Staff overall were very friendly and helpfulMonica was amazing with her care towards our stay, our daily route trips and even gave snacks for our kid to enjoy throughout the day I would just recommend providing a wider variety of food for kids Breakfast overall was ok but it could be much improved given the level and class of this hotel

Beautiful hotel. Great for families. My 7 year old described it as epic!. There is a selection of swimming pools and a large playground. Food is quite pricey and there isnt a huge variety. But all good quality and you can eat at the nearby town of Cascais, which is lovely. Would definitely recommend.

I loved the facilities available for kids and the staff - they were super friendly and helpful - my toddler loved it!Disappointing was the food. The breakfast was standard for a good hotel - not 5* but it was fine. The pool bar food was good too and good options for kids.The pool bar closed @ 6pm and the only other option was the main restaurant. This was good for kids (buffet option and also a menu) however the quality for adults was very mediocre. The menu was over complicated and very chefy but the execution and overall quality was poor. With main courses priced @ EUR 25 this was really disappointing, A meal for two came in at over EUR 120 and only one of us was drinking wine. My recommendation would be to keep the menu simple, reduce prices and focus on the quality. The food was not in line with the overall standard of the hotel.

Awesome stay in Cascais. Breakfast spread was great every morning and the staff everywhere is incredibly sweet and helpful. We booked several tours through the hotel and none disappointed. The overall facility is clean and fantastic for kids. We could have stayed for much longer. Would highly recommend!

Sehr gepflegtes Hotel mit tollem Spiel und Bewegungsangebot für Kinder. Sehr freundliches Personal in allen Bereichen.Ruhige Lage des Hotels wird nur durch die Pflege des nahegelegenen Golfplatzes gestört. Auswahl und Qualität der Speisen war gut.Wir hatten einen wirklich gelungenen Aufenthalt. Lediglich die Preisgestaltung der Getränke und auch der Speisen an der Poolbar sind grenzwertig.

Great hotel, excellent facilities for kids. Staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Perfect location, although nothing is in walking distance.Food was pricey but nice. Rooms were excellent but the bedroom was small so two young children no one slept well. In future I’d consider a villa or getting an adjoining room.Only recommendation would be to have mire for adults as, despite the excellent staff and facilities, it felt slightly ‘souless’ - live entertainment, adults only time in the spa, cocktail hour to encourage adults to get together etc

We had a wonderful stay at Martinhal Cascais. It’s so well set up for families. The kids club is brilliant and our kids wanted to go all the time! It’s very safe and secure. There were lots of lovely touches such as the kids club staff are around at breakfast and dinner to help entertain the kids. The playground is amazing and there is a secure gate in and out so the kids can’t leave without you. The film nights and kids party nights are great too. The only thing that wasn’t so great was the lunch and dinner offer. The menus are quite limited (and very overpriced) so after 10 days it’s very boring and expensive - you definitely need to go out via taxi into Cascais to eat. We even went to Lidl and bought in food for lunch! Some people seemed to be on half board but this wasn’t offered to us - this would’ve been a good option.

If you have kids under the age of about 8, this place is perfect. If, however, you have teenage kids, there is very little in the way of activities for them to do. The tennis academy wasn’t running when we were there (not enough interest), and there weren’t sufficient numbers to run other activities.

Great hotel for golfers. Breakfast is excellent and the staff is professional and pleasant. The only downside is that I find the dinner restaurant overpriced, too bad there's no other less expensive alternative. Pool is quite small and at the Fitness club there are only cardio machines, no strength training possible.

Amazing family hotel 40 minutes from Lisbon airport. They have all the infrastructure you need for your kid, no matter the age. The only issue is that they only have 2 restaurants and the menu is limited. I only stayed for 2 days and it was ok, but if I had to stay a full week, then it would become a problem.

Malgré une arrivée très tardive à 2h du matin du fait de la grève des contrôleurs à laéroport Orly nous avons été accueillis avec un grand professionnalisme.Cest notre 4ème séjour dans cet hôtel que nous apprécions énormément : chambre - calme - spa & centre de remis en forme - personnel - petit-déjeuner & proximité de Lisbonne.

