Amazing food !! Had the mixed grill plate , loved it ! Authentic food. Nice atmosphere. A little bit outside the touristic area, but the few extra steps worth it !!!

Petit restaurant qui ne paye pas de mine vue de l’extérieur mais qui vaut le détour.
Cuisine maison avec des ingrédients frais.

If I lived in Lagos, this would be my favorite haunt. Even though it's near the main drag near the marina, it's tucked away and cozy. The decor is really fun. The staff is friendly and funny. The food was pretty good and it's awesome to be able to smell your dinner cooking on the grill. And the meal had a perfect ending with some port handed to us by the manager, who happens to be quite the character.

3rd time here and is by far the most authentic grill in Lagos...food amazing set against the background of an 80s vibe. Not to be missed!!!

Arribale has decent food but a little pricey for the quality of food you can get elsewhere in Lagos. Also, the drink menu is limited so be prepared for that. This is a cash only spot. I had to run to the ATM before we ordered to make sure we enjoyed the meal.

This spot is awesome and the team working there are even better. I highly recommend eating here! Get the fish of the day and the prawns!

We sat on the patio and the food and atmosphere was lovely. One of the best meals that I’ve had in Lisbon! It’s tucked away from the busy streets with more tourists too so it’s more authentic and great value for the quality.

A hidden gem just on the back street of all the restaurants on the main drag. The staff were cheerful and friendly, and the place has a great atmosphere. The food is barbequed on an open grill next to the entrance, and our dishes were all very delicious. May recommend both the large garlic prawns, the ribs and the blackened porc. We'll be back.

Un restaurante regentado por unos ingleses en el centro de Lagos. La cocina es típica con buenas tapas y centrada en una barbacoa que está a la vista en la entrada del restaurante. Muy agradecer que te den de cenar hasta tarde porque muchos de los sitios cierran a las 22. Hay una especie de chorizo flambeado que es necesario pedir.

Diese eigentliche Highlight sind der Chef und die Mitarbeiter. Die sind einfach total cool, was den Besuch einfach schön gemacht hat. Aber gegessen jagen wie natürlich trotzdem. Ich hab fast jedes Mal gegrillten Fisch gegessen, weil ich den einfach sehr sehr lecker fand. Aber auch der Rest kam frisch vom Grill und ist zu empfehlen. Guten Appetit.

Todo lo que probamos riquísimo y a buen precio. El pescado del día era una dorada espectacularmente cocinada y sin raspas, muy buena opción el plato de queso y los champiñones al ajo. Buena atención y sitio pequeño pero muy bonito y ambientado. Recomendado. Para quienes buscan probar los sabores del Algarve.

Well worth the visit to this lovely restaurant for our meal for 3 people.
Had the tapas as a starter, which were fairly basic then fish which was excellent. One person had steak which trent said was fantastic!
Not a huge wine selection but not needed! We had a bottle at €18.50 which was excellent then a glass of the house which was just as good
Really friendly staff.
Cash only!

Off the bat, the food is amazing. But even better is the staff. Ask for Ken, but everyone working here comes from around the world, and are the nicest group of people we've met in Portugal.

Un Resto anglais en fait... Tenu par des anglais, fréquenté par des anglais, et malheureusement la cuisine est plus de qualité anglais que portugaise. Le poisson était bon: mais faire griller un poisson n'est pas très compliqué. Cher.

Friendly staff, made us feel like they were welcoming us in to their home and treated us like family. Our waiter even introduced us to another couple sitting at the table across from us. Wonderful food and wine - it was delicious and fresh.

Kommen seid Jahren im Urlaub immer wieder hier her. Super lecker Essen, am liebsten das Filet vom schwarzen Schwein und als Dessert das Algarve Chocolate . Besser geht nicht, dazu faire Preise.

