The restaurant looks very appealing with the window show chasing their assortment of fish, lobster, crab and shrimp. We didn’t get the warmest greeting when we walked in and we didn’t have a reservation but after waiting just a few minutes we were offered a seat at the bar.
They served bread with some delicious looking spreads but being gluten free we weren't able to enjoy the bread, however there was a charge on the bill for the bread they had served and we didn’t eat.
We ordered a few oysters that were so delicious then followed it up with a crab platter... the way they served it on an open platter filled with ice looked sharp. I have to admit we had no idea our food was being served cold from the case in the window... for some reason we were expecting fresh cooked and warm, with that said it was a great experience trying new things! Our crab apparently lost a claw somewhere along his journey so in exchange they gave us each a scallop.
It was a bit pricey for what you received but the place was packed so clearly it wasn’t effecting business.

Very nice dish for 2. Crab mix with Gamba‘s , sea snail etc. Very good but there was nothing really accompanying the dish like vegetables, rice chips or pasta. That was the only negative thing. Wide selection of wines was well received. Would come back and ask for the missing issues.

Такого разочарования у меня не было давно . Ребята мне не принесли то что я заказал , принесли то что я не заказывал . Блюда поданные ( я такого не видел в жизни ) были холодные , это касается ВСЕХ блюд . Я спросил почему , и официант убеждал меня что холодные краб , морские желуди и лобстер вкуснее . Мерзость страшная . . Худший рыбный ресторан

Si te gustan las ostras, el marisco y el pescado, este es tu sitio en Oporto. Sin experimentos ni sabores alternativos, pescado al horno o a la plancha con verduras perfectas. Relación calidad/precio adecuada.

The fish I had was really nice, despite a simple one. The staffs were helpful as well who showed me the fish of the day and the wine based on my preference. The time to serve the food is acceptable (in 20mins) comparing to other Portuguese restaurants I tried.

Mediocre food, poor selection, slow service. Three fish to choose from in a town known for the great selection of fish it has to offer. Not reasonable prices, nearly a 100.eu for a lobster. (smallest). The fish by grill was anemic. The vegetable soup needed spicing. The bread was nice. Not enough fot 40 eu per person. (no vine included).

En Rua da Fabrica 73, y a tan sólo 4 minutos de praça da liberdade se encuentra este magnífico restaurante, que si vienes a Oporto y quieres comer buen marisco, tienes que visitar.
Y es que en Oporto, las ostras de la Ría de Aveiro son una de las estrellas. En "Ostras & Coisas" se sirven de diferentes maneras, crudas, y en ocasiones, también he podido observar ( en la carta) al vapor.
Pero el "Ostras", especializado es pescados y mariscos, tiene también en la carta, langosta, rodaballo, lubina, percebes, cigalas, mejillones, almejas, gambas y zamburinas, estas traídas desde Galicia.
Si te surgen dudas a la hora de elegir, lo mejor es optar, por uno de los mix para dos personas. Todos tienen gambas, canillas, percebes y, por supuesto, buey de mar, principal de la mezcla.
El pescado fresco, que llega de Póvoa, siempre expuesto a la entrada, lo puedes elegir allí mismo y te lo hacen en el momento.

Excellent food, friendly service and reasonable prices.
We hadn’t made reservations and we were lucky to be offered a couple of seats at the counter. The fish and seafood was fresh and well cooked - the wines were great and so were the desserts. If you like seafood, you must try this restaurant and meet its helpful staff.

3년 전에 왔다가 맛있어서 또 왔는데 그대로네요. 중국인이나 한국인 손님 많고, 저녁엔 예약 안하면 살짝 웨이팅이 있더나 바에 앉아야 할 수도 있어요!
2인 이상 올 경우, 50유로 짜리 해산물 모둠(쉐어) 요리를 시키고 식전요리 몇가지 먹으면 양 괜찮았습니다. 크렙이랑 랍스타 선택할 수 있는데 크렙이 조금 더 싸요. 그리고 오징어튀김 (fried squid) 꼭 드셔보세요!!! 튀김옷이 엄청 바삭한데 오징어집 과자맛 나는데 맛납니다. 포르투 와서 그래도 한번쯤은 분위기 내서 식사하고 싶다면 여기 좋아요!

