Uns hat die Stadt nicht besonders gefallen.Etwas chaotisch das ganze.Das man es hier aushalten kann grenzt an ein Wunder bei dem Dauer Lärm der startenden Flugzeuge.Und das alle paar Minuten.Parkplätze sind rar.Man fährt sich schwindelig bis man einen hat.Geschäfte gibt es genug.Aber großteils " Ramschläden "

Absolutely love this marina. What a great selection of shops , January is relaxing and quite if you want a chill experience . People are friendly , Amazing food choices. Beautiful beaches . Great place to unwind and reconnect. It should be a must in your bucket list.

Great views and fantastic palce to start sightseeing when you visit Faro. With lots of benches to sit on and enjoy the views, cafes and shops nearby and just a short walk away from beautiful Arco da Villa.

Schöne Altstadt, auf jeden Fall sehenswert, aber etwas unübersichtlich und schlecht ausgeschildert. Am Anfang haben wir uns gefragt, wo sie überhaupt beginnt. Aber durchfragen und Google Maps helfen weiter. Besonders toll fanden wir den Besuch der vorgelagerten Inseln Culatra und Ilha Deserta. Das ist wirklich etwas besonderes.

Bel porticciolo turistico, al riparo dalle mareggiate oceaniche. Circondato da buoni ristoranti e bei negozi, alberghi per tutte le tasche e adiacente al centro storico di Faro.

Nice Marina , plenty to do and see,some very old buildings in the town or go and see everything on the little train that goes around the town. Plenty of places to eat and drink ,nice place, bit scruffy in parts

great place .restaurants on the harbour pretty expensive and drinks.. cheaper and even better up the town...get a ferrier for 5 euros to farol beach .it's beautiful.

Bel endroit ! Photo incontournable a faire avec "Faro et son cœur". Endroit où en été il y a bien souvent des animations : festival musiques africaines, folklore, danse, etc...

Très belle ville de Faro, animée, plaisante, où les cigognes ont élu domicile sur certaines toitures. Située en retrait de l'océan et protégée naturellement par les marais formant le parc de Formosa.
Porte d'entrée de l'Algarve pour les touristes, son aéroport est situé non loin, le balai incessant des avions est impressionnant.

Uma doca de atracagem de embarcações de recreio mas com características que não a elevam a uma categoria surpreendente. Curiosas as peças de escultura que se encontram situadas em terra.

Very beautiful marina, and the buildings are colonial style.
You will find in the area many bars and restaurants where you try tasty wines and seafood at very affordable prices.

Depois da limpeza do lodo acumulado e transformação em "marina", deixou de haver os cheiros nauseabundos do passado aquando da maré baixa! Agora ficou um lugar muito mais agradável para um passeio!

If you're looking for a fancy Marina, this isn't the place to go to. Small, not many options of places to have drinks, and nothing spectacular. In Vilamoura or Lagos you can find better options.

Um dos pontos fortes da cidade de Faro é o pôr do sol visto da doca. Quer seja num dos cafés da zona, quer seja num dos bancos do jardim que ali se encontra. Vale a pena tirar um tempo para ficar a apreciar a vista. Tem também um pontão onde se pode ver o pôr do sol mesmo em cima da ria. Incrível.

À part le vieux Faro j'ai été déçu. C'est une ville trop touristique et la ballade en petit train une belle arnaque, on y découvre rien d'intéressant.

Excellent shop opened even during Christmas and new year
It has quality products and dresses (Tu) and brand
I definitely would recommend products here which might be bit costly than aldi or tesco but definitely good quality

Centre point of Faro Nearby lies the old town with its beautiful cathedral and great views from the roof. Many bars and restaurants. Cycle routes to the beach and the Rio Formosa converge here, over the railway line near hotel Eva.

Très belle Marina, ainsi que c'est longue plages , c'est falaises rouge Orangé, ses restaurant abordable, coucher du Soleil très joli ,fin novembre température la plus forte. 19 degrés env!

It’s a lovely small town of Faro. The summer is over so it’s much less crowded and quiet here now. But I enjoy the calmness of the town it’s a great escape from Lisbon from all the noise.

Possue uma belíssima vista para a doca de recreio e para o jardim.

The Faro Marina offers a lot more than the Bombeiros Firestation and a few good cafes, it is a little hub to the more untouristic or better ecotouristic part of the algarve.
With the divert ferries for €5 one can for example boat to the ilha deserta, a wonderful island full of flowers and a nice beach n restaurant.
More to discober, also roundtrips to Olhao or beautiful Tavira doable.
All in all a great place for a day out, directly in the old town of Faro.

Stunning place with docked ships, water yards and trees! This is the most visited spot in Faro and also has a FARO sign with huge alphabets for photography! The rusty train track and walking wooden paths give the whole ambience a great feel! The best place to be during dawn and dusk!

Very well maintained waterfront. There are a number of docks, many boats, and a few shots. The FARO sign is also at this location and is popular with tourists for photos.

The marina in Faro is beautiful, especially at night. Unfortunately, that means it's pretty damn busy and flooded with tourists eager to take pictures of themselves with the Faro sign. Sure, I was a tourist during my visit, but not that bad of a tourist!

Bonita marina na zona histórica de Faro.
A única pena é a falta de zona para estacionar em certas alturas, o facto de a construção não ter sido a melhor (só quando a maré está baixa é que os barcos podem sair) e não haver limpezas frequentes da Marina, para que haja remoção de qualquer lixo que esteja presente na água.
É uma excelente zona para passear ou ir tomar um café.
