We went in a group of 10 to play golf. They put us in two separate villas 30 mins walk away from each other. When we asked for transfers to and from to see our buddies we got told they don't do that. Very poor customer service, one villa had no running water one day. Everytime we asked for something they would always say "No" and im saying the same now. NO NO NO, save yourself

First time golfing in Portugal and I was very impressed. Superb golf courses especially Grametcho and Silves and the local people are friendly and welcoming. The resort itself is kept immaculate and our apartments were excellent. Each golf clubhouse offers the same menu and every meal I had was great on quality, quantity and value. We also ventured into Carvoeira where we found the same warm welcome and a good variety of places to eat and drink.

Seriously good. For any standard of golfer there is course for you. The courses we played were all of a good standard. Well manicured greens. We had breakfast each morning at the clubhouse. At €10.50 It is great value for money.

I played Pestana Gramacho today. It was lovely. Unfortunately a misunderstanding arose between our party and the lovely friendly staff, especially Rebecca. I am so sorry this happened. It should never have occurred and the poor girl was upset. We,and especially myself are deeply sorry but the staff who are so nice were never meant to be blamed. I am so sorry again Rebecca that I upset you and I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.

Gramacho gehört zu meinen Lieblingsgolfplätzen in der Algarve. Sehr gepflegt und interessant zu spielen. Wie immer tolles Wetter, ab und zu Wartezeiten zum vorhergehenden Flight. Aber, man ist im Urlaub und genießt die Natur und das Draußenseinkönnen im Januar. Anschließend gönnt man sich ein Getränk mit Blick auf Loch 18 ️‍♀️

The course is excellent but the staff is rude and unhelpful. If it wasn't for the fantastic layout and superb condition of the course the establishment would hardly even deserve one star.

Der Golfplatz liegt landschaftlich traumhaft und befindert sich in einem sehr guten Pflegezustand. Das Personal ist freundlich. Startzeiten klappen auch ohne vorherige Anmeldung wenn Lücken da sind. Ich besuche den Platz jetzt schon seit ca. 20 Jahren

Comentário sobre o campo de golfe: Percurso bonito e bem mantido, muito ondulado e no meio de alfarrobeiras e oliveiras que lhe dão um toque bastante algarvio!

Os quartos são confortáveis a cozinha estava bem equipada e a vista é soberba, o campo de golfe é de fácil acesso.

Gramacho to zdecydowanie najlepsze pole Pestany. Każdy dołek do zapamiętania. Trzeba tu być! Pole bardzo dobrze utrzymane. Stan fairwayów i greenów super pomimo masy turystów. Pole dosyć pagórkowate i dzięki temu świetne widokowo i malownicze. Prawdziwy odpoczynek podczas rundy. Jest kilka wymagających dołków ale cale pole raczej o średnim poziomie trudności.

Gramacho Pestana Golf är den absolut bästa golfbanan i västra Algarve. Då har jag 10 andra att jämföra med! Fin layout, jättebra tee fairway och snabba greener. Underbar uteplats ovanför 18e green efter rundan. För mig behöver inte en golf anläggning vara bättre än så här.

We visited friends who were staying on the course in a private home (that was wonderful - spacious and comfortable). The resort is typical golf and is in good condition, but not great if you arent a golfer. We did try the 19th hole for drinks - that was a disaster, we ordered G & T's. They offered three different gins, turned out they didnt have any of those and in the end we had to go into the clubhouse to get our drinks delivered.

Luxurious & spacious 5 bedroom villa with pool and roof terrace - Casa Leoes. This villa is superbly furnished and equipped. 4 double bedrooms on ground & first floors plus a further double bedroom with its own sitting room, bathroom and separate external access in the basement. The 2 ground floor bedrooms open directly onto the gardens. The 2 upper bedrooms have a shared sun terrace with loungers. The bedrooms have large wardrobes, aircon & ceiling fans. (Basement bedroom no aircon.) 3 well-appointed bathrooms and a separate toilet off the entrance hall. Extensive kitchen with sinks at both ends. Filtered cold water on tap. Breakfast bar, dishwasher, fridges & freezer, gas hob & oven. Microwave, toasters & coffee machines. Fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, glassware & kitchen tools. Large well-maintained gardens to sides & rear, around a large pool (heating by arrangement at extra cost). Lots of pool inflatables & garden toys. Plenty sun-loungers around the pool. Access from garden directly onto 2nd fairway. Dining room with 8-seat table and access via patio doors to external dining area, with 10-seat table, and barbecues. Roof terrace with glass wind-breaks, sun-loungers, more dining furniture and spectacular views over the Gramacho Golf Course and beyond. 2 very roomy garages, one with washing machine & dryer. Long driving with parking for at least 3 cars. Villa guests enjoy access to the Gramacho Clubhouse bar & restaurant and the resort has 24-hour security guards with manned vehicle barriers overnight. This villa is highly recommended. 40 mins drive from Faro Airport. Small, well-stocked (but expensive) supermarket near Clubhouse, 5 mins walk from villa. Jumbo, Intermarché, Pingu Doce, Appolonia and Aldi supermarkets all within 10 mins by car. App 10 mins by car to Carvoeiro for bars, restaurants, tourist shops and lovely beach. Taxis are cheap - to/from Carvoeiro costs only €10-€12, regardless of number of passengers. Minibus taxis for larger groups are easily available from the main rank near the square. We had great taxi service from Everywhere Travel. (Sept 2018 stay.)