I loved the old school waiters who were at odds with this restaurant which was striving to be a high end seafood bar with the hip hostess. The waiter we had was outstanding and helpful and five stars to the guy. Sadly we didn't particularly enjoy our meal which was a little soulless and less than outstandingly fresh. The bread and garlic toast were great though. If I were to go again, we'd order fish rather than the cold mix and that would probably change my opinion completely.

I was at this Restaurant with some Friends during our one week stay in Porto. The day before we left we thought it would be great to go out to eat in a fish restaurant as a nice finish to our vacation since we have been cooking our meals in the apartement the days before that ... honestly if I had known what would happen I surely would have preffered Dinner at Home. One of the waiters had such a negative radition you almost didnt want to even speak to him, one of my friends asked him for a fish recommendation and he honestly told her she "should finish her soup (Starter) first and then we can talk about the fish" (more in a commanding than in a recommending way), the guest should decide when to order his food and Not the waiter, right?! Apart from that the soup she was eating had absolutely no seasoning in it, and tasted even worse than the cheapest vegetable broth in a supermarket. Price-Performance-ratio was Bad, way too high prices for the quality and amount of Food that was giving to us. And on Top of all that i havent been able to eat anything since I ate some of the shrimps here because my stomach hurts like crazy since more than two days now accompanied by serious diarrhea. I can DEFINETLY NOT RECOMMEND this Restaurant, the one Star i gave is only because the Ambiente was quite ok.

看着谷歌推荐过来的，点了个海鲜饭，诚实的说里面的虾还是挺新鲜的，饭就太差强人意了，除了海水的咸味，什么味道都没，难以下咽。鱼是新鲜称重了，煎的。反正上菜的时候是冷的，里面内脏没处理好，很腥很哭。鱼和米饭做的确实差。建议尝试别的海鲜。体验就我点的东西来说，很差。

Seafood is decent but over priced. There are definitely better places in town, but this was our first stop so we didn’t know better at the time. The hostess/manager was frosty at best. We went late without a reservation. Funny thing was, they were open for another hour and a half and no other reservations came in. We asked to sit at the bar she said no, that was reserved. She said we could wait for a table but it would be a while. All in Portuguese btw, which makes complete sense. Then a family came in without a reservation and she let them sit at the bar. And the tables that kept leaving remained empty. Eventually she sat us and magically started speaking in perfect English. I’m not sure what we did to offend or why they didn’t want us to eat there. Regardless, our server was pleasant and the food was as mentioned decent seafood. On our bill we were charged for more expensive beers than the ones we had. When we asked what they were (unfamiliar w the brand) another server explained that was the bread. Except the bread charge is the “couvert”, already on the bill. We gave up, paid and left.

Amazing restaurant. This is very nice place. Stuff is welcoming and extremely professional. Atmosphere in the restaurant make you feel yourself in a very expensive place, much more expensive that it actually is. I recommend everyone to visit this place if you want to try fresh and delicious sea food in the center of Porto.

해산물 요리를 전문으로 하는 고오급 식당입니다. 가벼운 마음으로 갔다가 지갑도 함께 가벼워져서 돌아왔습니다. 맛은 아주 훌륭하고요, 서비스는 더욱 훌륭합니다. 1층이 만석이어서 2층에서 먹었는데 서빙을 해준 Sergio는 정말 프로페셔널 하고 멋졌습니다. 덕분에 스타터부터 시작하여 디저트까지 코스를 알차게 먹고 왔습니다. 모든 코스를 다하여 2인 100유로 정도 생각하시면 될 것 같구요. 맛은 정말 훌륭합니다. 특히 디저트 꼭! 드세요!!

