Very disappointed on such reading great reviews, Tees worn out, greens covered in pitch marks and worn patches, the course is very picturesque but looking very tired could do with some work to bring it up to a better standard. The price for a round about £175 not worth the money, better off going to Pinheiros Alto great 3 loops of 9 holes. Very small changing rooms small club house. Very friendly staff but looking for gratuity.

We played San Lorenzo late September 2018. This is a wonderful golf course with some great holes. Would love to play it a second time, particularly the 18th (and several others!).
Staff are very helpful, lunch very good and carts in good order. The only negative, was having to pay for practice balls, which we did not do. Ignore the negative reviews and play this course - you'll love it.

The San Lorenzo is a really, really nice golf course, and we highly recommend it. In great condition when we brought a group through in September. Great staff, and a very interesting layout. The course meanders down along the sea through holes 6 and 7 and finishes with a few great closing holes. If you're planning a trip to the Algarve for golf, this should be on the list. Great character

Played 12th Sept 2018 and the followìng day in a group of 16
Course and facìlities superb unfortunately it comes at a very high cost
Everything is so expensive even a small bottle of water
Not even a birdie on the 18th could soften the massive dent in the wallet on both days
I suggest you take food and drink with you and only use the bùggies if you are getting on a bit like me although the pull trolleys are ridiculously over priced aswell
All that said a round is a once in a lifetime experience any serious golfer should enjoy on a seriously good course with superb inland and coastal views

In combinatie met Pinheiros Altos tijdens 4daags golfweekend. San Lorenzo is een mooie baan met enkele zeer indrukwekkende holes. Zeker een bezoek waard! ⛳

Sin duda uno de los mejores campos de Portugal, de Europa y del Mundo. Merece la pena visitarlo y disfrutarlo por sus cuidados y magníficos hoyos, con un paisaje maravilloso
Además la dirección de todo un experto profesional como es Antonio Santos se nota desde que entras por las atenciones, cuidados y servicio de todo el equipo
Merece la visita y me encantaría jugarlo habitualmente

Very nice course. Not as modern as some but conditions are very good. Has a interesting, challenging set up, especially on the front nine. Greens in excellent condition. Some lovely scenic views.

We only popped in for a quick drink in the bar and we fell in love with San Lorenzo! What a magnificent garden and fantastic view!
The bar and the restaurant are very nice. The hotel rooms have enormous balconies, each of them edged lavishly with blooming plants.

Sono passata all esterno i campi sono molto curati. Naturalmente e personalmente vado a camminare nel splendido parco naturale della Ria Formosa dove all interno accoglie tra l altre strutture anche golf course. Soddisfatta

I travel and play all over the world but if asked this is my favorite course, talk about hard, has 2 Amen Corners 6-7-8 and ,16-17-18 you would love the challenge.

The place to play golf! Fantastic view. Excellent golf course and very nice people. Not a crowdy place where golfers are packed to maximize green fees ! They respect Golfers! Will be back soon for sure!

Had a great game of golf here. It's not a hugely long course but most holes require a level of thinking on your tee shot and also second shots.
The greens were quick and rolling very true, yet soft when hitting into from a distance. Has some very good views and water holes as well as very nice homes dotted around the course.

Beautiful golf course with very nice holes with sea views on the Ria Formosa. The club house is formal. The service is very kind with staff working there for years. The Sao Lourenco course is owned by the Dona Felipe hotel. You will get a great discount on the golf course by staying at the hotel. Check it out.

Excellent parcours mais pas la bonne saison (début août)
Vis avis des autres parcours de la région c'est l'un des plus touché par la sécheresse et également l'un des plus cher (120€)
Niveau golf les trous sont bien pensés divers et variés faisant appel à une stratégie de jeux pour pouvoir scorer.
Le service du pro shop et parfait, accueillant et souriant mais l'équipe du restaurant peut mieux faire.

Trata-se de um local muito bonito, previligiado, situado no coração da Quinta do Lago. Ideal para quem deseja jogar golfe nos melhores campos do Mundo. A praia do Gigi fica perto e podemos ir a pé, atravessando a linda ponte de madeira sobre a Ria Formosa. Tem estacionamento grátis. Os jardins e espaços verdes estão muito bem cuidados. As casas são ótimas e bem arranjadas.

Playing to day 19/4/18 greens had been treated sand and holes covering half the greens no discount given staff seemed to think this was ok €50 for buggies course not in very good condition very shabby not worth the money

Dont book this course for 2018-03. Overpriced!
Dont book! Managment should take care of course! Service ok. But after rain days, it’s overpriced at least 2 times. Don’t book book and not trust then you calling to golf reservation !

Um dos melhores campos do Algarve, inserido na reserva natural da ria Formosa que lhe dá um valor acrescentado; sobretudo as vistas sobre a ria. Percurso muito bem mantido, onde podemos encontrar uma alternância de buracos mais acessíveis com outros de maior exigência.

We played in gorgeous weather in late September 2016. The course is primarily a parkland course with a few photo opportunities holes by the sea.
From the white tees the course is relatively long but plays short because of roll.
The course philosophy seemed to maximize the challenge by elevating the greens and tucking the pins. Almost every drive was to a very wide landing area with the only challenge streams at odd distances crossing the fairways. Many sand traps surround the greens but the traps are shallow and beautifully manicured.
All in all vastly overrated. A pretty course but also pretty easy. While the off course staff was wonderful, those on course needed an attitude adjustment. A fun round of golf but not a seriou one.

Fantastic Golf Course .The manager MrAntonio Santos excellent host, my only criticism,Out dated GREEN MOWERS, noisy tractors Diesel pollution, NOISE,NOISE,Could be so much better with modern mowers ,come on you have the funds, just do it.. Sorry about that.Thanks

Je n'ai pas testé le golf ni le club, mais les appartements ; le golf juste au petit matin pour me promener dans l'herbe trempée. Un vrai petit dysneyland propret et agréable, bien loin du portugal me semble t il. Sans voiture : pas de salut. L'aéroport à coté n'est pas très génant. Bref : indiqué pour des familles pas très désireuses de découvrir le portugal et ayant besoin de se reposer.

The course was in good condition when we played on March 5th. However it took over 5 hours to play and we almost ran out of daylight as we played the 18th. Too many players squashed onto the start sheet I'm afraid.

Beautiful golf course with friendly staff. Relaxing and easy but still great fun. Holes 5, 6, 7 have sea views. Recommend it