Great course. Shame about the bunkers being rock hard and little free sand. Friendly staff. Shop is well stocked. Well worth a visit.

Recent trip to Pestana golf complex. Our recent visit to the Pestana golf set up, arranged by our local club professional was designed to give advanced tuition to some of our junior section golfers, during their half term education break back home, and I write as one of the accompanying parents, keen golfers ourselves. The arrangements made by our host at Pestana, Sam McCarthy, an ex colleague of our club pro, were superb. He met us off the plane at Faro airport, and for the remainder of the trip he was always on hand to meet our every request. The facilities at Pestana are absolutely superb, the accommodation apartments spotlessly clean, furnished with modern first class amenities. As a family we thoroughly enjoyed the choice of meals available in the Gramacho Clubhouse, very tasty, catering for all tastes, and for those meals not included in the package price very competitively priced. The golf arrangements were quite demanding of the youngsters but very beneficial. Sam reserved a tee time for all the 5 days for a round a day on the Gramacho, Val de Pinta, and Silves courses, where he gave the lads many useful tips on how to improve their games, followed by short game tips in and around greens and bunkers. Sam also made a tee time reservation on the Gramacho course, and made up the four ball number for the three of us adults wishing to have a round of golf whilst there. An enjoyable experience it turned out to be, an opportunity to further confirm the magnificent condition of the golf course, and we offer our sincere thanks and gratitude to all the staff, whether working on the course, in the accommodation, in the office or in the restaurant at Pestana, and of course a special thank you to Sam, for making it such a very enjoyable week. Ordentliche und gepflegte Golfplätze, leider sehr enge Startzeiten. Auch zu wenig Sand in den Bunkern ( Silves und Gramacho).

Zaujímavé, náročné jamky, zvlnitý terén, výborné fairwaie a rýchle greeny.

Stayed with 20 lads this week and compared to last year we have had a worse experience although in the end sorted about rooms and compensated however silves courae pay by card as you get short changed if pay cash

Die Organisation ist unterirdisch, vereinbarte teetimes bei Pestana werden nicht weitergegeben bzw. nicht eingehalten.

Gramacho gespeeld, prachtige vergezichten, mooi gelegen tussen de villa's en town-houses in. Bebouwing doet aan de baan geen afbreuk. Mooie baan, zeker niet makkelijk, al likt dat er aan het begin wel op als je kijkt naar de slagen die je mee krijgt. Aan te raden is een buggy, is best wel veel up- en downhill. Na afloop van de 18-holes is het goed toeven op het restaurant. Vriendelijke bediening en een gastvrij ontvangst.

All good from checking in to checking out. Great place love the fact that my room had a kitchen so I could prepare so nice meals to eat on the terrace.

Second time here with a group..... Amazing golf and the villa we had this year was outstanding. We will more than likely be back again next year.

This was the one and only time I have been the recipient of threatening behavior from another golfer who blamed my group for the slow play of the four ball in front. The gentleman was reported to the head of golf who was unwilling to even speak with the aggressor to address the incident. As long as you pay, you can get away with anything you like on the Gramacho course. Very disappointing

Semana bem passada, apartamento espectacular, vista para o golfe maravilhosa, piscina embora partilhada com os outros apartamentos sempre limpa e sossegada.

Wunderschöne Anlage, aber leider Heerscharen von Gärtnern mit Laubbläsern und benzinbetriebenen Heckenschneidern, die keine ruhige Minute zulassen. Absurd: Sie pflegen für Touristen, die sie dann mit Lärm quälen. Nur für Golfer, die morgens ab 8 Uhr auf dem Golfplatz sind. Für alle übrigen leider keine Oase der Ruhe - zumindest nicht im September mit Bau- und Instandhalrungslärm von Hilti bis Zementmischer.

Sitio exclusivo para golf. Accesibilidad interior difícil. Personal de recepción poco amable. Salvo esto, sitio espectacular para pasar vacaciones tranquilas. Los apar tamentos enormes ,bien equipados y todo comodidades.

Paraíso, perto de tudo e longe da confusão.

Un des plus beaux golf de l'algarve. A faire absolument...

