The best restaurant in Portugal so far. Lovely interiour, professional and friendly stuff. Great sangria (real liter, not cheated with ice and fruits), and the best fishes ever. Super delicious swordfish, John Dory and salmon. Worth it, recommended.

Great little place in Albufeira. One of the best fishes in a long time. The fish with banana is an odd combination but it works really wonderfully well!

Net terug van albufera heerlijke week gehad daar en lekker gegeten 3 x geweest bistro telkens weer terug omdat we het erg lekker ,en gezellig zitten was rustig fijne plek super bediening van de gastheren verwennerij ,en idd mooie prijs zalm was super lekker ,kortom echte aanrader ff zoeken smal steegje maar echt de moeite waard ! Très bon restaurant, sans rabatteur devant (rare à Albufeira apparement).
Petit restau avec du charme, cuisine très bonne, serveur parle francais, prix tout à fait abordable, je pense que c'est un des rare "vrai" restau non attrape touriste.

After reading the glowing reviews we decided we had to try it. We went later, around 9:30p on a Friday night and were able to get a table right away. The tuna appetizer is delicious, just note that it's like most canned tuna and mayo you would make at home (I was simply envisioning something different). The carrots that go with are amazing! Our meals were the best we had during our stay in Portugal. The atmosphere and ambiance is warm and inviting. We loved the location; on a quiant cobble stone street, one block from all the action in old town Albufeira. So many reasons to go including stolling the streets, shops or ducking into one of the many dance clubs before or after a meal. Wonderful experience!

Excellent moment dans ce charmant restaurant d’albufeira. Carte équilibré, service impeccable (Portugais, français, anglais, espagnol...). Le repas était très bon et la sangria exquise ! Je recommande grandement.

The best place we found to eat in Albufeira. The atmosphere in the place was really nice and relaxed. We were looked after very well by the staff. The food tasted amazing and there were generous portions. Very reasonably priced as well. Highly recommend it

Happened upon this nondescript place for dinner (no one out front begging you to come in). Vladimir our waiter, & his brother who own it, were very attentive and offered good suggestions for our meal & vino choices. Large portions and delicious! Recommend making a reservation as it was totally full at 7:30pm. You won’t be disappointed

Fantastisch eten. Kleine kaart maar geweldig lekker! Vanavond lamskoteletten gehad, flinke portie en uitstekend medium gebakken. Waarschijnlijk wel de beste die ik tot nu toe heb gehad! Mijn vrouw had een pasta carbonara besteld, grote hoeveelheid, hete saus maar zeer de moeite waard.
Probably best restaurant in town.

En plein centre d'Albufeira les restaurants sont légion mais beaucoup semblent être des attrape-touristes. Dans une petite ruelle à deux pas, beaucoup plus calme, vous trouvez ce restaurant au service impeccable, le serveur parle français. Les plats sont simples mais bons et surtout le prix est très raisonnable. N'hésitez pas à faire les quelques pas supplémentaires pour visiter ce petit resto

It looks nice and the food is probably good. But apparently I do look like I don't have enough money cause not I'm not 50 y.o. but 30 and wear Adidas t-shirt. The waiter kept ignoring me and my partner until we decided to leave. He looked at me at least 4 times but still hade time to do everything else, cleaning tables etc. but not take the order after 10-15 minutes.
Ageism? Homophobia? Or just rudeness?

Depois de perguntar até que horas podemos comer, eles diseram até as 22:30.
Nos chegamos as 22:00, perguntamos para jantar e disseram que já não daba para jantar porque não habia mesa e ja era tarde.

We were not impressed here. We got the lamb chops and they were tough and chewy. We couldn’t even finish them. The best thing were the fries. We would not return.

Went in here on our first night wife had chicken skewers I had chicken in mushroom sauce both were very nice my food came with an interesting twist on chips they were like thick crisps but soft, curly and very nice I will be going in there again

Went based on the reviews. Excellent food and service. Rather than offering lots of dishes done poorly, this restaurant offers a good range but limited selection done extremely well. We were a party of 7 with 3 young kids and a vegetarian and we were catered for very well. Highly recommended. There are so many restaurants to choose from in this area and like most we were not sure where to go. Very happy we chose this place

We found this place over Google and right after we finnished with the meal I had to write a review since everything was as other people said.
Very friendly staff, amazing seafood (had the salmon in pastery and GF had monkfish with shrimp) and very reasnoble prices.

By far the best meal we had during our stay in albufeira. Friendly staff. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. We walked in off the street and were lucky to get a table. Starters of mushroom with bacon and soup followed by steaks, ordered medium and cooked perfectly washed down with red wine. Followed by desert, cocktails and Irish coffee. Would recommend booking in advance as it is a small place and they turned people away while we there. Ten out of ten.

Un des rares resto de Albufeira qui ne soit pas attrape touristes. Accueil chaleureux, on parle français et c'est très bon. Le seul hic c'est que les plats ne sont pas très dépaysants! Ça ressemble plus à une carte parisienne que Portugaise. D'où le nom sûrement.

Me encantó , en medio de locales de turistas con comida malísima se encuentra escondido en una callecita este maravilloso restaurante.
Comida casera buenísima a un precio bueno.
Los postres increíbles con un emplatado de 10.
Recomendadisimo , pocos restaurantes hay de este estilo en albufeira.

Super restaurant ! Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés ! Bon acceuil, une petite carte qui laisse tout de même assez de choix pour tout les goûts ! Mais qui dit petite carte dit produits frais et je vous le confirme. Tarif très raisonnable. Je vous le recommande !

Très bon accueil. Une ambiance chaleureuse. Et une cuisine à la hauteur de l'accueil. Dénote complètement par rapport aux autres restaurants d'albufeira. Allez y les yeux fermés. Un plus, le serveur parle très bien le français.

Quel acceuil chaleureux et discret ! Une attention à chaque moment pour ne pas déranger les convives. Quant à la cuisine : un vrai délice. Tout est VRAIMENT fait maison. Un "BACALHAU " tendre et bien accompagner. Je vous conseille la vrai sangria maison Blanche avec des fruits frais aussi bon
À déguster que la boisson en elle même. BRAVO.

Sin lugar a duda un sitio tranquilo en el casco antiguo. Se trata de un local pequeño y con mucho tránsito que pese a estar en el caso antiguo no se encuentra en las calles más tumultuosas lo que le hace el lugar perfecto para disfrutar los pocos pero buenos platos de los que dispone.
El menú en si no es caro, nosotros cenamos allí dos personas, un paté de pato con oporto, una brocheta de frango con arroz, frango con salsa de setas, coca cola, cerveza por 37€.
Si tengo que poner alguna pega, sería que la camarera andaba algo despistada y nos trajo la cuenta de otra mesa, algo sin importancia y resuelto sin problema.

This is a great little up market venue. The menu is small but with a nice range of meat, fish and pasta dishes. Beautifully presented, lovely staff, great food. Lovely quiet and relaxing ambience. Mid-priced. Well worth a visit.

I come to Albufiera every year and wish I had discovered this restaurant sooner fantastic food, presentation and service very professional and friendly, my friend and I had the salmon and pork in a mustard sauce followed by chocolate fondant, to die for, had to visit twice and definitely be back next year.

There are many restaurants with big crowds in the square, but if you are looking for good food rather than a jovial atmodphere, give this place a try. We had the salmon in pastry with cream sauce and mushroom. It deserved a Micheline star. We did not wait long. Service was very friendly. Price was good too. We'd definitely recommend.

Delicious food, cozy ambient and fantastic service! Located in an alley close to the historical center but far enough to escape the crowd. Loved it!
