En ljuvlig liten stad med dockskåpskänsla. Trots en renoverad touch var det gamla smakfullt bevarat.

Nice quaint fishing village which is very small but very charming. There are a few cobbled streets and shops to explore. Also a beach and castle. There is enough here to keep you entertained for a few hours. Definitely worth a visit if you are staying in the near vicinity as a day trip.

Süße kleine Altstadt, touristisch, aber sehenswert. Zu dem Großen Portimão wirkt es wie ein verschlafenes Dörfchen. Mit Pferdekutschen und vielen alten Häusern kann man das typische Fischerdorf hier entdecken.
Jeden zweiten Sonntag im Monat ist hier Flohmarkt.

Ferragudo is a small fish town on the River Arade. Get a boat at the Portimão Marina to go up the in the River Arade and cross it to reach Ferragudo. There are local restaurants with fresh fish and snack cafés. Find the perfect souvenir shopping on the small streets of Ferragudo.

Ferragudo hat eine kleine, aber nette Altstadt. Die kleinen Gassen laden zum bummeln ein, viele Bars und Restaurants mit guenstigen Preisen bieten die Moeglichkeit zur Rast. man geniesst die typische portugiesische Architektur bit blick auf den Ria.Sollte man besichtigt haben.

Das alte Fischerstädtchen Ferragudo ist eines meiner Lieblingsziele an der südlichen Algarve, malerisch liegt der Ort am Ufer des Arade und die Fischerboote im Wasser (oder Schlamm bei Ebbe) vermitteln ein Bild das alten Portugal - wenn da nur die deplatziert wirkende Skyline von Portimão am anderen Aradeufer nicht wäre. In FERRAGUDO gibt es kleine Gassen zum Bummel und ein Blick auf die Igrea de Ferragudo mit Blick zum Castelo de Arade lohnt auch. Am Arade selber gibt es mehrere gute Fischrestaurants wo der Fisch auf Holzkohle gegrillt wird.

Gezellig en historisch plaatsje recht tegenover Portimao. Prima visrestaurants aan de wateroever. Ook groot terrein voor de camperaars (gratis) op loopafstand. Zijn hier vaak geweest en zullen er nog vaak komen ook.

Picturesque ancient quarter.At the waterfront there are some excellent restaurants. To reach the old church you have to climb some stairs but you will have a fantastic view over the bay and little port of Portimão

Ferragudo é lindissimo e sossegado. Tem praias lindas de postal. Parece que estamos noutro algarve. Para mim ferragudo e carvoeiro são dos sítios mais bonitos do algarve.
Gosto tanto que comprei casa de férias à três anos.

Leuk vissersplaatsje aan zee. Je vis wordt uit het bootje recht op de BBQ gelegd, terwijl je wacht om hem op te eten, bij een heerlijk glaasje wijn uit de Algarve.
Ook mooi centraal pleintje met diverse cafés en restaurants. Hogerop ligt een kerkje dat zeker de klim waard is.

I loved this small fishing village. They have a nice square with restaurants and coffee shops. Good to stop, have a cup of coffee or a meal. The walk through the village had character and charm and the tile work on some of the old buildings was beautiful. There is a castle but I didn't have time to visit. Would be worth spending a couple days here.

Across the bay from Portimau, not so touristy, lots of hillside alleyways to explore all the way up to the church and viewpoint. Also home to the totally amazing Studio Bongard.

Small fishing village with a nice square full of bars, cafes and restaurants with friendly service, highlights include deja vu art shop and studio bongard, the former filled with unusual gifts and the latter a little oasis of ceramic and hand drawn art with a waterfall and roof terrace - wonderful!!!

This lovely restaurant in the harbour will bring your fresh fish out and then you can see it being prepared in the BBQ right by the sea. It's delicious and a total treat. It's a little haven of relaxation. The water taxi will take you across to Portomaio or Praha de Roche if you want to explore further.

É uma antiga aldeia piscatória de Ferragudo, é um dos locais de destino favoritos no Algarve, pitoresco o lugar.
Tomar um copo e apreciar a aldeia, é simplesmente magnífico.
Obrigatório uma visita ao local.
