Muito antigo o espaço... Já estive em muitos hotéis e pousadas do grupo sempre adorei mas este deixa muito a dejjejar

Estadia por motivos de trabalho e apenas de 1 noite. Pareceu-me muito bem. Quarto no 5°piso com uma varanda enorme com vistas para o mar e piscina. Nada a dizer sobre limpeza ou arrumação. Staff atencioso na receção. Tem estacionamento. Fica muito perto da beira mar pelo que dá sempre para uma caminhada ao final do dia.

Немного странное сочетание приличного уровня и наличия в номере кухонного уголка (в котором очень не хватает локального освещения),
Бесплатная сауна и турецкая баня. Открытый и закрытый бассейны. Приятная территория. Отменный завтрак.
Единственный недостаток отдыха - это отсутствие пляжа (но это не недостаток отеля),
В Кашкайше есть куцый пляж в центре городя, но там "яблоку упасть негде"

Отличный отель, оправдывает свои звёзды. Недалеко от мыса дьявола. Недалеко от центра города. Надо контролировать товарищей на рецепшене. Чек об оплате турсбора не дают, а при выезде требуют повторно оплату. С русским языком просто беда, хотя туристов из России немало. С английским тоже не очень.

Bardzo dobry hotel, profesjonalne podejście obsługi, fajne i uważne recepcjonisty. Dobry basen, fajna strefa SPA. Tylko śniadania jednakowe, 10 dni byłem i 10 dni wszystko to samo... Przed 10:00 niema miejsca w stołówce, zamykają strefę śniadaniową... Niema bezpośredniego przejścia do oceanu, - nie, ono jest, ale zamknięte, i muśisz każdy raz chodzić na około! Nie polecam marketu naprzeciw hotelu, jest za drogi. I ten wieczny brzydki zapach w lobby, - śmierdzi wilgocią, basenem i starymi dywanami. Oprócz tego wszystko ok!!!

Hotel außerhalb, gibt Shuttle service in die Stadt, Möbel schon abgenutzt, leider war Pool innen kalt, letztes Jahr Mai war es doch sehr kalt, Frühstück war gut, Küche besteht aus Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle, es gibt Pizza, Bäcker, Restaurant und Lidl in der Nähe

El servicio y el tratamiento son geniales. Las habitaciones Deluxe son amplias y muy limpias aunque la cocina es un poco pequeña pero tiene lo básico. Las vistas al mar son bonitas y el buffet libre de desayuno está bastante bien. Recomendable.
The general service and the staff are great. The delux rooms are wide and clean, although the kitchen is pretty small it has all the basics. The ocean view is nice and the open buffet for breakfast is pretty well too. Recommended.

Gostei da estada neste hotel. A simpatia dos colaboradores é boa ( excepto uma colaboradora). Limpeza boa. O chão onde assenta o frigorífico e o armário de apoio ao lava louças deveria estar concluído.

Hier kommt man hin um der Hitze Lissabon's zu entfliehen. Traumhaftes Klima im August (wir haben bei offenem Fenster geschlafen). Das Hotel selbst ist umzingelt von Time-Sharing-Anlagen! Es ist eine Frage der Zeit bis das Hotel abgerissen wird und neue Ferienappartments gebaut werden. Anders kann ich mir den desolaten Zustand der Hotelanlage nicht erklären!

Recht ruhige Lage am Ortsrand. Zimmer geräumig und hell mit großem Balkon und neuen Möbeln, Bad ebenso. Viele Parkplätze direkt am Haus. Frühstück gut, Kaffee sehr gut! Personal eher wortkarg.

Also positiv kann man das sehr freundliche Personal benennen. Die Ausstattung ist stark in die Jahre gekommen. Die Sauna und der sogenannte Wellness Bereich sind unmöglich. Gegen eine Wertmarke bekommt man ein Handtuch zum Duschen und Saunieren. ...Kühlschrank im Zimmer funktioniert nicht. Ständig läuft Wasser raus. Die Stehlampe ist mit einem defekten nicht isolierten Kabel angeschlossen. Alles in Allem ist dieses Hotel nicht zu empfehlen.

Zeer verouderd hotel, heeft dringend nood aan een goede renovatie. Zo waren er verschillende mankementen aan de hotelkamer (het zijn er teveel om op te noemen). Ook was er onvriendelijk personeel. Ligt 33 minuten (met de auto) van Lissabon, terwijl ons gezegd werd dat het hotel op wandelafstand lag van Lissabon.

