I ate here last night with the wife. It’s exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the best ribs and wings I’ve ever eaten. Meat just falls off the bone. Service was exceptional, not rushed and the venue is clean. Good work and thank you for a lovely first evening meal on my week long holiday x

This place has lots of seating, there's a huge selection on the menu, the portions are huuuge (as you can see in the picture that's all the mixed grill) and it's reasonably priced. I'd recommend it to any meat eater!

A great find just off the square in Old Town, Albufeira. A good variety of choice, and great tasting too.

Wasn’t overly impressed with the super sweet bbq sauce on the pulled ribs and the very plain potato accompaniment- drinks were nice but probably best to stick to what they’re known for - the all you can eat ribs and wings rather than off the menu

One of the best restaurant's I have ever been too, the hot wings are of perfect spice with a lovely taste (not just spice). The chocolate cake was also lovely and the staff are really friendly. Highly recommended.

My wife and I ate here last night, it was the only restaurant where we didn't get pestered by the staff to come to. It turned out to be a great choice - my wife had the mixed kebab and I had the unlimited ribs - superb! Highly recommend.

Great place, good location, friendly staff... service was fast & the portions are quite large.

Unlimited Ribs?!?!? Look no further! The food here is better than what my girlfriend cooks by far! Dont tell her I said that though. If I was being given the death sentence, I would very Much choose this place to have my last meal! This place is heaven!

Ze claimen hier de lekkerste spareribs van de stad te serveren en dan ook nog onbeperkt. Het is dat je in je vakantie niet iedere dag hetzelfde gaat eten, maar de spareribs waren zo lekker dat je het bijna zou overwegen. Als we weer in Albufeira op vakantie gaan, zullen we hier zeker weer terugkomen om spareribs te gaan eten. Leuk detail is dat je hier bitterballen als voorgerecht kunt bestellen. Misschien niet helemaal zoals we in Nederland gewend zijn qua korst, maar de ragout is zeker zeer smakelijk.

We eat here every time we go to Albufiera.Food is still enjoyable could not say the say for the young lads that served us ,uckily as we left we met the usual friendly man that is been there previously who greeted us warmly. We told him of our experience and he will pass these to the owner. Hopefully it will be good again when we return.

Tijdens onze vakantie toch even aan onze 'guilty pleasure' toegegeven en frikandel (speciaal) gaan eten. Heel vriendelijk nederlands sprekend personeel en het eten smaakte goed met heel schappelijke prijzen. Niets op aan te merken.

Shalom een beter restaurant kan je niet treffen in Albufeira bediening is behulpzaam, aardig en lief speciaal voor de wat oudere klanten en het eten is van zeer goede kwaliteit en LEKKERRRRRRR.Ik kom zeer zeker terug groeten van de Hollander met zijn Engelse vrouw

De eerste 2x was het super zowel
het eten als de bediening
Nu de laatste keer de bediening was er wel maar zeker niet goed
Ongeïnteresseerd en ook niet echt vriendelijk meer
Het eten . De spare ribs waren super
En dat was het ook de patat was niet gaar en in oude olie gebakken smaakte oud en biter
Ik vindt het echt jammer dat het zo moet
Volgend jaar loop ik deze zaak voorbij

LACK OF HYGIENE -
We ordered two chichas with 4 friends. The waitress brought only one plastic protection. We asked for another one, they brought us unsealed plastic protections. We asked for sealed ones, and they claimed that they didn’t have any left.
A table sits behind us and orders a chicha and receives plastic protections. Interesting - I thought there weren’t any left !
We told the manager/owner and he told the waitresses to not give us any.
Unfortunately, we had already ordered dessert. What a mistake that was.
We received an unfrozen, tasteless, mushy waffle, which was accompanied by supermarket ice-cream and almost plastic whipped cream. They should use that plastic to make more protections :)

We had the mixed skewers for 2 with chips, rice and salad. The meat was dry and very chewy and the other parts of the meal were bought separately and didn't all come together like in a Turkish restaurant. We ordered a litre of sangria which was more expensive than ordering 2 1/2 litres of sangria which was frustrating. I wouldn't eat here again.

Goed gegeten, de spareribs zijn heerlijk. De bot gaat makkelijk van het vlees af wat al aangeeft dat het goed gegaard is. Prijzen zijn redelijk. Buiten zitten in de avond geeft je het heerlijke vakantiegevoel midden in de drukke straten van Albufeira.

I ordered a chicken and mushroom pasta which was probably the best meal out of the six of us and still very disappointing. It was well below par with dry flavourless chicken. Would not eat here again.

This is our third time on holidays in albufeira. Someone on the plane on our first visit recommended shalom to us. We checked it out. Three years later it is the only restaurant we go to. It is amazing. We are a family of 7 so satisfying everyone is a very rare occasion. The food, the service and attention to detail is first class. As a gesture of goodwill on our last visit for this year we received complimentary desserts. Roll on next year as we count down the weeks again...we will be back. 100% perfection

The best wings and ribs that I have tasted. Quite a large portion to begin with and since it's all you can eat ribs it is fantastic value. It was so good that we went back a second time. Would strongly advise to make this onto your dinning experience when visiting old town.

