We only had drinks here but the staff were attentive and the white sangria is really nice. It’s a basic place but cool and shady. It is near the road but wasn’t a massive noise or pollution problem.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could, they served all the customers who arrived after us and when we asked about our food they realised they totally forgot about it. We ended up waiting 45 minutes for a mediocre pizza. I wish I read the reviews before I came, obviously I am not the only unsatisfied one.

15 minutos de espera para ser atendidos. 15 minutos más para asignarnos una mesa. Les aviso de que en 1h tenemos que irnos y nos aseguran que nos da tiempo... A los 55 minutos, no nos habían servido y optamos por irnos... No sé si la comida es buena, pero para una urgencia no es... :s

Atención y servicio muy muy lento. Éramos 4 y pedimos 4 platos. A la media hora de haber pedido nos sirvieron 2 platos, y media hora más tarde los otros 2. Le doy 2 estrellas porque la comida estaba rica aunque una hamburguesa llegó fría.

Buena presentación. Comida rica. Cierto que nos hicieron esperar bastante porque estaba a tope. El personal muy amable. Pedimos bacalao a Bras y lasaña y estaba como esperábamos. Los platos en cuanto a cantidad justa como suele pasar en las ciudades grandes, después de venir de otros lugares de Portugal donde las cantidades son mucho más explendidas. De sabor rico. Precio aceptable.

Horrible service. Tried to overcharge us. Orange juice was good, but bread was stale. Overhearing the conversation on the other table was so unbelievable it was laughable. Lady ordered a chicken sandwich, called waiter over to tell him that the chicken had bones in it and she couldn't eat it, he took the sandwich away, came back with another one she took a bite, called him over again to explain that the chicken was full of bones and she couldn't eat it. He went on to defend the dish saying that's how we make it hear, and proceeded to explain using physical gestures that she should spit the bones out on her plate. It was a SANDWICH. Very strange. Staff pretending to be electrocuted when changing the light fittings during service. All round peculiar and expensive experience. Tourists beware.

Cozy and cute place. Unfortunately, there was only one person serving the entire place. The food takes too much time, but the waffle and the crêpe were good. For a coffee it is a nice place. The owner should hire, at least, one more waiter for the staff. The poor waiter was running all the restaurant, doing his best, but it was impossible. I can't imagine this on the summer.

Waren froh, dass wir noch ein Restaurant gefunden hatten, bei dem die Wartezeit nicht mit 2 Stunden angesetzt war.
...eins, das vom Ambiente her recht ansprechend aussah.
Leider war das Essen ein ziemlicher Reinfall!
Hab glaub noch nie so geschmacksneutral gegessen... auch Salz und Pfeffer konnten da nichts mehr retten.
Sehr schade, da wir wirklich Hunger hatten!
Die Cocktails allerdings waren lecker, deshalb der zweite Stern!

Preços exagerados para a qualidade do serviço. Porções pequenas. Tempos de espera a ultrapassar os 20 minutos. Serviço confuso, com os empregados a correm de um lado para o outro. Querem servir mais clientes na esplanada do que aqueles que a cozinha tem capacidade para servir. Pratos portugueses de confecção medíocre. Salada não temperada. Pior experiência dos últimos tempos. Eis um bom exemplo de exploração turística. Preços não inferiores a 20 euros por pessoa (prato principal, bebida e sobremesa) apenas por causa da localização estratégica: o turista estrangeiro, que não conhece a gastronomia portuguesa de qualidade, paga esta exploração toda. Vergonha.

we had four dishes and none of them were good. hamburger was dry and the sauce tastless. hamburgerThe pasta was overcooked. The risotto rice was still too hard and the salmon was not good either. Merely the wine was good.

Lugar ideal si quieres irte de la ciudad con un mal recuerdo.
Puede que te regalaran el postre si encontrabas el único trozo de carne que había en la lasaña y puede que en portugués el queso parmesano sea queso en polvo del supermercado y yo no lo sepa.
Al irnos le comentamos al que yo creo que era el dueño nuestra opinión y su respuesta ,el silencio absoluto.

