O equilíbrio perfeito para quem procura simplicidade e natureza pura numa atmosfera intimista com muito design e um extremo bom gosto. Ficámos na casa de pedra, bastante ampla e confortável, com cama grande e colchão ótimo. Casa de banho luminosa e funcional. O serviço é verdadeiramente excelente (atento aos detalhes, simpático, envolvente mas discreto, sem nunca correr o risco de ser intrusivo). O exterior é natureza pura: ouvem-se apenas os sons do campo. Não espanta que tenha tido tantos prémios e reconhecimentos. Fantástico.

If you ask me what's my favorite accommodation in all of Portugal, I will tell you - without even thinking - that this it it! In the heart of Alentejo, guarded by ancient cork trees, this stunning villa, peeking candidly through the high grass, will take your breath away. The modest looking houses are in perfect tune with its surroundings, and everything is kept to the bare minimum, creating a lovely bucolic atmosphere, and showing a great deal of respect for the nature. The white resplendent walls shine under the bright sunlight, and at sunset, everything reflects golden tone that warms your soul. Inside, the decor is very simple and charming, favouring the same modest look of its exterior, and feels incredibly comfortable. Love and exquisite taste transpires in every detail. And the pool? Is simply out of this world. Such delicate shape and hues of blue, surrounded by luscious grass and wild flowers. Absolutely stunning. At night, while the night nature's sounds mellow your hearing, look up. the sky is simply immense and shiny above your head. If you be so lucky of catching a dark night, you will be amazed how many stars you can see. And what do you do here? Nothing, absolutely nothing. Your hardest decision will be, "Should I lounge by the pool, or should I chill under the shade of this magnificent olive tree?". And then proceed, maybe reading a book, or just relaxing, while being lulled by the mellow sounds of the water running by a brook and the melodic bird songs. It's so blissfully quiet, that time seems to stop. It's the perfect getaway from the busy city life, when you feel you really need to shut from the world, and connect with yourself. I had the privilege of staying two nights on this gorgeous property, in the middle of spring. Right when wild flowers were in full bloom, creating an exuberant backdrop, and flooding the air with sweet scents.The birds and insects frantic activity provided an unbelievable soundtrack. Nature is its purest form... it felt like a dream, you'll need to pinch yourself to make sure you are awake. I should be tremendously grateful that the owners of this extraordinary place choose not to keep it for themselves, and instead share it with others.
