Attention ARNAQUE !!!
J'ai effectué une réservation d'une mercedes classe A.
Tout s'est bien passé sauf qu'au moment de la restitution, une rayure est apparu sur l'arrière du véhicule. Or je venais tout juste de laver le véhicule et il n'y avait aucune rayure.
Par conséquent, je soupçonne fortement la compagnie d’endommager les véhicules au moment de la restitution pour que l'on paie des frais supplémentaires. En effet, en tant qu'honnête client qui fait confiance, je suis resté à l'intérieur du magasin pendant qu'un employé analysait le véhicule qui était sur le parking extérieur. C'est donc à ce moment là que je le suspecte d'avoir rayé le véhicule.
Soyez très attentif et ne quittez pas le véhicule des yeux lors de la restitution, même quand l'employé vérifie l'état du retour de la location.
Pour info, je me suis renseigné et d'autres clients déplore la même situation !!! C'est vraiment lamentable mais rien d'étonnant quand on voit les prix qu'ils pratiquent ( 30€ pour 4 jours de location)

A car company is very poor, you have to be careful not to take a car from them, they just steal money from people. I paid for full insurance (and I asked about it all, the lady at reception said it covers everything) After I returned the car they saw a scratch (really small on the wheel) that I'm sure it was before! (Because I kept parking in the parking garage) .. They charged me 100 for it .. Just thieves did not take cars from them!
Uma empresa de automóveis é muito pobre, você tem que ter cuidado para não tirar um carro deles, eles só roubam dinheiro das pessoas. Eu paguei por seguro total (e eu perguntei sobre tudo, a senhora na recepção disse que cobre tudo) Depois que eu devolvi o carro eles viram um arranhão (realmente pequeno na roda) que eu estou seguro que era antes de! (Porque eu mantive o estacionamento na garagem) .. Eles me cobraram 100 por isso .. Só os ladrões não pegaram carros deles!

Please don’t be seduced by the nice car and decent prices. I booked through AutoEurope and arrived to a Mercedes elite class car that scuffed, dented and presented in such a rush as the staff clearly wanted me and my brother in and out as quick as possible...so much so that I wasn’t afforded the time to do a thorough inspection of the car but left it to my very capable brother.
All the obvious flaws were pointed out as he was whisked around the vehicle at 10pm as though they were keen to lock up and leave for the evening. That’s on me, I know.
Fair to say that when we returned the car I was charged £110 for a grease spot-like scuff on a hubcap and presented with a picture that showed it in pristine condition at some stage in the car’s life. I was not allowed to see the date of the photo and suspect that it was there beforehand as the wheels - or hubcaps - were not highlighted to my brother on a our trip that involved little more than driving to a golf course and back.
Also worth noting that, despite promised, we were not met at the airport but had to hunt for a contact number for the firm and left wandering the airport for help/advice.
Curiously, and without a mention, the man doing my post return inspection knew I had taken out full coverage insurance with my booking party which made me feel that I was always going to pay in one way or another.
I hope you have more success than I, but I will clearly not be using any referral to Rent A Star again...ever.

Leider war der Anfang etwas holprig. Wir haben den Wagen während unseres Aufenthaltes in Porto gebucht. Ich sollte den Wagen am Flughafen abholen. Leider hat Rent a Star kein Büro am Flughafen. Und bringt die Kunden mit einem Shuttle Service zum nahe gelegenen Standort ca. 2km vom Flughafen. Nach einer Stunde warten am Flughafen, bin ich mit der Metro eine Station zurück gefahren zu deren Standort.
Alles andere was die Abwicklung anbelangt war soweit ok.
Die Kaution von 1950 Euro ist dort Standart. Diese wird nach Abgabe rückerstattet bzw. storniert.
Der Wagen selber war innen sehr gepflegt.
Aussen hatte er einige kleine Kratzer und Beulen. Diese wurden vor Übergabe akribisch aufgenommen. Was ich gut fand.
Bei Rückgabe gab es dann diesbezüglich keine Probleme.
Der Wagen selber war ein Mercedes A180,
der sehr gut fuhr.
Der Preis für einen solchen Wagen für zwei Tage lag bei 45 Euro inkl. Versicherung und ohne Kilometerberechnung, was ich als sehr gut empfand.
Meine Empfehlung ist das man direkt zum Büro fährt, wenn man während des Aufenthaltes ein Auto bei Rent a Star bucht.

