The location is amazing and the food is outstanding with perfect presentation. Had the lunch menu and it was simply delicious. The rest of my family tried the risotto, octopus and fish. All very delicious. The service was top notch. A special mention to Mario for providing us with excellent service. The desserts were simply delicious. Definetly a highlight of our trip. Overall an excellent experience.

Fairly arrogant service, but attentive and fast. Atmosphere amazing, great views over the valley river. Be aware they will charge an extra €4 per person for convert on top of all menus. Group costs roughly €48 per person excl. of water & drinks. Price to value is not great. Ability to adapt to the clients different needs also rank positive.

Comida e atendimentos bons, ambiente sem sal e caríssimo.

Very pretty restaurant with a view of the river. Perfect service - friendly and helpful. The breads were so good. I loved the cornbread with goat cheese and walnuts. The olive oil was so tasty (and the waiter was nice enough to refill ours more than once). I went with the tasting menu. I thought it was a good deal at the price with the courses and port pairings. The scallop starter was sweet and the almonds added a nice crunch. The port tonic was a nice pairing. The veal portion was big. The port with it was very nice. I liked both desserts we tried and have come to love a tawny. If you are looking for a delicious meal and a perfect experience, this is your place.

Hoy hemos comido aquí, hemos pedido un menú de 30 euros y aquí mi experiencia: la comida no estaba mala (aunque por ese precio, comes mejor en Oporto, la carne no estaba al punto que la habíamos pedido). El servicio lo peor de este restaurante, hemos tardado 1 hora y media en comer, tardaban en traer el vino, algo raro para estar en una bodega, he tenido que insistir para que me trajeran el segundo plato, después de pasar casi media hora después de comer el primero. Parecía que el servicio no estaba cualificado, inédito. Los postres que incluían el menú, no nos los hemos podido comer, ya que después de media hora de comer el segundo plato, nadie vino a decirnos que queríamos, y después de tanto esperar, nos hemos cansado y hemos pagado sin haber comido los postres, porque no podíamos esperar otra hora más. Esto si estuviera el restaurante lleno lo entiendo, pero estando con menos de 15 comensales en el restaurante, me parece una falta de respeto al cliente. Al final la cuenta, ha sido 68 euros para dos personas, sin comer los postres, las vistas lo único bueno, la comida aceptable, pero un servicio de 0, no lo recomiendo, no es lo que mereces, por ese precio lo mínimo que esperas es que los camareros vengan a preguntar qué quieres, te traigan la comida a tiempo y que estén atentos de ti, tardar dos horas en comer es un respeto y un insulto a los clientes y al resto de hosteleros en Portugal.

Acabamos de comer aquí, han tardado una hora y media en traer la comida aún estando el restaurante semi vacio, nos hemos tenido que ir sin comer los postres porque no los traían. Restaurante muy bonito, pero mucho que aprender en servicio y trato al cliente, no se puede tener a un cliente esperando dos horas. No lo recomienfo, por ese precio, se come mejor y con un mejor servicio.. Temos apenas comido aqui, eles tomaram uma hora e meia para trazer a comida, mesmo quando o restaurante está meio vazio, tivemos de ir sem comer as sobremesas porque não os trouxeram. Restaurante muito bom, mas muito a aprender no serviço e atendimento ao cliente, você não pode ter um cliente esperando duas horas. Eu não recomendo, por esse preço, você come melhor e com um serviço melhor. We have just eaten here, they have taken an hour and a half to bring the food even when the restaurant is half empty, we have had to go without eating the desserts because they did not bring them. Restaurant very nice, but much to learn in service and customer service, you can not have a customer waiting two hours. I do not recommend it, for that price, you eat better and with a better service

We got the 30€ lunch menu (starter/main/dessert/wine) here and were not disappointed. It's a good — though a little bit expensive still. If you visited Taylor's, it's a good stop.

Krásná stylová restaurace na jihozápadní části Porta, součást nejstaršího vinařství Taylors, které se zabývá pravým portským vínem. Suroviny - hrozny pocházejí výhradně z oblasti Duoro. Skvělá kuchyně, výborná o sluha, krásný výhled na Porto a řeku Duoro.

Vista fabulosa sobre a ribeira. Comida excelente. Não fiquei fã do menu degustação com vinho do Porto. Decoração muito estranha, ambiente pouco acolhedor.

