Very happy with this service. Used it for airport transfers plus to get us to Slide and Splash. Good value, easy to book online, drivers are professional and punctual, cars were very clean and the air con very welcome. Would highly recommend.

Great service, easily booked online and 2 child seats at no extra cost were added and were at the airport with a sign to collect us and collected us at our hotel to bring us back on our last day. Drivers were very friendly with excellent communication skills. The company kept us informed of collection via email also. Excellent overall service

Excellent service and communication. Greatly appreciated the drivers on our outward trip, large group across two cars, speedy transfer, patience and help when it transpired that villa was up a bumpy dirt track. On return journey one minibus with a trailer attached was sent. Also appreciate the tenacity of that driver who had to negotiate said track. All ended well and appreciated. Timely, reassuring communications, and professional. Will use again

Competitive prices, prompt service, friendly and helpful drivers and happy to help with last minute bookings and changes. As well as my airport transfers, I used them for transfers from our villa to slide and splash and Lagoa, as it was much more competitive than the local taxi service. We booked online and found it very easy.
We were kept very well informed by email about where to meet our driver upon arrival, and car seats were provided according to child’s weight.
Both our drivers were very polite and smart.
Our driver was very prompt for our return journey, we were also again kept up to date via email.
If we go back to Portugal ( which is likely ) we will definitely be using this company again.

Absolute danger on the road, drives on hard shoulders, cuts off other traffic causing other traffic to make emergency stops and almost being pushed over itself in the following crash.
Never ever use this service if you wish to live!

I would use this service again and again. The driver was waiting outside the baggage area with a sign with my name on it. He waited while I picked up a SIM card for my phone. I arrived at my destination in good time and got a mini Portugues lesson as well! I will use Algarserra Transfers again and recommend them!

This company was recommended to us by a relative and they did not disappoint us. Their representative was there at the airport gate holding our name board on our arrival after monitoring our flight, and exactly the same in reverse from our hotel to the airport. Contact was maintained throughout with reminders of our transfer date, time and pick up point. The price was also very reasonable making this airport transfer service very good value for money. We too can recommend highly.

Disappointed.....
We were booked via our golf tour operator ..
We had a golfing party of 27 (25 golfers) and were met promptly at Faro airport.
We were put into 3 mini busses and 1 private car. The private car driver and one of the mini bus drivers decided to have a race to Albufeira.. Very dangerous so they were asked to slow down..
Day 1 and 2 transfers were from a different company courtesy of the golf course ..
Day 3 was with Algarserra, Paraiso hotel to Vila Sol golf course. The coach driver's English was really poor, he was given a different name to our party and was adamant he was for that name. We paid privately to get our 1st 8 players to the golf course whilst the rest waited, eventually they were taken by the driver with the wrong information ..
On our return back from golf the exact same thing happened with the exact same different name. It took another 30 mins and multiple telephone calls until the driver got told to take us..
The attitude from whoever I spoke to Algarserra was disgraceful. He kept on telling us our driver was on his way.. OUR DRIVER WAS THERE WITH THE WRONG NAME..

Fantastic customer service from the beginning till the end.
Very clear and easy website. Made the booking worry free. We got an email with absolutely all the information we needed. There was even a map where to find our driver.
He held an iPad with my name, which was clear and visible from distance. With a very receptive smile, he greeted us and help us with our suitcases.
On the way back to the airport, we booked a little earlier then needed, just in case the driver would be late or didn’t show and we could find an alternative.
No needed to worry. We know for next time. The driver was on time and greeted us with a warm welcoming smile even though it was 5am.
We made back to the airport safe and sound.

Happy with this experience. We booked go and return way. When we arrived, the driver was not here. We should phoned at the number stated in the voucher and in 2 minutes the driver was here. On the return way the driver was at the hotel 5 min in advance.
If you have an early flight, take a speed way. It cost only 5€ more, but you are sure you arrive in time.

I have used Algaserra for golfing trips and have always had excellent service. The drivers are always friendly and always early for pick up. This trip was no exception. The driver was great and the journey to Alvor was comfortable in one of your larger vehicles. I will use Algarserra again when visiting Algarve.

