We had a leisurely lunch here at the end of our holiday. Good choice of food. If you choose to have the cover/s then to have a starter is perhaps a little too much. They will bring a selection of covers to choose so you can have them all which is great but the cost does escalate so be aware. Pick the ones you want. The selection of wine is reasonably comprehensive. Ask the waiter for help. We had a good quality red which was light enough for lunch. Mains were excellent. Chicken with Clams for me whilst my wife had O Tanque Steak. See pictures. Lovely to sit outside. Worth a visit

Great food, exceptional service. Try the black sausage to start - lovely! Shared a meat and seafood cataplana - was delicious. Kids meals decent size and good price. Good wine advice on hand and a lovely port to finish.

Found this by accident - and what a happy accident. One of the best meals we've ever had (party of 10 incl 2 kids) and excellent atmosphere and service. Great with the kids (5 and 3), too and the value was astonishing. Will definitely be coming back!
Update 12/4: we came back for our final meal in Portugal and it was just as good. One of the best restaurants I've visited for food, value, atmosphere and service. Real pleasure.

A very fortuitous find whilst looking for a place to feed our large family group. Wonderful food, brilliant friendly service from such friendly and attentive staff.
And really good value too.
Definitely a new favourite eating establishment. We will be back.

Boa qualidade, staff simpático mas com preços acima da media (Para 3 pessoas, pagámos acima de 70 euros por 3 bifes 1 garrafa de água grande e 2 cafés).

Lovely place and really nice staff! Menu was good, food was really good. Big variety in sea food, and in drinks and desserts too! All our food tasted great. Will definitely go back.

Não se pode apenas pagar a localização seria preciso mais qualidade para os preços praticados...
O óleo que tinha o peixe devia dar para fritar uma baleia.
Muito mau mesmo.
No final, porque devem ter reconhecido a má confecção, só me cobraram 1 prato

Se falar em francés ou em inglés será bem atendido pelo que vimos, se falar em portugués, o serviço é para esquecer. Era um restaurante que iamos várias vezes mas não volto mais. A invasão turistíca fez perder o bom serviço que tinham. E nem falo dos preços que aumentaram, e muito... E péna

Restaurante tranquilo onde se pode deliciar boa comida portuguesa com um atendimento familiar a um preço bastante razoável. Não é um restaurante top mas a relação preço qualidade quase que é. A repetir sem dúvida.

Charming, rustic and inviting. Warm service and great food. A very cosy setting indeed. A bit pricier than expected but highly recommended.

2nd time, very unique. If you can sit outside under cover then do that. Great selection of couverts. The sizzling black sausage is worth a try as is the goats cheese drizzled with jam and nuts, they cost more but an experience.
The fish is excellent. If you want meat then the "tanque" beef is great, served with an egg on top.
Finished with a selection of " on the house" liqueurs"
