Não tem nada mais desagradável do que estar num bar ou restaurante e os garçons começarem a recolher mesas e cadeiras insinuando aos clientes que está na hora de fechar... Num sítio qualquer ainda vá lá, mas no Alvor, em plena rua lotada de bares e restaurantes, você começa a entender que fez a pior escolha... A comida? Apenas razoável...

The steak here is amazing. Recommend the share platter for 2 (2 sirloin 2 fillet 2 rib eye 7oz) we went back two days in a row it was that good. Second day we got the fillet and it was worth every penny. The triple cooked fries are amazing and for those who like garlic butter they have it if you ask.

Probably one of the nicest steaks I've ever eaten. Cooked to absolute perfection. The staff were very friendly & couldn't do enough to make sure you were happy. We sat on the outside, right by the street & it was a great location to be able to relax with a delicious meal & still soak in the atmosphere and buzz along the street. Would definitely recommend.

We aten een lekkere vleesschotel met naar keuze een sausje en een bijgerecht. Eindelijk eens automatisch de keuze voor wel of geen aardappelgerecht! Ook de wijn was lekker. Erg gezellige bediening die flink hun best deden. Een aanrader dus!

Accueil parfait ! Nous avons pris la cote à l os pour deux avec des frites de patates douces et des épinards ainsi que 2 sauces excellent! Vu que c est un steak house les prix sont un peu plus élevés que les restaurants locaux, mais on a adoré!!

Una cena eccellente sotto ogni punto di vista: qualita', cottura e presentazione delle portate top; servizio cordiale e professionale.
E un buon Porto offerto ....

Wir haben die Grillplatte für zwei bestellt. Menge war ausreichend, aber auch nur, weil wir keinen sehr großen Hunger hatten. Fleisch war gut gewürzt und das Brot mit dip und Salz vorweg Mega lecker. Locationwwar mitten im Trubel von Alvor.Das muss man mögen.
Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam allerdings nur bis man gegessen hatte. Nach einem weiteren Getränkewunsch wurde nicht mehr gefragt. Stattdessen war man froh, dass der Tisch für die nächsten Gäste frei wurde. Deshalb einen Punkt Abzug

The ravioli were in fact huge tortellini, the dish was disgusting, no taste whatsoever. It was served with a kind of soup, I think it was the liquid feom the 1 kg of boiled spinach and raw rocket salad from the top. My friends had burgers and all their meat was well overcooked. I will definitely not go there again.

I have ordered a burger and it came more than “well done”. The meat was overcooked and very dry.
Highy prices and low quality.
The only thing good was the cheesecake, that’s why i gave them 2 stars.

Great steaks. I had a sharer to myself not realising and got six small steaks. It took time but i finished it. The fillets were cooked perfectly.

Дорого конечно, но это самый лучший ресторан из тех, где мы побывали в Португалии и он действительно хорош, начиная от стартеров и заканчивая вкуснейшими десертами!

Best steak we (me and two sons, 12 and 14) all agree that we have had in a long time. Would Def visit again. Excellent service. Perfectly cooked. Medium price, for tourist location.

We wanted time ago to try this place, they had a supposed promotion about a grill, it cost 27€ with 2 more dishes and 2 sauces, the waiter finally gave us another grill, and he charged us all separated, we felt cheated, we don't believe in comming back.
Teníamos desde hace mucho tiempo ganas de probar este sitio, tenían una supuesta promoción en la puerta de una parrillada a 27€ con 2 platos incluidos y con 2 salsas, hablamos con el camarero y al final nos sivió otra y nos cobró los complementos por separados, nos sentimos estafados sinceramente, no creo que volvamos.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant, steak is to die for. Yes, it's a bit more expensive than other Alvor restaurants but you certainly get what you pay for.

We've been going years and it's sliding. All I can say is if you want sirloin - order a 7oz. If you order an 11oz, you'll get a 7 oz plus 4 oz of fat and gristle. Nice peeps but they clearly are told to ignore feeback because the last couple of times I've been asked what I thought, told them, then been ignored. It's ok, just stick to 7oz. Me? After many years, I'm off to the competition - there's loads these days.

We ordered the mixed grill and were very pleased with what we got and the price paid.
The dessert was also very nice indeed.
The staff were also excellent.
Could I find fault, possibly, if I were wanting to be that way inclined.
Overall, this was a very nice meal and experience and we would go again.

A gem if a place. I really great I'm Innovative place for steak and meat they seem to really know how to cook and present. Also the staff and service was really really good. The Angus kebab and steak cuts we're extremely tasty and the peppercorn sauce was the best I've ever had

TOTALLY DISGUSTED!!!
On Sunday 7th July we booked a table for 2 with the guy on the door 3 days before tonight saying that he worked there most nights . He took my name and telephone number, then offered me and my wife a table on the top floor with views of the marina. We were truly amazed by his friendly manner. BUT tonight when we arrived for our reservation, the same guy took us to one side to explain to us that someone else had booked our table before us and started to introduce us to the guy who he "said" had booked our table first. He tried to offer us another table, but I was TOTALLY DISGUSTED by this and told him to keep his table, (HE COULD HAVE CALLED ME AS HE HAD MY PHONE NUMBER). I then told the other guy who supposedly booked the table first "your welcome to the table".
I would not dream of eating at a place that treated customers in this way.

We have eaten here twice, totally amazing food and service. I had the 11oz fillet steak which was cooked to perfection and accompanied by a superb chillian Cab Sauv.
I got the club cheese sauce which just set the taste buds into overdrive.
The management and staff made the dining experience all the more enjoyable. Will return on our next visit to Alvor if we don't fly back especially for dinner here!

Be prepared to wait along time folks....90 mins waiting on main course!!! 2 adults & 3 kids so we weren’t a big party of 50no people. Food was excellent in fairness. But I’d suggest having a starter 1st as we were starving by the time our main course did arrive

Great food, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Update as of May 2018. Been again, still as great as before, if not more so. Staff are dedicated, both to good service and good food. If somehow you can bring yourself to eat only once here, have the kebab.

The steak was fantastic. Scallops were good. The brownie dessert was to die for (skip the creme brulé). Absolutely worth a visit. Your fault if you don't.

Alvor is very quiet this time of year, but this steak house didn't disappoint. Really nice setting, inside the restaurant is very modern and smart. The steak was possibly the best steak i have ever had. The service was perfect aswell. I would definitely go back here on another golfing holiday. Outstanding

Decent steakhouse on the main drag. Not the best in Alvor but still up there. Good service but slightly pricey compared to others around but not much else to fault.

Fabulous food, the rib-eye steak was cooked perfectly. The staff were attentive and brought port and chocolate brownie for my sons birthday. Will be back soon.

Very good steaks, the sharing platters are both tasty and great value, starter and main, great way to have more than one type of meat. Wine list is good. Service is friendly and top class, very knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended
