I'm so happy I went there before reading the reviews. I'm surprised how low they are. It was amazing value for money. Hearty food, massive portions, lovely staff. The food was much better than I expected. Pleasantly surprised with Eastern European options on the menu, which tasted like at home. And I didn't feel that anything was frozen

AVOID: I GOT HORRIBLE FOOD POISONING FROM THEIR SQUID
It’s Frozen food. We paid way to much only to get our food and see it was obviously frozen and was heated up so much that we couldn’t even touch the plate. No taste. Don’t go if your looking for Portuguese food, it was overpriced and frozen. It also ruined our vacation as I was horribly sick the rest of the trip.

A nice restaurant with great service. As other reviewers have pointed out the daily meals are very cheap (€5 per meal April 2019) and the quality of the food is good. If you are looking for a cheap meal, I would definitely recommend this place. If you are looking for high quality food, try the fish restaurant 50 meters down the road.

Traditionelle portugiesische Küche zu günstigen Preisen. Wer eine Sterneküche erwartet, sollte woanders essen gehen, dann aber auch zu anderen Preisen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, bestens gelaunt und sprach dank seines langjährigen Aufenthaltes in Deutschland fließend deutsch. Ich komme gern noch einmal wieder.

Affordable portuguese dishes in the lower price segment. Nevertheless good quality and taste. Definitely good value for money. Daily dishes from 5 Euros, drinks are cheap as well.
Don't understand some of the 1* ratings... If you are looking for a Michelin restaurant offering dishes for 5 Euros...let me know when you found it. Typically German...cheap skates nagging about everything.

Litet, lugnt och trevligt ställe en bit från värsta turistruset men ändå mitt i byn. God och billig ”husmandskost”, trevlig och finfin service. Bra ställe stilla sin hunger, vila sina ben inför nästa strapats.

5 euros per meal seems cheap but with drink (1,50€) desert (2,90€and) and cofe its a 10€ meal wich wouldn't be that bad if the food was at least tastfull, sadly the food was disgusting. Clearly the food was made and frozen for later, with an horrible taste. Do no recomend, especially if you want to taste portuguese gastronomy!

Restaurant au top tant par la diversité des plats, leur qualité et le goût. J'y ai goûté 4 plats et ils étaient tous au top. J'ai adoré. Pour 5€ le repas ce serait dommage d'aller ailleurs. C'est au coeur de Lagos, proche de tout.

Un lieu en retrait du tumulte des nuits de Lagos. Des plats simples, typiques et généreux. Avec en prime un personnel accueillant et chaleureux. Je recommande ce petit restaurant qui gagne à être connu.

Das Essen ist wirklich scheußlich und ungenießbar. Der Laden wirbt mit Tagesgerichten für 5 Euro, was immer noch zu viel ist für das, was einem da vorgesetzt wird. Ich hatte "chicken stew with mushroom sauce" bestellt. Die Sauce hatte keinen Geschmack und das Hähnchen bestand zur Hälfte aus großen und kleinen Knochen. Die meiste Zeit verbringt man damit etwas essbares rauszupuhlen. Auf meine Nachfrage hin wurde mir sehr nonchalant erklärt, dass es sich bei einem Stück um einen Hühnerhals handelt und man sich bei dem Preis nicht zu beschweren bräuchte...

Very low quality food. However, i give two stars for the following reason: after i finished my tastless dish some poor guy next to me ordered the same. I relaxed and watched him go through all stages of frustration - it was hilarious. :-D

The salad had too much raw oignons. Apart from that it was pretty nice, for 5€ we had a decent dinner. The place has different opening hours from what is told on Google.

Serveuse très aimable. Un poulet piri piri + un plat spaghetti au crevette + 2 boisson 20€ sa reste raisonnable pour lEs quantité mais c’est pas exceptionnel et une frite en sup 4€50 un peu cher la frite .

Pésimo, hemos pedido dorada y venia acompañada de un pelo... hasta ahí bueno... es algo que puede pasar pero lo peor ha sido cuando en la ensalada tropical nos hemos encontrado otros dos pelitos además de una lechuga pocha que era imposible de comer.
Lo siento, pero no lo recomiendo ya que después de nuestra experiencia, no merece la pena.

Eu tive sorte de comer a massa vegetariana mas as pessoas com quem fui comeram horrivelmente mal. O arroz não tem sabor e a carne é igual a mastigar uma pastilha elástica.

This restaurant does not serve typical Portuguese food! The food looks frozen, has no flavor. It has nothing to do with traditional Portuguese food! However, the maid service was nice.

Comment pourrais-je traduire notre expérience?
Je dirais tout simplement à fuire. Depuis tant d'année que je viens au Portugal, il s'agit du plus mauvais poulet (Frango grelhado) grillé que j' ai pu mangé de ma vie.
Il est précisé grillé sur la carte , mais il ressemblait plûtot à un poulet insipide cuit au four accompagné de frites congelés farineuses.
Les tomates en accompagnement étaient sans saveur, et ajouté à cela, deux Mojito servis en apéritif, ou devrais-je plutôt dire deux verres d'eau mélangés à des feuilles de menthe et des tranches citrons.
5 euros le verre d'eau à la feuille de menthe, c'est plutôt bien vendu. Soit disant un restaurant typique Portugais??? On en est très loin.

