Herrliches Weingut, geführt von einem herzlichen und zuvorkommenden holländischen Ehepaar. Wir haben uns hier rundum wohlgefühlt. Es begann mit den Begrüßungsgetränk, weiter mit der Führung durch das Weingut mit anschließender Weinverkostung und dem überragenden Frühstück. Wer die Natur und nachhaltige und regionale, Produkte liebt, ist hier genau richtig. Vom Weingut aus lassen sich kulturelle Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Coimbra, Tomar, Fatima und die Schieferdörfer mit dem Auto oder Motorrad optimal als Tagesausflug erkunden. Der nahegelegene Stausee und die Flussschwimmbäder laden zu sportlichen Aktivitäten ein und bieten eine erfrischende Abkühlung im Sommer. Wir haben den Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen. The perfect antithesis to modern tourism! You can't help but relax from the moment you arrive and are served up a 'welcome drink'. The perfect blend of nature, hospitality and great wines...... We stayed for a week and it wasn't long enough. Huubs enthusiasm for everything (but particularly his wine) is infectious. Wils attention to detail is incredible. Nowhere is off limits here. You feel almost as though you are in your own home.....but with sunshine and hangover-free organic wine. Avoid Bonjardim if you like sterile, box-like, generally non-descript hotel holidays. Everybody else, I'm sure, will take great pleasure in visiting here, wandering around and spotting the original features of an ancient vineyard....all of which seem to have been painstakingly retained and incorporated into the workings of this modern, organic, beautiful, beautiful place. Book the breakfast. Homemade yoghurt, local produce and produce fresh from the farm in a perfect setting. Make use of the pool and facilities. They're not very apparent on the website but make for a well spent morning.

After moving about 12 km north of Tomar 8 months ago and having completed nearly all of our building and DIY work we were on one of our first trips out to explore the country side. As lunch time was near we googled 'Restaurants near me' and chose Bonjardim. We arrived without a booking and the owner and Chef said they could accommodate us for lunch (but it was always preferable to make a booking in the future). We were made very welcome and shown to out table on the terrace where we discovered there was no menu only a 'mystery lunch' so we waited in anticipation. The food was plentiful, superb and delicious. The service was excellent and the views of the surroundings fantastic. We will keep the menu secret but you will not be disappointed. Highly recommended.

Prima ervaring in Albergue do Bonjardim. De gastheer was zeer sympathiek en nodigde ons zelfs uit voor een diner. Ook mochten we een rondleiding door de wijngaard zelf en legde hij uit hoe hij zijn wijn maakte (biologisch ook!) en hoe je kon proeven welke wijnen het beste waren. De kamers waren heel erg mooi en ook de omgeving is adembenemend. Zeer tevreden!

Amazing place with amazing experiences to be had. Hosts are super nice and engaging and the food and wine is a-ma-zing! The building is a recovered farmhouse which keeps a lot of the original features. Rooms are large and... roomy... and they are spotless! Seriously, you could eat from those sheets. Beds are super comfy and the view is amazing! You have a view to their vineyards and hardly an Eucalyptus in sight! They sell their own wine which is really good. Their white wine is an interesting mix of grapes that works really well and the red is mostly Touriga nacional and really well done. All organic farmed on the spot super low impact! Definitely worth bringing a couple of bottles home with you afterwards. Do not miss out on their mystery supper! All food is organic and local and they pour different wines to go with each dish which makes the experience richer! Amazingly cooked too! Really worth a try. All in all, a bit of paradise perfect to rest and recharge batteries. 5/5 experience.

We were in a safari tent, in the middel of the vineyards. Great hosts, very friendly, and really great food served at a reasonable prices at a great located (a terrace looking over the vineyards).