Wir hatten den Transfer vom Flughafen Faro problemlos online gebucht. Der Flug hatte Verspätung und leider war unser Gepäckstück nicht am Flughafen angekommen, wir mussten hier noch einige Zeit am Lost&Found Schalter verbringen. Dennoch wartete der Fahrer am vereinbarten Treffpunkt, obwohl wir schlussendlich über 40 Minuten zu spät waren. Die Fahrt war sehr angenehm, wir konnten während der Fahrt einiges in Erfahrung über die Gegend durch den Fahrer bringen. Für die Rückfahrt buchten wir wieder diesen Transfer, der preislich wirklich passt! Kann man nur empfehlen!

No problems with using Algarserra Transfers driver was waiting for us at Faro airport and knew exactly where to drop us off in Tavira, and on pick up to go home he was waiting for us to take us back, lovely smooth ride both ways, asked us first if we needed to go on the tolls but we declined both ways, website very straight forward to use, can choose if you need a car seat/booster seat free of charge, and option for tolls are there too which costs around 3 euros each way ...will use again if ever needed ...thanks Guys

I found Algarserra from the internet and booked them for a return trip from Faro airport whilst holidaying. It proved to be a great find and I cannot fault the quality of their service. The online booking process was straightforward and I received an immediate reply confirming the booking . A day before our arrival and departure, another email was received to confirm the pick up. From booking to drop of at our destination the company was most efficient The drivers and cars were very good, the driver was there at arrivals displaying our name, no hanging around waiting for other passengers then straight to our apartment. Excellent service and communication. Pre-booked both transfers in the UK using PayPal, driver was waiting and ready, even after a 3.5 hour delay. On the return journey, our driver arrived 20 mins early and we also received a message to let us know he was waiting outside. We also booked a child car seat for both journeys.

Fantastic service. This is the 2nd time I've used Algarserra and will use them every time now. They have friendly/professional drivers, they are always on-time, the vehicles are clean and modern.
Prices are also fair. I had a 9 seater minibus to take me from Faro Airport to Albufeira and it cost around 90EUR for the both ways transport.
I had to make a change to my pickup address the day before pickup, and it was handled quickly and properly. I also received email and text updates confirming details.
Really impressed with Algarserra Transfers - give them a go!

Had issues while returning to airport- the car stopped on the way - 5 times due electircal problems - 2 times on the motorway which was scary - that too with a baby on board. The engine just switched off in the middle of the road. The driver did call the owner to report the problem and ask for another car - but was refused and asked to carry on with the same faulty vehicle for 40 kilometres to airport. Was not professional and right approach. Customer Safety should have been top priority.
No issues while going from airport to Hotel.

Pas une bonne surprise, surtout quand on est seule pour gérer un garçon de 3 ans et un bébé de 7 mois...

This is the first time we have used Algarserra for our transfer from Faro airport to Tavira, and for the return journey two weeks later. We were extremely happy with the whole experience! The drivers we had were most polite and friendly and our journeys smooth and comfortable. Particularly impressed by the way we were kept informed by email a day or two before pick-ups both ways telling us that everything was on schedule. Very reassuring! We will not hesitate to use Algarserra on our next visit to Portugal!

Se olvidaron de nosotros... había reservado para las 4:30 de la mañana... y no apareció, llamamos al teléfono de atención al cliente y no sabían nada de nuestra reserva, tengo que decir que la persona del teléfono nos lo solucionó en 10 minutos, y todo fue bien, pero nos dimos buen susto. Furgoneta muy cómoda, transporte rápido y seguro.

We hebben een transfer van Faro naar ons hotel. We zijn erg tevreden over de service. Precies op tijd stonden ze ons op te wachten bij het vliegveld. En op dag van vertrek kwamen ze ons ook op het afgesproken tijdstip van het hotel ophalen naar het vliegveld. Zeker een aanrader! super.

