Friendly staff, a bit slow considering that I was only person sitting outside, didn't seem to be many tables indoor, but the salad was good and the just perfect.

The food was horrendous, I ordered pasta and was given.... I don’t even know what. Honestly, would not recommend this place. You’re better off making pasta from the supermarket. There are no excuses for the poor experience my family and I had. DO NOT EAT HERE.

Describing the restaurant as terrible is a compliment. Closing the restaurant would be doing society a favour. DO NOT GO! Tourist trap hell! The worst Italian I have eaten. Buy yourself a jar of pasta sauce and some packet pasta from the supermarket and it will be better and you will be doing yourself a favour.

Frequentei esse local várias vezes, durante anos. Mas hoje fiquei triste, serviço muito fraco, só duas mesas e o serviço demorou, a sopa de minestrine sem sabor nenhum, água com legumes, a pasta estava muito boa, a atendente preocupada com telemóvel, os saleiros quase vazios e sujos. O queijo ralado veio em recipiente sujo de molho de tomate seco. É pena um local tão agradável, merece mais atenção por parte dos colaboradores.

Muito mau, serviço muito lento 45 minutos de espera e só havia 2 mesas ocupadas, pedimos 2 fantas veio 1 de lata e outra de garrafa, pedimos 2 imperiais sem nos dizerem que não tinham, estiveram a vazar cerveja de garrafa para dentro dos copos e não vinha fresca, multibanco fora de serviço numa zona turística de Faro, simpatia deixa muito a desejar a única coisa favorável foi mesmo o sabor da comida, não recomendo e não vou voltar...

Die Pizza ist viel kleiner und teurer als üblich. Wir haben über eine Stunde auf die Pizza gewartet und bevor uns ein Besteck gebracht wurde hatten wir die schon aufgeschnittenen und teilweise kalten Pizzen bereits verspeist. Die Tische wurden entweder gar nicht abgeräumt oder das Geschirr wurde auf einen Tisch gestellt und dort gelassen. Mit "Bella Italia" hat das also gar nichts zu tun!

Restaurante digno de que lo visite Chicote... Es un desastre. Es grande, pero lo vimos vacío. Vimos 4 cambios de camareros durante el almuerzo, eran lentos y no atendían a pesar de ser varios. Lentos. La comida es de mala calidad, pusieron lechuga claramente pasada en la ensalada, daba asco. Da una idea de la calidad de los ingredientes. Y como colofón, pedimos café para llevar y dijeron que no era posible de malas formas. El dueño debería pasarse más a menudo. Chicote, tú puedes!!!

Péssimo atendimento, a empregada foi rude, quando não ignorava a mesa. Esqueceu-se de.parte do pedido, que acabou por levar 1 hora a vir para a mesa, nem desculpas pediu. Quanto à comida, seria mediana se pelo menos os ingredientes fossem frescos! Em suma, experiência horrível!

First time visiting this restaurant. My first impressions were wrong. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The front of house staff spoke very good english and provided us with an English menu. The food was delicious, we actually watched our meals being prepared in front of us and then stone baked. The pricing was absolutely fine and very reasonable. The building itself looks a little run down and could do with some care to bring it up to a better standard BUT this does not detract from the food and customer service experienced.

Eten was prima. Maar de gastvrouw sprak geen Engels. En ipv red wine kwam ze met white wine aanzetten. Ook ophalen van vieze borden of verschonen van bestek werd niet gedaan. Daarnaast ook nog eens 3x de rekening terug gegeven omdat dat niet klopte. Was geen goede avond. Maar het eten was prima.

Food was ok but service was awful. Our server was very short and rude. Its like she hated being at work or cannot stand tourists. After getting our food and drinks, she never came back to check on us and then we had to flag her down when it was time to pay. We could of drank another glass of wine, waiting for her. She was also rude to me when I tried to hand her my credit card to pay. " NO CARD!!!", she said. " ONLY CASH". Bad experience.

Bife de vaca bastante rijo, demorou cerca de 30minutos. O hambúrguer é de ma qualidade. A lasanha "caseira" é feita apenas com queijo e fiambre e ainda por cima estava crua. Num dos pratos estava um arame da escova de arames usada para limpar os tachos. MUITO MAU.

