The strip is just a fun place from top to bottom, everyone enjoying themselves, plenty of bars and restaurants and some shops but it's all about drinking and dancing, don't go if you're a easily offended or after a quiet drink

Great little street, if you're looking for a good place to go tourist shopping.
There are also loads of bars and restaurants with a variety of foods available.
Unfortunately our trip to Albufeira was, rather than the planned and booked week, became only 1.5 days due to easyJet bringing us back early due to the Virus.
When things get better we will be back to enjoy more than one quick wrap and a couple of beers.

Unfortunately the Strip was in Lockdown so the restaurants and bars were all closed. As was the Square in Albufiera New Town.

As a couple in our fifties the strip is not for us! Loads of cheap lively bars though and loads of places to eat. Can see why it appeals to the younger generation. Loads of offers, shops galore, all in a 15 minute walk

Zeer toeristisch en er word drugs verkocht maar het is er ook wel een leuke sfeer als je in de 20 bent en dan kan je er veel plezier beleven als je je niet laat doen door de zakkenrollers en oplichters.

Main entertainment strip outside of the main town. Plenty of bars, clubs, restaurants and cafes plus a handful of gift shops. 2 favourites are La Bodega steak house and Fredis, both serving ample portions with reasonable prices. Was fairly quiet as here in December/ January, but I'd imagine the atmosphere would be brilliant during high season.

Everything you need in one place. Loads of the souvenir shops which i absolutely love, pubs, clubs, restaurants, ice cream shops. Their alcohol shops with very good range of wines. Through the strip you can travel in tuk-tuks and the 'train' that will bring you aldo to the old town.

De strip is een gezellig uitgaansgebied gericht op de Engelsen. Het is geen aanrader om daar te gaan uiteten. Er zitten verschillende clubs, disco's en cafe's. Voor iedereen wat wils. Er is vanaf het middag uur tot de late uurtjes gezelligheid.

Great place to go drink, however not much of a Portuguese experience. Way to touristy for my liking. Lots of promoters harassing you as you pass.

Stunningly gorgeous. Surprisingly easy parking for free. Not too crowded, but we went in October. Lots of great restaurants in this area. Great rock formations. Great beach.

Last visited 9 years ago and still got it ALL - WOW....MENTAL!
From Rock to Rap & Everything inbetween ...Bar after Bar of wall to wall music for all ages and then walk on 20 mts and ZAP nothing, piece & quiet. Prety surreal!

Very lively in the evening, happy hours during the day for local beer. You won't struggle for a meal around here or a kebab after a skinfull.

It's almost impossible to give the Strip a rating. It totally depends on the atmosphere you're looking for. Going for drinks and hangout with friends? Probably a 5star rating, because enough pubs, (strip)clubs and fun stuff to do. Going with family and kids? It's okay but don't plan to go later on the day because of the drunks.

Het is hier leuk vertoeven, juist jammer van van de vele zakkenrollers, oplichters en mensen die je er drugs aanbieden. De clubs zijn hier zeker en vast wel een bezoekje waard.

Dit is The place tot be voor jongelui (tot 40) in Albufeira Portugal...tig leuke kroegen/bardancings/clubs in 1 lange straat...hier loop je naar binnen en rol je naar buiten
TIP: Loop elke tent in mat je vrienden en vraag om een shotje... je betaald dan de welkomsprijs...en daarna neem je de volgende tent...en weer hoppa een welkomst drankje...
Zijn jullie zo dom...of ik zo slim whahaha

La vibra del lugar es genial, mucha gente pasandola bien, buena música en todos los locales. Los tragos son un poco caros pero es entendible porque es muy turístico. Un lugar para olvidar las preocupaciones y disfrutar al máximo

Heel misschien is het mogelijk om ergens op een rustig plekje nog iets lekkers te eten.
Maar... Als je houdt van programma's als "Zon, Zuipen, Ziekenhuis" bijvoorbeeld dan vind je dit misschien ook interessant om naar te kijken.
Vanaf 's morgens vroeg kun je de toeristen aan de drank bekijken.
Ze zijn dan al zeer luidruchtig dus je kunt ze goed verstaan.
Bijna iedereen verstaat Engels dus dat mag geen probleem zijn, hoewel je misschien zult schrikken van de stevige accenten en hysterische uitingen.
Zie er maar de humor van in.
Je bent hierdoor wellicht snel vermoeid en uitgekeken, let maar op: veel te veel van hetzelfde vreselijke vermaak.
Je kunt niet door deze straten lopen zonder bij elke deur te worden lastig gevallen door opdringerige "proppers" met aanbiedingen als gratis shotjes. Overal klinkt oude muziek, quilty pleasures, die als vals gekrijs klinken door de microfoons van de bars.
Wanneer je hiervan houdt, of niet beter weet, niet anders kent, je kapot zuipt en graag meedoet, dan heb je het hier misschien wel naar je zin.
Dan ben JIJ de attractie.

Never did a night out but im informed its a boozy, noisy, fun night out. Went on a Sunday afternoon to watch F1 and its has lots of bars with UK TV, lots of drinks choices, lots of food options, icecream, a few souvenir shops. All round a Brit place abroad, and freindly.

La famosa "calle inglesa" dónde los ingleses se emborrachan. Tal vez hay que ver algo así un vez en la vida...tal vez que no. Para gente decente hay mejores lugares en la costa de Algarve.
