Lost track of how many times we have returned to the amazing Monte da Quinta. If we miss a year it feels like we have robbed. Monte da Quinta for us is the most relaxing getaway ever. Situated 45min from the Algarve in the quiet and well-kept town, Castro Verde. Castro Verde has everything you need in terms of supermarkets, restaurants etc. You may be lucky and be there when the market is in town. The peace and tranquillity of the villas ensures the most peaceful and chilled break to relax and wind down. If you want to explore then there are loads of lovely places to visit which are not that far in terms of travel. We have a few favourites ranging from fresh fish BBQ on the beach in Milfontes or a relaxed lunch high up in Monsaraz looking out over miles and miles of land covered in lakes. Never fails to delight. Next visit already booked for October.
