Great place to stay. My only criticism is that the swimming pools were so ice cold we actually couldn't go in which was a real shame. Other guests also experienced this. Town centre is very close and the apartment was lovely!

Eine recht große Hotelanlage mit 4 Komplexen. Zwei dovon sind als Apartments ausgelegt. Wir hatten ein Apartment mit zwei Schlafzimmer. Der erste Eindruck ist atemberaubend schön. Auf dem zweiten Blick kommen dann die alters Erscheinungen zu Vorschein. Abgenutzte Sofas, Deckenstrahler die nicht mehr richtig fest installiert waren und die Steckdose hinterm Fernseher war aus der Wand gerissen. Die komplette Hotelanlage ist sehr sauber und ordentlich. Der Service ist freundlich und hilfsbereit in allen Bereichen. Das Frühstück ist stark auf Englische Gäste ausgelegt. Es wird immer nachgefüllt bis zur letzten Minute. Wir waren einmal beim Abendessen gewesen. Es war schmackhaft und frisch zubereitet. Es gibt in der nähe bessere Möglichkeiten etwas zu essen. Den Spa Bereich fanden wir als zu hoch gegriffen. Eine Sauna und ein Dampfbad (in dem man Gehörschutz braucht) ist etwas wenig. Die extra angeboten Leistungen wie Massage etc. haben wir nicht genutzt. Wenn wir nochmal nach Portugal kommen werden wir wieder hier hergekommen aber dann als Selbstversorger.

Wonderful resort close to the beach and restaurants. Walking distance to town center and all Lagos activities. The food and bar service were excellent. The spa, and pools were great. Book early if you want to enjoy the spa.

Loved everything about this place. First of all, the location. This resort is located in the posh part of town and I personally appreciated the million dollar villas surrounding the Belmar. It made for a pleasant experience walking back to the hotel. It is also located 2 min away from Porto MOs beach which is quite nice and wide. Not the most touristy beach but very clean and wide. Secondly, the staff. Shout out to Diana, Delio, Hugo and sorry I forgot the name of the 4th person at the reception desk. They were all amazing and went above and beyond to ensure I had a good stay and made great recommendations. I had considered staying at Carvi Beach and I am so glad I did not! I went by there to check out Dona Ana beach and was disappointed in both the beach and the Carvi Hotel. The Dona Ana Beach felt dirty and full of sea shells (not the pretty kind). There’s an abandoned building right next door to Carvi. Anyway, back to the Belmar. I absolutely loved it. Their breakfast was really good too. Will definitely go back! Uber/Taxi is about 5 euros to most places from the hotel.

Wonderful four day experience in Lagos! If you're looking for a great location in the Algarve with very close beach access and the amenities associated with a resort then give Belmar a try. The studios were very comfortable with modern kitchen appliances, a comfortable bed, clean bathroom, and large balcony adjacent to one of the main pools. Rooms have sufficient noise cancellation so you rarely hear your neighbors, which is great for those a quality night's rest. Rooms include everything you need to cook during your stay. Indoor pool, fitness center, and spas are all of excellent quality and cleanliness.
Service is top notch across the board. Welcoming front desk staff that speaks superb English. Dining staff is also very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is diverse and quite nutritional, though lacking in options if you're vegetarian. Hotel bar is quite affordable as well. Two local restaurants by the beach are within walking distance that are extremely affordable.
We really enjoyed our experience as a couple staying here and highly recommend it! We look forward to coming back.

Hôtel ‘spa’ et ‘4 étoiles’.
Nous avons réservé une semaine dans cet établissement en partie pour les prestations vendues : combiner un appartement avec les services d’un 4 étoiles, et de nombreux équipements ( spa, hammam, jacuzzi ,piscines etc..)
Cependant, a part la bonne localisation et la belle vue de la terrasse, tout ou presque nous a déçues. Piscines sales, jacuzzi inutilisable car cassé, hammam hors service. Transat au bord des piscines plein de fientes de mouettes. Aucun service équivalent à un 4 étoiles : quand on leur a signalé la saleté des transats ils nous ont ri au nez et répondu que c’était normal en bord de mer alors qu’en une semaine nous n’avons vu personne les nettoyer. Le ménage n’est fait que très brièvement tous les deux jours et nous n’avons pas eu une seule fois le nécessaire pour se laver.( shampooing et gel douche vide ). De plus, nos était tachés à notre arrivée et n’ont jamais été changés.Le room service n’es pas disponible en dehors du bâtiment principal. Pour le prix et les 4 étoiles nous attendions beaucoup mieux.

