I think the third or fourth time I’ve been here - why? Simply my favourite in Portugal. Love that an expat family have established a unique restaurant offering local produce. The most fabulous Portuguese meat, own label house win super, great desserts and service charming. We sat outside, which was lovely, with blankets if you felt the need! Not bad value either - 4 covers, two bottles of wine, a beer and three courses plus coffee €140 exc service. And we parked 100m away. Until next time......

Uitstekend gegeten. Tot nu toe het beste in Ferragudo. Een aanrader.
Erg vriendelijke bediening.
Veel vlees, enkele visgerechten. Iets duurder dan de andere restaurants in de omgeving, maar dat is de kwaliteit zeker waard en de porties zijn huge. Ook de rode huiswijn (Tejo) is prima (is ook per karaf te verkrijgen).

La meilleure viande que j'ai mangée dans un restaurant ( qualité et quantité !!! ...une portion conviendrait pour deux ) avec en plus un accueil très chaleureux et sympathique.

En une semaine, alors que nous venons chaque année, impossible d'avoir une table pour 2.
Toujours réservé, et impossible même hors saison d'avoir une table!!!
Du coup, nous avons poursuivi nos découvertes aux alentours, et trouvé de succulentes adresses moins courues et très tradis.

Ir you like good meat and good vibes, this is the place. God! So much meat we could not finish... tender, juicy, the Mista de Carnes, which is a mixture of porc and beef for 2 persons is so big that 3 were eating and maybe 3 more could too. Just 55€. The only thing is that it is a small restaurant so it was a bit hot even do it was raining outside and there are lots of old things on the walls for decoration, that was nice with the exception of a big bull's head... that I am not a fan. The rest.... so good!

Wow, what a restaurant.
It offers a fantastic selection of classic meals featuring very good quality ingredients. The meats on offer here are truly unique and worth a visit for this alone.
Our meal was very tasty, fresh and well presented. All washed down with a beautiful wine as recommended by Jo (the charismatic lady serving us during our meal). She along with her colleagues deserve a mention, they are so friendly and chatty making your meal even more of an event.
We have recently moved to the area and had this restaurant mentioned to us as top notch. It did not disappoint and I will be returning many a time in the future to work my way through the menu!

The Name is actually Fin do Mundo. Wonderful evening with delicious food and great service. One needs to book well in advance as this restaurant is usually booked out. Could not recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Empregado muito mal educado, chegamos às 9:53 no qual veio logo a correr que já era tarde e não servia mais nada e o restaurante estava meio cheio e a noite estava óptima, e ainda veio a trás de nós pela rua a fumar um cigarro. Penso que é uma falta de respeito e profissionalismo enorme!

Gegrillter Fisch von der Tageskarte: groß und geschmacklich ein Traum! Tatsächlich der beste, den ich in Portugal je gegessen habe!
Große Auswahl an Steaks, und auch diese einfach perfekt!
Waren schon immer etwas teurer, haben nach meinem Eindruck zumindest bei der Tageskarte preislich nun noch weiter angezogen (gegrillter Fisch unabhängig von der Art 32,- €). Qualität hat zweifellos ihren Preis - damit aber leider kein Restaurant für jeden, sondern für einen besonderem Abend...!
Reservieren dringend empfohlen.

Erstklassiges Restaurant, toller und engagierter Service, ausgezeichnete Köche, volle Transparenz der Küche (alles offen sichtbar).
Wir hatten wunderbare Garnelen in Knoblauch und überbackenen Ziegenkäse mit Honig als Vorspeise und komplettierten das Essen mit einem erstklassigen Rib Eye Steak und super leckeren Lammkoteletts in Minze. Alles 100%!
Reservierung ist obligatorisch und sollte mehrere Tage vorher erfolgen. Wir waren froh, noch einen zweiten Termin in drei Tagen zu ergattern.
Preis-Leistung ist sehr gut! Wir sagen Danke für diesen tollen Abend.

What an experience, what a meal! Run by a husband in the kitchen and wife out front and a friendly talkative wait staff, this restaurant would be a shame to pass up. The food was unforgettable as was the wine. Expect the owner to sit down with you to chat and help you while away the evening. An evening my wife and I will not soon forget.

Excellent beef especially the USA fillet. You pay a little bit more but it's well worth it. Doubt you can eat the generous portions. Try the red Alentejo wine - full bodied and compliments the beef. Service is extremely friendly.

We go to lots of restaurants whilst on hols and have been coming for 7 years. This year it was still our most favourite meal. Definitely the place for a wonderful steak. Atmosphere is always vibrant and the staff very friendly. We will be back again. Book early so as not to be disappointed.

We were lucky enough to eat at Fim do Mundo twice while in Ferragudo. We visited at the tail end of the off-season in the area, and both times we walked up fairly late in the evening (9pm+) and were able to get a table for 6, however it seemed like the last free spot both times.
The first time they accommodated us with a special table in the street out front, and brought us blankets when it got cold. The service was funny, friendly, and fast.
The food has been written about at length below and was truly superb, both the beef and seafood. If you're 3 or more people, you should try the (huge) platter!

Omg soooo good. Definitely recommend. 2 of us ordered the prawn and flaming chorizo appetizers with the mushroom steak medium well perfectly made. We shared our main dish as it came with fries , little bit of rice e and salad. The service was fantastic and the staff all so friendly. Atmosphere was fun and comfortable. Best dinner here as of yet.
We got 2 tarts for desert free and the grappa as well. The little basket is where they bring the receipt in. Our meal was around 57€.

If you don't have British accent, don't go there, service level totally depends on your accent.
We ordered at 9:45 and the food was ready at 10:40, quit long time for a steak.
Steaks were just okay, nothing special. I would never go back there again.