Food was great with good value for your money. However, we were disappointed with the lack of attention from the staff, we had to chase staff to order additional drinks, they appeared to be uninterested in our table of 6, after our meal we were not offered the opportunity to order any dessert. This is a shame as we often recommend this restaurant to our friends and visitors. But it appears to have lost its appeal.

In this review I am referring to shalom 2. We've visited a few times now over the years, my partner always chooses the ribs and I usually get the meatballs. They've always been very tasty and plentiful with nothing at all to complain about. However, the big put off was when I saw two senior serving staff (one male one female) come out of the toilet, they didn't wash their hands (its got a communal hand wash basin) this is enough for us not to come back here I'm sorry to say. If they can't get basic personal hygiene right then no, I don't want to eat my food served by dirty staff. Please note that this is about shalom 2. I hope the owners read this and try and get their staff sorted. Also I can say that the two dirty culprits have worked there for a number of years now.

We found this place by mistake, and all is I can say is we made a good choice to stop and have a meal here! We shared a platter for two and it was great! We would definitely recommend this place and go again.

My husband and I were told about this restaurant from a fellow guest at our hotel he and his partner highly recommend it. On their recommendations, we decided to give it a go as I absolutely love ribs and chicken wings especially when it's all you can eat!
We weren't disappointed the quality and quantity outstanding. We will definitely be back next time we're in Portugal.

Wat was het weer heerlijk (spare ribs en kipfilet) eten. Zeer vriendelijk personeel en ook als je gewoon aan het 'slenteren' door de straat bent altijd open voor een praatje. Kom er zeker zoals de vele voorgaande keren weer terug om 'typisch' Portugees te eten

Ribs and wings are amazing! Service was great. Family run restaurant that really cares about the customers and is proud of their brand. Large portions (especially when compared to other restaurants in town) and very reasonable prices. Would recommend to only eat here when visiting Albufeira.

Had a lovely time there food very good staff friendly. There was 7 of us. Didn't have starters or desserts had 3 lots of all can eat ribs and wings 2 pasta dishes chicken satay and sashlic chicken, 8 pints of beer 6 cokes came to €138.75. Which we all thought was exceptional value as we waddled home with full bellies.

I was here 2 weeks ago ,my wife heard about it and cudnt remember the name of it until we stumbled upon it and it was the nicest meal we had over the week of our stay, when i was asked if i wanted more not bn a pig but i said just a few wings they came out to me as fresh as the first lot ,i c some people giving average rating which is fair but i cudnt fault it one bit it's a shame it's not n dublin i reckon I would be obese if it was really great place to eat c u next year shalom

Les boissons sont servies dans de très grand verres contrairement à d’autres restaurant. Nous avions commandé des pizzas (4 fromages, une au poulet, une aux champignons) les 3 étaient délicieuses. Les ribs et le « chicken salted » l’étaient tout autant ! Les assiettes sont très copieuses. Les coupes glacées et les milkshakes sont délicieux aussi et la quantité ne manque pas. Le personnel est serviable et parle toutes les langues. Il n’y a quasiment pas d’attente on est servie très rapidement et toute la table a eu ses plats en même temps. Restaurant vraiment très bien et pas excessivement cher.

It is such a cute little restaurant with plenty of room to eat in!! The people were so lovely and they were always checking if everything was ok and if we wanted more!!! Plate was piled with fries and salad as well (probably so you fill up and don't order more meat!).

Not worth going!!Avoid the steak, fatty and thin. The steak had never seen a ribeye, was more like quick fry from the supermarket. Staff were unhelpful, first the meal was incorrect with no apology. When we complained all they were bothered about was if we had already complained! Would give 0 stars if I could.
So many better places to eat in Albuferia, avoid this one!

They don’t take credit cards. Food very average. Burgers tasted like fake microwaved hamburgers. Ribs were mushy. Wings were ok, nothing great. Worse than an average chain restaurant in the US. Only thing good was the service... Did I mention they don’t take credit cards. Very odd as most all places here do. No signage and no mention from server. Bad!

Good but the steak with "stroganoff" (or how they think it's called) was pretty much cream, herbs and mushrooms. Not bad but they also better cut some of the fat of the steak first, ⅓ was fat tbh. Shalom II was the place we ate!

Best place I've ever been for ribs and wings. Meat falls off the bones and staff very helpful and friendly. So good we came back for a second visit during the same holiday. Would highly recommend this place without a doubt and if you're a fan of ribs then you certainly won't be disappointed in dining here. €20 will get you as much ribs and wings you can eat and a drink with a few bob left for a tip.

Gorgeous food, friendly service, amazing value for money. We were all stuffed! The dipping sauces that came with our meal were so good that there was barley any left over. The pulled pork/rib pizza was delicous. Not a single complaint, will be back for sure.