Uwaga uwaga - szkoda na to miejce czasu i pieniędzy. Tak złej i niesmacznej zupy rybnej nigdy nie jadłem. Nie-smacznej, bo nie miała smaku. Lepsze zupy pewnie podają w szpitalach. Sałatka z ośmiornicą była znośna, ale po tej zupie rybnej to chyba wszystko by smakowało.

No lo recomiendo. Mi hija pidió una tosta de queso y tomate y le unieron un trozo gordo de pan seco, una loncha de queso de las que venden empaquetadas en los supermercados y una rodaja de tomate, así sin más. Yo tomé pulpo y estaba horrible, con unas espinacas hervidas. Además tardaron mucho. En Oporto hay lugares maravillosos para comer, así que no vayáis a este.

Cibo ok, servizio estremamente lento. Locale abbastanza vuoto, eravamo gruppo di 11 persone, vari piatti ordinati tra cui 3 porzioni di pasta alla carbonara. Dopo un'ora iniziano ad arrivare i piatti, con cadenza di uno ogni 5 minuti. L'ultimo commensale è stato servito quando il primo aveva già finito. La cosa peggiore è che non hanno portato insieme neanche i 3 piatti di pasta, ma distanziati di molti minuti l'uno dall'altro. Probabilmente il cuoco cucina un piatto alla volta.

La comida mal, hamburguesas sosas en un pan reseco. La cerveza caliente, se lo haces notar, y te traen otra, pero con mala cara. Para que te traigan ketchup hay que esperar y cuando te lo traen, te dan dos sobres para cuatro personas.
Luego llega el momento de pagar, te cobran una cantidad y no te entregan una cuenta con el desglose de lo consumido.
La exigimos, pues es un derecho, y te argumentan que la cuenta está ya cerrada. Ante la insistencia rehacen los pedidos y no cuadran con la factura final que pretendían cobrarnos, un desastre.
Está en una zona de paso de turistas y eso supongo que les mantiene abiertos.
Como puntos positivos, se les ve conscientes del desastre que tienen entre manos y un atisbo de querer subsanar deficiencias, aunque es claramente insuficiente. Ojalá lo consigan. Les deseo mucha suerte, la van a necesitar.

We had a diner with 4, risotto and cod rice dish were ok. But my daughters ordered salmon and loin steak both served with potatoes and spinach. The potatoes were acceptable but the spinach was burned, the salmon had a very unfresh taste and was topped with some burned lemon stuf, loin steak was also burned and overall not eatable. As my daugther said: " It's the first time in my life I really couldn't finish the fish because the food was really bad"
Only reaction from the staff was: "I will tell the chef"
So don't go there, it's really bad.

Ordered the salmon fillet pasta with pesto, didn't even have any pesto...chef tried to argue that another customer said they had it so I was wrong, so that was an uphill battle. Another in the group ordered mushroom risotto, not only was it drenched in parmaesan and was soggy, it alsp took 45 minutes to get to the table. Didn't have three of the wines they had listed on their menu to order...a clown show from start to finish

Han tardado una hora en servirnos carne rebozada seca como la suela de un zapato con unos tallarines con tomate sin sabor,unos buñuelos de bacalao y una ensalada sin gracia ninguna. Pésima la comida y el servicio peor. No recomendable en absoluto.Le daría un cero pero no se puede.

Echoing what many people have said, by far the worst experience we encountered in Porto - should have checked the reviews before we went.
We popped in for a coffee, and not being greeted by anyone, sat at a table. The waiter came over and asked us if we were eating, and when we told him we were just there for a drink, he said something to the effect of "We don't just do drinks, we're a restaurant. If you're not eating you'll have to go." This response, despite the fact that several other people in the place were having drinks, and that the menu on the outside of the building clearly included a separate coffee section, prompted us to leave.
Don't bother coming here - there are much more characterful and friendly places within a few minutes walk away from the Ribeira area.