Booked through this company 48hrs before leaving as we had a few euro's left and didn't fancy a couple of hours on the bus as previously experienced.
Booked on line, 4 people with cases & hand luggage. Arrived spot on time 4pm.
We received e mail & text updates.
Car was spotless and driver very polite and helpful. He gave us an option of routes , paying a little extra to use the toll road.
At the airport in under an hour.
€55 + €6 toll .. The best holiday money we spent.
Will definately be booking again.

Absolutely fantastic service. Arranged a transfer from Albufiera to Faro airport, turned up a bit early but that turned out to be in our favour. Arrived to huge queues at the check in.
The driver was very polite and helpful, and the car was clean and tidy and above what I had requested.
Would gladly recommend Algarserra transfers to anyone and use them again myself.

Drivers on both ways from airport and back were very nice and helpful. They provided a bigger van on the way back with no extra charge as we had a lot of luggage. The drive back to the airport arrived 15 minutes late which left us a bit nervous but I understand that these things can happen. All in all I would recommend.

Had a fall out with my friend one night on holiday. Due to unforeseen circumstance I needed a taxi home asap! This company were absolutely brilliant. I had a taxi booked for 0830 the next morning after booking at 11pm the night before. The driver the next morning was extremely polite and made sure I was safely taken to the airport.

I have made seven trips to the Algarve this year and thus used this company for at least five return fares.
Here are my comments:
Meet and Greet: always there on time so totally reliable.
The vehicles: spotlessly clean and very comfortable with phone chargers available
The drivers: all of them speak excellent English and all can be very helpful in terms of recommendations re places to visit etc.
Communications: the website is great for booking but emails are answered very promptly too.
Last week I touched down at Faro at 10am and was booking into hotel in distant Lagos by 11.30.
Other hotel guests on a package tour took 2.5 hours to get to the hotel.
That's half a day wasted in terms of beach/pool time.
Cannot praise the company enough for its efficiency and the quality of the drivers in all respects.

Reliable, helpful and courteous. We were really impressed by the service, the driver helped us find our accommodation in the middle of a pedestrianised medieval town. He had the right car seats for my sons and the minibus was clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent services - very well behaved drivers , with good command of English. They were in time at both transfers (airport-hotel and hotel-airport). Many thanks to manager Luis Costa who was kind enough that one day before each transfer to send us email imforming our booking is available, car will be in time and be peaceful and relax regarding the tranfer. I mention that especially because i know is quit difficult get a taxi in Algarve, we faced such shortcuts last year in Albufeira. I higly recommend this company and for sure i will use its services again.

Good service but we couldn't really feel the air conditioning on the way there. We couldn't connect to the free wifi there and back. Didn't like been thrown around by the speed the drivers were doing especially on the way back to the airport, most of us felt sick when we got there.

Organisme très sérieux. Les transferts sont confirmés par mail avant chaque trajet. Les chauffeurs sont à l'heure sur le lieu de RV. Les voitures sont propres et confortables. Tout est mis en œuvre pour que les voyages se passent bien. Et cerise sur le gâteau nous avons eu au retour un chauffeur très agréable qui parlait français. Je recommande vivement cette société de transport.

In time and without troubles. The driver was nice and gentle, but he was driving really fast (100 km/h) in a zone with speed limit (80 km/h) even if it was not necessary because we were on time.

Got picked up and dropped off in a timely fashion. 60 euros in total from faro airport to albufeira + return which was much cheaper than the uber.
Things to be improved...why make the customer pay for tolls? Bit obsurd...its your business expense.
Second, a reminder sms on the day of pick up so i know for sure this guy is coming to get me.

I would use this service again. Our driver was not there when we arrived at the airport, although the flight was on time. Luckily, another driver from this company saw us looking and was quick to step in and call the company to check that our driver was on his way. He arrived shortly afterwards, the drive to our hotel was very comfortable in an airconditioned car with wifi. The driver was friendly and courteous. Our return journey to the airport was very smooth, we had ordered a big car (6 seater) which arrived a few minutes early to pick us up and was equally comfortable. The online booking process was very easy. I chose to pay the outward trip online and the return trip in cash. If you book the motorway route online it is 7€ extra, if you choose the 'slow' road and then change your mind you can pay 11€ extra in the car to take the motorway.

