Les moniteurs étaient supers !!! Ils ont su nous mettre à l'aise dès le début. Nous avons fait deux cours de surf. Très bonne école pour découvrir le surf. C'est une grande famille. Le cadre est magnifique. Merci beaucoup à Mili et Vitor !!!

Amazing surf experience in Faro Beach with AMAR Surf school! Fantastic atmosphere, great instructors, beautiful beach and always a lot of fun. Highly recommend if you stay in Faro. My surf lesson with Amar was super awesome. Vitor was able to help me stand up during the lesson! So much fun and super inspirational. I thought I wasn’t going to like surfing but I really loved it. This is hands down the best place to go for learning to surf.

Wir haben bei unserem Aufenthalt in Faro ein paar Tage Surfunterricht bei AMAR Surfing Academy genommen. Die Surfstunden bei Mili und Vitor waren einfach super. Gerade am ersten Tag war der Wellengang und die Strömung sehr stark. Mili und Vitor haben unsere Angst vergessen lassen und uns super darauf vorbereitet. Sie versuchen immer, dass der Spaß nicht zu kurz kommt. Am ersten Tag hat jeder Neuling bereits einige Wellen gestanden, was ich vorher nie gedacht hätte. Ich kann die Surfstunden hier nur jedem ans Herz legen! Ich komme bestimmt wieder.

A minha primeira experiência de surf foi feita com esta equipa fantástica, cheia de energia e vontade de ensinar. É impossível acabar uma aula sem um sorriso na cara. Desde então não penso em parar de surfar. As ondas da ilha de Faro são espetaculares e as aulas são incrivelmente motivadoras. Se nunca fizeste surf ou ainda estás a aprender aconselho te vivamente a vir à AMAR Surfing Academia fazer uma aula para saberes do que falo.

I've started surfing with Amar and it could not have been better! Lots of fun while learning a lot. ‍♂️ Also Mili and Vitor are always helpful with any kind of question and care a lot. It's more than just a normal surf school!

Highly recommend. Down to earth and no nonsense school. Teachers had high energy, positive attitude and really took care of us, beginners included. We had an afternoon surf class which in November turned out to finish in the dark. The setting was amazing and the twilight pictures out of this world. Became the highlight of our trip and would love to go back.

All I can say is WOW! Thor, Mili and the wonderful staff at Amar surfing made my experience amazing. If you find your way to this lovely island of Faro and you want to learn to surf this is the company to choose! Your heart and soul will be happy after a day with them

Awesome! Nice place and most importantly amazing instructors, cheerful and including some "feeling it" in the teaching, where technicalities were kept to a strict minimum. So again: awesome! Thank you guys (especially Mili who was our instructor, we could just hear Vitor cheering the other group through the waves).

First of all i have to say i am not exaggerating with this review... We had a wonderful time with the staff of the AMAR surf academy. They were super friendly and took their time to make sure everyone in the group was able to catch some waves. Besides the great methods to teach you the techniques they will make sure that you will have a lot of fun. Thank you guys for showing me the paradise. The only thing I'm mad about is that you got me into an addiction. I will definitely come back. Brace yourself for next summer.

First of all Mili and Vítor are the best surf instructors you could have asked for, even though they don't want you to see them as a teacher, but more as a sister/ brother. Last one gives you a a taste of their spirit. They'll make you feel comfortable right from the beginning, encourage you to go on the board and just do it because you can do it! I took my first lesson shortly after arriving in Faro, which means I still had my backpack with me, but it was no problem to leave it there. The whole crew is super friendly and laid back! Thanks a lot, it was the best first surfing experience I could have asked for, thanks for making me feel comfortable and get a smile on my face for the whole day. :)

Highly recommended! It’s perfect place to fall in love with surfing! Milly is an amazing instructor, will share with you all her passion for surfing and make you to improve your skills whatever level you are. The surfing spot is unbelievable, it’s good either for beginners or already experienced surfers. Don’t hesitate, just message Milly and let you feel all the magic!

I moved to Algarve a year ago and found this little paradise with such a good vibe and amazing people from all around the world, full of lifetime stories. Such a blessing. For me, Mili and Vitor teach more than surf. They teach how to smile, how to enjoy the simple things and to shift your energy to live your best life.

I took a lesson with the instructor Mili and I couldn’t enjoy more. Not only did she give great pieces of advice which I haven’t got at any surf school before but with her personal approach she managed to develop as much of the surf skills of each student as possible. And with her positive and welcoming attitude, eventually she made all of us become friends. Thank you for this lesson, Milena.
