Very nice and friendly staff, phoned in advance to reserve a table and ask if they had a particular dish available. I'd wanted to try a typical Portuguese dish , so I ordered the wild rabbit. I was not let down, black eyed bean ordeuve was unexpected and delicious. Baked goat's cheese was superb, then came the wild rabbit, well it was the best I've ever eaten. I must apologise about the photos, my camera lense is broken.

Sadly a poor shadow of what it was before. Expensive. I'm really sorry, but suspect another change of ownership won't be long!

Very pleasant experience, the food was very nice. I would disagree with previous reviews saying the vegetables were 'raw'. They were tasty and had a nice bite to them as vegetables should, not mushy! The staff were friendly and the complimentary bread was appreciated.

Maravilhosooo marisco e peixe fresco!

Vegetarische Gerichte werden mit rohem Gemüse serviert. Schmeckt nicht, da auch noch ungewürzt! Und dann 13 Euro! Nudeln mit Gambas waren okay. Vielleicht hier besser richtige Fischgerichte essen. Restaurant war ziemlich leer, im Gegensatz zu allen Anderen. Weiss nun warum!

Nous avons mangé dans ce restaurant ce 03/03/2020 a 13h Un enfant était enfermé dans le placard qui donne dans le restaurant...puni...il y était quand nous sommes arrivés et encore a notre départ Restaurant a éviter de toute urgence... Maltraitance d'enfant Q sau'elle horreur!!!...

Tardaron 40 minutos en tomarnos notam 20 minuos para el postre. No habia mucha gente.P muy ligeros, no nos llenamos como en los demas sitios. Camareros muy serios y como enfadados, poco personal, mesas sin retirar, estabamos en el interior y priorizaban siempre a la gente de la terrada.

Family run restaurant recently reopened under new management. Very welcoming and fantastic with the kids. Reasonable prices and great food, including a South African BBQ which is great man food, and calamari and chips on the kids menu which our 3 year old loved. If you have a sweet tooth, you absolutely must try the south african desert as well.

Awful....really awful..owner is rude and aggressive, does not care about customer service...just about the €€€..poor..really poor..Burgau is a lovely place with some great venues to eat...this is not one of them...although food is good..chef is a top man, friendly and honest...owner...well..could well let the business down..shame really..word of mouth travels fast...