The staff were amazing! The kids club was great as was the breakfast. Ir was clearly iff season and several services werent available such as the kids pool. I would visit again as having a few hours toddler free was a great treat for mommy and daddy. All employees were eager to help and amazing with our son.

The playground is excellent. Found the service in the ground restaurant to be quite slow and often had to make repeated requests for missing items from the breakfast buffet such as plastic cups, bowls etc for the children. Reception staff were friendly but the resort felt a bit soulless although our children had a great time.

Kurzaufenthalt, mit Kind, 4 Jahre, perfekt dafür, tolle Spielmöglichkeiten, maximal kinderfreundlich, Pizzeria eher mäßig, Essen sonst gut, Frühstück sollte mehr variieren, tolles SPA mit tollem Angebot.

Junges, modernes, gut geführtes Hotel. Wenn man kleine Kinder dabei hat umso besser. Nichts für Single sport UrlauberFrühstück, Zimmer, Spa, Lage bei Cascais alles top.

Das Hotel ist gut gepflegt mit sehr nettem Personal und tollem Kinderspielplatz. Dank des überdachten Pools kann man auch bei dem meist windigen Wetter gut mit Kleinkindern baden, die größere offene Poolanlage war uns zu kalt. Einzige Kritik sind die überteuerten Preise im Hotel, von den kleinen Portionen beim Abendessen bis hin zum Eis für die Kinder. Es fehlt ein weiteres bezahlbares Restaurant um auch etwas Auswahl zu haben. Wir haben uns ein Auto gemietet um besser und günstiger essen zu gehen. Alles andere an der Anlage ist sein Geld mehr als wert!

Cant rate this place higher. service level of staff and their friendliness were great we always felt welcomed and attended to. The hotels nsurrounds ere serene, and the location good for nearby cascais, the coastline, and nearby mountain retreat of Sintra. The Hotel is especially perfect for families with great kids club.

Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffett, top freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, Personalanzahl und Ausstattung sehr hoch für nur 70 Zimmer, Kinderprogramm und facilities top in eigenem Gebäude, völlig ruhig, SpA Services sehr gut, leider nicht direkt am Strand, Strände nicht super geeignet für Kleinkinder wegen Wind und Wellen, pool sehr schön, könnte aber etwas größer und vor allem tiefer und beheizt sein, Hotel wurde 03.2016 von neuem Investor übernommen -wunderschöner Urlaub!

Attention les photos ne correspondent pas a l' hôtel...il y a un mélange entre le Onyria Marinha hôtel et le Martinhal hôtel..Publicité mensongère..Grave! J'ai été obligé de passer un week-end dans un hôtel que je n'avais pas choisi. Le Martinhal est bien mieux que le Onyria, surtout quand on a des enfants!

Magnifica estancia.Cuesta un poco localizarlo ya que esta en pleno campo en las afueras de Cascais.En nuestro caso contratamos una de las villas, ya que eramos cuatro.El trato personal ha sido excepcional en todo momento, los empleados han sido muy amables con nosotros.Planta baja con cocina americana y salon dividido en comedor y salon de estar con TV de plasma y dos habitaciones superiores con dos camas individuales enormes, TV de plasma en cada una de ellas y, separado por una cristalera, un baño con ducha. Al llegar no funcionaba el agua caliente y no tardaron nada en solucionarlo.La limpieza perfecta y la vivienda esta perfectamente equipada con todo lo necesario, incluyendo enseres de cocina y menaje del hogar. Dispone de terraza en una de las habitaciones superiores y un pequeño jardin con terraza en la parte inferior, con acceso a una de las piscinas del compejo.Tambien dispone de gimnasio, bastante completo del que disfruto nuestro hijo mayor unos dias, y un completo Spa, del que disfrutamos todos y que nos encanto. El desayuno muy completo y con una gran variedad.Internet en la habitacion, suficiente aunque con poca velocidad, olvidaos de la suscripcion a netflix. En el resto del hotel lo mismo, pero en el restaurante resultaba dificil conectar por la poca cobertura.Campo de golf en el hotel.