Interesting and friendly british owner that made Ferragudo who her home many years ago - the dishes are great with beef and other ingredients sourced locally.
The beef was so good that I was stunned to see my daughter eat her steak rare. Meals were delicious and the atmosphere great.

They're are no words sufficiently praiseworthy for this amazing establishment!! The owners and staff are absolutely top notch and you will struggle to find better service or a better steak than here. Vasco, the owner, ages his own steaks in house and to perfection!

Very interesting restaurant for meat lovers, don't order too many burning sausages at your table or you'll cook along :) Oh and when you delicious steak arrives, you realize there are actually TWO of those. Be ready and be hungry!

Eu e a minha esposa adoramos . Não tenho palavras para descrever a experiência gastronômica. Mas não é só a comida que supera as expectativas, o atendimento é 5 estrelas. Vamos voltar certamente . Recomendo a marcar mesa, está sempre cheio . O valor não se pode dizer que é caro, mas não é barato. Mas a qualidade da comida , do espaço e do atendimento valem cada €.

Tolles Restaurant mit super leckeren und zarten Steaks. Schon lange nicht mehr so ein tolles Steak gegessen. Preise sind absolut moderat und es gibt gute Portionen zu essen. Sehr nette Bedienungen und schöne Athmosphäre. Ganz wichtig: Vorher reservieren.

It is easily the best restaurant in Ferragudo and probably the best in the Portimão area. Both the seafood and meat have been perfected by two skilled chefs behind an open kitchen. The waiters are some of the most friendly and helpful waiters you'll meet. The prizes for the dishes are very well worth it and you won't regret paying a little extra for'em. We ordered peppersauce steak, grilled chicken and grilled lamb chops with mint sauce. All of these were outrageously good and even though the portions were rather huge, we ate everything without regrets. Furtherdown there are some pictures with descriptions.

Delicious food and very friendly staff. Careful though: on the menu the meat mix is recommend for 2 people but it ‘a actually for 4! Even if you take an appetizer.
We were 5, since the meat mix is for two we ask for a second main dish and it was too much.

Best steak fillet and pork tenderloin my husband and I have ever had! My husband could cut his steak with a spoon! The house gin with berries was also very good! Service was outstanding!! It can get expensive but you get a lot of food so you get exactly what you pay for. Overall amazing! Will come back anytime we are in Portugal! Reservation is MUST!

Excelente restaurante para ir jantar peixe ou carne que se corta com o garfo(?) Um dos meus top 3 do Algarve. Excelente ambiente e atendimento simpatico e atencioso. O preço nao é barato (mais de 25€ por pessoa ) mas saímos muito satisfeitos e com muita vontade de la voltar. Obrigatório reservar com antecedência sob pena de não haver lugar. Passagem obrigatória para mim sempre que vou para o Algarve

Gewoon doen. Gewoon gaan en lekker genieten van een fantastische avond. Een restaurant vol passie en sfeer.
Wij hadden geluk en konden zonder reserveren naar binnen. Maar het stroomt echt vol vanaf half 8. De keuken is half 7 open.
We hebben de mixed grill genomen en het was zoveel dat we ons schaamde dat wij het niet op konden eten. We kregen bakjes mee. Voor morgen in ons appartement.
Menu staat in het nederland. Ze spreken Portugees. Engels. Duits en kan een klein beetje Frans. Hele leuke dames en heren die keihard werken voor hun geld. Zeer vriendelijk. Je ziet de dame en heren in de keuken echt met passie je eten klaar maken..

Heel gezellig en knus ingericht restaurant met een open keuken. Altijd druk en reserveren ook aanbevolen in het voorjaar.
Uitgebreide wijnkaart, hadden helaas niet onze keuze maar kwamen met een goed alternatief.
Voorgerecht was heerlijk, een lekker gevulde vissoep en een honingmeloen gevuld met port.
Hoofdgerecht was een mix grill, dit was echt niet te doen met 2 personen. Het leek wel of de complete koe in delen op tafel lag. Eerlijk is eerlijk, het was geweldig vlees maar waarschuw de onschuldige toerist voor deze overdaad aan kauwwerk met een kleine kanttekening in het Nederlandse deel van het menu.
Bediening erg vriendelijk en toegankelijk. Rekening werd geserveerd met een huisgemaakte grappa en een vers gebakken koekje.
Al met al zeker een restaurant waar je geweest moet zijn

Melhor restaurante para carnes grelhadas. Já visitei o espaço diversas vezes e experimentei vários tipos de carnes e vêm sempre suculentos e deliciosos.
A sopa de peixe é de comer e ficar a desejar repetir.
O atendimento é muito intimista com a Joanne e simpatia é coisa que não lhe falta.
Se sobrar espaço no final do prato, as sobremesas são divinais e colocam a cereja em cima do bolo numa refeição que começa logo bem com as estradas de chouriço, parte de atum e queijo.
Por este fim do mundo vale a pena ir.

First of all you'll need to book in advance because everyone will end up here. The reason is simple: they have amazing dishes. Yes, it is kinda pricey but so worth it. If you visit Ferragudo you don't want to miss eating here. Not only the chefs but also the staff do a very good job.

The best restaurant in the Portimao area. The best ingredients, cooked by a talented chef, served by efficient, friendly staff. We always go there when we stay with friends in Ferragudo. Booking is often necessary even in the winter.

Juste parfait... Un accueil un peu olé olé mais tellement sympathique... Un petit restaurant dans une petite rue toute blanche... Tout y est délicieux.... La viande fond sous la langue...laissez vous. Conseiller.... Le prix très correct par rapport à la qualité. Hé recommande vivement cet endroit...
