We stayed here with friends in March and it was so good that we managed to get a great price from Jay for a long term winter let until mid March. We are currently staying and we couldn't ask for more as we are having great weather and its also great to be able to invite all the family for Chrsitmas and New Year. We are only using the upper wing of the villa with it's great 5 en-suite bedrooms and the villa is still too big ! Everyting is well kept and the staff that comes to clean every week is very friendly. Thanks again Jay

We stayed at Vilamarques in 2016 and this year we managed to book it again. We were very pleased with all the the new additions, specially with the new oudoor lounge area with it's rectratable sunroof so that at night we could all enjoy the stars, it can seat at least 30 people ! Great job Jay and thank you for keeping the villa in such an high standard

We are a grouo of German Golfers that love to play in the Algarve. We decided to try this villa for a golf holiday and it was much better then all the large ones we booked before, it was great for the 9 of us. It overlooks the 2nd fairway of Vilamoura's famous Old Course it was nice that we didn't have to share rooms. Each of us got it's on en-suite room. The villa is very well maintained and also very spacious. The 9 seater van was very handy to go play golf, shopping and dinning at the Marina. The hot tub and heated pool was fully enjoyed by everyone as well as the games room. Thank you Jay for letting us stay at your villa. Next year we want to bring the family. Best wishes

We, a family of 22 people (16 adults and 6 kids) stayed a week at this great property and we all had a great time, the villa is huge, plenty of different places for everyone to play, relax, drink & eat and dance without ever having the feeling it never felt it was cramped. All roms have great size and all en-suite. We could all shower at the same time which was new to us when compared to other large villas we sayed before. All was amazing but the heated pool, the beer on tap and nightclub were something out of this world ! Jay and his team were a great help from the booking process until we returned home. Can't wait to go back

Just returned from a 2 week stay at this amazing villa and all was perfect. Vilamarques has it all and for all ages. It's perfect for large familes such as ours, all is very well kept. Jay the owner was very easy do deal with and so was the villa's staff. The wifi is outstading, the large heated pool was amazing and everyone had a ball at the media room/disco. The courtesy minii bus was a added bonus. We srtongly recommend it and will return next next year

We have recently returned from a weeks stay at Vilamarques during this time our wedding took place in the grounds of the villa. The villa itself is stunning and was a perfect venue for our wedding however renting the villa as a holiday home itself sadly was not so enjoyable. The copious amounts of pre arrival information, the don’t do this and your not allowed to use this etc is somewhat extreme and over bearing. We understand it is a luxury villa but we have stayed in many villas over the years across the Algarve and we was a party of ages ranging from 2 months old to 89 years old, not a large group of men or women. The villa ‘staff’ turned up at the villa numerous times letting themselves in with no pre warning and when challenged about this I was told there was miscommunication at the office which is why we wasn’t advised beforehand. This made us all feel uneasy like we was being checked up on and not trusted like we was doing something we shouldn’t during our stay in the villa. During visits the staff were not very friendly and always walking around the villa trying to find fault and making comments. This made us all feel nervous and anxious whilst staying in the Villa and took away the enjoyment of a holiday. We had a few other issues surrounding the wedding but that’s between the wedding planners, suppliers and villa staff. On checkout one of the villa staff arrived again unfriendly and I expressed my upset of the stay and the issues we had her response was simply sorry over and over and that she will report back to the office. Much to my dismay nearly a week later we was sent a check out report which accusations of alleged damage caused by our party to furnishings at the villa, scratches and marks! This was deeply upsetting as we had cleaned the villa and treated it like a home from home especially our elderly grandmothers. After numerous emails asking for evidence of when the pictures were taken and reports from professional cleaning services we still haven’t received them to date and they held the majority of our €1500 security deposit. I could go on with further issues we encountered during our stay but simply myself and our whole party would not recommend staying at vilamarques if you want a relaxing enjoyable holiday and not get your deposit back!

We stayed in this villa as a group in Vilamoura playing golf and our first impression is WOW. Fantastic location for all the golf and the Marina etc. (about €7 in a cab). We were met by a lovely lady called Sandra who showed us around and explained everything the villa had to offer, including the use of the Villas minibus, which was something on other villa offered. This is a massive villa inside and out. All the bedrooms are a good size with a fantastic master suite. The internal living space more than adequate if it was at full capacity and is fully equipped with everything you need. We opted for the additional draft beer which is highly recommended. The external seating and dining is a great space and has many social and private areas. Other extras we opted for were the pool heating and maid service, both of which were delivered as expected. Overall this is a fantastic villa, with loads of space which would suit large family groups and smaller groups alike. We would definitely stay again

We were a group of 9 doctors staying at Vilamarques in May 18-25, 2019, and had a great stay at this very well equipped home. We each had our own equally appointed bedroom with en-suite. The property is so spacious and luxurious it was easy to either spread out in privacy throughout or gather together in various locations and comfortable seating areas outdoors or indoors with a great sound system and ambience. With 9 beer drinkers the very large beer keg and tap in the kitchen was a bonus in providing ice cold quality local beer at ease, not to mention not needing to haul vast quantities of bottles and cans from the store or consuming refrigerator space and dealing with smelly garbage. The water cooler with unlimited replacement jugs was also appreciated. The proximity to downtown on the edge of a beautiful golf course was perfect. Many of us either rented road bikes or golfed and there was plenty of space around the property to store and work on gear. Everything is immaculately maintained and well kept and the owner is rightfully picky about keeping it that way so all party’s staying at the property can enjoy a high level of quality accommodation that never feels run-down. The property manager, Debbie, was very personable and attentive to your needs including top restaurant recommendations, fixing our ice machine when it was down including bring separate ice when we made her aware of it, dealing with a plumbing issue in one room that arose, and making sure we were ok at various times during our 1 week stay. The van was perfect when all 9 of us wanted to travel together across the Algarve on day trips. I can’t say enough about the property owner, Jay, who was excellent to deal with in making arrangements prior to the trip, including providing local knowledge on navigation routes, various recommendations for groceries, wine store, catering services for the property and many other enquiries prior to the trip. During the trip we had a catering service recommended by Jay come to the property on our second evening to provide a fabulous Portuguese dinner. Jay happened to be in town and requested to drop in for happy hour before our catered dinner so we could meet him and enjoy some of his favourite local wines and charcuterie, which were truly spectacular and above and beyond what a renter would ever expect from a home owner. Overall, I would highly recommend this property as well as the people who own and manage it. Five stars!

Some plumbing issues with one of the rooms but otherwise a great place. Ideal location, lovely pool... nice management team.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the villa. It exceeded our expectations. The van is an added bonus. Everything worked well and was comfortable. The process - booking, information, check in and check out - was all very efficient. As I say, we are very interested in coming back next year so please keep us informed of availability.

Amazing! Every important detail to know before the arrival was given by the owner, who also planned all the logistics of our arrival and stay at the Villa. It was great to have all that space for the entire family. Certainly coming back anytime soon.

De wijk op zich is een rustige wijk. Het ontbreekt zich aan winkelcentra maar die zijn als je een auto hebt wel makkelijk te bereiken. Zou in ieder geval voorzichtig zijn om bij de Chinezen te eten. We zijn er geweest bij een jin du restaurant maar het was een verwarrend zooitje. Personeel kon de druk niet aan van zoveel gasten tegelijk. Je bestelde maaltijd ging naar de verkeerde tafel en het duurde en duurde. Je moet niet hongerig zijn als je daar gaat eten. Voor de rest prima te vertoeven vooral aan het strand. Leuke winkelcentrum. ALTIJD leuk