Such a lovely welcome!we booked for the following night on the spur of the moment walking past..wow.so glad we did.felt like a restraunt that cares deeply that people enjoy their meals & relax.i wish we had been in town longer cos we certainly would've revisited.i had a sea bream main course, hubby had the lamb chops.i tried his plate too.wow.tender abd flavoursome.agreed the best we have had!!
To top it off..we got to have the cheese platter for afters.happy days

Un super moment serveurs, cuisinier et patron au top ! Au détour d'une ruelle peu touristique je vous conseille vivement de vous arrêter dans ce lieu où le cuisiner tiens ces promesses. Viandes et poissons frais cuits en cheminée, ou chaque client compte

It's difficult to be attended properly if the staff is drinking heavily. One of the waiters went nice and he warned us that we'd have to wait
but another became disrespectful. That's not what you should get when you're spending money on holidays. You should give a thought about what makes your living and respect others and yourselves.

You live in South East London, you are quite good at producing BBQ food and like a bit of sunshine. Maybe you could add a Southern European twist. This might not be the basis for a normal business model but for Arribale it works perfectly. Great little restaurant serving simply cooked food perfectly.
No idea if the business model description is correct but hey ho.

Beautifully atmospheric and picturesque little restaurant overlooking the Marina. The staff were incredibly accomodating, but service throughout the night was slow (understandably with how busy they were). The food we had was nice, but unfortunately they ran out of the fish of the day which would have been fine if they had another main fish option (one of us is a pescatarian) but they didn't, so we ended up having a selection of starters instead. The Prawns were fantastic. We would definitely come back here but book a little earlier in the evening.

Lovely and cozy restaurant in the center of Lagos.
The first night we went was sold out and we didn’t get a table, so if you want to go better book in advance!
The food was delicious, we had garlic prawns as starter and a huge grilled sea bass (only 22 euro) as a main that was divine!
At the entrance of the restaurant there is the outside BBQ and you can see the chef cooking your food.
The staff is nice, helpful and always smiling.
The atmosphere with ‘70 and ‘80 music playing make it the perfect place to chill after a long day at the beach.
I’ll go back tomorrow before leaving Lagos!

We were there on Saturday, 20 July. It was a really good experience all round. The food was of very good quality, we had the meat sharing platter, and the house wine was ideal. We swapped the cheese starter for after our main meal and it was no problem. The service and ambience was very good and although a very small restaurant one of the best we have dined in this holiday. We would strongly advise you to book ahead as it's very popular. We're already booked to go back.

First visit today. My husband had the spare ribs - meat very tasty and very tender. Chicken breast lovely - no complaints. Desserts of homemade lime cheesecake and chocolate brownie finished off the evening. A lovely eclectic mix of background music which included The Blue Nile added to a relaxed and enjoyable evening. Staff friendly and very efficient. Well worth the visit.

Nice small restaurant with an interesting interior. We had tapas here and we enjoyed all the dishes. The staff are friendly. Value is reasonable - not too expensive. Please note they don't accept credit cards.

Totally overrated on TripAdvisor. We went there because of the good rating on TripAdvisor. We booked a table inside but when we arrived, we only got one on the windy terrace. Food is ok, but nothing you can't find anywhere else. Very small selection of very average wines. The chef and other members of the staff go for a cigarette on the terrasse (where their customers have dinner) frequently. No credit cards accepted.

Really, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and its foul language for a restaurant of this stature?? Seating at the corridor tables suffers due to very high music volume. Food was very good and Sangria even better.

Staff was so friendly and attentive, I wish the food was just as good. Had the salmon steak and it was alright, wasn't that palatable and I was pretty hungry. Played great music!

The best fresh fish, charcoal grilled ever !
Add in the atmosphere and the excellent background music (chosen by the Liverpudlian ? owner), and you have one of the best evenings ever. The fish chef is a true master of his craft. Suggest booking. Aiming to return this week. Well worth the 40 km drive.

This is a little more hidden than some of the other restaurants in Lagos, but worth finding. They serve very well cooked meats and fish. Started off with the flaming salami, which is 50% spectacle and 50% food. Followed it up with a fantastic steak. Would definitely recommend.