Schöne Unterkunft, kostenloser Parkplatz direkt vor der Unterkunft, großes Zimmer mit Küchenzeile in ruhiger Lage etwas außerhalb von Lagos.Check-In war vor 16 Uhr möglich :-) Check-Out war sehr schnell und unkompliziert.Habe leider folgende Artikel vermisst, welche bei einem 4-Sterne-Hotel Standard sein sollten: Wattepads, Ohrenstäbchen, Einweg Badeschlappen, Bademantel, Nähzeug, Teebeutel und Kaffee im Zimmer/Apartment etc.Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr gut, haben nichts vermisst :-) Wetter war laut Wetterapp 24 Grad - fühlt sich aber um einiges wärmer an, eine Reise in der Nebensaison ist sehr empfehlenswert.

Awesome hotel. Clean, spacious and great amenities. Location could not be better. Good fitness area and even a heated indoor pool (we went there in January - still, weather was surprisingly pleasant).

This hotel has NO customer service!!! My reservation was so poorly handled. I'm so disaapointed!!! I paid $749 dollar to stay three nights, unfortunately got sick, asked to reschedule which the hotel originally said they could honor during off peak time and now that I have requested to stay in February, it was denied!!! I showed them proof of my illness, but It didn't matter, no customer service, no heart!!! And the customer is not always right, Stay Away! Very bad experience!!!

Spectacular 4 star resort and residence walking distance to a great beach, active with surfing lessons. There's parking outside and underneath. There's a bar, restaurant and spa on site that offers a variety of services. Indoor and outdoor pools, workout areas and a great view of the sunset from the outdoor pool. Very well maintained property and resort. Be sure to check at reception for current offers and upcoming retreats, such as yoga mini courses or couples romantic packages for restaurant and spa services.

Wir waren im November im Belmar Spa & Beach Resort. Die Lage ist super, sehr zentral und doch nah zum Strand. Wir hatten ein Studio, welches bestens ausgestattet war. Den Spa und Fitnessbereich kann man kostenlos nutzen: vorallem der Fitnessbereich hat hier überzeugt.. sehr gute Ausstattung an Geräten. Im Wellnessbereich waren wir einmal im Indoorpool schwimmen. Eigentlich wollten wir die türkische Sauna benutzen, aber diese müssten wir selbst anmachen und es roch nicht sehr berauschend, daher ging es dann nur in die normale Sauna. Alles im allen war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Spa ist sehr renovationsbedürftig! Wasser und Raumtemperatur sehr kalt. Total überteuert, wenn man kein Hotelgast ist (25€ pro Person) Ist das Geld auf jedenfall nicht Wert.

Schöne Apartmentanlage mit sehr gut ausgestatteten Wohnungen. Uns fehlte uns eine Bar am Pool und das Restaurant war eher durchschnittlich. Die Lage ist super schön - der Strand einfach traumhaft! Sehr erholsam und empfehlenswert.

The hotel has a lovely appearance and the staff are very welcoming and friendly.
We had dinner there, which was very reasonably priced, though wasn't maybe as impressive as some of the other places we ate in in Lagos.
The primary reason we stopped by the hotel was for a massage, which was done by a freelance masseuse, I'd highly recommend her ☺

Uma estadia para uma família com 6 pessoas reservada à última hora... Não podíamos ter ficado melhor surpreendidos.
Ficámos no T3, com regime de meia pensão. Lindo e super bem equipado, com tudo o que é necessário. Piscinas por blocos, que evitam a sobrelotação. Para quem não gosta de piscina, a praia de Porto de Mós a um pequeníssima caminhada de distância.

Schönes Apparthotel, gute Ausstattung und gute Lage. Es hapert an vielen kleinen Dingen wie zu wenig Geschirr, Spültabs müssen bezahlt werden, Bidet vorhanden aber keine Handtücher dafür zur Verfügung. Der Service sollte verbessert werden.

Belmar Spa & Beach Resort is beautiful. It’s wonderful location on the cliff top of Porto de Mós Beach is perfect and if you have a room with a view you can enjoy great sunsets. The rooms are big and in pristine conditions. Food is great, mainly breakfast, which has lot of variety and great quality in everything. We had dinner once and it was also quite good. Parking is available which is great, especially if you go during summer time. We are definitely returning to Belmar!

Es gab alles was man brauch an Geräten. Wir hatten 2 Badezimmer, 2 Schöafzimmer, 2 Balkone Küche und Wohnzimmer. Es wurde jeden 2. Tag sauber gemacht. Kann ich nur empfehlen waren sehr begeistert davon, ist alles auch sehr modern eingerichtet.

Not Family Friendly
We found Belmar resort incredibly expensive for what you received. When you arrive there is no porter to show you where your apartment is and you pay additionally for everything including cot & high chair.
I think the thing that bothered me the most is that my toddler was told off numerous times even though she was been supervised.
A cleaner even told her off for looking at stones even though I was standing right next to her.
This made me feel rather unwelcome at the hotel.
I would not recommend this hotel for young families.

