We loved the space! Ambience was fantastic and the service was phenomenal. The food itself wasn’t our favorite in Porto. The filet was cold by the time it was served, however the seafood pasta had a wonderful sauce and the staff was kind enough to split it into two servings. We really enjoyed the wine and the restaurant was easy to locate. We went on a Monday night and it was a very very quiet and low key restaurant, however that seems to be the case of any restaurants in Porto on Monday or Tuesday. I’ll reiterate that the service was wonderful.

Restaurante prometedor mas desapontante. Em primeiro lugar as entradas foram sublimes (espargos + queijo de cabra). Infelizmente a refeição foi menos espectaculares daí em diante. Os pratos foram mundanos (arroz de vitela c/ cogumelos), a sobremesa (bolo de chocolate) pareceu-nos sensaborona (fica a sugestão de retirar os frutos secos e fazer acompanhar com gelado de baunilha) e o café Nespresso uma desilusão. A carta de vinhos é boa, mas curta. O preço não é simpático para a experiencia, se melhorasse seria perfeitamente adequado para o tipo de conceito que pretendem ter.

Cozinha de bom nível. Ambiente calmo. Serviço muito simpático. Pouca variedade nos pratos à lista. Preço algo excessivo.

Fomos no âmbito da Restaurante week e gostámos muito. O atendimento muito simpático, a comida deliciosa e o espaço muito bonito. Verdadeiramente teatral. Vale a pena uma visita.

1). This place does NOT have a tasting menu. 2). It is glaring bright, with mirror tables that shine in your eyes. 3). They served me an awful dessert, a “brownie” that was basically chocolate flavored flour, which I did not eat, and told them was inedible. 4). They did not remove that from the bill, which is the private reason for this negative review. This is a restaurant gliding on its former reputation. It’s not awful, but it’s nothing like previous reviews or articles might lead you to believe.

I can believe the establishment was considered good in the past but it’s methods and approach are a tad out dated, heavy and pretty one dimensional. Service staff made valiant attempt to explain the dishes in English but didn’t do them justice. Decor is rather ghastly too.

Restaurant gastronomique et très Gourmet de haut niveau. Accueil chaleureux et agréable, personnel très gentil. Ambiance feutrée et douce. La qualité de la cuisine est plus qu'honorable, je suis tombée sous le charme. La dégustation du vin qui accompagnait le menu était excellente. Véritable voyage culinaire.

I knew that we wanted to do at least one exquisite haute-cuisine meal to celebrate our time in Portugal and, while there could be several good options around the country (in Lisbon, Madeira, and the Algarve), Porto just seemed like the place to do it. So, I hit up the Michelin guide, seeking the best of the best. After perusing the one-star options in town, I actually decided to forego them for this Michelin-plated restaurant located in the Hotel Teatr And boy, did I not regret it! This meal was fantastic -- perhaps one of the top 3 of my life, and I'm actually surprised that this place does not have at least one star. It is on par with -- and even better than some of -- the Michelin-starred experiences I have had. It has it all: wonderful atmosphere and ambiance (a sort of sophisticated-whimsical take on theatrical motifs), superb service, and innovative but comfortable dishes. The flavors and ingredients (featuring seaweed, hake, truffle, sea urchin, veal, lamb sweetbreads, and more) are varied, fresh, and perfectly cooked... not to mention beautiful eye-popping platings! The price is not cheap for the excellent 6 or 8 course tasting menus (plus multiple extra small bites from the chef!), but also not exorbitant considering the quantity and quality experienced here.

This is a hidden pearl. You enter that heavy entrance door, you can’t even get accostumed to the low light and you enter an interior patio, a oasis of peace and light. Then the best of what you can expect happens. And it’s so quiet and peaceful. You’ll enjoy it at lunch, and you won’t feel like leaving.

The food was amazing and the atmosphere was cozy. The staff was friendly and had good knowledge of the products that were served.