Made a huge error coming here on the first day when so hungry and during lunch time, so many places were closed before setting up for dinner. Food was greasy, table area outside is questionable for cleanliness and received glasses but I drank from the can as they were dirty.

So disappointing. Went on a Sunday evening, the spaghetti bol was so basic and not worth 12euro. The roasted chicken was freezing and clearly just put in microwave for 5 seconds. Only thing that was nice was the chips. Waitress not friendly at all. Do not waste your money.

We arrived here and sat outside at lunchtime, we were the only ones there. Took ages for someone to come out and serve us, I put this down to them being short-staffed but as it turned out there were loads of staff standing around talking inside. The experience became worse when the food came out and was plonked unenthusiastically on our table. It was just pasta and ham we ordered for our son. It was just dry pasta with a few slices of processed ham on the side. I wouldn't dream of serving a meal that looked and tasted like this to guests in my house, let alone to paying customers in a restaurant. They should be embarrassed.

Awful, slow, bad quality ingredients, looks like a bad joke... They do not know how to cook a basic pizza. I watched the cooker (Just has the function, not know how), waiting for takeaway... I should not have, total shame !! It is a (bad) trap. Don t think of it even 1 second.

Kleine Portionen trotz für eine Pizzeria hohe Preise. 4. Nudeln wenig bis gar nicht gewürzt. FAZIT: komplett enttäuscht, raten ab diese Gaststätte zu besuchen, in der Nähe gibt es viele einladendere Alternativen.

Nous avons attendu 50 min alors que nous étions seulement 8 en terasses pour des pâtes qui netait pas du tout bonne ! La patronne ou serveuse a était désagréable du début à la fin ! Je déconseille !! Un couple à côté de nous est parti au bout de 20 min d'attente car il nous jamais eu la carte et personne est venu les accueillir...

La pizza preparata sul momento lascia ben sperare, ma quando la mangi capisci che non è il loro mestiere. Come in molti altri locali del posto, non si può accedere con un cagnolino di 2 kg e questo fa capire quanto preistorici sono.

The food is okay, but the service is awful!!! We had to wait an hour for 2 margarita pizza's because after the first 40 minutes they gave us the wrong order and also people who came after us got served straight away! This may have been because we were foreign and so it did not matter how we were treated. The service is so poor it's not worrh the wait for the food. I highly do not recommend this resturant.

How do I start, perhaps just avoid at all cost, as the local McDonald's alone surpasses it beyond measure. The one star given is for the food, of which was okay... when you finally get it that is. The service was non-responsive at best, whilst downright non-existent for the most part. We visited this establishment twice during our stay in Faro. The first night the restaurant was moderately busy, and as such we put the particularly slow sevice down to a lack of staff. As the food was okay, we decided to try it a second time, as we fancied a Italian style pizza; with it being quiet we expected to receive a quicker service. Unfortunately I was proved wrong when the wait for drink and food were equally long (despite few customers present). On top of that they messed up our orders completely, having to remake them (she repeated my order to me correctly at the table)... apparently two margaritas was too complex? Many were served after us, recieving their meals and finishing before we even saw our own; the service was, without a lie, the worst I have ever experienced. I have never walked out of a restaurant before, but this brought me ever so close; if only my Portuguese was better to argue my point! Ultimately, if you fancy a culinary experience, of which you will never forget... and not for the right reasons, choose Restaurante Bella Italia in Faro!

Food was pretty good quality. Don't get the ravioli because the meat tastes fake. Waiters are nice but the service is horrible. After forty minutes of waiting for our food, we were told that their system crashed and they lost our order. It was clear that their system never crashed and in fact they were lying. We then had to put in our order again and had to wait another twenty minutes. Thus, we waited one hour for our food. They never seemed sorry for such horrible service. When I got my change back after paying, they gave me a million coins back. Think how heavy that is!! Inconsiderate. But, would recommend their mushroom, parsley, and Parmesan penne (forgot name). Terrible service. You all lied because I saw the electricity working when you said the 'system crashed''. He wrote it down so if you put it in the system he could've just looked at the papers and made our food. Their card machine doesn't work and we are in the 21st century. Don't come here.