Top lunch. 5 star experience. Ate here after the self-guided tour of Taylors cave. A lovely experience. Unhurried, great food, good and very professional service, friendly but not obtrusive. Given the quality of the good, it is good value. We had the lunch menu (3 courses and glass of wine €30 each, with extras / couvert, aperitif & a bottle of ruby port all for less than another €20 each) One of our best meals in nearly 3 weeks in Portugal. Highly recommended.

O ponto mais forte deste restaurante é sem dúvida a localização com uma vista privilegiada sobre o Douro. Desiludiu no entanto em muitos aspectos. A refeição não foi nada de especial. No meu prato principal (Surf & turf) a carne estava boa mas a lagosta estava bastante má. Os funcionários são simpáticos e educados mas pouco atentos, sendo quase necessário pedir para servirem vinho ou retirarem os pratos. Ficou a sensação de haver falta de funcionários para atender as mesas. Para completar, havia um grupo grande a fazer muito barulho, o que apesar de não ser culpa do restaurante, tornou o ambiente bastante desagradável. As estrelas da refeição foram as sobremesas que estavam muito boas. Resumidamente, quando se paga 55€ por pessoa espera-se muito melhor do que aquilo que foi apresentado.

Lamentable! Por la calificación decidimos venir a este lugar y nos desilusionamos. El lugar es bonito y tiene buena vista, pero la comida no es nada espectacular. Ademas, sentí que faltaba personal atendiendo mesas o simplemente no eran lo suficientemente atentos con el servicio. Estuvimos 20 minutos con nuestras copas de vino vacías... era casi vergonzoso tener que levantarnos y servirnos nosotros. Luego, tenían 3 mesas con personas gritando y haciendo brindis, lo cual afectaba la tranquilidad de la velada. Si bien esto no es del todo culpa del restaurante, podrían haber manejado la situación o al menos acercarse a pedir disculpas. Son cosas que se esperan de un restaurante de esta clase, que no es barato... nos salió €113 para dos personas.

Excelente localização, serviço e confeção!

Moins charmant depuis les travaux... Personnel un peu moins accueillant, carte des vins moins fournie, menu moins "gourmand", pas de service sur la terrasse en tous cas le jour de notre passage... Un peu déçus par rapport à ce que nous connaissions de longue date!!

ワイナリーのテイラーズに隣接した高級レストランです。 テラスからは景色は見えますがいまいちです。 ランチでしたが、エントリー２品、メイン２品、パン、グラススプマンテ、白ワイン、ウォーター、エスプレッソ２品で90ユーロ➕チップですので、それなりの高級感です。

The Chef's menu was excellent and the service was almost as good. It was a Tuesday night and maybe the A team had the night off. The wine flight was very good but didn't pair up with the food as well as I had hoped hence the 4 stars!

Date du dîner : 8 févr. 2020 Décevant, la viande trop sèche et trop cuite, l'entrée 2 coquilles Saint Jacques, dose minimum, le goût de truffe totalement absent des petits poids, les trompettes de la mort sans goût, l'accord des vins de Porto n'est pas très réussi. Cher et ils nous font même payer le stationnement, une honte. Le décor de la salle en hiver le soir est triste comme les catacombes, seule la vue sur la ribeira vaut le coup.Une arnaque pour touristes..

Uma armadilha para turistas, caro e mediocre. Jantei ai numa noite de Fevereiro 2020 e fiquei estarrecido com a mediocridade do Menu Taylor's de que eles se gabam. So a entrada foi correta mas em dose minima - 2 vieiras salteadas. O resto é melhor nao mencionar. O prato principal foi um exemplo de desastre gastronomico - o vitelao seco e duro, o acompanhamento sem sabor e as ervilhas trufadas de trufas nem o cheiro...Ou entao era o do sovaco dos servidores de mesa a quem nao aprenderam a tomar um duche e mudar de camisa antes do inicio do seviço - um fedor ! Enviam os clientes para o estacionamento do Hotel Yeatman que pertence ao mesmo grupo e até têm o descaro de cobrar pelo estacionamento. Uns forretas de péssimo quilate.A EVITAR. FUJAM.