Dishonest business, do not rent here. Returned the car and was charged 592Eur for small pre-existent scratches. Values are over the roof because "all maintenance needs to be done at Mercedes". Guess who owns this rent a car business? Mercedes distributor C Santos.
They already know where to look for scratches left unnoticed during inspection. Refuse to pay? They will take all your 1.900eur deposit. It's a dodgy "legal" way of extortion - I have reported to the police.
By the way, I was given a car with an electric problem on the airbag.

45 minuten op de ophaal shuttle gewacht. Gebeld, vze zouden ons niet gevonden hebben? Ik heb constant op de ophaalplek gestaan. Prachtige ontvangsthal, echter personeel doet geen stap te veel. Ook bij wegbrengen was ik er om 7:50, kon ik wachten terwijl t personeel zat te duimendraaien en wachten tpr 08:10(want ze starten om 08:00. Schade aan ruit, ik heb zelf inderdaad de ruit niet gecontroleerd, maar deze is zeer waarschijnlijk tijdens mijn rit veroorzaakt, dat moet ik gehoord dan hebben. Mijn fout. Klein putje, nog een 5cent groot.... 600 euro.... Ik moeilijk doen, belachelijk bedrag(ja ik ben verzekerd)... Je raadt t al... Met de tijd die begon te dringen voor de terugvlucht toch akkoord gegeven. Ook aangegeven dat ik haast had om terug te gaan.... Maar de shuttle bus kon net niet op mij wachten, daarom Uber geboekt. Mensen... Doe het niet bij deze maatschappij. Overigens prachtige auto(en ontvangsthal) , daar wel van genoten

A lot of non clear and not informed rules that when you deliver the car are charged to you. Cleaning rate 15eur, deliver the car at 20.00h 45eur. I do not intend to rent again with rent a star.

Locadora agiu de má fé. Querem arrancar dinheiro a todo custo de quem aluga. Acabei de entregar um carro e por ter uma sujeira(veja bem, marca de sujeira agarrada na porta, que eu não tinha percebido) eles me quiseram cobrar 300 euros por isso. Não era arranhão, não era risco, era uma sujeira que sairia, me orefeci para limpar e deixar tudo certo e falaram que eu não podia sair dali para resolver isso. Inacreditável isso. O nome disso é extorsão. Fui obrigado a pagar 80 euros depois de muita conversa. Vocês são safados.

Lange Wartezeit (nahezu 1 Stunde) am Flughafen bis zur Abholung nach telefonischer Aufforderung!
Zusatz-Gebühr für Waschen in Höhe von 10 Euro! Wo sonst gibt es denn sowas?
Fragwürdige Schadensfeststellung in Höhe von 615 Euro durch Vermieter bei Rückgabe unterhalb des Schwellers auf der Beifahrerseite.
Träge und unfreundliche Abwicklung bei der Rückgabe!
Abzockerei pur!
Bei keiner anderen Autovermietung bei mehrfachen Portugalreisen hatten wir so etwas erleben müssen!
Nie mehr RENT A STAR - nie mehr MERCEDES!

Note : 0 pour le personnel, ok il y a une navette qui passe soit disant toutes les 15-20 minutes. après avoir attendu plus de 30 min je décide de passer un coup de fil, ok "ils arrivent" seulement après encore 20min d'attente.
Enfin bref, ça rigole entre eux dans la navette. Arrivé au Bureau, ça rigole encore, un petit stagiaire essayait tant bien que mal de travailler sous le regard de la responsable qui n'arretait pas de le "titiller" (lui faire des dessins au stylo sur les bras : n'importe quoi !!!)
On a passé plus de 45 minutes dans leurs locaux, ils nous ont pris 3 fois le permis pour le scanner et enfin la voiture.
note pour la voiture : 5
Rien à dire, propre, neuve. Juste un merci à la personne un peu plus agé qui nous a montré les petites astuces de la voiture, super compétente et super sympa
Alors je ne sais pas trop s'il faut les recommander ou pas, prix attractifs, dépot de garantie élevé, personnel nul...