Amazing seafood. Me and my boyfriend ordered 4 oysters as starters and calamari fritti which were divine. We then ordered the crab mix platter which was excellent! We didnt like the fact that they place food on your table before ordering which is not on the house. If you take it you would need to pay for it. Luckily we knew about this and avoided the food. We were very full and extremely happy with our seafood choices. Would definitely recommend!

Perhaps not the cheapest and there was a bit of an extra wait for the table but Sergio at the main bar definitely knows his stuff; if you manage to get a word with him ask him for recommendations and his Port suggestion to round off an otherwise excellent meal.

Todo estuvo muy rico. Nosotros fuimos cuatro a cenar y cenamos a base de tapas, pidiendo unas 6 o 7. Al ser marisquería el precio es superior al resto de sitios de Porto pero salimos por 20€/cabeza. Lo más destacable es que el pescado y marisco es fresco del día!

Wonderful experience with delicious food. The John Dory was cooked perfectly. Scallops were great. Sea urchin is hit or miss, I think the smaller size urchins are better with more orange flesh. Service was excellent!

포르투에서의 첫끼엿어여!!! 분위기가 좋고 되게 상견례하러 가야할 거같은 고급진 곳이에요~~ 음식맛은 해물이 굉장히 신선해요 에피타이저로 홍합(크림화이트와인) , seafood soup 땅끄니랑 딴노박섴운 맛이에요
그리고 고기는 굉장히 맛잇어요! 그리고 seafood rice 시켯는데 따뜻해서 좋앗어요 맛은 대체로 염쩐맏이에여짭혀옷짓게짜혀 거의 바딷무르수준 값이 좀 나오긴해요

마지막날 저녁 지나가다 우연히 들어간 해산물식당. 현대적인 실내가 눈에 띄고 얼음에 쟁여있는 해산물들이 신선해보여 무작정 들어갔습니다. 예약 안했다고 하니까 2층으로 안내해주더군요. 시간이 금요일 9시쯤 이었는데 1층은 바의 일부 빼고는 꽉 차 있었고 2층도 한 테이블만 비어있었어요. 2층은 좀더 아늑하고 오래된듯한 느낌이었어요. 굴과 모듬 해산물, 추천해준 화이트 와인을 시켰는데 친절하고 해산물도 신선하고 맛있었어요. 음식 나오는 시간은 좀 오래걸렸지만 해산물 좋아하시면 가보시는거 추천합니다. 옆 테이블에서 해물밥을 시켜 먹는데 맛있어 보였어요. 저희는 배가 불러 안먹은게 아쉽네요..

Highly overrated. We had vegetable soup and grilled prawn for starters.. at 22 euros I expected more than one big shrimp cut in half.
We ordered a grilled sea bass. The waiter came over and filleted the fish. He obviously didn't know how to do it, as all I got sea bass mush... Very disappointing.
Maybe we ordered the wrong things?... the table besides ours ordered oysters, and seemed to be enjoying their meal.
If you want good sea food in Porto, you got to go to the fishing port at Matosinhos!

Theシーフードレストランです。シェア用にシーフード盛り合わせが4種類あり、カニが美味しいのはどれかと聞くと、Mix crabをオススメされたのでそれを注文。ベルベットクラブはかなり小さいようです。日本で食べるカニのようなカニ味噌はないものの、肉厚でプリっとしたカニが堪能できました。地元の人というよりは観光客で賑わっていたので予約をオススメします。

Had a good lunch at Ostras & Coisas Restaurante. The products were fresh. We ate a crab and 6 gambas. The overall price was OK. I was a little surprised to discover that we had to pay for the couvert (2€ each).

Don’t go here! The restaurant was almost empty, but we were told to wait for 5 minutes, because a table had to be prepared. After being ignored for 10 minutes we still had no table, absolutely terrible place. Didn’t even try the food... maybe it’s because we came in with 2 children (who love seafood..)

连续3天来这里吃3次 实在是太好吃了， 价格也实惠 生蚝生吃2块钱一只 蒸的2.20€ 烤的2.8一只 扇贝1.9一只 ， 比烟还大的老虎虾22.50一只， 那个crema 汤 6块钱强烈推荐我喝了5碗了， 炸的天妇罗生蚝不推荐 味道和天妇罗乌贼差不多， 乌贼4块钱一份 天妇罗生蚝13.50 ， 海牛螃蟹 味道不错 太大份量， 吃的我像怀孕一样， 连续吃3天 都吃不腻 生蚝每天来 点2次 一次6个 如果你吃完了 还能再吃点 就可以点一份生蚝 如果饱了就可以不点 ， 拿人格保证啊 100%推荐

Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans ce restaurant. J'enlève une étoile car: nous avions commandé des huîtres en entrée mais on nous a apporté notre plat avant, sans trop nous laisser le choix. Puis après le plat, nos huîtres ont été oubliées puis on a fini par nous apporter une toute autre entrée. Ils l'ont renvoyé en cuisine et nous avons encore dû attendre pour les huitres. Nous déplorons juste qu'il n'y ait pas eu de petit geste commercial pour le désagrément (je crois qu'au prix qu'on paye, on peut exiger cela). Sinon c'est frais et très bon.

Nous nous sommes régalés!! Serveurs aux petits soins qui ont su tres bien nous conseiller. Nous étions deux adultes et 3 enfants dont l'aîné à 4 ans et chacun a trouvé son bonheur. Présentation soignée, bon service et mets délicieux (seafood rize, cheesecake...), restaurant à recommander sans hésitation.

Nada demais, pedimos algumas entradas com camarão que estavam boas. Agora o arroz de marisco deixou a desejar, talvez tinha a expectativa que fosse um dos pratos melhores. Por terem sempre peixes frescos. Atendimento péssimo, empregados de mesa não eram amigáveis. Toda hora estávamos chamando, não passavam a mesa. Bem complicado, muito chateada passar uma data especial num ambiente assim. É não foi barato.

Came here solo and knew i had to be selective on the food i choose. I got 6 oysters, a fish broth and a mozambique prawn as my main.
As it was my first time, i wasnt exactly sure how the seafood here works... On the menu its also not stated clearly enough, eg.Theres a section on the menu that says seafood by weight but it didnt say how its cooked and served, which actually was served just cold.
Its not a bad thing to eat them boiled and cold but there was no explanation on the menu.
I was fortunate enough to be brought over to the seafood bar to take a look at the BARNACLES and thus realised the above is served cold. The waiter let me tru one of the barnacles although i must say... It looks weird and scary. Tasted very much like seawater, with a bit of oysters taste but the bite is like squid with a bit more crunchiness to it. Its interesting but ones enough for me!
I had to ask what a velvet crab is as well, which could hv been better if they were explained beforehand.
The french ladies beside me suffered becoz of that. They ordered the shrimp, giant shrimps not knowing that they were cold and the BARNACLES, only to realise that they looked like Dinosaurs claws!
Back to the food, oysters were the best i had for a while, fish broth was ok. Mozambiqie shrimps were really nice as well. Good for 2-3 to share. I paid abt 38€ with a small beer (not sure why they serve everyone a big one but a small one to me, coz i am Asian?).
So overall was good, but room for improvement.

Lovely seafood restaurant. Madigascan prawns were delicious and spicy. The goose neck clams weren't great, too salty. Turbot was great too. Really chic for the area. There are better seafood restaurants along the coast but this is great for town.

