I booked two 5-bedroom Villas (The Crest, Almancil, Portugal) on 3rd August 2019 for travel in June 2020. Deposit paid was about AU$1,500 - fully refundable. Canceled in March due to COVID. Repeatedly ask for a refund but they send me the same link to a form to provide a statement as proof of deposit paid. I have done this three times now. Today I got the message "Thank you for sending us the statement with your proof of charge. However, the payments team will not be able to move forward without a more recent statement. Do you have a more recently dated bank statement with the charge from the hotel? " How do they expect me to magic a more recent statement? Now - I'm not a gynaecologist, but.....you know the rest.

location is the only thing really not accessible without a car really. and being a runner no where to run.

On arriving we could hear the noise from the neighbours but werent too bothered as everyone has the right to enjoy themselves on holiday. Unfortunately the noise grew louder and louder as the evening went on and by 11pm the music was blasting out and the shouting began.With no one in the main office we managed to find a security guard and he did go and ask them to be quiet - this lasted for all of 10 minutes the music and noise continued. We couldnt find the security guard despite walking around the complex a number of times and had to endure the noise until 5am.Staff said there was nothing they could do and there were no thoer villas ready that we could be moved to so for a few days so we had no choice but to move out and find a local hotel for our second night.If you enjoy loud music and groups of lads partying and getting drunk then this is the place for you.

Fantastic location with all the facilities in the appartement and hollidayhomes. Looks new and we'll maintain. GREAT in the middle of the Algarve, 15 minutes drive from the sea, 20 minutes of the airport Faro. Where definitely coming back to this marvelous place..

The Crest it’s one of the best residence that I’ve ever been.The location it’s perfect close to everything and the apartment itself was amazing for me my wife and our friends. I definitely recommend the Crest to everybody that wants first class accommodation and service.

We asked the reception if they could accommodate early check in and late check out. While early check in was not possible we did get to check out at 2pm rather than 10am for free. We stayed for 7 days and housekeeping came to refresh our linen on day 5. We had read that this was meant to be every 3 days though apparently the do not clean on a Sunday which is why ours was delayed a day. Plain Warm bread is provided daily for free as well as daily dishwasher tablets and bathroom shower gel/shampoo and soap. Amenities are excellent, dishwasher, washing machine, iron, hairdryer and tumble dryer included. Tv includes many paid for uktv channels including all sky sports. One safe is provided in the master bedroom and includes a charging plug inside. Most rooms also have a couple of uk plugs as well as european ones.We had the 10 person villa and this included 4 bathrooms. Two of which were en suites on the top floor. The garage contains a table tennis table, ball and rackets. There is also a squash ball but no rackets.We had a private pool. The pool is not heated. There is a communal pool and jacuzzi behind main reception too, they are not heated either. Overall an excellent stay. 5/5!

The staff were friendly and sorted all our taxis and travel arrangements. The 3 bed villa was immaculate and had 3 bathrooms on each floor and each bathroom had bath packs including robes and towels. All rooms had quiet air conditioning. Freshly baked rolls were delivered every morning. The kitchen had every utensils including a coffee machine and a bottle opener. There was also a utility room with washing machine as well as a spacious garage. The pool was gorgeous. The balcony and the patio areas were fully kitted out with alfresco dining table and chairs. Fantastic getaway resort.

Impresionantes villas con piscina, y personal con máxima amabilidad.Villas de lujo muy limpias, nuevas y con todo el equipamiento que uno pueda imaginar.Incluyen limpieza diaria rn verano.La villa que alquilé tenía incluso habitación de juegos con un futbolín en el sótano.Amabilidad del personal y detalles como zumo, café,Agua, galletas, azúcar y hasta pan recién hecho diario entregado en cada villa.A 15 minutos en coche de la playa en una zona tranquila.Ideal para familias.Muy muy recomendable.Un diez.

The Crest is a delightful place and the villa we stayed in was amazing. The only disappointing thing about our stay was that we werent allowed to use the communal pool. We arrived early and the villa wasnt ready. We were categorically told we werent able to use the communal pool whilst we waited. We have four children so they were obviously disappointed and bored whilst we waited. And then on the day of check out, our flight wasnt until the evening. However once again we were told werent able to use the communal pool!? Weve stayed in a lot of places and this has never happened to us anywhere else!? It meant another long and boring day for our children waiting for our flight and not being allowed to use the communal pool. It was a real shame.

