Prachtige locatie, nette kamers, goed ontbijt en zeer gastvrij

de unieke ligging aan de rivier en de karakteristieke uitstraling maken deze B&B echt de moeite waard om te verblijven. Zodra je het pad oprijdt ervaar je rust en kalmte. De eigenaresse, Sabine doet er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken. Een uitgebreid ontbijt, waar niets aan ontbreekt. Sabine kent de omgeving en kan je goed adviseren in het ontdekken van de omgeving. Het is rustig gelegen maar stadjes en mooie wandel/fietsroutes zijn in de buurt. Ondanks de renovatie in 2018 hebben de kamers een authentieke Portugese uitstraling. De nieuwe bedden zijn van goede kwaliteit en liggen heerlijk.

Deze plek is heerlijk om tot rust te komen. Na een bezoek aan deze B&B kom je weer tot leven.

We had a great stay at B&B at Quinta do Rio Alva in the Coimbra District in Portugal. This recently renovated and reopened B&B has four great ensuite rooms to offer with comfy beds, a large television and complete minibar (which makes absolutely no noise at night!). The bathroom is also spacious and well-equipped. You can hang out on one of their porches or on a sunbed right next to the pool in their large, green and lush garden. The location of the B&B is also superb. It is located near some small villages where you discover authentic Portugal, but also Arganil is close where you can go for some shopping. Even though villages are nearby, the B&B is located in a green area from where you can easily go for a hike or go (mountain) biking. In addition, it is located alongside the river Alva where you can go for a swim or lay on the sandy beach which is just across the river. The hosts are welcoming, friendly, enthusiastic and always willing to help to find the best places to go. The restaurant across the street offers traditional and tasty Portugese food for lunch and dinner, and also Sabine her breakfast is not te be missed: coffee, fresh juices and fruit, croissants, sandwiches, yoghurt and eggs. We are definitely coming back!

Voor de 3e keer weer heerlijk genoten van deze prachtige plek. Super gastvrij B en B eigenaars die er alles aan doen om jou het naar je zin te maken.

Mooie B&B op een prachtige plek aan de rivier. De gastvrouw laat het werkelijk als een thuis voelen. Prachtige plaatsjes en wandelroutes in de buurt. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug.

Excelente local para descansar e disfrutar a natureza

Lekker luieren in de schaduw van de populieren. Betaalbare bar met vriendelijk personeel. Het water is heerlijk en aan de kids is gedacht. Een echt zandstrandje, duikplank en een drijvende loopbrug. Waterfietsen en kanoën mogelijk.

Sítio ideal para um fim de tarde, principalmente no verão.

Bom restaurante com óptimos preços. Não ir muito tarde pois é bastante concorrido.
