What a wonderful cafe / restaurant ! Marcia is a really kind and lovely person and makes sure you are very welcome. She speaks perfect English so great for tourists too. My parents loved it despite being non - vegans. Would warmly recommend.

Low-key, comfortable setting with a small grocery and fresh meals. Enjoyed the chorizo, schnitzel, and olive pate. Talked about my friend publishing a book, people associating height and attractiveness with goodness (“he’s so nice, and tall too”), and reading pride and prejudice.

For a big tasty sandwich I paid 4.90€ here. I consider it to be a very affordable place but it's not very suitable for a big lunch or dinner. I would prefer going here for a late breakfast or a light lunch as it mainly focuses on toasts, sandwiches and salads which I have to admit look very delicious. The lady who was preparing food and serving it at the same time was super nice and friendly! I will definitely come back at least one more time soon!
I would suggest you to work on the organization because you got a lot of space but there are no separation between the shop and restaurant and it takes all the focus on the shop leaving a space with tables and bathroom quite tiny. Also it may need some improvements on a design, those A4 papers on the walls with information are distracting and not very pretty.

Primeira loja/lanchonete vegana do Porto, com uma diversidade imensa de produtos veganos, deliciosos sandes e tostas de se deliciar. Um ambiente muito agradável, calmo e com funcionárias muitíssimo simpaticas. Bom para ir com amigos ou em casal também.

Die Besitzerin hat mich sehr gut beraten. Nicht nur was die Speisekarte betrifft, sondern auch die Lebensmittel, die sie im angrenzenden Geschäftslokal verkauft. Während sie die Speisen frisch zubereitet hat, erklärte sie mir auch einige Rezepte. Alle Speisen sind vegan und nachdem alles frisch zubereitet wird, kann auch auf sonstige Allergien etc. eingegangen werden. Trotzdem musste ich nie sonderlich lange auf mein Essen warten.

A place for you to be Vegan and to enjoy tasty vegan sandwiches and snacks. Very friendly owner and waiter makes it a good place to visit. I would suggest to change the lighting and some deco as the space is lacking some warm feeling.

Olá Márcia, obrigado por se demonstrar tão interessada em satisfazer os clientes. Retribuo entao com a minha opiniao:
1. A exposição de produtos de higiene está desnecessariamente misturada com a zona de restaurante, o que não achei acolhedor.
2. Para além da pobre apresentação do menu, o mesmo descreve os produtos vegan por comparação a produtos não vegan, sem mencionar quais os verdadeiros produtos utilizados, e.g. tosta de queijo.
3. Desloquei me de propósito ao restaurante porque queria provar uma francesinha vegan. Esta não pode ser servida por ser muito trabalhosa.
4. A minha "bifana" veio impregnada de molho, que cobria o papel em que foi servida e o exterior do pão, o que é impróprio para uma refeição para comer à mão. O sabor da seitana foi no entanto bom. A sanduíche de queijo estava pouco tostada e não gostamos do sabor do salame de chocolate.
5. O atendimento e a simpatia foram excelentes.

Really tasteful food, but the service could be better if the woman wasn’t doing everything alone in there. Taking the customers orders, preparing the food, probably cleaning and still receiving the payments, including for the small, but good, grocery shop inside of the restaurant.

Lovely staff and really tasty, cheap vegan food. We’ve been there twice during our stay in Porto and had an excellent experience every time. Would really recommend that for a breakfast/lunch thing, the place has a large choice of vegan sandwiches, severs coffee as well as delicious fresh juices.

We have eaten a Vegana by Tenugal salad and it was really well served (I’d say three people could eat it). They have a small grocery store with a lot of vegan options. 100% vegan. Food was very fresh and delicious!

Excellent little place with so many natural vegan products and amazing food. Went for a quick lunch with a friend and were treated to a courteous, friendly, and professional service. Ordered the burger, a small soup and a glass of wine and was blown away! The burger was simply amazing, packed to the brim with delicious fresh ingredients. The soup was equally exquisite and very filling! All the flavours were carefully chosen and worked beautifully together. Love the fact that everything is made on the spot as it adds a warm, home-made feel to the meal. Very much enjoyed every aspect of the services and the owner could not have been more lovely! Very helpful in answering our questions and helping us choose the right items off the menu. She was extremely kind and polite, simply a delight! After finishing our meal, we decided to wonder around the very well stocked shop and buy some bits and bobs. Everything, from our meal to our personal purchases, were extremely well priced and very reasonable! The whole shop is very well decorated and space used smartly. Everything was spotless and extremely clean. We could not have asked for a better afternoon! Highly recommend!

My first vegan pastel de nata, and it was amazing! I also tried the vegan cheese and ham toast, it brought me right back to my childhood. The lady who runs the store/café was also super friendly, and the store is packed with amazing vegan treats (scrambled "eggs", chocolate, hair care and skin care, tortellinis, pancake mix, instant whipped cream etc). Highly recommend.

Paid 14,50€ for a Francesinha with fries plus a SuperBock, very reasonably priced. Loved this place because you can see that the food is made with love, which makes it unique.
Would definitely recommend a stop here. Just make sure you bring cash with you or a Portuguese card please :)

La famosa Francesinha vegana y una tienda llena de productos para llevar!
Pasen a probar la famosa Francesinha de Oporto. En su versión normal, tiene pan de molde, filete de carne, salchicha, mortadela, chorizo, quesos y salsa de francesinha (con papas fritas y huevo opcionales ‘para acompañar’).
Nosotros comimos la versión vegana y quedamos llenísimo, le hubiésemos puesto un par de verduritas. Dato importante, es considerado uno de los 10 mejores sandwich del mundo.
Come and try the famous Francesinha of Porto. In its normal version, it has sliced bread, beef steak, sausage, mortadella, sausage, cheese and francesinha sauce (with optional fries and egg ‘to accompany’).
We ate the vegan version and we were very full, we would have put a couple of vegetables. Important fact, it is considered one of the 10 best sandwich in the world.