Oh my word this place is just amazing! Been there 3 years in a row, so peaceful and a beautiful place to stay. Villas are sheer luxury, and a lovely pool for the kids. Lovely staff to help you whenever needed, and they all speak excellent English. By far, this is our favourite place to stay in the Algarve.

Fabulous resort! Stayed here for one week with my husband and 2 year old son. The town house was well equipped With travel cot, high chair, all the kitchen utensils you need. The grounds are beautifully manicured. Very good security with gates to the resort, an evening security person and automatic shutters in the property. I was very pleasantly surprised with our booking and just wished we were staying longer! Carla at the ‘kids club’ was very kind to our son and very friendly. She was happy for him to join in with the games but of course I stayed with him as he was too young to be left. A great perk for anyone with older children as it’s right next to the pool so kids wouldn’t feel abandoned! You do need a car if you want to get shopping in it vudit the beach. We felt this was a great location for all amenities! Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

It’s like a vaca rental vs a hotel, townhome style, quiet, safe, and beautiful, close to the main attractions of Algarve area (sea cave, beach, Albufeira, Faro ...)

Clean, spacious and well appointed.Beautiful and quiet area, close enough to shopping and beaches in the Algarve. You will need a car as it is 15 to 20 minute drive to beaches and shopping.Note the housekeeping is done every 3 days and you need to provide your living goods. It is an apartment style, not a hotel, so towels are not refreshed every day, but there is a washer/dryer in the apartment.We really appreciated the benefits of the apartment style living. The full size kitchen, the living room, 2 bathrooms with shower. Our apartment came with a garage but we did not use it. The living space is on 3 floors with garage and laundry room in the basement, kitchen and living room on main floor and main bedroom upstairs with its bathroom ensuite. There were a total of 3 bedrooms in the apartment. One in the basement and one on the main floor. Both were not accessible as we had booked a one bedroom apartment. So the place is very big.We stayed in a townhouse duplex and similar to other reviewers, the last night we were there, we had neighbors in the adjoining duplex and we could hear them, so it not soundproof…

Very friendly service, comfortable accommodations. Address listed incorrectly on Expedia, however. We navigated to "The Crest" as it was marked in Google maps and that was correct.

Sehr schmutzig waren vor ca 1 Monat dort. Glücklicherweise nur einen Tag. Ausstattung bei diesem Preis gut jedoch mehr Schein als Sein und Sauberkeit ist nunmal ein Muss.. siehe Bilder... Achtung Kreditkarten Sicherheitsnummer wird abgefragt auf keinen Fall rausgeben!

Fantastic villa with everything you could possibly need on a self catering holiday. Beds are really comfy, spotlessly clean and very good quality linens which were changed frequently. Quiet location, secure and well placed as long as you have a car. Used a local taxi once which was reasonable too. Impressed the tv had English channels and all the sports channels you could want. Highly recommended for a relaxing holiday.

Amazing Houses within a gated community. Definately recommendable for families! Had an incredible 3 week holiday with our 8 month old Baby! High chair and Baby cot available.

Doppelhaushälften mit Garten, guter Kücheneinrichtung, komfortabler Ausstattung, sehr sauber und gepflegt.Einziges Manko ist die Hellhörigkeit zum Nachbarhaus.Ende Oktober war wenig Betrieb, so dass es auch am Pool ruhig war.Auto ist erforderlich - Selbstversorgung.Kommen gerne wieder

Very surprised at how modern the villa actually was, lovely position close to the shared pool. Grounds & Pool Area were immaculately kept.

Sehr gehoben dort und wirklich schön, auch die Ausstattung ist modern aber immer noch leicht klassisch.

The hotel itself is hardly a hotel more like a timeshare complex. Very nice villa and nice surroundings with shared pool. The reception staff are helpful but some of them are a bit miserable. The one chap calked Pedro was the most helpful. Accommodation not child friendly as Vila in a three levelled building with a bedroom on each level. The biggest grip we have is no bar and no restaurant! Also if you don't have a car you are stuffed!! I would sa if you are looking for a peaceful holiday and insure you are a car then then the crest may suit your needs.