Nos hospedamos en un estudio muy amplio y aunque tenía vistas a la piscina estuvimos muy tranquilos. Great front desk staff, but they dropped the ball on my laundry service (after having the laundry for two days, they wound up bringing it back for my departure without it having been cleaned).

Lo mejor del hotel es la cercanía a la playa y las piscinas al aire libre.
Las instalaciones del spa son mejorables, algunos chorros de la piscina no funcionaban y faltaban azulejos en las paredes de la misma.
En cuanto al apartahotel, estaba todo muy limpio cuando llegamos, pero se olvidaron de ir a hacer la limpieza y a cambiar las toallas a mitad de la semana y aunque avisamos en recepción, no apareció nadie hasta el último día, así que tuvimos que limpiar y lavar las toallas, hasta tuvimos que comprar papel para el wc!!
En la cocina del apartamento no había cafetera, tuvimos que ir otra vez a recepción a pedirla y nos dijeron que en cuanto quedara una libre nos la llevarían.. Que mínimo que una cafetera por apartamento!
El Wi-Fi es gratuito pero la señal es muy débil en algunas zonas, incluso dentro del apartamento.
La comida del restaurante bastante normalita para el precio que tiene.
En resumen, esta bien pero podría estar mucho mejor.

Second time visit and still love it. Very friendly staff and well specified and clean apartments. Breakfast is good quality and well made but could do with a bit more variety. It never varies in content at all. Dinner buffet is decent but too expensive to justify. I would still recommend to families , couples and seniors alike. It's a good place for all. Quiet and clean and well maintained. They do need to sort out all the lights that don't work tho. Two years running and still encountering dark corridors etc.

Excellent location. The one-bedroom apartment is very spacious and ideal for a small family. Facilities in the apartment are complete (they even have stand mixer) and new. Balconies have beach view. Services are very friendly and helpful.

Wir sind hier bereits seit Jahren Stammgäste – bis hierher also schon mal vielen lieben Dank für bisher alles.
Leider ist es aber so, das lässt sich nicht mehr verstecken, das an der gesamten Anlage nunmehr sichtlich der Zahn der Zeit nagt. Eine Renovierung, im größeren Stil, zu mindestens ein neuer Anstrich wäre m.E. mehr als angebracht.

I had the most horrendous treatment and experience at the Belmar than I’ve had in any of the 41 countries I’ve been to & I have slept in some pretty shady places. We knew there was renovations going on but we were not prepared for the full on ant infestation that was in our room. When we reported it, Hugo the front desk clerk pretty much blamed us for not reporting it sooner (we had just arrived). Hugo was the rudest most unprofessional individual I have ever met and clearly he does not belong in the service industry. It was unfortunate first experience in Portugal because every other accommodation we stayed at was wonderful. Please please please save your time and money and stay anywhere else.

This is my 3rd time at Belmar Resort and Spa. This time around, my friends and I stayed at the 3 bedroom apartments. I loved the fact that everyone at the Resort was just super amazing and enthusiastic about their job. They went above and beyond. From the two older men at the bar to the restaurant staff, Sarah at the spa facilities who gave me a wonderful mother to be massage and the staff at the reception desk who helped me make arrangements for a booking at a restaurant for my birthday dinner.What I didn’t like is that before getting there, it took a while to get the resort to respond to emails. This does not include the spa as Sarah was on top of her game and responded to emails swiftly. This only relates to the general Belmar enquiries email. The other thing I didn’t like was the fact that the apartment needs some painting. The walls inside the apartment are scratched and definitely needs some painting in the inside. However, the resort is currently going through some renovations at the moment so it could be that this is already part of the plan.Other than these things my friends and I had an amazing time!

Great hotel, friendly staff, amazingly large apartments. Only the sauna is too small (you can't even lay there, the all over space in the sauna is capable of only around 8 people) and you have to go in there with clothes on (that's so weird and kept me away from going again). The wellness area and breakfast opened at 8. The inner pool was cleaned at 8:30 on one day - a pity. But the good things were more important.

hatten eine super zeit. die warmen pools sind erst ab 16 jahren zugänglich und somit konnten wir einen für uns wichtigen bereich nicht nutzen.
die schranktüren waren herausgerissen, es gab eine ameisenstrasse im wohnzimmer und die balkonmöbel waren alle kaputt. das personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. für den Preis hat mir persönlich etwas mehr pflege der appartments gefehlt. daher 3 sterne...

Very clean inside and outdoors, fairly modern, convenient location, but there was no coffee maker (even though it was advertised), and the one they eventually found for us leaked coffee all over the counter every morning for the duration of our 4 night stay, and they were unable to find us a replacement. Daily service included making the bed and giving us toilet pape, and some of the towels were replaced. They gave us no paper towels. I would stay there again but only if the price was right. It won't be my first choice.