Not crazy about ribs but without doubt the best ribs I've ever tasted. Chicken was great too and the all you can eat is exactly that. Good and service was great

Das Restaurant ist in zwei Bereiche aufgeteilt: 1. Dem Barbereich 2. Restaurantbereich mit Speisemöglichkeit.
Man wird am Eingang schon direkt empfangen und bekommt einen Tisch zugewiesen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, die Preise mehr als in Ordnung und die Hausspezialität (Ribs & Wings) ein Traum. Da das Restaurant holländisch ist, wird die Speisekarte in Portugies, English und Dutch serviert.

Wenn man mal nicht original Portugiesisch essen möchte, sondern einfach mal richtig Hamburger, ribs oder wings möchte, dann liegt man bei shalom goldrichtig. Riesige Portionen und die sind auch noch lecker. Ziemlich gute ribs. Sobald man fertig ist, fragen die netten kellnerinnen ob man noch nachschlag haben möchte...und das ohne Aufpreis. Ist halt all you can eat. Bei mir war das zwecklos. Habe nicht mal meinen Teller geschafft. Preise sind auch sehr fair. Zum Abschluss kann ich den warmen angeblichen empfehlen.

Grote porties, lekker eten, hele goede prijs-/kwaliteit-/kwantiteit-verhouding. Deel van het personeel is Nederlands, wel zo makkelijk. De ribs & wings is een aanrader!

Very, very busy place. I had salmon with rice, was ok nothing special. My other half had double burger with chips. He said the burger was fab, chips were of the frozen kind, and unfortunately burger bun fell apart. Both meals were plentiful, but not exactly gourmet.

Your average tourist restaurant. The menu's borderline junk food, but food tastes alright and portions are large. Wouldn't return here or recommend the place though.
When we visited they didn't take card payments.

Very pleasant and friendly staff. Food was fantastic. Both of my young kids loved the food, especially as it offered more than the other restaurants did on the child's menu.

Shisha ist eine Katastrophe, null Geschmack und selbstzündende Kohle. Neue billig Kohle kostet dann nochmal 2,50 Euro extra. Sangria war ok, Essen kann ich nicht beurteilen.

Family night out while on holiday. Ordered meal, arrived within 15 mins. My steak was rare, asked for medium to well done. It was taken away, back some 10 mins later, heated up, chips showing signs of being heated. Pepper Sauce a mess, glue like, with a pepper taste and a lot of pepper codons, sauce over small bit of salad.
Second steak went back, not rib eye, a cheaper cut pulp to one side, strange texture.
Was recommended to me, awful, came home and got a bite to eat. Avoid,used to be good, but slipping badly

Ate here and Shalom 2 across the street. Best ribs and wings in town and i recommended the shashlik its like a deconstructed kebab. Great for families and kids. Very reasonable €€

Great relaxed atmosphere.
Fantastic all you can eat chicken wings and pork ribs deal with French fires and salad for €14 -€16. Also serving pizzas, chicken breast and streaks.
Really great food and friendly staff definitely one not to miss

Heb hier de beste spareribs van mn leven gegeten! Heerlijk mals en sappig en ze zijn ook noy onbeperkt, ook al kwam ik niet aan een tweede bord toe aangezien er al zoveel op het eerste bord lag. De hot wings zijn echt lekker. De bediening is aardig en behulpzaam. Het drinken is aan de dure kant. Het restaurant zelf is verdeeld over twee kanten van de straat, wat wel interessant is.

Ich hatte das All you can eat Chicken Wings Angebot. Meine Begleitung hatte das BBQ-Chicken. Beides war sehr gut. Ich glaube die Wings werden grundsätzlich mit Curry gewürzt. Beide Varianten - Spicy und BBQ, schmecken. Wobei ich Spicy empfehle. Der Service ist sehr gut. Freundlich, schnell und zuvorkommend. Ich würde immer ohne selbst aktiv zu werden gefragt, ob ich noch mehr Wings möchte. Als ich mit Wings fertig war, habe ich mich erkundigt, ob ich auf Rippchen umschwenken kann. Das war kein Problem - das fände ich sehr entgegenkommend. Die Rippchen waren nicht meins. Leider konnte mir keiner der Angestellten mitteilen, ob es einen Rekord gibt. Ich hatte 23 Wings somit zwar nicht meine persönliche Bestmarke geknackt aber bin mehr als satt nach Hause gerollt

De lekkerste spare ribs van portugal! Het vlees valt van de ribbetjes af, zo gaar! In een heerlijk zoete bbq saus! Dame blanche als toe......en hup het albuferische actieven in. Zeer aan te bevelen!!

Probably the best value and tastiest food in Abufeira. The family own 3 venues all close to each other. You will leave this place with a full belly! Waitresses are superbly efficient and polite. Dutch/ Israeli ownership- the owners will chat to you. They are lovely friendly people. My number 1 recommendation in Albufeira.

Eten bij Shalom is erg lekker. je krijgt veel eten voor een lage prijs. een aantal personeelsleden spreken ook nederlands.