Отличный ресторан для особенного повода! Были в ресторане Palco в пятницу в июле 2017. Столик резервировали за несколько дней. Несмотря на большое внимание к себе со стороны всего персонала, чувствуешь себя комфортно, они улыбчивые и рады пошутить) Мы выбрали сет-меню из 7 блюд и сопровождение вином. Было несколько комплиментов от шефа, все очень вкусное и изысканное, подача воздушная, вино замечательное. Желе из шампанского со свекольной шипучкой - детский восторг у взрослых)) Только приятные впечатления и воспоминания. Спасибо шеф-повару и всему персоналу за приятно проведённый вечер! Замечательно изысканно Остановились с мужем в отеле Teatro, где и расположен ресторан. Спустились поесть, так как в город уже не было сил ехать. Кухня оказалась удивительной! Все очень вкусно, обслуживание отличное, хороший выбор вин. Накануне были в ресторане michelin на побережье, но здесь кухня понравилась больше и подача блюд. Не зря ресторан удостоен премии golden fork.

Espaço agradável, muito bem decorado, confortável e com bom ambiente e ótima atmosfera. Staff extremamente prestável, simpático e profissional. Comida, saborosa e muito bem confeccionada. Pratos bem apresentados. Só não atribuo pontuação máxima pelo facto de mencionarem possuir estacionamento gratuito e ao chegar ao local somos confrontados que se pode usufruir mediante disponibilidade, aconselho retificação e transparência.

Sem movimento e música ao vivo muito boa!

Simplesmente excelente, um dos grandes segredos do porto, mesmo no centro da cidade um restaurante impar, com uma decoração soberba e uma cozinha optima, o atendimento prima pela rapidez e simpatia, não há como não gostar.

We had a nice evening here, celebrating my birthday. The place has a pleasant warm colored décor, kind of old-fashioned, but in a positive sense, a bit like visiting your wealthy aunt and uncle. Service was friendly, soup was delicate of flavor and the main dish (fish and sea food plate for 2) was tasty, though to our feeling a bit too small for 2 pp and the original price (33,00) but as we had a special reduction of 30% through The Fork app, it was fine. Desserts were excellent, we had maroon tartlette and the ice cream was great too. We were served a cake with candle and 2 bubbly glasses for my birthday, which was very nice and very generous - so that made us leave happy.

Had their lunch menu and was really impressed. The starter and the main dish were top class, the desert was average but nothing to complain about taking into considerstion the quality of the other two dishes. The service was very welcoming and polite and the prices are very good. I would definately return if I had more days here in Porto.

Gostei do espaço e um atendimento 5*. Quanto ao resto acho que precisa de melhorar um pouco para os preços que pratica. E rever a carta de sobremesas. Demasiado pobre...

El restaurante esta dentro de un hotel de lujo. El menú de medio día es sencillo , pero tiene un precio accesible para el sitio donde esta.

Restaurant gastronomique avec des tarifs très abordables le midi, même si les plats sont plus simples à cette heure. Le service est irréprochable et très personnalisé pour seulement 27€/pers (le midi). De plus le restaurant étant caché, l"ambiance est très calme et feutré, c'est très agréable. Ce n'est pas bondé de touriste et c'est une bonne chose. Je viens tous les ans à Porto cette adresse fait partie de mes préférées. A ne pas manquer selon moi.

이 호텔 투숙하면서 디너코스 먹었습니다. 미슐랭에 소개되었다고 하더니 가격은 착한데 맛은 훌륭합니다. 6코스, 8코스 있는데 저는 6코스 먹었고 와인 3잔 마시고 58유로 나왔습니다. 숙박객은 좀더 할인되는 모양이더라구요. 가성비는 사람마다 생각하기 나름이지만 저는 굉장히 만족했습니다. 말이 6코스이지 아뮤즈부쉬랑 빵까지 나오니 엄청 배불렀습니다. 더불어 호텔 조식도 가격 대비 아주 훌륭합니다. 호텔 투숙하는 내내 배터지게 잘 먹었습니다. :)

Accidentally we landed in our hotel's restaurant, intended to have a simple dinner because of the rain outside. It ended up with a very big surprise of gourmet experience. We enjoyed all the dishes and were so inspired. The tableware used were also highlight. Service was excellent as well. Breakfast here was terrific too. All in all one of the best restaurants in Porto. One star candidate. Will be back definitely.

Great gourmet restaurant with superb tasting menu. However, no flexibility for vegetarians. I asked if they could give me the tasting menu as well as a vegetarian version (which I think one can expect of a Michelin star restaurant), but they couldn't do it. Instead, I had plain pasta with tomato sauce as a main course.
