Spent an amazing week surfing at the Surfivor Surf Camp in Esmoriz. Excellent, calm and cozy place just in front of the oceanic beach with nice infrastructure, extremely friendly and professional personnel. Well-thought surf studying program is carried out by attentive and surf-addicted instructors (Eurico, Diogo - thank you guys!). Definitely will come again!

We just got back home from a one week surf camp at Surfivor Esmoriz and must say that it was one of our best experiences ever. In fact, we enjoyed surf school so much that I booked another stay before we even left! Everything is well organized and works smooth like a green wave, the theory lessons are well thought through and every day you will be taken to the surf spot with the best conditions. Everyone in the staff are super friendly and the relaxed atmosphere makes Surfivor Esmoriz perfect in every way. I think we found a second home, see you again in October!

Had a wonderful weak of surfing in Esmoriz. I really appreciated that the staff had always a positive mindset even though the weather and surfing conditions weren’t perfect. Together, we made the best out of it and that’s why I had a lot of fun. I highly recommend surfivors. It helped me as an intermediate surfer to collect more valuable experience and at the same time I enjoyed the great atmosphere at the camp.

A huge recommendation!!! Everything was perfect: from the surf lessons to the hosting. The stuff and the surf instructors are so friendly and very professional, I have learned so much during my stay and it really felt like home! No complaints at all!

Very Nice camp in a quiet and peaceful place. The house is just next to the beach! Instructors were very nice and I really enjoyed my first time surfing ;) I can't wait to come back!

THANKS !!! Surfivor camp (Esmoriz) was such a great surprise! My first surfcamp, the group was awesome, from couples with kids to friends to solo travelers, the place was always super clean (thank you Rosa!), the instructors are fun but serious (thanks Charlie!) and leaving the camp was like leaving a big family. The dorms are a bit small but we were only 4 so it was ok. The common areas are really great, big outside table that can be used even if it rains, big kitchen, fresh grass... It makes encounters really easy. The surf itself was top quality, the waves really good, the theory and trainong too, I would just have loved a video session in smaller waves to correct how we stand. The breakfast is really good quality, never lacking cheese, ham, cereals, fresh orange juice and bread! Some activities like barbecue / going to festival in Porto or to a film festival in Espinho were perfect. But seriously, this is an easy 5stars, don't go to Marocco / Costa Rica / ... go there! For advanced surfers it's still ok, half people had 1 week or more of surf, the other half complete beginners. Merciiiiiii !!!! ps: I confirm wifi is super fast and working properly, they even have two for the guys to use in the dorm which is not the main house but the other side of the garden.

It was a great experience at Surfivor Surf Camp. We will be back for sure next year. Nice Suites room to stay, professional teachers, beautiful Ocean, enjoyable time and activities.

A great place to stay with helping staff and beatiful spaces. Very very close to the beach where to enjoy surfing for beginners and intemidiate levels.

This place is amazing. I spent a week there in June. The staff is lovely and the coaches are very passionate about surfing and spend time to teach you the right techniques. The camp is beautiful.

A very nice place, great location and friendly staffs. Spent two weeks there and really enjoyed the place a lot. About 15 minutes walk then you reach the surfing spot, very convenient.

Really nice place to stay. The weather was a bit cold but surfing was great! The school is nice: after one week you can learn how to surf. Wifi was really bad but the place was clean and comfortable. The only thing was the transfert from the school to the station: it is not from 9 to 20 but there are different times decided by them, so ask it one or two days before. I suggest you to go!

Серф кэмп находится недалеко от Порто (мой любимый город, поэтому для меня было важно жить где-то в "диком" местечке, но недалеко от Порто). 2.5 евро и полчаса на региональном поезде. На станции вас встретят, не забудьте позвонить Мигелю)) Снаряга новая или почти новая, разные категории досок, если есть размер, можно замутить перчатки и обувь (полезно, когда холодно). Есть свой спот в Эшморише. Когда там нет погоды , серфите в Порто на городском пляже, либо в близлежащих городах. Отъезд с утра на спот не спеша. Примерно в 9-9:30 утра. Серф сессии 6 дней в неделю. Группы разделены на новичков и продвинутых. Интересно будет и тем, и тем. Учителя не просто стоят в воде, а реально помогают. Хвалят, указывают на ошибки, общаются, жестикулируют, в общем, сами в процессе сессии:) И сами тичеры довольно забавные персонажи, постоянно шутят над другими и над собой) Каждое утро плотный завтрак. Кофе, свежевыжатый апельсиновый сок, фрукты, ветчина, сыр, булочки и тд. Дом заслуживает отдельного внимания. Места много, удобные лаунч зоны, на веранде лежаки (солнце светит на них как раз после серф -сессий), барбекю (можно готовить там хоть каждый вечер). Каждый понедельник Welcome Party(для двух школ, этой и которая в Порто): сангрия, барбекю и остальные блюда от Surfivor. Для веганов отдельное меню. Мы, к сожалению, попали только на самый конец, все были уже весьма под сангрией) Атмосфера веселая. Все знакомятся , общаются. Нормальный продуктовый супермаркет далеко от дома (километр или чуть больше), но можно арендовать велики прямо в доме (фо фри) и без проблем добраться. В городе есть парк, где можно катнуть на лонгбордах (аналогично, арендуются в доме бесплатно). В дормах есть шкафчики для ценных вещей. Номера достаточно просторные. Если едете в начале или конце сезона, одевайтесь теплее. Возьмите больше вещей на смену. В это время часто дожди (короткие, но сильные, погода у океана меняется несколько раз на день) и в номерах немного прохладно и влажно (дом стоит в 200 метрах от океана). Вещи сохнут медленно. В 30 метрах от дома начинается широкий пляж с океаном и белоснежным песком. Весьма атмосферное местечко! Рекомендую. П.С. Не забудьте взять с собой средство, защищающее от солнечных лучей. Были там в апреле (не сезон), в воде сгораешь моментально!

Nice location with buses going to Porto city and a short car trip to the surf spot. Small and friendly setting. Happy with the surf and guidance from Bruno the man.

This is probably the best hostel I've ever been. Great showers. Free fruit. And the most handsome surfinstructor! This is great for knappies. x

Beautiful seafront location, ace surf instructor, simple but comfortable accommodation, and decent wi-fi.

Have been there for 2 weeks. Was very happy with my holiday. Surf school was really good, experienced, professional teachers. Camp life was pretty cool. Nice rooms, nice people, good service. Loved the BBQ on Monday and all the other activities we did in the evening.

Dopo 2 settimane trascorse al Surfivor Surf Camp di Esmoritz possiamo affermare che una vacanza così divertente era da un po’ che non la facevamo. Siamo partiti da assoluti principianti, ma in questa scuola abbiamo ricevuto nozioni sia teoriche che pratiche che ci hanno permesso di “cavalcare” le onde. Davvero competenti gli istruttori, simpatici, pazienti e sempre disponibili. Stessa cosa per tutto lo staff, sembrava di stare a casa propria. Ottima la struttura, con la possibilità di scegliere tra diverse tipologie di pernottamento, bagni e cucina sempre puliti. Inoltre la vicinanza alla spiaggia permette di andare a surfare scalzi. Che dire… ritorneremo sicuramente molto volentieri!!!