Chambre vaste et très agréable. Lit immense. Belle Terrasse. Personnel très agréable. Mention spéciale pour les massages. Buffet du petit déjeuner très diversifié et de qualité. Très bien situé : jardin magnifique. Dans un secteur à lécart de lagitation de Cascais. Près de Colares, Sintra et des plages océaniques ( plaîa Adraga, plaia grande.... moins connues que Guincho ) mais plus authentiques. Deux bémols : le restaurant . Pas du tout cuisine locale et cher( alors que le poisson est excellent et les restaurants locaux très agréables) Et les piscines non chauffées, trop froides.

Trato exquisito por parte de todo el personal del hotel. El entorno es maravilloso y muy tranquilo. El spa estaba realmente limpio y lo fundamental para mi: cuentan con productos sin gluten para personas con enfermedad celiaca. Volveré seguro o al menos eso espero!

One of the most fantastic hotels so far. The only bad thing is that there is no convenience store nearby and the hotel is a bit pricey. Everything else is really good.

We stayed there during the Xmas holiday for 10 days.What we hugely apreciated:The location and vegetation is absolutely spectacular and the calm and light of the hotel wonderful.The artchitecture of the hotel is great because there are only two floors and makes it feel like villas rather than a building. The design is pure and luminous, resting.The staff is really nice and helpful, smiling.Rooms are spacious and comfortable, bathrooms are just... AMAZING. IF you can, chose a room with view on the Golf court.The breakfast buffet is perfect, anyone will find his own preference!The gardens and golf court are so beautiful, and the surroundings with this amazing view on the ocean is breathtaking.The distance to the village is easily reachable by car. Several restaurants at 5-10mn distance by car, and the beaches as well.What could be improved:Cost of Internet is a SHAME. 25 euros per person , per day! No further comment needed..... If you use free wifi, be patient..... be really patient! Or better, dont use it at all.We were surprised by the quality of the food: really average for a 5 star hotel rated the best of the region.... For a price twice, three, four times what you can find in excellent small restaurants around, and not that tasty! CAN DO BETTER, for sure. Dont eat inhouse if you can except for breakfast, excellent.People at the reception are kind but tend to forget what we ask for. Three toimes in a week they forgot what we asked or got the message wrong. Organisation or communication needs to be improved.The SPA / fitness can be improved: Manucure / pedicure at the spa was not that good. They also sold us a scrub from DECLEOR which was already opened! The inner swimming pool is rather small and always crowded, get up early if you want to enjoy it. The fitness is.. a tiny tiny room and the reception can have full look at you while you train which is not pleasant at all. This hotel is perfect for outdoor pool and golf in fact.The GOLF: is HUGELY expensive. And we weigh our words. Get information before going about the prices for renting the material, lessons etc. before going if you want to play golf there. .Overall, we love the hotel and we would return, but we do believe they can do better.We suggest you rent a car if you come by plane as it gives you a lot of autonomy and it is worth. They bring you anywhere, from coast to woods, to architectural treasures, and the cost is super honest.

La situation un peu isolée de lhotel est vite compensée par le cadre magnifique et la disponibilité très rapide de taxis à prix très abordables ( 6 euros pour aller au centre de Cascais ) et dun service de trains et de bus pour se déplacer à Lisbonne ou SintraLe centre spa est très agréable avec hamam, jacuzzi et sauna Le petit déjeuner buffet est varié et propose des solutions à toutes les envies

What a wonderful stay. The majestic pines take center stage as they should the architecture and impeccable landscape design enhance the feeling of serenity and relaxation. But the staff at the Onyria earned our gratitude and highest praise. There was never a moment, when they did not extend every effort to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. This experienced world class staff made sure that we had all the information we needed to enjoy all of Portugal. They were able to share the nuances of our tour selections, shared their knowledge of local fare and really made us feel at home. Im not sure that Ive enjoyed breakfast as much anywhere. We are looking forward to our next stay at the Onyria.

This is our third visit to this hotel, its so relaxing and the staff are the best I have ever known on all my travels.