Comida buena, servicio HORROROSO. El camarero un caos, 4 veces tuvimos que pedir que nos trajera 2 vasos para una botella de agua. Servicio lentísimo, tuvimos que entrar a pagar dentro por no esperar mas, nos dieron cuentas de otras mesas y nos cobraron cosas que no pedimos. Un cuadro. The worst restaurant where I ever been. I waited with my girlfriend about 1 hour for pizza and at the end they told me that they don't have pizza, which we have ordered... One of the waiter is terrible.. You have to wait for menu 20 minutes, another 20 for the drinks and if you are lucky one hour for your food.. Good luck.

So while in Faro, we noticed a familiar Restaurant name from back home; we decided to give it a go but regretfully it was most certainly the worst experience during our stay. A family of four, we ordered salmon, swordfish, and 2 pizza's. The pizza's were generally on the small size but acceptable (but more about this in a moment). First of the salmon which we queried if it was on or off the bone. The waitress checked and then came back to say it was boned. When it arrived it was probably the smallest and thinnest piece of salmon I'd ever seen. Texture was very dry (over cooked) and low & behold 5 good size bones in it. Next the Pepperoni pizza which came freshly cooked with a fly baked in to it. Halfway through my family eating their food we had to ask where the swordfish was? Turned out it hadn't been ordered! This took a further 10 mins to arrive. Partway through our meal, a French lady with 2 young boys sat next to us. She waited at least 20mins to be served (asked for a bottle of water) and pizza's. Really felt sorry for them as it took some 40 mins to get their water and no idea when their food arrived as I'd left by then. However a couple who came after them ordered & ate well before them! Finally a comment from one of the French boy's who visited the establishment's toilet facilities and said in French (my daughter translated) 'there's no sink to wash your hands in in the washroom'. Upon requesting the bill, I asked to speak to the Manager to request a discount for the poor service we'd received. Despite several proclaims that you cannot expect customers to pay full price for what appeared to be consistently poor service, the Manager refused to budge. Reluctantly we paid full price (we were offered free desserts but at this point we really didn't want to stay here any longer than we needed to). I hope readers reviewing my post will find it useful; my recommendation would be to avoid eating here at any cost. There are plenty of other much better quality and affordable restaurants in the vicinity that will suffice.

Acima de 30 minutos de espera por uma omelete mista (uma água fria ficou morna no tempo de espera). O preço não justificou a qualidade do produto e do serviço prestado.

Restaurant attrape touristes... attirés par la carte nous nous sommes installés en terrasse.. nous demandons les plats du jour que le serveur a l'entrée nous a proposé : pas de plat du jour.. nous prenons d'autres plats qui arrivent après 40mn d'attente alors qu'il n'y avait presque personne.. nous demandons du pain : pas de pain...... cher par rapport à la quantité et la qualité des plats.. et pour finir serveuse peu aimable et erreur sur l'addition.. .

Comí spaghetti y estaban malísimos, hechos sin cuidado, con el tomate aguado, insípidos. Además me sentaron fatal al estómago. Personal muy antipático. Tuve que esperar mucho tiempo a pesar de haber poca gente en el local. Es una pena, porque el local es bonito y acogedor, y la terraza está en buen sitio, sin embargo, en cuanto a la comida (por lo menos el menú del día, que es lo que yo pedí), es un lugar para no volver.

An addition to this review. I have found that this company has 3 small restaurants. All the restaurants are understaffed at the important hours, all the places interior are in major need of cleaning, upgrade, and employee scheduling. One of their restaurants has moldy green carpet looking as if it came from the 50's. Bathrooms are up stairs and not good for any form of handicap people. As I was sitting there last night a fat old man walked into the area of the outside eating area. His hair (what he had left) looked like it had not been washed in a few months. His shirt was dirty and unbuttoned to the middle of his fat body. He stood in the middle talking very loud to someone inside. Many of the customers had very bad comments and one table left. I have never seen such a slob .... disgraceful! I asked around as to why the staff let him into the restaurant; I was told that that he was the owner. SUPRISE!! Need I say more? In Spite of the sloppy loud owner, the foos was excellent. As well as producing American style sauces, I am a consultant to restaurants and a food critic. A little too clean. Homemade pizza was okay (not great) but the crust tasted soapy. Must have cleaned the counter without rinsing it. Service was fast and price reasonable.
