Super rando, paysages et grottes époustouflantes

The best (and in some cases, only) way to see the spectacular scenery of Ponte Piedade. The staff are so friendly and clearly take pride in showing the stunning landscape of their home. An absolute must for any visiting Lagos. High tide best, apparently, so plan accordingly!

Awesome paddle. Don't let someone take you out in a big diesel boat for 15 minutes in a kayak. kayak out yourself with these guys! Nice gear and a nice time.

Had a great afternoon of paddling and cave exploring. Jorges was an excellent guide and very entertaining. The caves were fantastic and well worth the effort. Organizing and booking was easy with Carly speaking English.

From the friendly greeting on the phone (Carly) to the engaging and patient guide (Jorges) we had a fantastic day with the kids (ages 11 & 13). It's a bit of a workout so not for those who aren't capable of a bit of exertion but kayaking is easy to pick up and with some helpful tips from your guide before setting off, inexperienced but enthusiastic paddlers will be fine. My son "can be a bit of a grump" and was inventing ailments that would prevent him enjoying the trip but half way through, even he (without prompting) said that it was "so much fun". The scenery is stunning and you get into spots most boats can't. Well worth doing. Waterproof bags are a nice touch and the beach stop for a swim before getting towed back was cool. That said, the snorkeling wasn't the best, didn't appear to be much to see and all of the fish seemed to be the same colours as the rocks... and although they provide you with masks there are no fins or snorkels (so is it really snorkeling?) so if that's important to you, bring your own. Great price relative to the other kayak trips too! Thanks for a memorable family experience.

Es tracta d'un tour molt interessant i ens ho hem passat molt bé. Per desgracia hi havia onades avui i no hem pogut fer la parada a una platja, sino que hem fet una parada al mar per poder fer una mica de snorkling. El que no m'ha agradat del tour ha estat que a l'hora d'agafar els kayaks no ens han donat cap explicació sobre com colocar el respatller i ens hem hagut d'espabilar per descubrir-ho. Simplement ens han dit que cadascu agafes un kayak. Una altre cosa que no m'ha agradat ha estat la tornada a la platja ha estat una mica caotica ja que no tothom ha sentit que haviem de arrivar de front o d'esquena fins la sorra. No som experts i hem arrivat lateralment a la sorra i les onades quasi ens tomben. Per altre banda, al posar el peu a terra, la força del mar ha fet que el meu kayak anes contra un altre que estava a la sorra, tot aixo amb la meva cama al mitg. Per sort no m'he fet mal. El meu fill, que anava en un altre kayak ha tingut menys sort i un kayak que arrivava li ha fet una petita ferida a la cama. Finalment, comentar que hem pagat 30€ per persona pero no ens han donat cap ticket.

The best way to get the caves and beaches. I recommend to check wind and sea conditions in advance. You have to paddle only one way. The views are amazing.

On nous avait vendu 2h30 de kayak mais on en a fait que 2h. Il vaut mieux prévoir son masque et la pause pour le snorkeling est assez courte. Malgré tout c'était sympa à faire et les paysages sont juste magnifiques et rien que pour ça, je vous le recommande. Nous avons payé 30€ et ça ne vaut pas plus ! Il vaut mieux le faire en kayak qu'en bateau

Muy recomendable, buen recorrido. La mejor forma de hacer esta ruta y visitar las cuevas y paisajes. A la vuelta parada en playa de la piedad para descansar y reponer fuerzas, el resto de camino te trasladan ellos. Sin duda, volvería a repetir.

We've been to sunset run staring at 18, all was organised very good, beautiful caves and scenes guaranteed, on the way back it was a little cold, but overall impression is extremely awesome)

Tolle Kayak Tour, wir hatten riesig viel Spaß

Le tour dure 2h30. Le matériel est en bon état. Le guide était sympathique mais les infos n'étaient pas toujours indispensables... On fait surtout le tour pour voir les sublimes caves de la côte, où on se croirait dans un décor de cinéma. Une pause afin de faire un peu de snorkeling est prévue (mais sans tuba...). Au final, on aimerait pouvoir faire le tour à sa guise, on a un peu l'impression d'être dans un tour organisé, mais ce que l'on voit est tellement beau... On se fait remoquer à la fin donc ce n'est même pas fatiguant. Complétez l'expérience avec une ballade depuis les hauteurs.

Muy agradable. Remas cerca de 1 hora y media (no se requiere gran forma física), después hay descanso en una playa en la que puedes bucear (ellos te prestan las gafas) y la vuelta te remolcan con una lancha (un gustazo). 35 euros bien invertidos. Muy recomendable para poder ver toda la zona.

Several Kayak tours start here, next to each other, small difference in doing a stop-over at one of the beaches for 30 min. The tour is great, beautiful caves and rock formations, our guide told a few stories on the different locations but with 4 tours per day, it becomes a bit the same for him and it shows. They start with asking whether everybody knows how to handle a kayak and then quickly move on, but most people don't actually know how to handle a kayak and at sea near rocks a bit more attention should be given. They have watertight bags available for bigger stuff and a small one for your camera or mobile phone. You can only use this when it is in-between paddling or you easily run the risk of dropping it into the water. A lot of kayaks are in the water, since all 4 tours start roughly at the same time, can be crowded but doesnt feel unsafe. Only a few motorboats here, very different from near Benigal and Albufeira, there you feel that the kayaks are being run over by motorboats.

