Visited due to recommendation and exceed my expectations . The Tasting menu did look amazing but I will need to return to try it again.
They have a secluded outdoor area which is stunning and peaceful. Cannot recommend enough. A must try if you are in Porto.

남편이 찾아서 간 레스토랑.
직원들도 친절하고, 샐러드와 오징어 요리를 시켰는데... 정말 인생 맛집입니다!!
아이들 파스타에 콩나물과 베이비채소가 들어있었는데.. 완전 맛나구요.
샐러드에 파스닙과 순무, 식용꽃 루꼴라에 트러플소스 끝내줍니다.
양이 적고 가격이 좀 있지만.. 재방문 의사 100%입니다!

Incredible. Theatrical desert, great balance of flavours, amazing staff, thoughtful details. For foodies and even hipster-phobic Palas liked it. Kieran didn't arrive though.

We loved this restaurant so much we came back twice! Amazing innovative cuisine that is Portuguese influenced but stretches into modern International fusion. I’m proud to say we are everything on the menu! On our 2nd visit we also ordered 4 desserts even though we were full because they all sounded so amazing. And they were. I can’t wait to come back here to try them again. Foodies, try this place!

We tried the 55 euro tasting menu which came with about 7 courses all told. Each of them were rather inventive with the black garlic a highlight for me. It wasn’t the cheapest in the area and the pacing was also somewhat slow, hence the 4 rather than 5 stars.

No se si os pasado alguna vez que sales de un sitio y te da pena irte porque te ha pasado algo especial que no vas a olvidar en la vida. Pues eso nos pasó ayer a nosotros aquí.
La decoración del restaurante mínimalista muy agradable, pero aquí se viene a comer y eso se hace de lujo, con una inigualable relación calidad/ precio,comida , sin duda un futuro estrella o estrellas . Entienden el negocio para hacer disfrutar al cliente con excelente atención y comida. Hablando de la comida pedimos el menú de degustacion, nos cambiaron un plato de paloma que no nos gustaba sin problema, de entrantes unas rocas buenisimas(perdonar mi mala memoria no recuerdo los ingredientes) luego cabeza de cerdo, tal vez lo que menos nos gustó, pero estaba buena, y el tercer entrante una croqueta espectacular, continúamos con un ajo negro de las pedroñeras SUBLIME de primer principal un Abadejo perfecto de cocción con una salsa (de esas que pides un tupper lleno para llevártelo a casa) a continuación la carne, mi mujer se pidió carne madura de 45 días exquisita y yo carrilleras de cerdo glaseadas, no tengo palabras para definirlas, los 2 postres a cual mejor. Si todo esto os parece poco quiero Mencionar el trato de Sofía y Joao, grandes profesionales, el en los fogones y ella en la sala. Pero como personas encantadores, si la comida fue un lujo la charla que tuvimos posteriormente fue impagable. Muchísimas gracias Sofía y Joao. Sin duda nos volveremos a ver.

We had high hopes for this place based on the reviews but just about everything, from food to service, was mediocre. The homemade bread we got to start tasted stale. The starters were the best part of the meal, particularly the toast and the wild mushrooms. We had the wild pigeon as a main, and it was hard to cut into and even harder to chew. When we told the waitress about it (she herself had recommended the dish to us), she simply nodded and walked away.

A comida estava muito boa, especialmente o arroz preto de peixe. Mas tb as sobremesas eram ótimas.
Fica bem localizado mesmo no centro do porto, numa casa bem recuperada mantendo os materiaos originais.
O ambiente é calmo. Fomos bem recebidos.

Fashionable, well presented and peaceful. Lovely backyard garden. I had a Bolognese but they didn't have any Parmigiano cheese which was disappointing. Food was ok otherwise. Lunch menu was nice but a bit expensive to become an everyday place to go to.

