Perhaps not quite as good as the Gremacho course but still a picturesque course that presents a fair challenge and entertainment for most golfers.

Our visit was marred by the extortionate pricing policy. 3.50 Euros for a half of lager and 23 Euros for an electric trolley. Staff attitude was better compared to our last visit - see below. Course has a poor finish - a boring slog up 18 and an underlying theme of a walk through a housing estate. OK but not worth the Green fee rates published on the web - general pricing means it is one to avoid.
Course layout is better than the staff who barely get one star. Pro shop receptionist at 11:00 on Sunday 15th April was abrupt and unhelpful in sticking to an extortionate buggy charge of 45 Euros when we were not allowed to depart from cart path. 90 degree rule allowed later but we were not informed. All they seem to care about is maximising revenue rather than customer satisfaction.

Played this course several times and the best condition I have seen it. The management MUST do something about slow play and bar pricing is daylight robbery.

Excellent parcours très bien entretenu et avec des greens qui ne permettent aucune erreur.Voiturette indispensable pour profiter du parcours et ne pas finir à 4 pattes.

Challenging course and in the wind more so. Some.great holes. Staff very helpful. Many hilly holes to add to the difficulty, not to mention some enormous bunkers.

Buen campo. Pocos lugares planos, con mucho desnivel. Hay que jugar con paz-ciencia para lograr buenos resultados.

Piękne pole ze starymi drzewami oliwnymi. Świetne widoki - fairwaye szerokie położone w dolinkach. Bardzo grywalne o średnim stopniu trudności. Duzą ilość bunkrów rekopensują spore greeny. Pole wymagajace kalkulacji przy kazdym strzale. Polecam.

Not a great experience too many people playing who did not play golf and Prestana don't care after 4.5 hours played 13 holes and gave up !!

Een hele mooie golfbaan, alleen veel te nat...overal staat water, in de bunkers en op de fairway. Niet nodig! Verder gewoon goed.

Ein schöner Golfplatz. Anspruchsvoll aber spielbar. Ziemlich hügelig. Würde auf jeden Fall einen Buggy empfehlen. Anspruchsvolle Par 3 Bahnen. Bunker, Bunker groß wie eine Kiesgrube. Man landet sicher drin. Bahn 18 Par 5 mit 500 m- etwas für Longhitter. Restaurant ok. Lokale Speisen und Snacks zu vernünftigen Preisen. Pro Shop mit Standard Auswahl an equipment. Dieser Platz wird gerne von Engländern gespielt.

Très beau parcours. L'afluence et le rythme des parties ne sont pas trop contrôles. Au départ du trou n°5 nous sommes retrouvés à 4 parties en attente

Far better than it's sister course Gramacho
Some very interesting holes, if there is a criticism, there are too many holes on / around the same length, ( i seemed to hit a mini driver and mid to short iron in many holes) all the par 3's are good, not long but accuracy is required, the 18th is a very long par 5...... just about got there with a mini driver and 2 x 3 woods.

Sehr schön bespielbarer Golfplatz. Große und schnelle Greens. Die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiterin ist "ausbaufähig. Den Platz zu spielen ist zu Hause empfehlen.

Ihrisko pekne udržiavané, je tam veľa olivových stromov, terén je zvlnený a prechody na jednotlivé jamky sú dosť dlhé. Ihrisko náročné, vyžaduje sa presnosť hry. Greeny sú dosť rýchle, sú na nich "vlny" - pri nepresnom údere sa lopta odkotúľa a nepadne do jamky. :)

Second trip to the area, played this course twice.
It's a lovely course.
Good condition, great for a average golfer like me. Friendly staff.
Play is slow. Buggys at 45euro are expensive.
Just feel if buggys were cheaper less people would walk and play would be quicker. I've walked it before and it's not the easiest of walks.

We've been visiting the Algarve to play golf annually for more than a decade and have played Vale de Pinta several times. Unfortunately we have seen a real decline in the conditioning of the course in the past two years. The greens have been unbelievably poor in the last two Septembers, this year the rest of the course was fairly shabby too. Every green was like the ones in the photos, basically unplayable. If you tee off after 10am there never seems to be a buggy readily available and this year they hadn't even noted down our buggy reservation. Once one of the better courses in the western half of the Algarve, we won't be back for a while.

Played this course many times always walked it,never bothered with a buggy. Fabulous course highly recommend it.

Der Platz ist hügelig, hat einige interessante Löcher, doch der Gesamtzustand ist nicht gut, zu viele braune Stellen. Die Gründe dagegen sind ok.

Mooie baan, maar net als de zusterbaan Gramacho worden veel teveel boekingen geaccepteerd en zijn de golffee en de buggies veel te duur.

Course is pretty shabby and not too well maintained. Lots of winding up and down paths between green and tee so definitely would recommend a buggy. Club house was nice enough.

Very clean. Amenities are great. Our condo was beautiful. Golf course was reasonably priced and quite well kept.