The staff, pool, outdoor areas and breakfast were very good. This Pestana property is under redevelopment from an old 1980style. The decor is outdated. We had several items that were broken in the room. One was repaired after informing the staff but the second remained broken. We have stayed at several Pestana properties and we are members of the Pestana group. But this hotel does not come close to their other properties. In a year or two once the redevelopment is completed it should be up to their high standards.

Aparthotel de 3estrellas como máximo. Un champú y un gel para tres días. Un solo juego de toallas y sabanas para tres noches. Cena buffet Frío de mala calidad y no entran las bebidas . Tuvimos que anularlos. La habitación no se limpió hasta por la tarde. La sauna y el baño turco deja mucho que desear.
Solo la piscina vale la pena. Lejos del centro para ir andando.
No comprendo cómo Pestana ha caído a tan bajo nivel.

Empregados da recepção e empregados de limpeza muito atenciosos e prestaveis.
Já na sala de pequeno almoço, quando são 11 horas, quase que empurram os hospedes para fora da sala.
Os lençois em quarto twin nao sao iguais nas duas camas, e isso já é mau, mas ter lençóis completamente gastos e rotos nao pode acontecer num quarto de 175,00 euros.
Como também nao pode acontecer as almofadas terem um odor desagradável por nao estarem lavadas.
A falta de cuidado foi tambem notoria nos pedaços de pano roto que se desprenderam da base da cama e estao pendurados.
Mau é tambem o facto de na casa de banho existir apenas. 1 gel, 1 shampoo e um sabonete.

No geral o hotel é Mau!
Falta de higiene, principalmente no WC do quarto.
Manchas de pingos de urina no tampo da sanita, cabelos na banheira e no lavatório, espelho sujo e copos muito mal limpos, etc.
Instalações antiquadas, pequeno almoço num sítio minúsculo para os quartos que têm, onde as pessoas literalmente se atropelam constantemente umas às outras.
Felizmente para mim esta estadia foi um voucher que me foi oferecido, porque senão iria lamentar por bastante tempo a má escolha deste hotel.
4 estrelas????

Nice location just a few mins walking from Boca do Inferno and very close to Guia with a nice choice of bars and restaurant. Possible to rent a bike also nearby, which makes it very easy and safe to reach Cascais after ca. 1 km of beautiful road along the ocean. Inside pool and outside pool well taken and with nice sunbeds. Lunch at the pool was also not bad, although choice is naturally limited. Staff is friendly and they let me use the pool far after check out (which is at 12). Easy to park if you go by car. Rooms are spacious, although a bit outdated, which is the only reason why I don’t give it 5 stars. Overall a nice experience.

Veel kamers hebben dringend onderhoud nodig, 4 sterren.......echt niet!!!!. Personeel doet zijn best, manager echter sociaal niet aangesloten. Eten niet te haggelen.
Geen gezellig hotel, locatie echter perfect! Dicht bij dorpskern maar ver genoeg om in een rustige omgeving te verblijven met toch gezellige restaurantjes op loopafstand.

Es un hotel Q no corresponde con las cuatro estrellas ni de lejos. Lo único Q es bueno es el personal del hotel la comida malisima sobre todo la cena, comida fría poca variedad de postre había naranja melon y sandia las dos últimas aun siendo de temporada estaban en malas condiciones le puse una reclamación interna y les pedí Q me devolvieran el dinero de la parte correspondiente de la cena de todos los días contratados. Si os pasa no dudéis en hacer lo mismo Q es su obligación y lo tienen Q hacer Q no os engañen. La piscina pasable mucho cloro el césped bueno pero el baño turco huele fatal y la sauna hace más calor fuera Q dentro de ella, las habitaciones limpias pero antiguas me hubiera gustado poner una reseña buena pero esa es la realidad todavía estoy pensando en ponerle una reclamación a turismo una esperiencia malisima

We had a nice stay at the Pestana Cascais. The decor is a little dated but the rooms are nice & the balcony is spacious. The staff were friendly enough.The local area is nice with an amazing pastry shop over the road & also a little supermarket.The breakfast really wasnt great & the bar food we ordered also wasnt great (burnt chicken nuggets which were taken off the bill). The cleaner had smashed our shower screen by accident but there was no note to advise us this had happened. When we realised we noticed two little shards of glass in the soap holder which we werent happy about as we had a 2 year old that could have hurt themselves. We went down to reception & they advised they were aware & were going to swap us when we walked past...but we were at the pool all day. We were then swapped into an ocean view room where there was some champagne & fruit on the table. The person moving us advised theyd put it there for us but the note next to it told a different story, wishing someone a happy birthday.The indoor & outdoor pools were brilliant & the grassy area next to the pool is also good...especially if you want to catch the sun as long as possible & have a nice view of the sea.Overall we had a nice stay with some niggly bits. Wouldnt stay again but only because weve done & tried it.