O barato que sai caro! Gerente grosso e arrogante. Tivemos problema com o abastecimento do carro e eles cobraram um valor abusivo que NÃO estava vinculado ao contrato. Então, fiquem de olho, pois nunca se sabe o que pode acontecer e a empresa não é séria, pratica preços acima do mercado e que não constam no contrato e não é citado na hora do aluguel.

You end up paying additional fees and your rent will be much more expensive. Go to different renting agencies, since there are plenty. The opening times you find on the web-site or google are from 7-00:00, but in reality they can charge you up to 55€ fee, if you rent after 8pm. I picked this provided via check24.de. This web-site is comparing different agencies, so you make your choice accordingly to price/service. Only in the vaucher back pages, they state, that you might be charged the fee, so also not very certain and also actually against the law. If you provide the time of your arrival 22:30, so the total rental price have to include all charges, applicable to your case, everything else is a fraud. They would lose going to court, but nobody will go to court because of the amount, so this company is making profit with that. Also this is the only provider I ever had and I rent a lot, which let you know, at the moment, when you pick up the car, that you have to return it washed! If you don't do it, they will charge you 15€. It doesn't say anywhere though and the let you verbally know. They offer wash service for 10€ in the country, where you pay for carwash 5€. And most people a agreeing to this terms! All paperwork preparation takes long time and they make errors on the invoices. So be prepared to wait even longer, till the errors are corrected. I will never rent again at this place and I hope, that check24 will do something about such fraudulent companies and also claim the fee I paid back.

Atenção. Rent a Car Com Péssimo serviço, aluguei carro em Março com esta empresa, para levantar o carro estava apenas 1 pessoa antes de mim e demoraram 1h45m para me entregar a viatura pois estava uma pessoa no atendimento enquanto outra fazia entrevistas para emprego no balcão de atendimento, (MUITO BOM ficarmos a saber a vida das outras pessoas ali em publico), na altura de levantar a viatura chamei atenção da funcionária que uma jante tinha uns riscos, a mesma informou-me que não havia problemas pois não estava amachucada não era necessário anotar, claro que na entrega me obrigaram a pagar 123€ para limpar os ditos riscos. O atendimento com pessoas muito pouco profissionais inclusive há lá um sr, aparentemente responsável com atitudes grosseiras a roçar a falta de educação, Rent a Car a não utilizar minha opinião.

EMPRESA AGE DE MÁ FÉ !
Funcionários mal educados e grosseiros.
Alugam carro com vidro trincado e na entrega nos fazem pagar , alegando que se não foi colocado no papel de vistoria na entrega o problema é nosso!
Cobram arranhões que não existem e dizem que está tudo fotografado e não mostram as fotos .
Fui fazer entrega da viatura 1 dia antes e fui pega de surpresa com um valor absurdo de vidro e arranhões embaixo do carro!!!!
Disse que então iria entregar no dia seguinte para resolver sobre o pagamento de 650€ cobrados sem razão... o rapaz responsável da entrega começou a gritar e disse q eu não poderia mais levar o carro , pegou as chaves e saiu com o carro!
Enviaram para o meu cartão de crédito o valor de 650€
Possuem tabela de danos... arranhões, jantes, vidros ... um absurdo!
A polícia diz que há várias queixas contra eles.
NÃO RECOMENDO!

Nice cars, but be aware that they will take 1900€ on your credit card as a guarantee, and the refund takes about a week. Could easily put someone’s holiday at risk if you don’t have suffisant founds on your card. I have serious doubts about there honesty, they are basically trying to force you taking overpriced insurances, cleaning fees, etc... I won’t go back there.

The car was not clean and they charged €100 for micro scratch on the dim. I've attachec the photo with the "damage", could you find it? :) I am pretty sure it was there before, it is just not possible to find such a small scratch when you pick up the car in the garage without sun light.

I have just completed a 5 day rental of an A class Mercedes out and back Lisbon airport. The car was booked through flight Centre Auztralia. Upon return we were charged a 15 e cleaning charge plus 200 e for damages that were pre existing. Make sure to photograph every inch of the car beforehand! Never again ROBBER STAR! Staw away.

Atenção serviço de recolha e entrega muito demorado. Estive mais de 120 minutos para levantar a viatura, para entregar também demorou cerca de 40 minutos.
Para além do preço pago na net cobram mais 10€ pela pré-lavagem apesar de nos darem hipótese de sermos nós a fazer a limpeza mas caso entreguem a viatura com algum problema de limpeza, são mais 15€. Além disso é necessário uma franquia de 1950€.

