Wir waren zu zweit eine knappe Woche im Surfcamp. Sehr gut gefallen haben uns die flexiblen Reisemöglichkeiten, das großzügige Gelände mit der Lounge (obwohl hier ein bisschen Gartenpflege schön wäre) und die familiäre Atmosphäre. Der Surfunterricht war leider eher enttäuschend. Er war absolut nicht anfängergeeignet, wesentlich kürzer als die angegebenen 4 Stunden am Tag (eher 2-3) und leider war der Lerneffekt durch fehlenden Theorieunterricht geringer. Die Strände sind allerdings sehr schön und ebenso die Nähe zu Porto. Es war keine schlechte Zeit, aber ich würde nicht noch einmal in das Camp fahren, um Surfen zu lernen.

Estuve solo tres días y me lo pasé genial, aparte que los cursos de surf eran excelentes y cada día a una playa nueva. Fuera de los cursos, había mucha amistad con los monitores y entre los huéspedes; siempre había planes para ir a cenar, salir por Oporto, jugar al voley, etc. Espero repetir el próximo año.

I spent a week there and It was amazing. The teachers were looking for us during the week, wonderful people! I absolutely recomend it.

Everything is awesome! Almost... Well, at least everything they can influence. The camp is located close to the beach and there are already a couple of good surf spots you can easily reach by walking. The camp offers everything you need: - surf boards - wet suits - coaching - car transfers to the best surf spots around - great people (coaches included ;-) ) - nice breakfast to start your day perfectly - sweet rooms with comfy beds (you also get a towel for the time of your visit) - kitchens to cook - good vibes and last but not least - if the conditions allow it - very good surf! They keep all their stuff and facilities nice and clean and I would totally recommend going there! Also, they coach every kind of surfer - from beginner to expert: you can learn something and improve your surfing for sure!

I spent my surf holiday at Oporto Surf Camp recently and I’m happy about everything - I could run away from rush and enjoy surfing. Professional and creative team ensured good mood before, during and after the surf, found the best waves and even in days with too big waves (or no waves) can always figure out something great. Surfing has changed my life and nothing can erase the smile from my face when I come out of the ocean after caching some good waves. Just try it! :)
