Highly recommendable. Manny is a perfect guide, sharing history of this awesome national park, with best trained fast and endurance horses. An experience to remember!

We were lucky to spend 5 hours in the saddle at Horses in the Sun. We are experienced riders, so Manny and Milton matched us to Flecha and Eclipse for a ride through umbrella pines, cork and eucalyptus trees, farms, a small village and into the ocean. We had the pleasure of enjoying the smells and scenery of Portugal while indulging in our favorite pastime. Manny explained much about the history of the flora and fauna and answered lots of questions we had about Portugal. I would highly recommend Horses in the Sun.

Fantastic Experience What a fantastic place! I visited with my daughter and another friend we met at the Russo Surf Camp. Beautiful horses in a truly spectacular place. The views were amazing. Manny and Milton shared a lot of discussion with us about the area, history and our location on the hillside. The horses were brilliant, not your usual kick-a-long and they enjoyed a good gallop but also knew where to stop! We will definately return

Located 2km inland, driving through dusty unpaved dirt road you can find the horse farm and a farmstay. We stayed 2 nights at the farm as there's a farmstay B&B there and also took a horse ride. Overall the experience was amazing, the farmstay produces great goat cheese and fruits and vegetables. The breakfast was amazing and the hospitality was beyond our expectations. The nights at the farm were beautiful with almost zero light pollution, so we could see the clear black sky full of stars. The milky way was clear to the eye and we even cought few shooting stars.

Nous avons fais la balade de 5h avec la plage. Points positifs : le cadre est exceptionnel du début à la fin. Les deux moniteurs sont adorables et très compréhensifs/patients : ils prennent le temps de nous apprendre des choses, j'ai d'ailleurs plus appris avec eux en 5h que dans mon centre en France. La sécurité prime avant tout, ce qui est très bien. Points négatifs : le centre est assez dur à trouver (pas super bien indiqué) et les chemins de terre et de sable menant au centre sont difficilement praticables en voiture. Les moniteurs ne parlent pas français, ce qui ne m'a pas dérangé puisque je parle anglais, mais qui peut être dérangeant pour certains. Je recommande sans hésitation. Très bonne expérience.
