On a stay in Coimbra we took a tour with Sara of GO Walks Portugal. We only had a day in the city and she took us on a tour through the old city and up to the university. The tour was small, only me and my wife which we appreciated. We met by the river and walked through the old town ending up at the University. The tour hit everything that we wanted to see. Sara was very knowledgeable and did a great job, we would not hesitate to recommend her.

Very knowledgeable guides and white glove service. Personalized tours possible too. Just ask for what you need. We had a wonderful time and Sarah was a great guide.

My husband and I enjoyed the walking tour of Coimbra tremendously. Our guide was a delight - so knowledgeable, pleasant, with the great sense of humor. (We do not recall her name unfortunately, but it took place on Sunday, May 21st at 10 AM). Even constantly going up and down the hilly streets of Coimbra didn't feel bad with her. :). We highly recommend this tour.