여기 보고 포르투갈 왔습니다. 리스본의 Ramiro를 가보진 않았지만 거의 같은 식당 내지는 그 이상라고 생각합니다. 직원들이 엄청 친절하고 식당 분위기 음식 모든 것이 고급집니다. 방문했을 때 저희 테이블 빼곤 모두 예약되어 있었을 정도로 벌써 꽤나 인기있는 식당인 것 같습니다. 해물밥, 바칼라우, 문어만 드시지 마시고 예산에 힘을 좀 주셔서 고급진 저녁식사 시간을 가져보세요. 독일 살면서는 먹기 힘든 생굴과 게를 먹을 수 있어서 너무 행복했습니다. 한국에서도 못 먹어본 거북손을 포르투갈에서 처음 먹을 줄은 몰랐네요.

I first rated this place 5 but now I will change my review to 3. My parther got sick but I was fine so I am not sure if this was an issue of the restaurant. I am always eating oysters and I know that It was fresh. What I did not liked was that everything was inside ice. That make sense to the oysters but when you have cooked food like the shrimps or the crab does not make sense. Everything melted and it destroyed the experience. In every other fish restaurant they serve the oysters in ice but all the rest in plates or disks. If something was infected that is very common in fresh oyesters then everything would be contaminated. As I said everything was very tasty and the quality was good but I feel that I does not much with the price. For Portugal it is very expensive, and It does not much.

Lovely little restaurant with extremely fresh seafood on the menu and knowledgeable, friendly staff who are happy to recommend the wine and food according to your taste. The sharing platters of crab, prawns, whelks and barnacles are delicious, as is the mojito sorbet !

Еда простая. Подавать лобстера с неразделанными клешнями и без спецприборов просто с обычной столовой вилкой и ножом - супер странно, особенно за такие большие деньги. В связи с этим часть мяса в клешне было сырым...Убранства у ресторана совсем нет - выглядит как обычная столовая. Морепродукты свежие. Желания вернуться не возникло совсем, тк приготовить просто на гриле я и сам могу, хотелось бы чего-то интересного, особенно когда до этого пробовал просто супер приготовленного лобстера. Устрицы свежие. Суп с морепродуктами нормальный. Брали горячий микс - он на фото.
Очень даже нечего...
Небольшой ресторанчик в старой части Порту. Прищли пораньше, чем бронировали, пришлось ждать. Очень аутентично! Не скажу, что все блюда понравились, но не жалею, что пришел сюда!

Набрав в интернете обычный запрос "Устрицы в Порту"сразу-же получаешь ссылку на этот расположенный в самом центре, рядом с главными посещаемыми туристическими достопримечательностями города местами:знаменитой башней Клигируш,сквером Жуана Шагаша,площадью Гомиша Тейшейры и книжным магазином с платным входом за 5 евро,послужившим прообразом для Джоан Роулинз в сериале о Гарри Поттере. Посетив эти места вы легко найдете культовый ресторан для фанатов устриц и морских гадов,в котором отвяжитесь по полной, как это сделали мы с мужем, перед отъездом в Лиссабон и Москву.Сама обстановка,окружение и публика располагают к приятному общению.Официанты-сама любезность,показали и рассказали все,как смогли,но не подвели наши ожидания.Демпинговая цена устриц в 2 евро свела мужа с ума,а предложенные раковины Шелл,напоминающие эмблему известной нефтяной компании и свежайшие лангустины на гриле с чудо гарнирами добили его и меня окончательно.Ледяная Малвазия как всегда была бесподобна и приятно дополнила впечатления от съеденного.Место это скорей является культовым,обожаемым как местными,так и азиатскими туристами,бесспорными знатоками изысканной морской еды.Готовят здесь быстро и вкусно,порции соразмерные здравому смыслу.Для местных же посещение ресторана целый ритуал и мы с интересом наблюдали с каким восторгом 2 молодые парочки то ли коллег по работе,то ли просто друзей,делились между собой различными морскими вкусностями,щедро запивая их белым вином.Добро пожаловать в сказку,которую будете помнить всегда.

My husband and I visited here and appreciated the food and the excellent service. It was a weekday dinner time, there were lots of local people and tourists, so I highly recommend booking. We chose from a selection of freshly caught fish, going with the chef's recommendation. This grilled fish and vegetables was fantastic! The oysters were so milky!
The staff and their service....amazing. so kind, friendly and professional.
Thanks to them, I became a much bigger fan of Porto!! Muito bom!