Muy amable todo el equipo de recepción y restaurante. La piscina no está mal, y tiene un jacuzzi. Hay una parte cubierta que viene bien para los días de viento, que según nuestra experiencia son los más. La ubicación muy buena, cerca de Sintra y Estoril, y a escasos minutos del centro de Cascais. El hotel provee a los clientes de un servicio de minibús gratuito que te lleva al centro de la ciudad (frente a la estación de trenes) y a la playa de Guincho. La comida del hotel no está mal, aunque tampoco es para tirar cohetes. Otros destinos cercanos son Mafra y la propia Lisboa, a 40 minutos en tren. A media hora del Cabo da Roca y a diez minutos a pie de la Boca do Inferno.

Tirando o Staff que foram excepcionais em todas as áreas. O hotel não apresenta qualidade nas suas infraestruturas, nem num todo ( bar, pequeno almoço, área de lazer) para ter a atenção de 4 estrelas. Realmente a vista é magnifica e os funcionários bastante simpáticos e atenciosos, só se foi por estes critérios.

Due to pandamic situation our flight has been cancelled. So we intended to postpone the date of our stay at Pestana Cascais Ocean and Conference Aparthotel. But they answered by mail, that there ist no reservation for "Franz Oberndorfer". I send them my booking confirmation again, but we did not get any reaction. The room was paid by creditcard on 17.01.2020. Please inform me about the further procedure. Thanks Franz Oberndorfer

I have to admit, this is my first family holiday in a hotel in a very long time as I've always gone for the Airbnb option. The hotel is in a row of other holiday hotels in the area. Positives: heated pool, food was not too bad (yet, the children loved it). Free Shuttle service several times a day to the Town centre. Proximity to the main beach in Cascais. Negatives: the indoor swimming pool is next to the dining area divided by a window, so you had the pleasure to see people in the Speedos while you're we're having your dinner. Repairs taking place around the main changing rooms ( no toilet, or shower after swimming). Nice rooms but the windows haven't been cleaned in a while. The hotel could do with a little upgrade around the pool area and they need to fix the swimming times so it doesn't overlap with the dinner times.
Generally, it was a pleasant experience, I'll book again if I have no Airbnb option.

A very enjoyable hotel. Buffet breakfast was very varied and delicious. Room very nice and kept very clean. Pleasant and very reasonably priced dinners. Very pleasant inexpensive wines. The highlight was the marvellous staff who were very helpful, kind and extremely courteous. We were there in February 2020 - what it is like in the high season I cannot tell you!

Hotel is not new, but everything was in a good condition. The room was clean and bright, adorable and minimalistic.What I liked about this place?- Hot tub and indoor pool were very good. I could enjoy and relax after daylight activities.- The hotel is close to the seaside with a running route. You will definitely love your morning running routine. Places and cliffs near this place are extremely nice.- Breakfast was tasty. Huge variety of local food, fruits, home-made breads, for any kind of diet.- Parking spot.- Green and blossoming territory.

J’ai bien aimé le séjour dans sa globalité. L’hôtel est dans un état correct. J’ai bien aimé le parking spacieux, le personnel accueillant et à l’écoute, des repas plutôt bons, un buffet de petit déjeuner varié, des chambres plutôt spacieuses. Le plus de ce hôtel est sa localisation exceptionnelle. Il se trouve à 2 minutes de marche de la promenade de Cascais, excellent pour marcher et courir, dispose de beaucoup de commerces avoisinants, quartier calme et très joli. Il y a cependant des éléments à améliorer. Certains clients seront excédés, d’autres, comme moi, donneront un avertissement d’encouragement: lumières terrain de tennis ne marchaient pas, serviettes dans la chambre présentaient souvent des tâches, coffre est payant. Pour moi ce n’est pas rédhibitoire, je reviendrais.

Um bom local seja para umas férias, seja para uma escapadela num fim de semana. Reconheço que o preço não é comportável por todos, mas de facto penso que recebemos um serviço com a qualidade do que pagamos. Voltarei aos Hoteis Pestana quando possa pois pretendo repetir a experiência.
Sugestão: O Buffet é fantástico. Por uma noite, procurem arranjar tempo na agenda para um mergulho na piscina interior.