Dou saldo negativo pela sua falta higiene, que reparei sala de jantar. Fiquei junto à janelas no qual deparei cheia de mosquitos mortos mesmo encostado a minha mesa foi algo repugnante. Adeverti rapidamente a empregada de mesa para essa situação.
Em relação a comida foram pedidos dois pratos que foram servidos bastante rápido, em primeiro lugar um lasanha que veio com uma boa apresentação e com sabor de seguida um pizza 4 estações servida posso lhe dizer que foi a pior pizza que comi sem qualquer sabor de pizza, um sabor deslavado.

I wish I had the chance to try the food. Went there yesterday at 8pm and an extremely fat waiter was very rude. Very condescending when we tried to order.
Kept trying to tell me what food to order and tried to argue with me over what food to have!
Walked out within 3 minutes.
Honestly the most bizarre experience I've ever had at any food restaurant!!

O atendimento foi mau, o emprego nem nos deixou sentar onde queríamos, paguei 2 euros por uma Coca cola que nem tinha gás e o hamburguer vegetariano era péssimo, não consegui comer mais que duas dentadas. Enquanto estávamos a comer o empregado reclamou com um cliente por estar a subir as escadas para o segundo piso e disse que se queria comer era no piso de baixo. Não recomendo a ninguém relativamente ao atendimento e aos hamburgueres (o meu namorado comeu um com carne e disse que também era terrível).

Atendimento regular, o garçom demostrou pouca vontade de atender, mas trouxe tudo certo. A cozinha trabalha muito bem pq além de terminar em um bom tempo tudo estava delicioso. Éramos um grupo e pedimos hambúrgueres diferentess, todos elogiaram muito. O meu foi o único vegano da mesa e estava espetacular. Voltarei logo para experimentar a pizza !

Wir mussten den Kellner regelrecht anflehen, dass wir bestellen dürfen. Wartezeit für das Essen war okay. Pommes waren jedoch leider kalt. Mussten lange auf neue Pommes warten. Kellner sind nicht sehr aufmerksam - stellen Getränke und Essen ab und verlassen, ohne sich umzusehen, den Tisch.

Food is average but service is bad and the staff not attentive. I asked for a crepe and a hot beverage. They brought the beverage and made me wait 30 minutes for the crepe. Same thing happened to one of the people with me, while the other was served in 10 minutes. This happened while the restaurant was practically empty. Not going back

Although the decoration was pretty, we waited about 10 minutes foe coffees that came out cold. Waited a further 45 mins for 3 simple cinnamon sugar crêpes. Staff are extremely slow and unenthusiastic. Avoid if you don't want to wait long for mediocre food.

We ordered some burgers and traditional Portuguese cheese sandwich (franchesita or smth) it took them about an hour to prepare the food. Food was average, price seemed a bit too high for what it is, but cheaper than at the riverfront.
Some staff members were very nice and friendly, others were not.
If you don’t find space in any other restaurant around - it is ok, but otherwise - not recommended.

I ordered a vegetarian burger with orange juice. Never had an vegetarian burger with caramelized onions and tomatoes. It was just delicious. Guys next to me who ordered pizza were also very happy. They do take a bit longer to prepare but they make it hot, fresh and tasty.