We had a great time during our four night stay. The studio was plenty of space for a couple. It was in a safe location, walkable to a beach. I do wish the pools were heated because they were very cold, but otherwise nothing to complain about. We had one meal at the restaurant and it was very good.

Es ist eine schöne Anlage mit sehr vielen gratis Parkplätzen. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet. Der Strand kann in 2 Minuten zu Fuss erreicht werden. Das Personal ist freundlich und die Zimmer sauber. Einzig der Weg ins Lagos Zentrum ist etwas weit zu Fuss (ca. 30 min) aber schnell mit dem Auto (5 min).

Nice property within a 3-4min walk to the beach. This was one of the nicer beaches too because the sand was soft and the beach was big so you had more privacy. In comparison to Dona Ana where the beach had a lot of sharp shells and was too crowded. Room itself is clean but they only come in once to clean it. It was stocked with many necessities but things such as coffee you needed to buy. Very close to many attractions by car and the grocery store as well. Pool towel is provided BUT you may only change them the next day, no same day exchange. Parking is easy and free.

The location is nice but for the price you pay you would expect better service. You were not allowed to change your pool or room towels. If you wanted more towels you had to pay. The room did not include any face towels and the design of the shower caused water to leak but they would not give you additional bath mats to clean up the water leak. Due to the leaking the bathroom smelled musty. Again for the price you pay you would think the front desk woukd be fully staffed however often there was only one person and often they were grouchy as many people were waiting in line!! Two staff were really good. We paid $936 euros for 3 nights so for $300 per night you would think breakfast would be included and service would be stellar. We stayed in sao miguel in the azores for 4 nights and an amazing breakfast buffet was included and we could change our towels whenever we liked and all staff were akways pleasant

Fantastisch gelegene, bereits etwas in die Jahre gekommene Anlage. Appartement allerdings super ausgestattet und täglich gut gereinigt. Indoor Pool, Spa, Wellnesslandschaft mit Sauna und mehrere Outdoor Pools. Keine fünf Minuten bis zum wunderschönen Strand mit zwei Strandrestaurants mit jeweils fantastischem Meerblick und sehr gutem Essen. Im Hotel an den Poolanlagen sind ganztägig kleine und größere Snacks sowie Eis und verschiedene Kaffee-Varianten erhältlich. Mit dem Taxi ist man für 6 Euro im historischen Kern bzw. am Hafen von Lagos. Ein Punkt Abzug gibt's für einige Alterserscheinungen am Hotel selbst sowie dem zu kleinen Hotelrestaurant mit Frühstücks - und Abendbuffet. Die Qualität der Buffets ist in Ordnung aber nicht überragend.

Séjour très agréable. Les employés sont serviables et souriants. L'appartement était très propre ainsi que l'ensemble du resort. Il y a une très belle plage à quelques minutes à pied. Nous avons aimé utiliser les installations du spa. Aussi, nous sommes allés manger à quelques reprises pour le déjeuner et le souper. Le buffet et le service étaient excellents. C'est certain que nous retournerons à cet hôtel lors d'un prochain passage au Portugal.

The hotel and surrounding property is beautiful. Our room (studio, pool level) is nicely appointed and comfortable. I would disagree with prior reviews that state the hotel is in need of update or not comfortable. Its lovely. I would like to point out that one of the reasons we selected this hotel was because the property information noted there was a playground. There is no playground. This should be corrected. :(

Lagos is wonderful and so is the Belmar Resort. They have many outdoor pools and and indoor pool with a really cool hot tub area of 6 pools. The breakfast buffet is really good and the food overall is excellent. Very easy to take an Uber or taxi to downtown Lagos or other areas. We enjoyed out stay here and wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderful hotel, beautiful and well equipped appartments and spotlessly clean. Very near to Porto Mos beach. Each apartment has its own parking space and each block of appartments have their own pool. Just a €6 taxi fare brings you into Lagos town centre. Would definitely recommend!!

I wanted to really believe we were staying at a “beach resort” but the first thing that annoyed me was the check-in process with the stern warning from the front desk that we were being given 4 towel cards and if we lost any of the towel cards OR the towels we can exchange them for, that we would be charged 20 Euro per towel. Here I am after a 3 hour drive to their “resort”, spending all of this money to stay there and they’re trying to shake me down if I lose their towels. It felt unnecessarily tacky for a beach resort to do this to their guests. Then, when we tried to get towels at the only place that hands you these blue towels, there was nobody there to give us the towels. Then - when I was trying to check out at 4am while me wife and kids are sitting in the car waiting for me, I ask to check out and the guy says i can’t check out unless I run back to the room to show him either the towel cards or the towels themselves and if I cannot produce them, they will charge me 20 Euro. What is it with this place and their towels?!!
The hotel location is very close to the beach and the fact that there are 2 restaurants right on the beach closeby was a major plus.
The hotel itself does have its issues. I walked into the public bathroom near the pool and the faucets didn’t work when I turned them all on (one of them came off in my hand). In a different bathroom when I tried to dry my hands the dryer didn’t work. Little things like that make this place feel almost cheap.
We stayed 4 nights in one of the 3 story townhouses with a sun deck roof. The accommodations were nice although I will agree with the other reviewer that there are A LOT of buttons and switches in the rooms and some of them appear to do nothing.
Overall we had a good experience if you can look past the little annoyances and of course their obsession with towels.