A localização é agradável, assim como os quartos. Porém, havia muito barulho pela manhã de domingo, o que prejudicou o descanso que pretendíamos. A nível das comodidades, a piscina e a sauna são agradáveis. No entanto, o banho turco não estava a funcionar e os balneários são muito antigos e necessitam atualização.

Sou membro PPG do Pestana e está muito longe da qualidade que o grupo costuma proporcionar. Higiene horrível, das piores onde alguma vez estive. Cabelos no wc à chegada. Baratas na sauna. Pequeno-almoço fraco. Ementa do bar refere Tostas em pão Alentejano e servem em pão de forma de pacote. Não tem nível de um hotel de 4 estrelas. O único aspeto positivo é a decoração dos quartos e a piscina coberta.

What a hotel!!We had originally booked to have two nights in a different property, after night one we decided drastic action was needed and rebooked elsewhere. A read of other feedback convinced me the Pestana Cascais was the place for us. It certainly didnt disappoint. Location wise, its a little out of the marina area, but that is reflected in the price. Other than that I can not fault the hotel. The staff are amazingly wa and friendly, the pool area is spacious and welcoming, the gym is ok, WiFi coverage is excellent. The breakfast array and quality is outstanding. Simply a fantastic hotel for a family of four. We certainly made the right decision in decking to love hotels. So much so I am now looking at coming back to stay here again later in the year.

The room looked fine on the outside. But the beds were sinking in certain spots. They joined 2 twin beds to make a double. The room was renovated but the washroom looks like something out of the 1990’s. Good idea for a small kitchenette because other than some gluten free bread at breakfast, the kitchen couldn’t really accommodate for celiac (gluten free)

Nous avions réservez cet hôtel pour 6 nuit, notre expérience fût tellement décevante que nous avons préférer écourter nos vacances et partir avant, l'hôtel ne nous a même pas demandé pourquoi nous partions plus tôt ...
Par où commencer ... payer plus de 1000 euros afin d’avoir une vue sur la mer et qu’en arrivant dans la chambre nous avons la déception d’avoir une vue sur les travaux, être situé au dessus de la sorti d’aération des cuisines et d’avoir certes la mer en face cacher par les arbres vous ne pouvez pas louer cette chambre à ce prix là ....
Déçu du petit déjeuner ce n’est pas très varié, le buffet est vite dévalisé car beaucoup de monde et il prend du temps à être rempli...
je ne comprend pas comment cet hôtel peut être classer 4 étoiles il n’a rien d’exceptionnel à part ses piscines extérieures ..
Les chambres ne sont pas très propre les draps ne sont même pas changer même quand ils sont sales, nous, nous retrouvons avec deux lits simples super pour un couple ... la salle de bain laisse à désirer..
Quand au parking il y a trop peu de place par rapport au nombre de client donc si vous rentrer un peu tard car vous profitez de votre soirée ailleurs et bien vous ne trouverais pas de place à l’intérieur. Sans parler du fait que le portail de l’hôtel se ferme en même temps que le bar , heureusement qu’il vous répondent directement à l’interphone pour vous laissez entrer car nous avons été surpris la première fois de s’être retrouvés dehors personne ne nous avait prévenu à notre arrivés des horaires d’ouverture et de fermeture.
bref une expérience que nous ne renouvelleront pas

Excelente relación calidad-precio. Más barato que otros hoteles de similar categoría. Cuenta con piscina de agua caliente con jacuzzi, piscina exterior, sauna, baño turco, gimnasio y peluquería. El desayuno buffet es aceptable. Tiene aparcamiento propio y dispone de un minibús que lleva a los clientes al centro de Cascais. Personal atento y simpático. Hotel recomendable.

Checking in was easy and professional. The rooms are clean and modern and comfortable for my husband and I and teenage daughter. I love love love the balconies! And extra kitchenette! I'm sure we will be very comfortable here for a week. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was excellent!

Мы проживали в этом отеле с 29.05 по 05.06.18.Тихое место,хороший отель,в номере сделан ремонт,у нас 512 номер.Кровать очень удобная и хорошие подушки,кухонный уголок порадовал,все необходимое есть.Есть русский 1 канал на 427 канале вроде,так что очень здорово.В номере очень чисто,убирают каждый день.Вечерами ходим в баню и бассейн ,очень расслабляет.Завтраки хорошие,можно еду брать в номер.Да вообще все хорошо,может только молодежи будет скучновато,а так все прилично.