We were here at 20 Dec, and as we understand (after investigation) - we were poisoned by oysters, that we ordered as grilled. Oysters were a bit warm, I'm not sure it was grilled. By the way we were poisoned and suffer 2 days with stomach infection while traveling back to home. Only one who didn't eat oysters is ok. Thanks for the great end of vacation.

포르투 첫 식사로 갔어요,
점심으로 갔었고 예약하지 않아서 bar에서 먹었어요.
해물 보고 주문할 수도 있는 거 같던데 복잡해보여서 Mixed Crab 시켰어요. 처음보는 류도 있었고 소스는 맛있었어요. 게껍질 안에 있는 내장범벅 같은 것을 바게트에 발라먹었는데, 신선하고 맛있었어요 :)
직원들은 친절한 편은 아니었지만 빠르게 응대해주셨어요.

Цены высоковаты, но если сравнить с Мск, то за то качество, свежесть и вкус, наверное даже дешевле. Устрицы 200 рублей, 200 гр креветок (приготовят как хотите) 700 рублей

The best seafood in Porto! The oysters were extremely fresh and the crab pate was fantastic. The only less than stellar feedback would be that they charged us for the octopus salad and bread that was on the table without informing us that it would be an additional cost.

Comimos en la barra de la zona exterior ( tienen un comedor amplio en el interior ) y además de la excelente calidad del producto que ofrecen, los camareros que nos atendieron fueron hasta divertidos... y excelentes profesionales. Gran variedad de mariscos y pescados de máxima calidad a precios muy coherentes con lo que dan a cambio. La selección de vinos es más que buena.

One of my favorites in Porto! Our waiter was extremely helpful, patient and attentive. He very seriously reacted to my request to do every dish with minimum of olive oil and sauce. Also he told me about almost every seafood in menu, so I'm just delighted with the quality of service. My red mullet with boiled vegetables was very good and my companion said that her seafood soup was the best in her life Absolutely recommend this place to all lovers of seafood! Better to reserve table in advance

If you're not a seafood person, the savouring juicy steak was amazingly sided by perfectly cooked rice and black beans. The scallop, sea snails and oysters were very fresh and super tasty (my seafood person gf said so). And the orange brownie and its tangerine sorbet...no words.

European lobster was nothing special. It had no taste, no salt and awful sauce.
Crab's paté was horrible and had nothing to do with crab.
The service was the worst of all. I ordered also some oysters that never came. The tools for the lobsters were brought much later with the napkins. The waiters never looked at the table so that empty plates or the ones with food rests stayed on the table until I asked for them to be taken away.
The restaurant's Manager did not once gave advices to the waiters or looked herself at the tables. She was like a decoration there...
The prices were ok, although the quality was not good.

Iam actually now at the restaurant reviewing it. This place is amazing. The fish is fresh, grilled with olive oil and fleur de sel. Actually real vegetables grilled and tasty scallops and sardine appetizers. Highly recommend for fine dining.

Enjoyed my very first time there by the sea food I ordered and (not sure if not more) by a chat with Poles I met there. My biggest issue was not being able to pick what I wanted as there was a great selection of various sea food which many were completely never heard before. Had to Google the names. Soup as a starter and a mix made my evening.

Great fresh ingredients displayed by the restaurant window, and friendly waiter, Sergio took us to there to explain one by one. We thought it was very nice. Squid Tempura was very crispy, and light. We had lengado (a kind of flat fish) simply grilled, and de-boned at the table. Really reasonable for all those extra service. Highly recommended.