These people are some pretentious ugly child of a next door Mercedes representative. The fleet is composed entirely of Mercedes and it's like entering a Nespresso shop with Mercedes and coffee to go. Half of the staff are rude, the other half friendly and professional. I got the wrong end of the stick.
After 15 years renting cars, I was told for the first time I would have to pay a cleaning fee if I didn't deliver the car mint clean. However, I was given a stinky Mercedes. The smell of cigarettes was so strong gave everyone who sat in it an allergy.
On deliver I was charged 492€ for a scratch. Literally a barely noticeable scratch. 492€ and clearly these people make more money of ripping you off with repairs than they do renting cars. And mind you, before renting with these people, they take photographs of every angle of the car and look for every tiny minor scratch. At 492€ a pop I am not surprised. A scratch like that can be fixed between 60 and 100 max!! I was also accused of damaging the front ( a 0.5 cm don't know what) but apparently it did show up in previous pictures.
In one sentence: rent at your own risk. Rent a car 12 euro . Pay p/scratch 492€ - And they will find each and everyone of them.

They are almost impeccable. They tell you that you can choose between return the car properly cleaned or pay 10€ as a cleaning fee... I chose to pay the fee, notwithstanding, the car that was handled to me contained traces of dust and dirt. It was not properly cleaned. Not that it was a mess, but I expected it to be as clean as they are polite and organized. It's a matter of perceived vs delivered product/service value. Nevertheless, it became my number 1 car rental company.

Alles gut gelaufen, von A bis Z, nur leider keine Schalter am Terminal, das wegen muss man Anrufen, so wird abgeholt in ca. 15 Minuten, also muss man Englisch oder halt Portugiesisch kann um zu erklären, beim Rückgabe muss auch um die 15 Minuten warte Zeit rechnen bis ins Terminal gebracht, das wegen nur 4 Sterne, ansonsten sehr nette Personal und reibungslos geklappt

I have used them a few places. The one time I had a car damaged by someone else I was refunded the money paid for the damages. Depending of the time of the year, you can get very good deals on Mercedes rentals. Worth a try!

After waiting 30min the free transfer at the airport I was charged with 50€ fine because they close at 20:00 and I arrived at 20:30 and they couldn’t take it out because the system is automatic. UNBELIEVABLE! Last time. This was the 3rd rent and last time I also had issue with the free transfer. I had to take a taxi at the end. JUST NOT!!!

Good and swift service. New cars (operates next to Mersedes showroom) and low rates. Only problem - 2000€ deposit, which they returned only after 5 weeks, but otherwise everything is just great.

We had a very pleasant rental experience. Called the phone number to arrange the - very speedy - shuttle service (pick-up close to Vodafone shop in Arrival hall). Office is only a few hundred meters from the airport (would be a 10min walk). Got the booked car in perfect condition (they have only Mercedes and only diesel) and drove off. Don’t forget to let them activate the toll device! Return was easy. We hand washed the car a bit with a water bottle (otherwise 10€ cleaning fee). After our experience I can only recommend the rental company. Side note: we had full insurance through our rental broker/agency. Nonetheless it is standard that the rental company requests a deposit.

A funcionária mais velha da recepção, foi mal educada, rude devia estar longe de uma recepção, para não falar na postura de "chefe". Faz conversa em frente aos clientes a dizer que está com sono e que acordou muito cedo. A quando da entrega do carro, mandou-me estacionar o carro dentro da garagem, como se eu fosse empregado dela, esquecendo-se que já lá estava outro carro. Não voltarei de certeza, pelo menos até uma restruturação.

Atrasaram 40 minutos para chegar no ponto de encontro. Na agência, levaram mais de uma hora para liberar o carro. Há apenas uma opção de seguro, que somente pode ser vendido se vc adquiri-lo por TRÊS DIAS - mesmo q vc alugue o carro por 1 dia (meu caso). Ou seja, tinha planejado gastar com o aluguel de um carro por um dia, por volta de 50 euros, toda a despesa saiu por aproximadamente 120 euros. Fujam de fazer negócio com esta empresa.