La atención muy amable (como todos en Portugal) pero el sitio muy regular con muebles muy viejos y moqueta (cuando los muebles son tan viejos las moquetas son sospechosas). Nos dieron habitaciones con vistas a la carretera y eso que era invierno y el hotel estaba medio vacío. Pero su ubicación me parece una buena opción y una buena relación calidad/precio para cuando, como nosotros, sólo lo queríamos para dormir y como cuartel general para hacer excursiones a los alrededores. Por supuesto no para disfrutar de las playas. El desayuno estaba muy bien (ojo: mucho mejor la cafetera de Barista que la de Nescafé ;) )

Generally speaking hotel is fine - room is clean and comfortable. Could be better because it's a bit aged. Hotel guests can use a swimming pool, a sauna (Finnish and steam) and also a small gym (with limited equipment). There is also a restaurant with bar. WiFi connection in whole hotel.

Nice hotel but very disapointed with room, as a pestana vacation club member we were assured we would have the best facilities and this hotel ,as it was on our list was available. The kitchenette was sparse, we even had to buy tea towels, no kettle,we boiled water in a pan no microwave as promised! .the room was dated with kick boards below kitchen units rotting! Definately long overdue an upgrade, this review for room 408 a third rate room. The hotel seems clean and modern in public areas, no entertainment though, cannot comment on food as we were on room only basis. Moved to pestana Alvor for second week what a transformation apartment fantastic with ever appliance provided, immaculate!!! October 2017.

Locul pentru plaje este ok.in incinta hotelului.La ocean plaja cu nisip este la cca 2 km.de hotel.Tarmul este stanford si nu prea ai acces la ocean.Este un hotel vizitat de generatia a doua care practica golful. So disappointed with this hotel. Had booked a 'superior' room (supposedly) but we wanted a twin, so were moved from a terrible first-floor double overlooking the car park to a terrible first-floor 'regular' twin overlooking the car park (they call it a "land view") with no recompense or hotel credit, which they claimed was because they were full. They absolutely weren't.
No access to the beach road so had to walk a long way round when a gate would have made life much easier. Swimming pool utterly freezing. Shuttle into town (about a 40min walk) only operated Mon-Fri. Breakfast average. Kitchen facilities dated. Bathroom door didn't shut. Were missing towels on occasion.
The bar man (José, I think) was really lovely, as was the amazing shuttle bus driver (who went above and beyond) and some of the other staff, and would return to say hello to them, but otherwise would never stay again. The bakery and supermarket opposite are brilliant as is the nearby cluster of restaurants. A real shame about the hotel as Cascais is absolutely wonderful.

The main disappointment with this hotel was that we had read that it was 'very close' to beaches. Photos of the hotel suggested to us that is literally right next to the beach. In fact it is a 40 minute walk to the nearest beaches and the town. There is a free shuttle bus into the town but this only runs at certain times of the day- not in the evening - and for some reason, not at weekends. Hence it is of limited usefulness. Taxis are expensive and we spent a lot of the holiday walking backwards and forwards to Cascais, often in stifling temperatures. There is nothing to do in the vicinity of the hotel.
The swimming pool at the hotel was fairly standard but unfortunately seemed to cause a nasty rash on my children's skin. This was too uncomfortable for them to continue playing in the pool and the rash caused stinging when they tried to play in the sea. This therefore limited the holiday somewhat. We told the hotel reception (as other families told us that their children had similar problems) and they said they would review the levels of chemicals in the pool. They also offered to get us some cream for the rashes which was kind.
The only other complaint was that the hotel receptionist would not let us have a kettle! She said the hotel was full and there were not enough to go round. She gave one to my daughters and said we had to share that one but they were in a different room on a different floor of the hotel. We had to boil a pan to make a cup of tea!
The wi-fi was excellent and breakfast was wide-ranging and tasty. Most staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean if a bit dated. The beds could have been more comfortable but I've slept in worse.
Overall I won't be going back to that hotel but Cascais itself is a great town.

The bad points are that the hotel is nowhere near Cascais, nowhere near a beach which is important for my family. No nightlife anywhere near. No entertainment in the hotel which is a little boring !

Hotel staff are friendly and very nice. Hotel itself is not great. When we arrived, there was a damp odor emitting from the bathroom. Maid service wasn't great either– we returned one evening to find ourselves with no towels nor toilet paper. Beds are uncomfortable. View from rooms are good. Overall the stay wasn't too great.