We had a very successful stay at Belmar Resort this past June. We arrived after a long day of travel and lost luggage, but we were greeted by great staff who were extremely helpful in tracking down our luggage - they kindly provided us with the amenities we didn't have in the mean time.
The location is wonderful - steps away from the beach and a beautiful view of the ocean from the resort.
The spa is definitely worth visiting - beautiful and relaxing. We booked deep tissue massages and were both pleased.
We were unaware that there is only one restaurant and that the half board (breakfest/dinner) was buffet style, however we were very pleased with the quaility and variety of foods each day. The restuarant servers were very kind and always made our experience there great.
Finally, the rooms were wonderful - we were in a studio with a terrace patio looking onto the pool deck and it was beatiful. The rooms are very modern and have everything you need.
We'd recommend Belmar to anyone visitng the Lagos area!

Das Appartement war auf den ersten Blick sehr modern und groß. Bei den Preisen aber auch zu erwarten. Leider war es das dann auch schon. Das Personal hauptsächlich an der Rezeption sehr unfreundlich und pampig. Das Appartement ist sehr billig ausgestattet und die Handtücher, welche nur 2x die Woche ausgetauscht werden, nur einmal benutzbar, da sehr dünn und billige Qualität. Nach dem Wechsel hatte man nicht den Eindruck wirklich frische Handtücher bekommen zu haben. Sehr eklig. Das Hotel hat leider überall einen permanenten hohen Geräuschpegel sodass eine Erholung nicht möglich ist. Die Nähe zum Strand ist das einzige Plus.

Fantastic location on the West side of Lagos - just outside of the crowds but within striking distance of the restaurants, shopping, tours, etc. We did the package that includes Breakfast, which was a well stocked buffet including plenty of fruit, fresh pastries, three types of eggs, a lot of different meats, unlimited Cappuccinos. We had a rental car so went into town most nights for dinner, although there are two great restaurants about a five minute walk away right on the beach as well. We had a two bedroom/two bathroom apartment overlooking one of the pools with a partial view of the beach and ocean. Clean, spacious rooms. Plenty of space for us and two kids. Large living room/kitchen area as well. All appliances, even a clothes washer, were available right in the room. Gym facilities were great - free weights and some machines in great condition. It appeared that they may have some group classes available as well, although we didnt utilize them. As for the spa itself: great! Access to all the steam rooms, sauna, pools with massagers, etc was all included. A special shout out and Thank You to our friend Hugo at reception as well - he helped us arrange many dinners and tours as well as finding us just the right room. Great stay, we will be back!

If you want to spend 165 euros to stay in a dive, feel free! I would give this place negative stars, if I could.
We arrived to an exceptionally dirty room- stained sheets, dirty walls, holes in walls, dead bugs in lamp shade. We went to tell the front desk and were offered a new room, only to find that the sheets in the second room were also stained. We tried a third room, only to find the same thing.
We had one simple request- to have our money refunded so that we could stay elsewhere. There was a lot of arguing back and forth (forget customer service) and we were initially offered an upgrade for our room. After much contesting and back and forth, we were offered a spa treatment. Again, we were not satisfied with this, as all we really wanted was a refund to move to a more comfortable hotel. After, more emails and discussions with the girl who worked at the front counter (and told me she was unable to fulfill my request), they offered our first night free.
This place is completely over-rated and not worth the time, money, or effort. Would NEVER recommend it! Check out the photos below to see what you can get at a 4 star resort.

25,-€ are a too much for what you get. The water in the jacuzzi was quite cool, the Turkish bath didn’t have any light so we couldn’t go in and the experience showers were cold. Since it was raining we only stayed inside. To less to enjoy to stay a whole day there. We left after 3 hours. We don’t regret it but wouldn’t go again. Friendly staff.

Spacious resort in a great location just a few minutes walk from the Porto de Mos beach. Room was clean, spacious and very well equipped with a modern kitchen and all kind of stuff that comes with a kitchen. There was a nice pool and sunbed area with a great view over the Atlantic just outside my room. As the visit was during the low season there were tons of space available. I didn’t try the spa or the gym but from the outside the gym looked above average. There are excellent walking paths both to the east and to the west from the hotel, with stunning views over the Atlantic. You can also watch the sunset from many rooms in the hotel. Access by car was very smooth and the wifi was uncomplicated and worked excellent without interruption for my three day visit.All in all, this resort is highly recommended if You are visiting the beautiful town of Lagos.

