Séjour hors du temps dans le petit paradis de Véronique et Franck. Un lieu apaisant, décoré avec beaucoup de goût et un petit déjeuner à tomber. De super conseils également pour les restaurants ou balades alentours, et des petites attentions qui font toute la différence. Super mooie B&B, grote mooie kamer, fantastisch ontbijt, zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw en gastheer, mooie locatie , Dank u Veronique en Frank! An en Rudi

Vanaf de eerste stap op het landgoed.. ben je ontspannen. Het 2e gevoel wat binnen stroomt is verlatingsangst. Hier wil je nooit meer weg. + steriel schone kamers, geen vieze kitnaden. Regendouche waar je nooit meer onderuit wil. En een matras waar je naar verlangt. Met zorg ingericht, met als doel rust en luxe. Uitzicht is onbeschrijfelijk, dus daar begin ik dan ook niet aan. + zwembad, wauw. Dit was de overtreffende trap. Dan heb ik het niet alleen over de looks ervan. Maar over dat zelfs de temperatuur van het water perfect is. Ik ben er normaal nooit langer dan 2 minuten in, maar dat is niet van toepassing in dit zwembad. Uren heb ik gebadderd. Zelfs die randen zijn spotless clean. + breakfast, elke ochtend geserveerd onder de prachtige boom met opkomende zon. Ontbijt wordt aan tafel gepresenteerd zodat je van alle gemakken wordt voorzien. En +++ elke ochtend wat anders. Verse jus, smoothies, fruit, vlees, pancakes.. bijna alleen maar plaatselijke producten. Gewoonweg weer een 10 + interieur, je proeft, voelt en ziet dat het interieur van de farmhouse niet op een maandag ochtend in elkaar is geflanst. Hier zit ontzettend veel liefde en tijd in. Je ziet dat hier verschillende koppen overheen hebben gebogen en het resultaat mag er wezen. + hangmatten everywhere. Op je eigen privé plekje (die iedereen heeft aan hun slaapkamer), in de gezamenlijke ruimtes. Moet ik nog meer zeggen. + Omgeving, het ligt heerlijk centraal. En ze hebben natuurlijk zelf stencils gemaakt met informatie wat je elke dag zou kunnen doen. Ook dit is weer met liefde in elkaar gezet. + gastvrijheid, het woord ‘gastheerschap’ was voor mij iets wat ik de afgelopen jaren kwijt was bij hotels en andere plekken waar je kon overnachten. Je wordt op meerdere plekken wel goed en netjes behandeld alleen de echte ‘gastheren en gastvrouwen’ die je van alle gemakken willen voorzien en er echt hun beroep van hebben gemaakt om jou vakantie onvergetelijk te maken.. die gastheer/vrouw was ik al een tijdje uit het oog verloren. Maar mensen wees gerust, ik heb ze gevonden. Ze zitten je namelijk op te wachten bij Farmhouse of the Palms op het moment dat je 3 uur te vroeg aan komt rijden via hun prachtig onderhouden oprijlaan. 10+

This place is just simply an oasis of peace and paradise. A hidden gem in the surrounding hills of Sao Bras de Alportel (Faro area). Owners are the friendliest people ever, best breakfast we’ve had on our trip. Absolutely fabulous place !

Nous avons débuté notre séjour au Portugal au Farmhouse of the palms, un endroit absolument magnifique ! Il s’agit d’une ancienne ferme entièrement rénovée avec énormément de goût, les chambres sont belles, spacieuses et très confortables. Les petits déjeuners sont au top Et pour terminer, Véronique et Frank ont été de merveilleux hôtes, disponibles, discrets, prévenants et de très bons conseils pour découvrir la région. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit ❤️

This is the best place we’ve stayed in. Run by a very friendly and welcoming Belgium couple, everything was perfect - from spacious rooms with a huge terrace, stylish interior, delicious fresh breakfasts in the morning to a great dinner. This place is a great way to escape from everyday life and relax and sleep in in the mornings. We were very sad to leave, but already look forward to coming back next year.