Нормальное место, все было норм, блюда подавались на льду, как и во многих других ресторанах! Заказывали микс морепродуктов и устрицы, все было свежим и вкусным.. и краб был вкусным кроме соуса в голове, ели намного вкуснее в другом месте! Обслуживание было быстрым и внимательным. Удобное расположение в самом уентре и не далеко от жд вокзала,что оказалось для нас удобным перекусом пока ждали транспорт)

Rapport qualité prix un peu excessif... ce restaurant se veut de haut standing mais n’en a malheureusement pas les capacités de part les produits servis ou même le service en lui même (même en réservant nous avons attendu 10min chrono qu’un serveur nous accueille puis encore 5 pour avoir la carte, commander et tenter d’obtenir de l’eau, s’en est suivi une attente de 30min pour commencer à manger...)
La note s’est avérée salée car nous n’avions pas été prévenus du poids du poisson et il nous a coûté la modique somme de 54€ pour un rascasse (d’ailleurs un plat facilement partageable).
Le plateau de fruit de mer est copieux (Velvet).
On notera aussi que la provenance des produits n’est pas donnée.
Une expérience sympathique (d’où les 4 étoiles) mais ne pas s’attendre à de la grande gastronomie et sortir le portefeuille !

Excellent seafood and fish restaurant. Fresh fish on display to choose from, so not everything you see on the menu will be available (which is a good thing). We had grilled fresh flounder between two which I thought was very reasonably priced. Very well cooked and excellent flavour. Waiter was attentive and took the time to explain (in perfect English) all about the different types of fish on offer, cooking methods, wine pairing etc. Good wine list.

Понравилось. Не скажу что шикарно. Есть сифуд рестораны гораздо интересней. Продукты свежие - это основной плюс. Обслуживание небрежное - это жирный минус. Чек до 100 евро за ужин из морепродуктов до отвала на семью из 4х человек считаю вполне адекватным. Второй раз поиска бы другой ресторан.

Quizás nos llevamos una desilusión por lo bien que nos habían hablado del sitio.
Pedimos una mariscada para 2 con centolla. Nos trajeron la mitad y nos hicieron esperar por la centolla más de 20 minutos desde que terminamos lo primero.
La calidad era buena, la cantidad era escasa y el precio era bastante elevado.

Increíble lugar. La comida impresionante, pedimos gambas, riquísimas, calamar en tempura, también muy bueno, zamburiñas, espectaculares. Y de segundo nos recomendaron un lenguado para 2 que estaba brutal. La atención de 10 y el sitio muy acogedor. Si vuelvo a Oporto, sin duda, volvería a escoger este sitio.

Atendimento simpático. Vc escolhe o peixe ou crustáceo que ficam expostos, depois o modo de preparo e os acompanhamentos. Não é demorado, uns 15 minutos de preparo.
O preço é acessível, cada porção de peixe com os acompanhamentos pata 2 pessoas em torno de 40 euros.

We booked our table via the Fork based on Tripadvisor rating. The interior decoration style is erratic and felt sterile. The service was excellent - our waiter was attentive, quick, cheerful and competent. We had three great starters - mules, squid and shrimps. The mules were served in very rich and creamy white wine sauce. The tempura squid was wonderfully crispy with succulent interior. The deep fried shrimps were perfectly balanced between punchy shrimp taste and spicy hot seasoning. Unfortunately the seafood rice was too salty and the tomato sauce overwhelmed the delicate chunks of seafood.

The restaurant had a nice ambience and the staff were polite. For starter we had a lobster that was far too salted - we could feel the grains of thick salt and nothing else really, from the texture didn't taste fresh, was very disappointed. The main was a cataplana, that was well presented, however the fish lacked flavour. Overall was unimpressed and have been in places were food was better prepared and with better flavour and costed way less. Overall feels like an expensive tourist trap. Will not return and would not recommend. Very disappointing!

Estuvimos comiendo una mariscada y la verdad que todo muy rico. Los platos de pescado tenían un aspecto increíble y el servicio muy bueno. Un restaurante muy agradable. Por poner una pega, la Sapateira la preparan con mayonesa y a los amantes del marisco como yo, me gusta más natural. Debe de ser costumbre en Oporto, porque en otros sitios nos pasó lo mismo.