Les fruits nétaient pas très murs, 2-3 petites patisseries sucrées toujours les même, confitures en barquette, yaourts, céréales et boissons ok. Salle pas très accueillante.Compte tenu du prix, à refaire je ferai mes courses et prendrai les petits déj sur ma terrasse, surtout quil y a tout ce quil faut dans la cuisine (four, bouilloire, grille pain etc..)Late check out possible si la chambre nest pas reprise sinon le spa est à disposition pour se changer, prendre une douche.Situation : Très bien situé à 30min à pied du centre, certes, mais il est au calme près dune plage peu fréquentée et où les portugais viennent le week end. Lorsque j'ai demandé l'heure de passage du ménage le portier m'a demandé en quoi cela m'intéressait ? Les portugais ce targuent d'avoir un Grand coeur, qu'ils commencent par parfaire leurs éducation.
Mais que fait la direction ? Elle encaisse 300€ par jour et fait la sourde oreille. Scandaleux pour un 4 étoiles.

Spiaggia vicinissima e bella. Dotato di palestra, spa con sauna e bagno turco, varie piscine con bar, idromassaggio. Molto consigliata. Da tornare.

Our stay was fantastic, everything was perfect. El hotel es espectacular, esta muy bien situado, en una zona tranquila y de confort. Dispone de gimnasio, spa y unos estudios inmensos con terracita. El único pero es que algunos mecanismos del spa no funcionan bien. En general, ha sido un sitio ideal.

Gutes Hotel an schönem Strand. Jedoch ist man auf ein Fahrzeug angewiesen. Es hat 2 Restsurants am Strand (reservieren nötig). Zum Teil muss man enorm lange auf ein Taxi für ins Zentrum warten. Es hat einen Bus, jedoch kann man nicht auf die angegebene Zeit gehen.

Eran nuestras primeras vacaciones con nuestra bebé de 7 meses y no hemos podido tener mejor experiencia. El apartamento comodísimo, limpísimo y con todo tipo de facilidades, al igual que las zonas comunes y piscinas. La playa a dos minutos caminando del hotel, está claro que volveremos.

Mycket trevligt ställe för en avslappnade stund för att återhämta sig. Du har mycket utrymme för sola och flera bassäng att välja mellan. Värd vid entrén kunde vara lite mer hjälpsammre och trevligare och kanske stället behöver moderniseras lite.

Wir hatten wunderbare 9 Tage im Belmar Spa Resort mit einem schönen Zimmer (Poolblick & Terrasse)! Das Hotel befindet sich nur ein 3-5 Minuten vom Strand entfernt und liegt direkt an einer Busstation, von wo man direkt zu anderen Stränden und in die Innenstadt von Lagos fahren kann. Das Hotel selber ist mit sehr schönen Pools ausgestattet, an denen man entspannt die Sonnenstrahlen genießen kann. Zum Abendbrot gibt es jeden Abend ein reichliches Buffet, welches jeden Abend unter einem anderen Motto (Spanisch, Italienisch etc.) steht und wenn man Halbpension gewählt hat, sind Softdrinks, Bier und Wein inbegriffen. Das Personal war stets höflich, freundlich und hilfsbereit.Alles in allem ein gelungenes Urlaubsziel, wenn man dem trüben Wetter in Deutschland entfliehen möchte.

Facility is in bad shape, hotel staff rude and not helpful and the food is horrible. No authentic Portuguese anywhere on the property (including the food).
Giving it 3 stars for location to Lagos and because the pool area was nice and the rooms were really big.
The hotel (or resort I should say- whatever that means) needs updated. Our room furniture was in bad shape. Our white leather couch was in horrible condition, the leather was ruined. Walls desperately needed paint. The shower had no water pressure and the room came with 0 amenities. Just some soap in a dispenser.
Service was bad. After a long day of traveling, we landed and waited to get our rental car and called the hotel to ask if they had food and until what time and the guy told me (in a raised voice) " this isn't a hotel. It's a resort! Do you even know what you booked?! We don't have room service or anything like that" basically told me to Eff off. Great start. Overall the staff seemed like they hated their job. No greetings or thank you's. Nothing. Asked them for postage to mail a postcard and they basically laughed at me. Our next hotel - alba suites down the coast was the opposite of this experience. I recommend staying anywhere else.

