Happy-Donkeys Sanctuary Algarve: I bought a pair of sunglasses from Alberto Oculistas in Continente Portimão especially for riding a motorcycle. Before I tried 4 different models at the shop and was assisted by one of their salesman who accompanied me outside the shop so I could try them in natural sun light. I explained I needed them to drive a motorbike, and he advised me the model I ended up buying. When I arrived home I soon noticed that at a certain angle the colors suddently change and returned to the shop 2 days later and was attended by a lady salesmen who confirmed that these changing of colour is very dangerous by riding a motorcycle. She than discussed the issue with the shop manager, who refused to reimburse me. When she came back she had changed her behaviour towards my partner and me, said that I had tried out 4 glasses and therefore she could not give me the money back. When we approached her, that she previously agreed that these glasses were dangerous for motorcycling she answerd that this was just her personal opinion and had nothing to do with the glasses!!! They offered to replace the sun glasses, but did not have the model I wanted and needed time to research, and had they found one in stock, the price was 57€ more than in other shops, as I later researched. They insisted that it was very clear on the invoice (small letters, barely readable) that they do not give a refund ! That is preposterous, as you only given the invoice after payment is completed !!!!! As it was clear they were not going to refund me the money, i asked for the Complaint Book, which they could not find and we were asked to wait, about 20 minutes, while they get one at their other premises ! This is a law infringement, and we had the right to make an official complaint to the police. Well, Alberto Oculistas: giving wrong advice, not willing to correct the mistake and getting disgusting unfriendly.

Conduzi 70 milhas até ao Home Depot mais próximo, a pesquisar um novo aquecedor de água. O cavalheiro à minha frente estava à espera de ajuda para localizar um produto. Após 20 minutos, um jovem finalmente apareceu com a ajuda dele. Ele estava lá apenas uma pessoa na canalização e nenhum outro membro da equipa podia ser visto. Outros 10-15 minutos se passaram com o empregado ainda estava procurando o produto para o outro cliente. Eu podia dizer que ele não sabia nada sobre o seu departamento e, portanto, nada técnico sobre aquecedores de água. Deixei o meu carrinho cheio de mercadorias e comecei a caminhar em direcção à porta. Enquanto o fazia, passava por alguns outros trabalhadores. Nenhum perguntou se eu encontrava o que procurava. Mãos para baixo no meu lugar favorito para ir quando visitar Florença. Eu viajo para Florença pelo menos a cada 3 meses e sempre faço questão de parar aqui. Eu sempre encontro algo para levar para casa. O negócio é de família. A loja está dividida em cabines de vendedores. O edifício é bastante grande. Acredito que costumava ser um armazém. Devido aos produtos serem vendidos por vendedores individuais, os itens variam desde a sujeira barata até o preço exagerado. Eu recomendo ir durante as estações mais frias. Eles não têm ar-condicionado e os ventiladores industriais só podem fazer muito durante o verão.