깔끔하고 대접받는 느낌. 음식은 비건 메뉴가 따로 있고, 비건/논비건 할 것 없이 너무 맛있음(다른 곳에 비해 덜 짬). 알레르기까지 사전 파악해줘서 세심하다는 걸 느낄 수 있었음. 가격은 싼 편은 아니지만 합리적이에요!

Excellent service, excellent menu, excellent food, and excellent port! This is a little off the main tourist route along the river, but highly worth the diversion for an excellent dining experience at a reasonable price considering the high quality.

This restaurant is part of Taylor’s wine cellars. We went on Christmas Day for dinner. The views over Cais de Gaia and Porto are amazing! We really enjoyed the vegetarian feijoada (bean stew) and the pappardelle with oyster mushroom and black truffle, as well as the aveludado of black chanterelles (cream of mushroom soup). The wine list is not extensive but interesting: we had a Soalheiro sparkling rosé wine (vinho verde) and finished with Port wine (LBV 2014 and Vintage 2008) as dessert. Service was friendly, but not as attentive as one would expect in such a high-end restaurant.

서빙과 제공되는 식기들의 수준도 높은 편이고, 음식도 마찬가지로 상당히 공을 들인게 보인다. 가격 또한 합리적이다. 영어와 포르투갈어를 편하게 할 수 있다면 서버들과 많은 이야기를 통해 음식의 디테일(굽기, 염도 등) 조율할 수 있어서 좋다.

We chose the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairing. The first two courses were good and the last three were very good. The veal was the best veal I've had. The service was friendly and good, but they didn't describe any of the food when placed. When when we first arrived and sat down, no description or summary of the menu, simply a "what would you like". I would recommend, but I think they can improve the soup and egg dishes, as well as add a little formality to the service. Again, very friendly and laid back experience.

Nice view and decent food with not too expensive price. It's not the most amazing food but you will enjoy yourself enough.

Extraordinary kitchen, dishes are original, top quality, carefully presented on the plate. The house wines (ports) go very well with designated dishes, the bread for amuse bouche is baked in the house, waiter comes with a nice tray for you to choose the ones you like. Service makes the whole experience perfectly complimented. The ratio price vs overall experience is very good. We took the menu with wines (54e) and we had one of the best restsurant experiences ever. Coffee in the end comes with 2 little pasteis de nata. Perfect ending of the evening with the view.

The view is excellent as the wine and service. Go for it. I was treated like a king. Great moment. But to be honest the vegetarian main courses are not on pair. I can't recommend the place if you're vegan or vegetarian. There isn't enough complement on the ingredients to have all the essential amino acids to create complete protein and for my curry it was kind of fade. I'll blame it to the Porto tasting.

Depois das obras de melhoramento ficou espetacular. Bom ambiente, boa comida, muito atenciosos, flexíveis no horário das visitas. Ideal para grupos estrangeiros.

The atmosphere was excellent. Even with all the construction nearby the view was lovely. The restaurant is modern, open and airy. We were approximately 20 minutes late to our reservation but we had called ahead to let them know and they were still able to accommodate us. We had the tasting menu with port. I found the port wine pairing very interesting having previously only had port after dinner. They paired the scallop dish, which was excellent, with a dry white port tonic. The next course was veal filet. It was very good but the sauce was overly salty. The dessert, a caramel creme brulee with a quenelle of raspberry sorbet was very good. I particularly liked the sorbet.

Servicio muy lento. Hemos tardado dos horas en comer y sólo habíamos pedido un entrante a compartir y dos platos principales. La comida no está mal pero la espera no merece la pena. Las vistas bien pero tampoco justifica el comer ahí.

Accueil quelconque, mal reçus alors que nous allions pour les 85 ans d'une personne. Plat avarié (sanglier) que nous avons fait retourner en cuisine, le temps qu'un nouveau arrive, les autres étaient déjà au dessert évidemment. Cher pour ce que c'est. Dommage car nous avions eu été très bien reçus par le passé. La vue reste jolie... un vrai attrape touriste désormais malheureusement.

Ambiente muito simpático. Fomos bem atendidos, o serviço demora um pouco mas a gastronomia é muito boa. O Taylor's harmoniza muito bem com o menu servido. O menu é limitado mas bem elaborado.