Très bon accueil ! Par contre, je ne recommande pas si vous souhaitez manger des produits frais car les plats servis sont réchauffés (et oui produits surgelés) !

Calidad precio inmejorable...es un restaurante muy pequeño con platos portugueses a un muy buen precio situado en el centro de lagos, lo malo es que hay que estar a 1° hora de comida o cena para coger sitio

Sitio cutre, sin ventilación, sales oliendo a fritanga. Servicio malo, camarera mal encarada... Pides una cosa de la carta y te traen otra que no se parece en nada, además comida mala y no especialmente barata.
Malo malo. Nada recomendable. Avisados quedan.

No se quien dijo que es barato, ni que los platos cuestan 5 euros porque yo me gasté casi 40 euros y fue PATETICO.
Aunque así fuera, en este caso lo barato sale caro.
Pedí un cóctel de camarones y ASQUEROSO, dos platos de pescado y decepcionantes. Ni loca volvería. Perdí mi dinero y mi tiempo.

Entramos pensando que era el típico sitio portugués (porque eso pone en la puerta) pero nada más darnos la carta nos tuvimos que levantar e irnos. Cutre a más no poder, con las típicas fotos horribles de los platos. Por no hablar del olor a frito que había en el lugar y se nos quedó pegado en la ropa en tan solo 5 minutos. No probamos la comida pero no nos hizo falta!

Locale carino, piccolo ma si presenta bene. Purtroppo nota dolente i piatti. Cozze insapore e immangiabili, vongole immerse in un sughetto dall'odore nauseante. Lulas grigliati con contorno di patate e pomodori, patate crude, pomodori dal sapore di ipoclorito e lulas angora congelati all'interno. In totale 40 euro per non aver mangiato nulla. Pessima esperienza

Le serveur était très sympa.
Il y a une quantité de plat proposé sur la carte énorme. On se doute alors que rien n'est vrai. Je pense que même le pain était de la veille.
Pâtes aux crevettes...immangeables!
Trop d'informations tant sur le lieux que dans la carte et dans les assiettes.
Restaurant qui pourrait avoir du potentiel par son emplacement. Dommage car vraiment déçue! Trop chère pour ce que l'on a manger.
L'accueil sauve un peu le reste.
Je ne recommande pas du tout! A la limite pour aller boire une super bock pression!

Waren zu 7 da. Tagesgericht und Bortsch sehr lecker. Sehr günstig. Finger weg von Hähnchen Piri Piri, ist gebraten nicht gegrillt u d schwimmt in Öl
Alles irgendwie backig und eng. Die Bedienung hmmm.... speziell.

We had dinner here during our first evening in Lagos. The servers here are really nice and attentive. Delicious wine and local food. Prices are not expensive, at least not as in the center center of the city. Cute portuguese little restaurant. Highly recommended.

The white sangria is quite good but that is where it ended for us. The tapas platter was dry bread and oily octopus. The service was quite slow when they were not very busy.

Great value lunchtime food. I had the spaghetti meatballs for 5 euro they were lovely and the coffee with milk was the best that I'd had in Lagos. Nice and hot and strong. Definitely recommend.

Such a nice dinner.. sat outside with a calm atmosphere and delicious food. Had the monkfish stew - fresh seafood, really tasty and good value. Service was also very nice. This place is under-rated. Recommend a menu redesign, your food is better than your menu makes it look!

Servicio y comida horrible. Estuvimos dentro del restaurante y había un humo que salía de la cocina e impregnaba el comedor entero. Pedimos por favor que abriesen las ventanas varias veces ya que no podíamos ni respirar y los ojos nos picaban. Nos dieron largas hasta que tuve que dejar de comer el Bacalao Frito con cebolla que pedi ( malo y aceitoso) para salir a la calle. Finalmente, después de una hora, abrieron las ventanas. El trato recibido horrible, nos miraban hasta con mala cara.

Sehr zu empfehlen. Authentisch portugiesische essen zu guten Preisen. Der Sangria schmeckt sehr gut und die Bedienung ist nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Ist in einem ruhigen Gässchen.

En passant au hasard dans cette rue on s'est arrêter dans ce petit resto qui ne paye pas de mine mais tres bon 5€ pour un plat du jour très bien servi la responsable ukrainienne tres gentille on reviendra les yeux fermés

Hier kann man für 5 euro ein Gericht bekommen alles sehr frisch und ordentlich.ich habe nudeln mit frutti di mare gegessen, es war eine Fischsuppe mit kleinen Nudeln es war lecker, mein sodbrennen war wie weggefegt am Abend. Achtung Koriander Geschmack.Der fisch war herrlich frisch und garnelen auch die kleinen Muscheln.

Lugar com boa comida, simpático e rápido. O serviço é realizado sempre com um sorriso. Restaurante ucraniano com comida portuguesa. O único menos é o cheiro a fritos que algumas vezes se sente no interior.

Um bom restaurante que encontramos aqui em Lagos. O Restaurante Bar Inna que, muito embora a proprietária seja russa, serve muito bem a comida portuguesa. Pratos muito bem compostos e apresentados. Preços extremamente convidativos. Comida saborosa e atendimento muito gentil.

Wir waren hier zweimal essen, dieses restaurante hatte immer geöffnet. Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen lokalen, das essen War wirklich gut und nicht teuer. Hier essen auch Portugiesen was immer ein gutes Zeichen ist.
