has good restaurants / cafes. We initially planned to stay 2 days but then stayed for 6! Sitting out at night looking at the stars is a must! We will return next year.

Wij hebben zes nachten geslapen in de bungalow op de camping en het erg naar onze zin gehad. We zijn warm ontvangen door de eigenaren en de hele week goed door hen geholpen. Het terrein is vredig en heeft een heerlijk zwembad waar je in alle rust rond kunt dobberen. S nachts heb je zicht op een heldere sterrenhemel. Een absolute aanrader!

Una experiencia maravillosa. El camping se encuentra en una zona muy tranquila y bonita con unos cielos espectaculares. El espacio está totalmente integrado en la naturaleza, tiene instalaciones muy cuidadas y con mucho gusto (Una piscina magnífica) El trato no podría haber sido mejor, nosotros nos sentimos muy bien recibidos y salimos totalmente enamorados del sitio. Repetiríamos sin dudarlo. Muy recomendable.

Si te gusta el contacto con la naturaleza, este es el sitio perfecto. Es un encinar en medio de la nada, con energía autoproducida así como piscina ecológica. Los atardeceres y cielos nocturnos, espectaculares. El trato directo con los propietarios, exquisito. Recomiendo especialmente el desayuno que te ofrecen, todo con productos ecológicos en lo posible y hechos en casa (mención especial para las magdalenas de bellotas). Muy recomendable. Estamos deseando volver

Das ist ein wunderschöner in der Natur gelegener Campingplatz! Er versorgt sich selbst mit Energie und Wasser trotzdem fehlt es an keinerlei Annehmlichkeiten. Dusche und Toilette sind modern gestaltet und einen Pool gibt es sogar auch. Als Geheimtipp kann ich nur das Frühstück empfehlen, mit selbstgemachtem Brot und Belag aus der Region!

Great find at the end of a long day of driving - a wild hidden gem with amazing flora and fantastic night sky views. Owners are creating a sustainable campsite with privacy. Every pitch has flowering bushes and space between it and the next pitch. We were there in spring and the flowers were captivating. Cowbells and crickets to rock you to sleep. Very clean ablutions, rain-like shower with hot water, friendly and involved owners, reasonable prices. You can't go wrong! Pity we only stayed one night. The decked pool area will be finished imminently. Ask about the hike to the nearby village.

Amazing place for a real Alentejano feeling. The cabin is wonderful, very high quality material, comfortable, 2 huge windows - you wake up in the middle of the nature. The Wifi is fast and reliable - a great place to work on the computer. The owners are very hospitable and friendly - and make a great breakfast. A great spot for those who enjoy walking in the nature. Highly recommended.