The food was delicious. The chef deserve respect for is work. The place is clean and classy and the view outside is breathtaking. It is worth the price.

Ресторан авторской кухни-замечательная подача и оформление, очень хорошее обслуживание,прекрасная атмосфера и интерьер, очаровательный вид на Порто с высоты.Не ставлюоценку 5, только потому, что не все блюда показались оригинальными по вкусу-но баранина и десерт были великолепны. Рекомендую любителям высокой кухни, комфорта, респектабельности. Дорого- как для Португалии, но по сравнению с ресторанами такого уровня в других странах Европы -вполне приемлемо.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. I've been rating my favourite restaurants from around the world and this gets my third 10/10. The location is amazing and the food is outstanding. Had the tasting menu and it was simply delicious. The service was fast, friendly, and efficient. One of my all time favourite restaurants.

PRECIOSO, CON LAS MEJORES VISTAS DE OPORTO. COMIDA REGULAR Es el restaurante de las bodegas Taylor’s y el nombre es el de uno de los fundadores de la bodega, allá por el XVII. Se encuentra en un alto de Vilanova, a unos 15 minutos andando desde la ribeira. Si, como es frecuente según el día, está cortado el tráfico en la calle Diogo Leite, en la ribeira, ir en coche es un poco complicado porque se debe rodear todo el pueblo, así que, en este caso, encomendaros al GPS, aunque una buena opción es coger un taxi (5€) y después bajar andando. Es un restaurante precioso y elegante y tiene una de las mejores vistas de la ciudad de Oporto. Es un lujo accesible comer en su terraza frente a esas vistas, un verdadero deleite, una experiencia verdaderamente extraordinaria. Su cocina es clásica portuguesa actualizada, a un precio un poco alto, como corresponde a un buen restaurante, y este es de lujo. Sin embargo, ofrece de lunes a viernes al mediodía un menú del día (en Oporto le llaman menú ejecutivo) por 30€, y comprende dos platos, postre y bebida (una copa de vino), que fue nuestra opción, y que nos decepcionó: un sopa común y corriente, una merluza (pescada) que evidentemente había sido congelada aunque se comía por la buena salsa de ajada que la acompañaba, y un postre que no dejó recuerdo; una calidad que no se corresponde con el prestigio del restaurante ni con el precio. Creo que es mejor apañar un buen precio con la carta, compartiendo algún plato incluso, aunque salga un poco más caro. Las instalaciones, tanto el interior como la terraza, extraordinarias y el servicio solo bien En todo caso creo que es un restaurante muy recomendable, uno de los mejores de Oporto, aunque solo sea por lo gratificante que resulta comer ante una espectacular vista de una ciudad preciosa también en toda su perspectiva, en todo su conjunto.

Restaurant located inside Taylor's winery, with less signage shown. Stunning view, especially when you picked balcony area for lunch / dinner. Food are tasty with nice presentation, but service standard is more like a casual style.

Razoável em todos os aspetos menos nos preços que são puxadotes.

Das Essen war exzellent und der Service auch. Es wäre fünf Sterne wert gewesen, wenn nicht mittendrin eine ziemlich laute amerikanische Reisegesellschaft mit ca. 50 Personen eingetroffen wäre. Diese verhielten sich sehr laut und unbekümmert. Es wurden lautstarke Reden gehalten und laut Beifall geklatscht, so dass die Menschen an den sechs anderen Tischen kaum noch den Servierenden verstehen konnten. Schade! Für ein solch gutes Restaurant geht das überhaupt nicht. Entweder geschlossene Gesellschaft, oder ein extra Raum wären nötig! Ähnliches habe ich noch nie erlebt! Habe bereits viele gute Restaurants in Frankreich und in Deutschland besucht!

I was expecting much more of this restaurant : very big disappointment. I must be part of the percentage of customer not being well treated. 1. We have been placed on the terrace and despite the cold outside, waiter told us every thing was booked inside.at the end of our meal it appeared several tables were still available. 2. Waiter forgot to serve the starters we had ordered, so we skipped them. 3. Main plate he served was not the one ordered 4. Taste of the meals we ordered was not exceptional and was not worth the cost. At the end, We felt like we were not important customers, just good to pay. This was a very bad experience we don't wish to other future customers. This restaurant doesn't deserve its reputation.