Ожиданий больше, но по факту расстроила меблеровка отеля, мебель в номере ооочень старая. Хотя порадовал размер номера. Так же удивило, что ванные пренадлежности старались недоложить и полотенца меняли не каждый день, а только если на пол его сбросишь... Сейф оказался платным-2€ в сутки, что тоже не порадовало, а расположение, бассейн, вид из окна (океан) отличный.

Très belle hôtel, personnel serviable et faisant un effort pour parler français.
Petit inconvénient, choix du repas très limité (viande, poisson, manque parfois d'accompagnements comme légumes, riz, pommes de terre mais, produits toujours très frais.
Etablissement très propre, cependant un peu d'animation en soirée serait la bienvenue car l'endroit est fort calme (idéal pour le repos...).
En plus, une petite navette avec un chauffeur sympa permet de se rendre rapidement dans le centre de Cascais (ville très agréable avec de nombreux commerces et restaurants).

Vim para ficar 3 dias e fiquei 10. Quarto duplo com varanda excelente. Mini cozinha com geladeira e congelador, fogão elétrico, e acessórios, mesa, TV na sala e no quarto. Serviço de quarto muito bom. Quarto de banho bom mas difícil acesso a ducha para pessoas com mobilidade reduzida. Pouca iluminação a noite. Excelente o sistema de ar condicionado. Corredores amplos e elevador bom para cadeira de rodas. Equipe da recepção impecável. Próximo a Praia e comércio.

We stayed there for 10 nights. We had a room with the ocean view, and the view was great. The hotel wasnt updated for some time, so the furniture is not in its best condition. We had some ants in the room when we arrived, but we reported it and the hotel management addressed it. The bathroom is all marble, but again, it hasnt been updated for many years.That said, the location is great. Its close to all action in Cascais, but not in the middle, so much quieter. They have a free shuttle every hour that takes you to the center of Cascais and back. Theres also a bus for 1 euro each way. We also used uber a lot to move around - 10 minutes to Guincho beach, 20 minutes to Sintra, etc. Beautiful walking/biking trail along the beach just outside of the hotel - also taking you to Cascais and the beaches. A few decent restaurants, one of which we really liked (Entraguas). Some other things - the pool was very clean, and the grounds were well maintained. The tennis court is not great, but decent (Ive seen much worse here in the US) and they only charge you if you dont have your own racquets and balls.

Es un hotel tranquilo, pero para nada es un hotel familiar. A los niños no les hacen ni caso. El personal, a excepción de Jose Ribeiro y Sergio Reinaldo (que son atentos, amables y simpaticos) es bastante estirado.
Deben tener en cuenta que no pueden estar echando broncas a las camareras todo el día (aunque sea en portugues se les entiende).
Un consejo para el encargado de los menus: si van a tener niños durante toda la semana, sería bueno poner algún postre con helado y no estar reaprovechando fruta del desayuno todo el día.
No volveremos.

Lungt läge med bra rum. God frukost. Trevlig personal.Lite för långt till närmaste strand. Bra att hotellets buss körde till strand utanför centrum samt till centrum flera gånger per dag, mindre bra att dessa turer endast gjordes på vardagar. Området kring pool samt trädgård inte tillgängligt efter kl 20. Att sitta utomhus kvällstid på hotellområdet blev därför svårt. Smutsiga glas på rummet diskades alternativt byttes inte ut.

Ein gepflegtes Haus am Stadtrand mit Blick auf den Atlantik, perfekter Service von kompetentem, überaus freundlichem, doch nie servilem oder aufdringlichem Personal - was kann man sich da mehr wünschen?Sehr gut: Stadtzentrum, Bahnhof und Busbahnhof sind tagsüber mit dem kostenlosen Shuttle-Bus des Hotels zu erreichen, aber auch mit der öffentlichen BusCas- Linie für nur 1€! Von dort kann man für wirklich kleines Geld nach Lissabon (Bahn 40 min, 2,40€) , nach Sintra oder zum Cabo da Roca fahren - langweilig wirds einem nie. Wir kommen wieder!

