Stumbled upon this traditional restaurant down a back street. It's captured the heritage of this charming coastal town and the staff are really friendly. Great traditional food and good ambience.

Goed restaurant, met gastvrije bediening die alle tijd voor je heeft. Uit gebreide kaart met veel vis gerechten .Wij hebben er uitstekend gegeten.

Von all den Restaurants, die wir in diesem Urlaub besucht haben, war dies das beste. Es wurden zu einem Festpreis viele verschiedene Sorten gegrillten Fisch angeboten. Es war köstlich und vom Preis her mehr als fair. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Desde as amêijoas de entrada, passando pelas espetadas de peixe e terminando com uma tarte de maçã quente, o jantar foi excelente. Como habitual!
Nos fins de semana é imperativo reservar.

Herrliches kleines Lokal. Reservieren ist definitiv zu empfehlen. Wer es gerne etwas spektakulärer haben möchte, wählt das Steak a la Chef. Auch wunderbar präsentiert wird der Spieß. Sollte es uns mal wieder in diese Ecke verschlagen, werden wir definitiv hier wieder essen gehen.

Food was OK, the lady that served us in the beginning couldn't really be bothered if we were there or not, asked to see wine menu got ignored, eventually remembered. Had to ask 3 times for the bill and only got it when I said we were leaving. That said if your a regular you'll get good service, guess face didn't fit, no worries we wont be back.

Fuimos a pedir mesa con mi familia y nos trataron de manera despectiva diciendo que tenían una mesa grande y que no podían atendernos. Ni un "buenas noches", decidimos darles otra oportunidad, tardaron en servimos 1h10, comida fría y cuando vamos a pagar no tienen datáfono. Deja bastante que desear.

Das Restaurant ist nicht zu empfehlen. Die Preise sind wirklich sehr unverschämt. Garnelen (7 Stück) nach Art des Hauses kosten 13€ und der Chefsalat mit so gut wie keinem Salat drauf 7,50€ einfach nur frech. Zu super unfreundlich.

Servicio algo lento un poco por encima de la media de los restaurantes del Algarve en verano. Se equivocaron en el servicio de un plato. De los 2 platos q pedimos uno de ellos (chipirones plancha) estaba algo pasado (puede ser cosa de un día) , el otro pescado a la brasa muy bueno.

Très très bonne adresse !
Rapport qualité prix très correct, bons produits, une merveilleuse soupe de poisson, et que dire des crevettes sauce Tasca (sauce piquante ) spécialité de la maison : divines !

The fish was obv straight from the fridge into the pan. It was not fresh at all and may have been weeks old. It tasted awfully. Our kid got saucages that were uneatable. The vegetables were floating in oil.

Bonne cuisine du terroir à proximité de la mer mais dans une petite rue calme. Petite terrasse bien abritée. Bons produits et accueil chaleureux. Valeur sûre pour un moment agréable à deux ou entre amis.

Estamos de vacaciones por la zona y ya hemos ido dos veces a cenar allí. El sitio es muy acogedor, la comida está buenísima, el pescado y el marisco de muy buena calidad y muy fresco, pero lo mejor de todo los camareros, son encantadores. El segundo día que fuimos era mi cumpleaños y tuvieron el detalle de sacarme una porción de tarta de chocolate con una vela y me cantaron mi primer "cumpleaños feliz" en portugués, incluso apagaron las luces para sacar la tarta. Muy emocionante. Estamos muy agradecidos con el trato recibido. Lo más recomendable de la zona.

Tem uns camarões "À Tasca" muito bons a comida em geral é toda muito boa e saborosa, funcionais simpáticos, é um restaurante pequeno por vezes demorado até termos mesa. Vale a pena ir a este restaurante embora os preços sejam um pouco desajustados (inflacionado) em relação a outros.

This is by far our favourite place, the Tasca prawns (shelled are a must) followed by Tasca fillet steak. Service amazing. We’ve been coming here for 8 years!!! Xxx and my husband 20!

Serviço muito demorado, desde o pedido do prato principal até a sobremesa foi uma aventura. A comida é saborosa sobretudo as sobremesas no entanto os acompanhamentos são praticamente inexistentes, realmente uma grande desilusão face ao sítio e fama.

Delicious seafood cataplana! Staff are very helpful and friendly, although we had to wait quite a bit for our main. However, it is a very busy and popular restaurant. We had a great time there so just drank more delicious wine until the food arrived.

Gostei boa comida a sangria branca também...foi pena no final terem-se enganado na conta...quem pagou...pagou enganado pois éramos 6 e a conta veio de 12 ou seja duas vezes...foi retificada...mas fica sempre a dúvida.....foi pena mesmo.

Batatas pre-fritas, congeladas, não combinam com a boa fama que o restaurante detém.... provavelmente escolhi os pratos errados.

Small family run restaurant unpretentious simple well cooked Portuguese food. Mistly using freshly caught local seafood at very reasonsble pricez. Very popular with locals. Reservation is recommended as they have limited space. Homely ambiance.

If you want to pay 12,5o euros for 6 prawns go for it! Otherwise i do not recommend....... Been in Portugal many times and visit many local restaurants ... The worst meal ever! Dry... Dry.. Dry... Vegetables from frozen

It's up a side street with tables outside just off main walkway itself certainly worth a visit all though no specific gluten free options on menu,the charming staff seemed well aware of the need for gluten free option. This was like many others plain grilled meat potatoes, with strawberry and melon desert. Just ask and explain the gluten free need the staff very accommodating. House red wine very exceptable.

Wow wow wow. Best restaurant during our holiday. Had the mixed fish and prawns and it was incredible. The tuna was cooked to perfection and best I've ever had. Would eat here every night.

Das Essen ist wirklich super! Egal, ob frischer Lachs, gegrillte Fischfilets oder die Garnelen nach Art des Hauses, alles ist hervorragend!
Das Personal ist super freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend!
Die Räume und besonders die Toiletten sind sehr sauber und gepflegt!
Eine Reservierung in den Abendstunden ist dringend zu empfehlen!
Achtung:
Es werden nur Bargeld und portugiesische Multi-Banco Karten akzeptiert.
