You can buy several different local products there. Large choice of seafood products. Nice building architecture.

Nice for a visit to say you've been but very little that isn't available in street markets - some genuine handmade items etc. PS watch out for falling iron support bars as one fell on my head.!!!

Terrific market. On Saturdays vendors are set up inside and out. Bring your best Portuguese and an appetite. Great treats at the market and cafes near by.