I’m begging you to read this review before you step foot in PIMMS. I certainly wish I had heeded the words of others before this travesty.
My friend and I walk in to PIMMS, a cute restaurant that has Pinterest worthy decor, for a quick bite to eat while waiting for our tour at Palácio da Bolsa. We think pizza sounds good and I tell her I will ask the waitress how long a pizza will take since we only have a half hour. I am American, but speak some Portuguese, enough to get around. I ask in my best Portuguese how long a pizza usually takes and she says ten minutes, gesturing to the pizza oven in the back of the restaurant. So it begins...we order the Bacon pizza which comes with tomato, mozzarella, mushrooms, and pineapple, a cappuccino, and a water. It is 13 euros for only the pizza, I believe. Not more than thirty seconds later, the pizza arrives on our table. I shouldn’t even call it a pizza...upon investigation, there is no evidence of warmth and the crust is still pale; my friend thought she was showing us the uncooked pizza to make sure we were okay with it. She was mistaken. Upon closer inspection, the pizza’s cheese is melted and it’s cut into slices, we assume this is our finished product, and since the waitress left, it appears that it was. After making it a few bites in, we both knew we were only eating for necessity because it was easily the worst pizza we both have ever eaten—salty yet bland, the pineapple tasted like nothing, bacon questionably safe for consumption, and cold. It was at best, a couple of degrees above room temperature. There was no way that pizza was in any oven in the past 45 minutes. We picked for about ten minutes before we decided our bodies couldn’t take anymore. The waitress slips a card to me with a number on it. I assume I am supposed to use it to pay at the counter, but when I ask at the counter if this is where I pay I get told to wait for my waitress. Nevertheless, another waiter comes to take care of me. While settling my bill, it appears that the waitress charged me 4 euros for a beer instead of the 50 cent water I ordered. I correct the check with the man helping me and he asks who my waitress was. I tell him and his body language and tone leads me to believe that my waitress might have been trying to pull a fast one on me since she knows I am a tourist. I typically give people a benefit of the doubt, but this seems a bit coincidental. Nothing felt better but leaving the rest of that sad pizza on its tray and walking out of that god forbidden place. If you are headed to PIMMS for food, which will likely be a hamburger or pizza, save your money and get food of the same (better?) quality by eating the cold remnants of food left on plates waiting to be picked up by a waiter on an outdoor cafe table.

On y a été malgré les commentaires qu'on a vu sur Google et du coup on a été agréablement surpris ! Peut être que le restaurant a été repris car les plats ne ressemblaient pas aux photos qu'on peut voir (on avait de beaux petits morceaux pommes de terre frits et non pas des petites frites). Pour notre part, on a mangé une pizza au thon 11,5€ avec une croûte fine mais très copieuse et un gros hamburger à 8€ qui était très bon également !

The food came out 80 minutes after ordering, and they didn’t give us any compensation for it. It was below average food, not worth the wait. The menu is also overpriced. I do not recommend this place.

Nice atmosphere and neat decor. Friendly service. However, the food was only just average and the service was very slow. It took 2 hours just to get basic meal. Wasn’t worth the wait or the price. Lots of better places nearby to eat.

Stopped by for tea and a snack around 18:00. The place was empty enough that they brought our order to our table but I wouldn't expect table service during peak time. Too many tables and too few staff.
Items on the café menu don't offer very good value. Hot drinks were €2-3 for less than 200ml. Only 4/12 gelato flavours were available. Fully loaded crepe for €5 was very basic.
If you have the energy and/or time, would recommend La Copa for a better value/experience.

We made a quick stop here after like 10 km walking around town. No table service, which was a bit disappointing as we were totally KO! I had to try a franchesina, and definitely a bit too much, but its just me!

I came into this restaurant during a thunder storm hoping to find somewhere to shelter. After I tried to order a wine I was abruptly told I wasn’t welcome there because he needed the tables for other customers. The restaurant was half empty. Quite possibly the worst customer service I’ve experienced in Europe.

트램타고 포즈해변 다녀와서 목 말라서 들어간 곳. 물이랑 콜라먹다가 배고파서 대구구이 요리를 시켰다. 서버가 자꾸 자리를 비우긴 하지만 옆에 그댁 할아버지도 있고 할머니도 왔다갔다해서 불편하진 않음.
소금 줄여달란 말을 미처 못했음에도 간이 적당했다. 다만, 올리브오일이 잔뜩 깔린 저것은 우리나라 사람 입맛엔 많이 느끼할 것 같다. 아삭한 양파랑 먹으면 상쇄되긴 한다.
언어가 통하지 않아도 주문에 문제가 없다. 위치가 큰 길에서 조금 들어간 곳이다보니 할머니가 나가서 호객을 하고 있지만 불쾌한 느낌은 없다.

Restaurant looked inviting with a nice decor, but the tables and space was small. Menu looked interesting but quirky, with some interesting selections. Sitting there, waiting for our meal, we began to realise how cold it was in the restaurant. The food was good and tasty, but quickly cooled. Service was also nice and friendly, but not attentive in refilling our wine glasses. We also thought the dishes we ordered were reasonable; but €4.00 for a Tuna Dip and hard dried Bread as a Couvert, as well as €4.00 for 2 Bread Rolls, Butter and a small plate of Olives seamed excessive. You live and learn!