Very disappointed with the service. Driver picked us up to bring us to a golf course, I had specifically requested we get there at 11:45 to provide time to rent and prepare for the game. The taxi stopped on the side of the road waiting for another taxi to pick us up because it was more convenient for them. We arrived 30 minutes late and the round was spoiled. Won't be using them again.

Our driver, Francesco, was excellent. He was there waiting for us and as we drove to Alvor he pointed out various places of interest that were worth a visit; it was like having our own personal tour guide. Excellent service. We hired a mini bus to take us from Faro airport to Albufeira and return. They were waiting at airport as promised and arrived at the designated time to take us back at the end. It was we worth the 150 euros for both ways, which for 11 of us worked out around £13.75 a head. Excellent value. If in Portugal with a party again will have no hesitation in using them

Todo o serviço foi 5 estrelas. A unica coisa que não gostei, foi que no site dizem que a factura/recibo é dada pelo condutor e isso não aconteceu.
Ainda estou a espera do meu recibo, ainda mais porque é para apresentar essa despesa a minha empresa.
Por este pequeno motivo é que não classifico com 5 estrelas.

This wasn't the cheapest service, but was only slightly more expensive.
The driver turned up early to make sure he was at the right address and would return at the correct time, which he did.
My wife who fractured both bones in her ankle needed wheelchair assistance the driver used the phone supplied outside the airport to call for the wheelchair.
So to this driver I give 10 stars out of 5
My only regret is I never gave a tip so only 1 star for me

We were a group of 12 and without a car. This transfer service was absolutely amazing. I booked fairly last minute, but still received excellent service. A clean car, driver always on time and was more than happy to wait for us when we needed to get a few things from the supermarkets in the middle. We had to make last minute changes to pickup times and destinations which were always accomodated. Would definitely recommend the service to anyone visiting Algarve.

First Class service with Algarserra from start to finish.
My daughter and I arrived at Faro airport where our driver was already waiting to take us to our spotlessly clean taxi. He was friendly, professional and a competent driver so we felt very safe. He kindly allowed us to stop at a supermarket (to grab a few basics) assuring us there was 'no rush' which we appreciated. He even gave us a token for the trolley!
Our return journey was again without hitch by an equally professional driver and a very clean, comfortable vehicle.
I would definitely use Algarserra again and highly recommend them to anyone needing Airport transfers.

Both drivers were on time and very polite- however I did book a bus for 9 people both ways , when the bus arrived to pick us up, it could only take 8 passengers- 2 of the children had to squash together in 1 seat sharing a seat belt .
The return bus was very large and could accommodate us all

Had never heard of Algarserra Transfers before. Simply Googled Tavira - Faro Airport transfer and clicked on Algarserra. Glad I did. Very clear and simple-to-use site. Decided to treat ourselves to a decent car and, for only €55 ended up in a very, very nice BMW. Friendly driver, who arrived a couple of minutes early. We are hoping to go back to Tavira in September. Will definitely use Algarserra again.

Excellent service. We used them for return transfer from Faro to Lagos, they were on time both ways and very helpful. In fact, on the way back to the airport, our daughter was ill in the bus, and the driver took it all in hi stride, pulling over and even helping us clean up before carrying on to the airport.
One note - we initially asked for a non-toll route, however the driver took us on the toll road without confirming with us. As it was, we were late, so we were happy to pay a bit extra for the fast route, but worth mentioning that customers should confirm the route upon pickup rather than finding out once being dropped off.
A fantastic experience for us all round, would definitely use them again.

Good points: on both legs of trip from Faro to Rocha Brava (Carvoeiro) we were met at the booked time. The website and communication were very good.
Bad points: we had to pay for tolls even though the website says that these are included. The minibus was old with inadequate air conditioning. On the way back to Faro the minibus broke down on the motorway and we had to wait for a replacement - we were lucky to get our flight. We paid for tolls even though on the return journey we didn't use the motorway because of breakdown.
Overall, mixed feelings about the company