A nicely decked-out seafood restaurant with fresh fish and shellfish on display to choose from. Mozambique grilled prawns were a standout. It ended up being most expensive meal we had in Porto (€75 for 2 for oysters, shrimp and crab and two glasses of wine) but I was still surprised at how reasonable the bill was as the restaurant is quite slick. Service was nice but deducted a star as they forgot bits and pieces of our order (e.g. our side dish for the main).

Voilà, nous y sommes finalement retournés pour y manger et par chance il y avait de la place (presque indispensable de réserver). Nous avons été très bien accueillis et avons mangé au bar. Des huîtres et le crab mix: excellent ! Nous avons même eu droit à 4 Saint Jacques en extra, l'attention est très appréciée . Accompagné de bulles locales, le repas nous a vraiment plu ! N'hésitez pas à demander la mousse aux deux chocolats s'il y en a !

Quando se está numa terra que não a nossa, confiar nas redes sociais, tornou-se para mim, uma actividade rotineira.
Acrescento que mesmo em Lisboa tendo a fazer algumas vezes o mesmo.
Numa anterior ida ao Porto, já de noite, tinha olhado para dentro do Ostras & Coisas, e dito para mim mesmo: não vai falhar. A imagem a partir de fora pelas vidraças, a marca graficamente bem trabalhada. Tudo é estilo e apelo visual.
Assim numa ida mais recente, olhei e estranhei a nota atribuída. Eles sabem lá!

Sábado cedo, início de serviço. Ainda limpezas no exterior, arranjam-se as ostras em montes no interior. A montra de peixes mostra-os de olhos transparentes e guelras ainda bem vivas.
Olhando para o menu optamos pela escolha de alguns petiscos para iniciar, seguidos, de peixe grelhado de seguida.
Optou-se pelos calamares em tempura, zamburiñas e canilhas, seguido de peixe galo.
Tudo tem história. As canilhas são búzios que se podia levar as conchas para casa em criança e estavam acabados de fazer, anda ligeiramente mornas, um pouco de sal a mais. Os calamares são brinquedos, neste caso fritos, num polme espesso com óptima mayonnaise de acompanhamento, mas algo ensopados em óleo, as zamburiñas (e escrevo como os gallegos o dizem), são daqueles mitos que nunca são de mais para mim. Aqui são vendidas à unidade, como as irmãs mais velhas, e são bem exploradas em algo que deveríamos ter previsto ou contabilizado.
O peixe galo, é obrigatório, nas visitas ao Norte costeiro, só que de facto costuma ser mais em Matosinhos. Vinha mais cozido que grelhado, com bastantes marcas de saída do colagénio (“espuma branca”), fruto de uma incorrecta selagem. Poder não comer um peixe inteiro, é óptimo, mas apenas e só se o soubermos trabalhar. O mesmo é válido para o arroz de grelos acompanhante, com verduras escassa e provavelmente pré-cortada, acrescentada a um arroz, que nunca chegou a ganhar sabor ou cor.
A sobremesa acabámos por ir comer a outro lado.

Os olhos também comem. E aqui comem bem. Os restaurantes no Porto urbano, possuem muitas vezes um apelo arquitectónico digno de nota, e isso faz com que os turistas que ainda não guardaram as máquinas desde que saíram da Lello ao lado, acabem a disparar aqui para dentro, quer seja ao espaço quer seja ao peixe.
Nada disso incomoda, e é um ambiente acolhedor, e prazenteiro, com um serviço como se espera (a arranjar o peixe, por exemplo), a ter cuidado extremo com as crianças nas mesas.
Tudo isto no entanto não chega, especialmente se tivermos em conta que o elemento fundamental, a comida, é muito melhor, e muito mais barata ali a uns quilómetros de distância, mesmo em frente ao mar.
Acaba por ser um preço demasiado a pagar, apenas e só por estar no centro da cidade.