Óptimo local para umas férias ou uma escapadinha de fds. A 10 minutos da praia, o T1, acomoda perfeitamente família de 4 pessoas. Bastante espaçosa e com todos os utensílios Piscina a 20 metros de casa, pequeno almoço fabuloso (se não incluírem na estadia, poderão pagar pelo pequeno almoço - 9€pax). Para os amantes do golfe, tem um óptimo campo, para a prática desta modalidade. Tem ainda 2 campos de ténis, um pequeno parque infantil (a precisar de uma intervenção) e uma piscina coberta junto da recepção. Sem sombra de dúvida, um óptimo local para descansar.

O mais belo campo de golf de Portugal.

Foi uma semana muito prazerosa, mais pela companhia do que pelo sítio em si. A casa à chegada, não se encontrava como se gostaria quando se pensa num complexo de 4 estrelas, muito menos de 5. Com duas crianças muito pequenas, pedimos berços, mas não só os berços estavam cada um nos quartos do piso de baixo, como um deles se encontrava completamente impróprio para utilizar, tendo um comovido completamente irregular, como tinhamos levado um berço, não fizemos caso. Outro problema foi o 3⁰ quarto, para as outras duas crianças, estar situado no 2⁰ andar da casa. Com crianças de 2 e de 4 anos, é impensável. Portanto tivemos de improvisar e levar um colchão de um quarto para o de cima, para que uma das famílias conseguisse dormir toda num quarto. Ok. Instalados, mas não sem antes ter de lavar o chão todo da casa... pois não nos sentíamos de todo confortáveis. Depois disto conseguimos relaxar um pouco. Mas qual nao foi o nosso espanto quando durante 7 dias nao apareceu ninguém nem para mudar a roupa das camas, nem para mudar as toalhas. As quais tivemos der colocar na máquina de lavar. Afinal de contas... não fomos de férias... tivemos as mesmas preocupações que teríamos em casa. O lixo, não foi recolhido quase toda a semana, nem mesmo depois de reclamarmos duas vezes. A zona em si é muito calma. Quanto ao staff, quase não tivemos contacto com ninguém.

Che dire.. Entusiasta sotto tutti i punti di vista. Sul rapporto qualità prezzo devo dire che non c'è parogone.. È vero che questo resort sarebbe principalmente per chi vuole giocare a golf, ma molte persone come io l'ho usato come punto di riferimento per girare le spiagge e città dell 'Algrave. La struttura è veramente bella, con case veramente signorili in un contesto molto bello e rilassante. Ci sono piscine scoperte, e oltre a campi campi da golf ci sono pure campi da tennis e calcio per giocare. Consigliatissimo!

El sitio es muy bonito. El trato muy bueno. Teníamos alquilado un apartamento para 6 personas y nos dieron una villa con piscina privada. La villa muy chula. Pero no le puedo dar las 5 estrellas por la falta de limpieza, habían pelos en los baños, telarañas en las ventanas, manchas en todos los sofás y cojines... y porque la depuradora de la piscina estaba rota, por lo que siempre estaba el agua llena de hojas. También había muy poca intimidad, los de mantenimiento venían cuando les daba la gana a mirar la depuradora, también a arreglar el riego del jardín (hasta mojó entero a mi padre que estaba durmiendo la siesta en una hamaca de la piscina probando los aspersores...) otro día vino el jardinero... y a las 9 de la mañana haciendo ruido.

Nos han atendido muy bien el hospedaje fantástico,son viviendas muy grandes y en el entorno del campo hay muchas telarañas falta un poco de limpieza

Gostei, mas esqueci um objeto (bolsa) no apartamento, telefonei solicitando que verificassem, mas não deram a devida importancia.

Un sitio tranquilo y con buenas instalaciones para pasar unos días y desconectar. La casa era amplia estaba limpia y muy bien equipada.

Adorei pelas pessoas, local, limpeza...

Lo único que no nos ha gustado han sido los colchones estaban muy vencidos!!

Porque la limpieza de los apartamentos es insuficiente. Los apartamentos difieren a los que se muestran en las páginas web, donde sale anunciado.

Atendimento exelete, pratos bem confecionados. Um lugar agradavel pata passar uns belos dias de férias.

Tudo excelente, só os greens do campo do Gramacho não estavam nas melhores condições, provavelmente algum tratamento que foi realizado recentemente

Very good place for leisure vacances, specially if you like golf. Really quiet but not far from nice places to take a different moment. The personal working there is really nice and allways available to guive the best support!

Er worden veel teveel boekingen geaccepteerd. Daardoor moet men veel tijd uittrekken voor een rondje golf hier. Best een mooie baan, maar veel opgefokte mensen en de baan en buggies zijn veel te duur.

Excellent course in great condition, approximately 4.5 hours for a round which is pretty standard but the differing challenging holes and great scenery made it fly by, will be back !