J'ai eu peur avec les commentaires. Je vais commencer par les choses à savoir, il fait avoir une carte bancaire et supporter les 2000€ de pire autorisation qui ne sont pas débités. Aussi le point de rdv, c'est devant le Vodafone à l'aéroport. L'attente fut longue. 40 minutes avant la prise en charge. A part ça c'est niquel, les prix étaient agressifs, ils inspectent pas spécialement la voiture, une rayure passera sans trop de soucis. Je suis donc satisfait.

I highly recommend this company. If you book through any of the pages where you can find car rentals and not through their page it is very cheap and the service is just perfect. We had a wonderful CLA shooting brake for two weeks in Portugal and it was very pleasant and comfortable. The employees are very nice and special kudos to guy with black hair and the beard - maybe his name was Andre but I’m not sure. He took us to the airport (22.10.2018 at 4pm). We will come back to Porto definitely again and will rent a car at this company. Please remember that you have to return the car fully tanked and cleaned :)

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE CROOKS AND VERY UNPLEASANT TO DEAL WITH!
Firstly, the Lisbon office is not at the airport and we were supposed to be picked up at the airport by a shuttle service. The shuttle driver did not meet us at the expected time, and the telephone number we were given for the rental company was not in operation. We were told by other rental companies at the car hire meeting point that Rentacar are consistently late. We were eventually picked up an hour late, once Auto Europe managed to make contact with Rentastar in Porto, using a different telephone number.
When we arrived at the office the staff were surly and unhelpful, and the process took one and half hours before we could drive away the car, thereby taking a total of 2 and half hours from the time we were due to pick up our car. The car we hired had various scratches and dents that were meant to have been recorded.
In the event, we only drove the car for 70 kms, driving to our destination and returning to the rental office 2 days later.
When we returned the car, the manager showed us a small mark on the spoiler that we are certain we did not cause, and insisted on charging us Euros 492 for this. We complained profusely but had to make this payment under duress, as the staff refused to unblock our credit card which had a deposit of Euros 1950, until the payment had been made. The manager also tried to charge us Euros 15 for washing the car, which I have never been charged by any other car hire company, but he agreed to forego this charge when he discovered the mark. We felt, and made this clear to the staff, that this company are racketeers, trying to exploit money out of its customers. From my subsequent research on the internet of other reviews it is clear that these unscrupulous practices are very common with this company.
I would really recommend you read the one star reviews before committing to this company.

Good modern cars but the service is not great, just takes just too long to collect or even drop of the car. Car rental nowadays has speed up the returns but this company still does everything has it was done 10 years ago.
Also employees are instructed to charge you for a cleaning fee of 10 or 15 euros which simply is incorrect as an industry practice.
Also beware of the deposit on your credit card: 1950 euros minimum. Not even other low cost brands like Goldcar charge this amount.

Rentastar is terrible company bordering on being a racket. I encountered the following :
- waiting for approx 1 hour for the car to be brought to the Rentastar office and have paperwork completed
- verbally informed that the petrol tank was 1/2 full and that the car should be returned with 1/2 tank of petrol. This I did, only to be informed at the drop off point that when picked up the car had 8/12ths of a tank (this was absolutely not true) and I returned the car with 7/12ths of a tank. The shortfall in petrol would cost me EUR 31.00, I disputed this to no avail. I drove the car to the nearest petrol station and EUR 5.00 was enough to add 1/8th of petrol. This was clearly a scam as other people were having the same discussion at the Rentastar office.
- after adding petrol, I was then informed that there would be a cleaning fee of EUR 15.00 which was not included in any agreement. I refused to pay this. The car was anyway not properly cleaned when I collected it in the morning of the same day that I returned the car.
I recommend that no one should rent a car from this company.

2 words: rip off! don't bother to rent here a car. Hidden fees, office outside of the airport terminal and incompetence service (most people at their front desk do not even speak English and were unfriendly). Phone number starteds in three contact does notn exist. On top, we were charged 15 EUR for cleaning even though we went to the car wash just before giving back the car. This is not how you treat customers.