Quanto a mim...de momento, o Melhor que se pode encontrar no Porto!Ainda não a estourar pelas costuras....Grandiosa cozinha,serviço impecável(não me lembro do nome da menina que nos serviu...era TOP)espaço em sim de um gosto requintado,simples e harmonioso!!!que dizer.....o CHEF de uma modéstia que ainda me faz apreciá-lo mais!!!!a caldeirada de grão com peixe e caril.(menu do meio dia)...um poema!Não falando no jantar que tive o previlégio de compartir com amigas do Porto e da Suiça!Aproveitem e desfrutem enquanto não está abarrotado!!Deixo aqui uma aposta:no próximo verão...tem que reservar com meses de antecedência-:( Tiro o meu chapéu....-:)Abraço e sucesso(sei que vão ter).Lurdes Wüst

Todo muy bonito emplatado pero la comida escasa y sin sabor.
Pedimos el menú degustación de 10 momentos (pases) o eso dicen ellos.
No es normal que el pan con mantequilla y los"snack del chef" lo llamen momento.
Tampoco es normal que te terminen con 3 postres.
Si quiero dulce me voy a la confitería.
No me explico que un restaurante que quiere estar entre los mejores de oporto tenga un servicio así.
Entre algunos pases tardaron más de 10 minutos.
Como sigan en esa línea se convertirá en un restaurante para turistas despistados
Lo único bueno que me llevo de esta experiencia es el trato del camarero de sala.

We did the tasting menu of 14 moments here. I thought most of the things tasted very good. I was perhaps expecting a little bit more regarding som of the dishes, and at times there were too much of a wait between the courses, but when we left we were happy. The staff wast pleasant and we got good wine recommendations. We also bought their olive oil that they used with the bread. It's really good when you can do that in the restaurant. My favourite course was the chestnut pure, it was so good!

Ademanes en extremo "elegantes". Esta bien que se cuiden los detalles, especialmente si te los van a cobrar, pero me psrece excesivo que te quiten el agua de la mesa para que te lo sirvan las camareras cuando se percaten de que tienes la copa vacia.

Une tres bonne decouverte, une excellente alliance de saveur et beaucoup de surprises. Cela vaut largement certains restaurant gastronomiques de France. Laissez vous tenter par le menu 10 plats me le sil est dommage que l'huile et le beurre soit considérés comme un met sur les 10. C'était vraiment excellent, du haut niveau. Allez y c'est un rapport qualité prix que vous ne trouverez jamais chez nous en France.

Uma delícia de almoço!
Não tínhamos muito tempo, portanto pedimos o Menu Barão, um almoço completo por um ótimo preço 9,90.
Inclui convert com pão sourdough e azeite da casa, creme de legumes que estava divino, prato principal e café.
A sobremesa do dia também estava divinal, tarte de caramelo e flor de sal, com massa de quinoa.
O atendimento também foi 5 estrelas!
Vale muito a visita - tanto para quem está de férias e quer um almoço agradável, como para quem está com mais pressa mas quer comer bem!
Voltaremos certamente :)

Llegas a Oporto un poco a ciegas sin saber dónde buscar, de quién fiarte...
Pues ven a comer el menú del día a este Restaurante de Vanguardia.
9 euros sin postre, 15 con vino y postre.
Un servicio al detalle, una comida sabrosa y delicada en un ambiente que mezcla rústico y acogedor.

Excellent meal with some wonderfully inventive dishes (the corn paste and pepper sorbet starter a particular highlight). Relatively good value as well for the standard of the dishes on offer. All the best to the team at Almeja, will be back for our next visit to Porto!

This restaurant is a must if you are in Porto. Everything about the food was amazing, and the service was incredible as well, with the entire staff paying attention to every detail. The chef even delivered our food and checked on us a few times throughout the evening. If I were in Porto longer I would go again and try new dishes!

We had a lunch menu here. It did not exceed my expectations. First plate -salad - was interesting a bit spicey, but second plate was a bit disappointing- my boyfriend had chicken which was not different from what you do at home, my calamar plate was a bit boring. Dessert and wine were good. Water is not included in menu. Overall, menu seemed us too expensive for what they offered. We preferred other restaurants.