Estrutura e localização excelentes em Lagos! Café da manhã (pequeno almoço, como dizem em Portugal) concorrido e farto! Suíte composta por cozinha completa (inclusive com forno elétrico, máquinas de lavar louça e roupas). O ponto fraco está nas piscinas: a interior, excessivamente quente, e as exteriores, cujo uso conta com limitações para crianças desacompanhadas, são geladas. A pequena academia (ginásio) satisfaz e é maior do que a média, com aparelhos de qualidade e boa vista para piscina. O hotel está a poucos passos de uma bonita praia e não muito distante do centro e do acesso a praias famosas, como a do Camilo e Dona Ana. Vá conhecer a praia do Barranco!

The hotel is finished to a very high standard, we had the 2 bedroom apartment, overlooking the pool and sea. The decor was beautiful. The hotel has 4 pools, certain times were busy by the pool but never too bad that you couldnt get a sun lounger.Cocktail of the day is €3.50 all day and theres a happy hour between 6pm-7pm on alcohol and soft drinks.I didnt eat any meals there, as we cooked and ate out in Lagos every night. Suitable for families, couples, trips with friendsIt is literally right on the beach Praia do mos (2 min walk).Its not far from Lagos town centre, probably a 30 min walk but we always got a taxi which was €5 (the hotel books it for you, or there are a couple of Ubers). Apartment was fully equipped with cutlery, utensils, dishwasher/washing machine/stove. nearest shop was about 10-15 min walk awayI would definitely recommend and come back!

Da migliorare la colazione, mancano i frutti secchi. Poca scelta di altri prodotti come pane, marmellate, miele. Da migliorare anche l'accesso al mare (dovrebbero creare una strada interna all'hotel). Dovrebbero occuparsi anche delle valigie all'arrivo e alla partenza. Gli appartamenti sono molto belli. Mancano solo i klinex nei bagni. Manca anche un po' di luce nell'area reception.

Belmar Spa & Beach Resort dit is echt verreweg het allerbeste apparthotel/resort wat wij de afgelopen jaren in Portugal hebben meegemaakt.
Wij hebben onze huwelijksreis van 16 dagen gehad hier en kunnen geen enkel min puntje ontdekken en raden iedereen die van rust en een relaxte, luxe vakantie houdt dit resort aan.
Vooraf hadden wij aangegeven dat dit onze huwelijksreis werd en daar zijn ze van het Resort uit erg goed op ingesprongen.
Zo was er bij aankomst ons bed zeer leuk opgemaakt met handdoeken gevouwen alsof het zwaantjes waren met allerlei rozen blaadjes en bloempjes er om heen en kwamen ze nadat we in de kamer aangekomen waren een flinke fles champagne langs brengen met een zeer attent kaartje van de resort manager Paula Borges.
Daarnaast hadden wij een extreem groot appartement op de 3e verdieping toegewezen gekregen waar standaard alles op en aan zit zoals een grote Amerikaanse koelkast, een grote diepvriezer,inductie kookplaat 4 pits, wasmachine en droger, vaatwasmachine strijkbout en strijkplank een gepersonaliseerde televisie en een fatsoenlijk droogrek een grote eettafel met 4 stoelen een grote relax bank met liggedeelte en automatische rolluiken om de woonkamer en slaapkamer goed te kunnen verduisteren.
De slaapkamer is apart van de woonkamer die beiden echt zeer ruim zijn, en ook beide voorzien zijn van perfect werkende airconditioning.
Daarnaast is er een erg groot balkon met een grote eettafel en 4 stoelen.
Dit Resort biedt diverse uitstekende faciliteiten zoals de naam al zegt een complete spa met heel veel verschillende soorten massages waar we gebruik van hebben gemaakt.
Ze hebben een redelijk groot, rustig en kwalitatief perfect restaurant en cocktailbar en bieden ze de gehele dag door roomservice aan vanuit het restaurant en cocktailbar tegen een kleine vergoeding van €5,-
Daarnaast is het ontbijt zeer uitgebreid en is er heel erg veel keus uit diverse soorten vers en schoongemaakt en gesneden fruit, diverse soorten ei en heel veel keus aan brood en zoetigheid zoals donuts en cakes echt heel veel keus.
De mensen die er werken zijn uiterst vriendelijk en attent en de kamers worden elke dag schoongemaakt, daarnaast was onze kamer zeer schoon en hygiënisch. Geen vlekje op de muur en geen schimmel randje in de badkamer te bekennen.
Al met al is dit eigenlijk voor Nederlandse maatstaven een 5 sterren resort maar het wordt als 4 sterren beoordeeld.
Wij hadden absoluut niets te klagen en voelde ons er erg verwend.