Nous sommes des fidèles clients de la chaîne PESTANA - pour leur option aparthotel,nos expériences similaires à Madère ne nous ont pas du tout décues.le choix du PESTANA - Cascais sest faite en toute confiance....mais nous avions quelques doutes qui furent confirmés à larrivée.La kitchenette navait que de kichenette que le nom...nous navions ni torchons ni produit vaiselle,heureusement la supérette nétait pas loin...et de plus il nous a fallu faire appel au personnel de l’hôtel pour nous aider à découvrir le tiroir à couverts logé sous une étagère ou reposait la poubelle...de plus nous avons eu des problèmes avec le frigidaire qui devait dater des années 1980...bref il faisait du froid quand il le voulait bien et lisolation nétait pas performante... donc avec la chaleur méfiance pour les produits... .bref petites déconvenues pour un séjour qui fut tout à fait correct.Les 4 étoiles ne sont donc pas trop justifiées- moquette usée - rideau de douche taché - drap troué- etc... mais ce sont les vacances...Le personnel est charmant et cela vous permet doublier ces petits problèmes.

Fräscht rum om än inte nyrenoverat. Mycket bra frukostbuffe. Gratis parkering och wifi vilka båda funkade problemfritt. Hotellet ligger minst 30 min promenad från centrala Cascais, så räkna med att ta bilen på kvällen om du inte är en riktig friskus. Poolerna är ok särskilt för barnen, men de är klädda med nån sorts svampig gummiplast på insidan vilket känns lite läskigt under fötterna i början. Kassaskåpen på rummen har ingen låskolv, den får du hyra för 2 Euro per dag. Personalen är trevlig och hjälpsam och man känner sig välkommen. Jag skulle kunna tänka mig att bo här igen, men om man vill nå Cascais nöjesliv och restauranger på ett enkelt sätt så kan det vara värt att välja ett mer centralt hotell. Dessutom är stränderna bättre i Estoril, som dock inte har lika mycket affärer och restauranger.

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel war von der ersten Minute an perfekt.Das Zimmer war geräumig, trotz Beistellbett für unseren Sohn, was ebenfalls schon parat stand.Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich, frisches Obst, frische Säfte, Kaffee so viel man möchte, sehr viel verschiedenes Brot,.... einfach perfekt.Obwohl es nicht in der Hotelbeschreibung stand, gab es Handtücher für den Pool, täglich frisch und kostenlos!WiFi war ebenfalls kostenlos!

Das Hotel war gut gelegen (nicht direkt an der Promenade und daher relativ ruhig, aber noch nah genug für einen angenehmen Fußweg zur Steinküste - der Weg zum Strand war etwas weiter aber noch gut erreichbar). Direkt gegenüber ist ein kleiner Supermarkt, bei dem man Kleinigkeiten (Lebensmittel) kaufen konnte. Sehr gut fand ich, dass das Zimmer eine Kochnische hatte. Leider waren die zwei Einzelbetten nicht zusammen verbunden, so dass man mit den Betten ständig auseinander gerutscht ist. Zudem waren die Möbel etwas überholungsbedürftig (sie waren im normalen Verhältnis abgenutzt). Der Service war absolut erstklassig. Das Personal war stets bemüht und super freundlich. Die Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt, sogar das Geschirr wurde abgewaschen (TOP). Das Frühstück war gut aber es fehlte an etwas Abwechslung (das Rührei hatte einen sehr komischen Nachgeschmack und war nicht wirklich gut gemacht). Alles in Allem war das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis sehr gut.

der allgemeine Hotelzustand ist dringend renovierungsbedürftig!!!Sauberkeit des Bades(Reinigung) ,am Wochenende Sa.u.So,schlecht!Reinigung erfölgte nach 16:00,fehlende HandtücherSchimmel an DuschvorhängenZerschlissene HandtücherWellnessbereich unsauber und veraltetService zum Frühstücksbüffet überfordertFrühstüchsbüffet entspricht nicht einer 4* Bewertung - auch nicht einer portugiesischen -so schlecht habe ich es bei einem Pestana Hotel noch nicht erlebt!!!!!!!

Its in a perfect central location. 5/10 minutes walk into Funchal central. Bus stop directly outside (really cheap buses). The main Hotel has a lovely olde feel to it . being built 1926, it has quite a few antiques on display, and really authentic grand furniture in the bars etc. The hotel is also connected to The Pestana Village , where there is even more ammenieties to choose from. There is a lovely walk around the grounds, where you can see how they grow all the flowers and trees for the other Pestana hotels in Madeira. really peaceful. except the road in front the hotel! but you do get used to it. We didnt try the Buffet, but we did eat in the other two restaurants and they were both exceptional. There is a cake shop few doors away, where we sampled an enormous amount of delicious cakes -

Gut ist das es einen Shuttle zum Bahnhof gibt!Auch gut ist die Kl. Küche und noch besser ist, das es gegenüber einen guten Supermarkt gibt. Doch glaube ich das das Hotel seine beste Zeit hinter sich hat.Ziemlich vergammelte Sonnenliegen, und noch viel schlimmer sind die durchgelegenen Matrazen.Auch sollte man das Abendessen außerhalb einnehmen. Es gibt nette und gute Lokale unten am Strand.Das Frühstück entspricht deutschem Niveau, das ist gut, da die Portugiesen nicht frühstücken.

