Acolhimento 5 estrelas. Tive o prazer de ser recebido pela Mariana, que nos fez a visita à adega, onde existe 80 hectares de vinhas, com 14 castas diferentes. aqui a fermentação do vinho é feita de forma vegan, apenas existem 2 adegas em Portugal a fazê-lo, demora mais tempo, mas, não cria tantos sulfitos no vinho, o que evita a dor de cabeça no dia seguinte(confirma-se, acordei impecável). A comida estava super bem confecionada, e com requinte, num espaço amplo e fresco. depois fomos dar Um passeio de barco no alqueva. dia bem passado recomedo @ Vidigueira

A place not to mis! We have a very good experience with Ribafreixo. We like the wines, and the food in the restaurant is great! I can recommend this place to everyone. After reading one of the other recommondations i think this person must have been to an other place, because not one thing in this commend reflex to our great experience. The people are very kind, patient and are proud on their wines as they should be.

Truly some of the worst wines in the Alentejo, presented by those lacking knowledge, and with primary focus on profit making enterprise over true wine appreciation. The whites lacked flavor and seemed best drunk quickly in ice by those under legal age, and those unable to find better. The reds were unsophisticated and packed with sulfites. Perhaps mixed with some sort of juice it would be palatable, but I wouldn't know, that is not my sort of thing. Granted, at 3 to 5 euros per bottle, you shouldn't be expecting much, but the problem is the over sell on the web site, and by the staff. Fair warning, to go and sample 3 of the cheap, tongue damaging 4 euro wines will cost you 7.50 euros. Odd, I agree. The whole enterprise looks geared toward promoting an expensive attached restaurant, where they charge full bottle prices by the glass. The model is obvious and cannot last in the lovely Portuguese Alentejo. In business since 2007, during our visit there was not a soul in the building, hopefully the highway robbery of tourists soon receives its just desserts.
