Fabulous meal, one of the best Indian restaurant meals we have ever had, except in India! Fresh ingredients and great flavours

I have been visiting Burgau frequently year after year since 2004. There are three indian restaurants,one which is on the way to Salema,the other two are in Burgau. I walked pass the Red Fort many many years and did not like to give it a try because of the simple atmosphere (no nice lighting,no charming interior) - BUT many people had told me they had very good food there,so i gave it a try today and omg - I shouldn t have prejudiced that place because of the way it looks.It has been by far the best indian dinner ever and from now on i will go there first choice to get indian take-away! I had a vegeterian dish with eggplant curry and coconut rice and it was just absolutely tasty! Don t miss it!

There are two Indian restaurants in the town. Unfortunately this one is losing the battle a little bit. Despite this fact food is good and the staff are very nice. I recommend this restaurant.

I have heard both good and bad about this place, but our experiance was a bit dissapointing. The service was good, they are very friendly and nice. But The food was the worst indian food we have had in a very long time. Rice was dry, lamb curry was tasteless and tikka massala not well balanced in flavours as I am used to (have eaten a bit of indian food in my days). Flavouring did not feel fresh ... On the other hand a family friend loves the lamb curry and raved about it the other night, so I guess we have different preferences. Maybe worth trying, but I will never go back.

New Owners,& we had a great time on Friday night,the food was lovely & the staff charming.A good job has been done on the refurbishment. Give it a go.

Had a takeaway last night which was one of the best I have eaten in my 30 years of visiting Burgau. My Tandoori chicken was beautiful and spiced perfectly. And my main of Lamb Chilli Masala was so good I wished I had saved a bit for today. I had heard good things about the new management and I found this to be totally justified. If they continue with this standard of cooking they should become very busy.