This is a very special place to escape everyday life and get some rest. I would give even more than 5 stars if possible :) It‘s very calm and you almost feel like you have booked an entire villa for yourself. The hosts are very nice and gave us a great introduction to the house and all the little architecture details when we arrived. Everything is decorated with a modern, stylish touch combined with traditional Portuguese farmhouse style. The pool and garden is beautiful. The rooms are also very clean and modern, the bed and pillows were super comfy compared to other hotels. The breakfast was outstanding, with a new fresh smoothie every day. Also the dinner they do twice a week was fantastic! I could go on with many more details... everything just perfect!!

The Farmhouse of the Palms was really a terrific place. We already visited many B&B's through the years but this place was perfect and our best B&B ever. First about the accommodation; it is so beautiful and gives you the ultimate holiday mood. We got a really nice tour in the whole B&B. The information was very clear and they give such a great and clear information about road-trips, city-trips, restaurants in the area etcetera. My advice, just trust on this information and try it out. The rooms are very spacious and all very stylish.We had room 3 (suitable for 4 persons) for the two of us. This B&B is located in a quite environment but it is nearby Faro (about 16km) and other nice villages worth visiting. Breakfast here was every day something to look forward to. Finally and something which is very important to mention, is the hospitality of the owners of Farmhouse of the Palms, Veronique and Frank. From the beginning till the end it was really fantastic. They really know which "ingredients" are important to make your holiday complete! We really recommend the awesome Farmhouse of the Palms!!!

We never write a second review on a place we visited, just because we hardly ever visit a place twice when travelling. For Frank and Veronique's Farmhouse of the Palms, we gladly make an exception. In life you can find yourselves suddenly in need of a restfull, stressless vacation instead of longing for the adventurous getaway. Then it's nice to remember from previous travels a stunning B&B in an heartwarming climate (Algarve) with an abundance of pure and affordable food in the surroundings. We enjoyed - as we did our first time - the laidback atmosphere and aesthetical delight of the place. As tradition goes, an even more generous breakfast was served at the table under the alfarroba-tree. What a way to wake up, ear-to-ear smiles guaranteed for the rest of the day. On our first stay, Farmhouse of the Palms was rather new, and finished to the detail. We can now only say how well kept it is: huge spic and span rooms (airco, TV) an immaculate pool and a perfect wifi without blindspots inside and outside. Frank knows his tech! We can only thank the hosts for making it a memorable stay once again. In the end, this may turn out to be the place we will keep returning to.

We spend our holiday in the Farmhouse of the Palm and it was a PERFECT and TRANQUIL experience! We wanted to stay away from places that are packed with tourists and looked after an intimate place which can provide us with peaceful and comfort. Veronique and Frank who own this brilliant place have huge hearts and did everything to make our stay beyond our expectations. The room we had was spacious and very clean, the bed was highly comfortable and the view from our balcony was absolutely fascinating. Frank and Veronique give a meticulous attention to every detail in the rooms, the building itself and the lovely spots outdoor. Every morning we had a different amazing, rich and nutritious breakfast then we could spend sometime in the pool or reading in one of the hammocks which overlooked the beautiful view. Thank you so much, Veronique and Frank, and we definitely will be back soon.

A unique place, really beautiful, a real gam. Very comfortable rooms, amazing view and outstanding hospitality. Veronique and Frank go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. I don't think you will find a better place in Algarve.

For us by far the best B&B in the Algarves! A gem of an ancient farm in the hills off Faro, Algarves, turned into a soothing haven for the senses. Large rooms, whitewashed walls and beams with subtle lighting, and the purest of bathrooms we've ever seen. And then there's the terrace, garden, and patios all over the place offering cool spots with lounge furniture and hammocks. And did we already mention the large mozaic pool, ideal for relaxing after visiting yet another stunning village? The owners are very likeable people, always there to help you with their knowledge of the area, the best beaches, the ins and outs on restaurants... We always referred to them as our little travel agency. Waking up every morning with a breakfast served under the alfarroba tree was a treat. Breakfast comes with fresh fruit, coffee/tea and eggs served at the table and there's a little yoghurt/muesli/granola buffet. We enjoyed our stay enormously, and we will be back to chill, away from the Algarve beach-crowd in the hills about 20 minutes from Faro and the sea. You need a car and GPS to get to Farmhouse of the Palms.