No está mal el sitio y la comida está bien presentada y bien cocinada, sólo que en el restaurante hace algo de frío con lo que tienes que comer/cenar con el abrigo puesto. Han tardado en servir la comida 35 minutos y es un poco caro para el precio medio que se estila en Porto, la atención ha sido correcta.

Ambiente clean, tranquilo. tem uma area externa também, que estava um pouco mais cheia que a parte interna, bem poucas mesas ocupadas. Atendimento ok, como visto na maioria dos locais em portugal: atendem sem fazer muita questão de fazer mais que a obrigação. A comida demorou mais de 1hora, e quando chegou, nada demais. Bacalhau à Brás um pouco insosso e o meu risoto era um bolo de arroz com um pouco de gosto. Não era de todo mal, só não era uma comida boa e apetitosa.

Voilà un restaurant qui vit sur ses succès passés (prix trip advisor de 2012 et bonne adresse du portugal 2011).
Depuis les choses ont bien changé. Des plats fades et sans grand intérêt. Nous avions commandés du poulpe dans une panure molle et froid, un accompagnement risotto trop salé et une salade sans assaisonnement (pas même de l'huile d'olive).
On a justement demandé de réchauffer le plat et de l'huile d'olive. Le second on l'attend encore.
Finalement, notre seul joie aura été un cocktail à base de pimms, eau gazeuse et citron (très bon ! ). Ce qui lui vaut la seconde étoile

Braz codfish was exactly what we needed after a long trip to Porto. Authentic taste and good portion. I would recommend the place but there is nothing outstanding there.

The worst "service" we've experienced at Porto. Waiter simply had chosen to ignore us for 5-7 mins as he was too busy serving single table of Portuguese speaking guests. Left restaurant without having a chance to have glimpse at menu.

Sauteed prawns were luke warm at best. Tempura vegatablea were cold. They werw taken away and came back still not hot.. only 2 of around 10 white wines on the wine list were available. Mains were ok. Overall very disappointing.

Looks so nice, but do not be suckered in like us! We ordered two sandwiches and two Cokes which came to €23. The bread was so dry and the sandwiches were awful. Our waiter was nice but we just felt watched the whole time. We couldn't get out quick enough...!

Do not go!! It's really expensive and the food is not worth it, plus the staff is really rude and unhelpful. We paid ovet 25€ for 3 sándwiches and 3 waters. Plus we waited almost 30 to be attended. And they never even cleaned our table. Aviod like the plague!!!!!

Wandered into Pimms for lunch and had a nice meal. The two ladies running the front were great. Friendly service and great quality ingredients. My wife enjoyed the cappuccino, which is difficult to do. The meat and cheese plate was superb.

포르투갈의 대표 음식 Bacalhau. 짜다는 말을 워낙 많이 들었지만 이 집 Bacalhau는 짜지 않고 간이 딱 맞다. 약간 짭쪼름한 감자튀김이랑 같이 먹으면 정말 궁합이 잘 맞다. 다만 올리브유가 됐건 아니건 기름이 너무 많아서 드링크 없이 먹으면 좀 느끼하다는 점이 아쉽다.

Nunca comi uma francesinha tão má, e logo no Porto.
Boa decoração e espaço agradável. O calcanha de Aquiles é a cozinha, aliada ao preço acima da média, apesar de zona turística, muito caro.
Não aconselho. Extremamente desiludido

Nous avions suivi le conseil du petit futé et nous sommes aller dans ce restaurant : grossière erreur.
Dès le début, les choses commandées n'arrivent pas (une bière). La serveuse fait une tronche d'enfer car nous avons refusé les "entrées" qu'ils posent sur la table et qui sont payantes. Plus d'une heure (une heure et demi) pour avoir un plat.
Même renvoyées, les entrées figuraient sur la note à la fin. Il a fallu que je le signale pour qu'ils l'enlèvent.
Au final restaurant cher, pour une qualité pas au RDV et un service déplorable.