Great resort just a short walk from Mos Beach (beautiful). The staff was nice and attentive and the room was spacious and clean with a huge patio! We mainly hung out by the pool with ocean views but I know they have other pools there. It was really nice with a great view! The resort is just a 3-4 minute drive to the grocery store. Another 6 min or so and you are at Camilo and Dona Anna beach and also Ponta da Piedade which are all must sees when in Lagos. About 10 min or so by car and you are in downtown Lagos. Besides the resort restaurant which we did not use there are 2 restaurants by the beach just a few steps away. We ate at both multiple times and sat outside looking at the ocean. They had awesome fresh seafood and decent priced wine bottles.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights - everything was perfect.The one and only thing that needs to be improved is the opening time of the fitness room. From my point of view opening at 9 is too late and shut down at 20 is to early. Sauna and steam bad are only allowed is with clothing (quit strange) You can walk to the beach in 3 mins and a lot of parking slots are available. The stuff was 100% service orianted and very very kind. We would def recommend to stay here some nights.

Location is pretty. Concept interesting. Spa really cool looking. However, water was cold in the indoor pools. And some areas of the facility need updating. The lower level where we staying felt like we were sleeping in a creepy basement.

Im Januar ist zwar keine Reisezeit zum Baden, dafür ist es im Hotel und drumherum angenehm ruhig, nicht so überlaufen und man kann angenehm Sonne tanken.

Perfect location for the holiday with small children. We had a room with two bedrooms, a kitchen and living room. In the mornings we checked out the local towns and sights and in the afternoon walked to the local beaches. We often bought food at the local markets and prepared dinner for the kids in the room. We enjoyed the pools and gym facilities.

nos sorprendió por lo grande y moderno. Tiene todo tipo de comodidades, aire acondicionado en habitaciones y salón , cocina muy moderna, dos baños muy espaciosos y gran terraza con mobiliario para disfrutar de la cena o comida. Piscina privada y parking gratuito. Justo al lado de la bonita plata del puerto de Mos. Muy recomendable

Wir haben schöne Tage in einem wunderschönen Appartment mit 2 Schlafzimmern verbracht. Die Anlage verfügt über diverse Aussenpools, ein Hallenbad, eine Sauna und ein türkisches Dampfbad zur Gratisbenützung. Die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und hilfreich, z.B. bei der Reservation von Tischen in externen Restaurants.

Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen. 2015 waren wir dort und fühlten und sehr wohl. Die Zimmer sind groß, gut ausgestattet und sauber. Das Essen ist sehr gut, zumindest wenn man Abends kein Buffet bekommt, sondern a la cart essen kann. Der Wellness Bereich wird leider sehr schlecht gepflegt und ist nicht mehr zu empfehlen. Die Nähe zum richtig guten Strand ist heraus zu heben.

Jättefina stora lägenheter med bra standard. Hjälpsam personal.Lite långt från centrum men nära en av de fina stränderna.Dock hade vi problem med transferbussen till flyget från Faro- hade missat avgången om det inte var försenat!

Das Belmar ist ein Aparthotel an der Praia de mos. Wir hatten ein 2 Schlafzimmer-Appartement im 2. Stock mit schönem Blick auf die Bucht und das Meer (200m entfernt). Das Appartement war top eingerichtet mit kompletter Küche, 2 Bäder, 2 Schlafzimmer und großem Aufenthaltsraum. Auch der Balkon war groß und mit Tisch und 4 Sessel. Klimaanlage in allen Räumen. Ein gutes Frühstücksbüfett wird um €11,-- angeboten. In das Zentrum nach Lagos sind es rund 2km, daher ist ein fahrbarer Untersatz zu empfehlen. Kostenloser Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage. Tolle Pools mit Aussicht. Einzig die Liegen am Pool müssten erneuert werden.

En general bastante bien.Buena ubicación ,a 2 minutos de la playa Porto de Mos,agua cristalina.Habitaciones excelentes,a poco distancia de Lagos.Como punto negativo,la poca amabilidad del personal de recepción.Hasta la 16.00 no nos dejaron entrar en la habitación ,además de que las formas de la recepcionista no fueron las adecuadas.Desayuno muy sencillo a mejorar.

Clean, modern resort. Loads of pools, gym small but modern and clean.
Not too noisy and very relaxed. You need to make your own fun here, but that's fine by us. If you're after enteraining, it's not for you. Restaurant/bars good and not too pricey.
Near the beach which has a small kids playground as well.

Un resort espectacular:
Estuvimos en un piso de 2 dormitorios, cocina, un salón enorme, 2 baños y dos terrazas.
Desde la terraza se podía acceder a una de las piscinas del resort. En total hay 5 (una de ellas climatizada con SPA y saunas).
Teníamos media pensión (desayuno y cena obligatorio). El bufet tiene buena calidad, pero no tienen mucha variedad.
La playa se encuentra al final de la calle, se tarda 5 minutos en llegar.

The apartments are great, brand new with fully equipped kitchen, great living room, two big bath rooms and bedrooms. Also swimming pools are very good. Facilities such as the bar, the dining rooms for breakfast and dinner, etc. do not really spread a warm athmosphere but personnel is very friendly and always helpful.