Wir wurden von einer Familien-Suite up-gegradet auf 2 kommunizierende Zimmer (sehr komfortabel, fantastischer Blick auf das Meer, toller Balkon). Die Anlage war sauber und gepflegt, die Kinder konnten sich im Pool austoben. Wir konnten kurzfristig 1 Nacht aus persönlichen Gründen nicht wahrnehmen, diese wurde uns ohne Aufforderung nicht in Rechnung gestellt (das nenne ich Service!).

Just came back from staying over a week at this hotel. Before we went it looked really great from the site but when we got there it looked run down and needed some work. They got their 4 star rating over 10 years ago and it definitely showed they stopped caring after that. Swimming pool was like one you would find in the back yard of a hillbilly with cheap plastic used and the water was always cold. Not to mention the hot tub was barely warm and didnt always work. The free wifi would cut in and out and work maybe half the time. Make sure to double check your bill before you leave there were extra charges from other rooms on it. The rooms pluming didnt work as the drain took 1/2 an hour for the water to flow out. The free shuttle was a joke too. Unless you went at 3 different times in the day it was no good. We ended up paying over €150 in transportation costs while there including €40 just to get to the hotel from the airport. The sauna and gym were older than us and didnt work. If it was rated 2 stars it would have been more accurate.

the location of this hotel was good, particularly as the hotel runs a free shuttle service to cascais, but the hotel is showing its age. the room was a decent size, but the furniture, decor and bathroom were very old. the tv was an old crt 15 inch grundig, so although there was a good selection of satellite channels, the picture quality was very poor. there was a small cooking hob for self-catering, but it also was very old. overall, i would not stay at this hotel again.

Reasonable food for dinner and breakfast.

Das Hotelpersonal war zu jeder Zeit sehr freundlich und bemüht, Anfragen umgehend zu erledigen oder Wünsche zu erfüllen. Das Doppelzimmer war sauber und gut ausgestattet, die getrennten Betten aber nur wenig auseinander. Zu Beginn war die Hotellüftung relativ laut, wenn die Balkontür offen stand. Insgesamt hat sich aber die Wahl eines Zimmers mit Meerblick gelohnt: Vom 4. Stock hatten wir einen freien Blick auf das Meer und bis ca. 17:30h Sonne.Die kleine Küche war ausreichend eingerichtet, um selbst Mahlzeiten zuzubereiten.Genau gegenüber des Hotels liegen ein Supermarkt und eine Bäckerei (bis 20:30h geöffnet), um zwei Straßenecken entfernt ein Pizzabringdienst mit Sitzgelegenheit und an den Felsenklippen ein Areal mit verschiedenen Geschäften und Restaurants, die bis in den späten Abend geöffnet haben.Außerdem bietet das Hotel ein umfangreiches Abendbuffet an, die Hotelbar Getränke und kleine Mahlzeiten.Das Frühstücksbuffet besteht aus verschiedenen Brotsorten, Brötchen, Obstsorten, Obstsalat, Marmelade, Honig, Rührei und verschiedene Zutaten, Joghurt, Müsli und Cornflakes, Wurst und Käsesorten. Kaffeesorten und Saft stehen in einem Automaten zur Verfügung.Der Kleinbus bringt von 8-18h stündlich Gäste zum Bahnhof (10 min) und holte Rückkehrende dort ab. Wir haben diesen Service regelmäßigt genutzt.Der Fitnessraum im Keller ist vielfältig ausgestattet, aber auf engem Raum. Sauna, Whirlpool und Schwimmbecken haben wir nach Besichtigungstouren gerne ausgiebig genutzt.

My husband and I stayed at the Pestana for four days with our two daughters who had their own room. Maid service and the bus that runs into Cascais from the hotel were excellent. Our only complaint was the lack of morning coffee. Two half cups cost us 3.50 euros. It seemed to really put the staff out when we requested it too! Other than that, the hotel is clean and the pool is just awesome! We had a huge balcony overlooking the volleyball court and out to the Atlantic. The walk to Cascais is about 15 minutes but the complementary bus gets you there in 5. We hope to get back there soon!