This is a recommendation for everybody. Not a hip vegan place, but very homely and with personal service. The owner is a lovely lady that will take good care of you, and the food portions are generous. The included shop is also recommendable. 10/10 would visit again :)

A variety of entirely vegan options are on offer at this wonderful restaurant.
Greeted with a warm smile, the staff here made the experience that much better, fully attentive to the satisfaction of their patrons.
Meat lovers will likely be surprised at the amazing food here too, which rivals mainstream food chains (and comes out on top!). Loved it and would highly recommend!

Very limited choice of food, extremely basic and tasteless. Incredibly slow service...It took 55min to get a tea, soup and quiche, the second two being ready and needed heating (they have low electricity so takes ages). If you have nothing to do and are not hungry at all, you can test your patience there. Not recommended to people who actually want to eat as it is definitely the most impractical restaurant I have ever been to!

What a great find!! Super tasty vegan food-we went for dinner and came back for coffee the next morning. The coffee was amazing Because its also a small store, you can stock up on healthy food! We bought coffee beans, kombucha and some other snacks for the rest of our trip!

Bit slow - Took us 1.5 hours for just a sandwich, chips and a pre-made pie. Left pie as it tasted sour and old. Sandwich was big and delicious though. Very nice people and amazing vegan store. Just wasn't convinced about hygiene and unfortunately we were waiting too long.

This place is simply amazing!! The food is suuuuuuper good, the prices are extremely fair, and the woman who runs this place is a superwoman because she does everything (attending costumers, selling items from the store, cooking, etc.) at the same time. She is also so so so friendly and kind so that this place really deserves to be supported. Its a shop and restaurant at the same time, so while waiting for food you can go around and explore the amazing vegan products that are sold (really good once for prices cheaper than usual). So all in all, this place was an incredible experience for me and my friends.

Hier kann man nicht nur lecker essen, sondern auch in dem integrierten kleinen Laden stöbern und neue Produkte entdecken. Die Inhaberin liebt was sie tut und tut es mit Begeisterung und Liebe. Wir haben hier wahrscheinlich den besten veganen Käse probiert. Die Sandwiches sind sehr zu empfehlen. Bedient und bekocht wurden wir von einer sehr herzlichen Dame. Vielen Dank:)

Amazing place with lovely owner. The food is really tasty and the owner puts a lot of love in them, even though some combinations seem to be a bit weird in the first sight, everthing tasted excellent. Further on you can buy all the served ingridients in the shop that is connected to the cafe.

There is plenty of seating and a market in the back selling many vegan items. The prices seemed a bit high to me but there were items I’ve not really seen elsewhere.
I am not vegan but gluten free. My friend had a gluten free nata which was good but not as good as we have had in other places.
There is only two be person serving and cooking at least when we went so expect a wait.
Please note that I did not eat anything on this occasion so cannot comment on the food quality but there was a smell that both my children did not like.
I can’t say I would return but it seemed to be a haven for those vegans out there.

Mercearia e "snack bar" com opções 100% vegetarianas (vegan).
Ia a procura dos pastéis de nata vegetal na qual estavam indisponíveis. Acabei por provar um ravioli de legumes que é uma espécie de empada, uma fatia de bolo de chocolate e um café de cevada.

Comida vegana con todas las letras!
Muy buena la Hamburguesa de Espelta y las bebidas biológicas son también ricas.
Ambiente, personal amable, música... Un sitio tranquilo donde poder disfrutar de comida vegana o comprar productos BIO a un buen precio.

El sitio pasa desapercibido desde la calle ya que parece que solo es tienda, pero también hacen comidas y muy buenas. Recomendable la hamburguesa.

Enjoyable place. The owner is super polite and very friendly. To those who seek a Vegan way of life with a good variety of products at the best prices, or tho someone just curious to try something different and healthy, this is the place to go. You can buy products to take home or you can have some of the specialities, usually the daily cake is a good starting point.

I visited three days in a row while visiting Porto, the shop has lots of organic produce and a small but good range of other vegan products, I didn't have a meal here but the food I saw being served looked really good, I did get takeout to snack on while exploring gorgeous Porto, I had vegan quiche for the first time... it was amazing! tasty tofu empanadas and little corn breads with sautéed mushrooms inside which was one of the best vegan snacks I've ever eaten, all with very polite and friendly service, would really recommend for anybody wanting some tasty vegan food, will definitely be back next time I'm in Porto.

It was super yummy there. We had vegan cheese sandwiches, 3 different kinds, all super yummy. Afterwards we had a jackfruit dumpling and some cake. All was DELICIOUS. plus the owner is very very friendly and nice. I highly recommend the place :)

This place is just AMAZING!! The owner is a very sweet and polite woman that will make you feel at home. The vegan food she cooks is yummy and tasty, the portions are very big and generous for chip price!!
Moreover there is a vegan shop inside the restaurant where will find anything you need to make delicious vegan recipes! It Is perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and aperitives as 1 liter of BIO wine costs only 2,20€!

Marcia puts a lot of care and love into her shop and food. She is committed to make vegan food affordable and yummy.
The homemade warm quiche and the salad she made for me were really tasty and a great first meal for me just having arrived in Porto from Zurich!
Go there if you're vegan and also if you're not!

Found this wonderful little store/cafe by accident and wow I'm so glad I did. Had my breakfast there with some vegan cheese and ham toast(only €2.5!!), a nice coffee and some carrot cake. The owner is super friendly and is working really hard to archive her dream with this shop. Definitely recommend this!!