Kajakken is prachtig langs de grotten en rotsen bij Lagos. Organisatie was echter drama. We werden onvriendelijk en ongeïnteresseerd opgewacht, kregen geen uitleg waarom we zo lang moesten wachten voor vertrek, voorbereiding kwam amateuristisch over, uitleg over kajakken was zeer beperkt (wij waren ervaren, maar de rest niet wat resulteerde in dat zij allemaal minimaal 1 keer waren omgeslagen), gids Philip had er totaal geen zin in en zijn uitleg was zeer beperkt. Daarnaast het gepresenteerde snorkelen als onderdeel van van de tour was er helemaal niet... Kortom, aanrader om te doen want het is prachtig, maar niet met deze organisatie. Kies een andere organisatie, er is keuze genoeg!

Achtung!!!! Der sogenannte Guide ist ein bekiffter Teenager der keine Ahnung von irgendwas hat. Die einzige Aussage von ihm war „das ist mein Lieblingsstrand“. Fie Grottentour war furchtbar, da wir mit 12 Kayaks in die Höhle gefahren sind und uns dann auch noch Motorboote gefolgt sind. Offensichtlich ist der Konkurrenzkampf enorm und ohne Rücksichtnahme. Zudem ist alles unorganisiert und nichts wird erklärt. Das Ganze ist nicht einen Cent wert!!!!

Buen trato, buenos guías y con servicio de recogida cuando ya terminaste un barco te recoge y te llevan a Puerto. La excursión preciosa cerca de tres horas de ruta. Te aconsejo que vayas con la marea alta.

Tour sehr zu empfehlen. Man kommt an Orte, die man mit einem Ausflugsboot nicht erreicht. Es gibt Anfangs eine kurze Einführung, wirklich schwer ist es nicht, wir würden es jederzeit wieder machen. Unser Guide war klasse. Den Strandstop zwischendurch macht man leider an einem kleinen sehr überfüllten Strand.

Reservamos nuestro tour a través de su página web y nos cobraron “gastos de gestión”. Cuando llegamos vimos que la mayoría de la gente contrataba el tour allí directamente, pagando menos que nosotros y retrasando mucho la salida. En todo momento nos pareció que estaban muy mal organizados, dando mínima información. A última hora decidieron hacer dos grupos. Salimos 15 minutos tarde. El briefing fue demasiado corto y había gente sin experiencia que no recibió información adecuada. Nos dieron material inadecuado, siendo los remos demasiado cortos, lo cual hizo el viaje muy incómodo. El tour es más corto de lo anunciado!! Tienen un mapa con la actividad, pero luego se da la vuelta en el Cabo (mitad del recorrido anunciado!) La actividad tiene mucho potencial, pero se queda corta. Si tienes experiencia en kayak, mejor considera otra empresa que ajuste la actividad a la experiencia del cliente. We booked our tour through their website and they charged us "management fees". When we arrived we saw that most of the people booked the tour there directly, paying less than us and delaying the departure a lot. At all times we thought they were very poorly organized, giving minimal information. At the last minute they decided to make two groups. We left 15 minutes late. The briefing was too short and there were people without experience who did not receive adequate information. They gave us inadequate material, being the paddles too short, which made the trip very uncomfortable. The tour is shorter than advertised !! They have a map with the activity, but then we turned around at the Cape (half the route announced!) The activity has a lot of potential, but it turn out to be disappointing. If you have experience in kayaking, consider another company that adjusts the activity to the customer expertise.

Very disorganised. Paid a reservation in Praia Dona Ana, had to run to this point with no indication from the staff and risked missing the last set of kayaks (no refunds possible). Once there, I had to wildly park the car with bare supervision, got a E10 off because they had miscalculated the canoes (in the end E25 to only sit on the motorboat thus missing all the sights) and almost got hit by a fight between the staff members. One person price E35 - I'd rather go somewhere else the next time

El guía era la persona más vaga y gorda que te puedas echar a la cara, al finalizar la excursión nos dejaron tirados en medio del mar mientras ellos fumaban en la lancha, la cual era conducida por un tal Iron soldier que no paraba de hacer el mongolo todo el recorrido levantando olas, por lo demás más te vale saber remar en plan experto porque si eres principiante es rollo sobreviva quien pueda. Tirar 30 euros

Increible!! Para mi la mejor actividad que hicimos en los dias que estuvimos en portugal. El paseo entre las calas de lagos es impresionante, el trato del personal buenisimo, el monitor muy amable. Si vuestra actividad física lo permite no podéis dejar de hacer esta actividad. No cansa y es muy bonito.

Very nice kayaking trip through the caves with a local relaxed and cool guides, that provided small bites of info about the caves and a pleasant chat along the way! Although we started a bit late, we didn't feel like we missed out anything. Included a 20min stop for swimming and snorkeling at a beach. 35€ per person (booked via an intermediator we found at one of the shops in town).

Nos lo pasamos genial en el turno de la puesta de sol, nunca imaginamos que podían ser tan impresionantes las cuevas de Punta da Piedade. La gente de kayak explorers un 10.