Agence loin de ce qu'on pourrait attendre d'une agence qui loue ce genre de véhicules. Plus d'une heure à attendre la navette à l'aéroport malgré que l'on ai eu l'agence au téléphone par 2 fois. Ça c'est fini qu'on a marché 1.5km pour rejoindre l'agence. Ensuite il vous faudra vous acquitté d'une franchise de 1930€ pour retirer la voiture et cela même avec l'option de franchise remboursé. Ma carte ne passant pas pour un tel montant j'ai du prendre une assurance à 98€ pour 3 jours (29€ de location à l'origine) donc clairement un moyen de forcer à prendre ces services. Ensuite la voiture ayant sois disant le plein, l'aiguille à perdu un trait au bout de 4km... Et leurs explications pour tout ça sont complètement absurdes, ils nous prennent pour des pigeons !! Dernière fois pour moi avec cette agence même si la voiture était très bien. Mon père arrivé la veille à Porto à eu exactement les mêmes soucis donc clairement pas un cas isolé.

Excellent rent-a-car with amazing vehicles at reasonable prices. It is located in the vicinity of Oporto's airport and they provide you with a shutle bus service to pick you or bring you back to the airport if necessary. The instalations are very spacious and the staff are very efficient and professional. The cars are new and in superb conditions. Since it is a busy rent-a-car you will probably wait a bit longer for the delivery and the paper work to be ready, therefore be patient that at the end you shall be pleased with the vehicle atributed to you. I highly recommend this business.

Warning! Do not use this company and make sure that any third party, who you may of booked through, have not left you in their incompetent and dishonest hands. We arrived at Porto airport and were not met. The telephone number, by which, we were supposed to contact the hire company was non-operable. Only by the good grace of a kind security guard at Porto airport did we manage to make contact. We eventually arrived to collect our vehicle three hours after landing. We specifically ordered a small petrol driven car with a full tank of petrol. We were supposed to be grateful that such a car was not available. We were given a diesel consuming, monstrosity, which had barely enough fuel to reach the nearest petrol station. As a result of the delays caused by this pathetic excuse of a car rental company, we arrived late and missed a long-standing family celebration. We parked the car and only used it to return to the airport. We returned the car in-time, with more fuel than we were given, and completely in-tact. To cut the story short; the car was inspected by a very rude and unfriendly employee, who claimed that a very small scratch on the wheel arch had been caused by us. He claimed to have photographic evidence to prove this, but was either unwilling or unable to substantiate this. Even if, this miniscule scratch, had occurred, during or rental period, the penalty we were charged was massively excessive. If you want to ruin your holiday, use this company. If not; pay a bit more up-front and use a reputable car-rental company with a desk at the airport.

Quelle compagnie horrible sur toute la ligne. Tel que mentionné dans plusieurs autres revues, la navette est arrivée 40 minutes en retard à l'aéroport. La personne devant nous rencontrer, une fois sur place, n'a même pas chercher à entrer en contact avec nous mais continuait plutôt une interminable conversation au téléphone lorsqu'un contact visuel avec elle a été établit. Une fois dans leur locaux, 45 minutes d'attente afin d'accéder au kioske. Entre temps, nous avons pu constater que lorsque d'autres clients appelaient pour signaler que leur point de contact (navette) n'était pas à l'aéroport tel que convenu, la réceptionniste répondait que quelqu'un allait venir les chercher d'ici les prochaines 15 minutes, sauf que la même attente interminable était réservée aux prochains clients. De plus, la dame du service à la clientèle parlait à peine l'anglais et la communication était très difficile.

Péssimo atendimento. Muito lento. Não havia ninguém no ponto de encontro no aeroporto, tive que ligar e aguardar mais de 30min até chegar o shuttle. Chegamos ao stand e o serviço é demasiado lento. Ainda não conseguimos ser atendidos e as mesmas 3 pessoas que ja estavam no atendimento logo que chegamos estao até agora, mais de 1 hora depois. Espero conseguir sair daqui com um carro ainda hoje...

Certains commentaires m'ont franchement refroidi. J'ai malgré tout tenté l'aventure. 5 étoiles surtout pour le prix. 37€ pour une Mercedes pour 4 jours c'est imbattable. Nous n'avons eu aucun problème au moment de rendre la voiture. La navette pour l'aéroport pour nous ramener a été très rapide. Le seul petit bémol c'est peut-être le temps pour récupérer la voiture prévoyez au moins une bonne heure en fonction de la foule.

Expérience horrible !
Nous avions réservé sur internet car le prix est intéressant, arrivée sur place la navette est en retard et ils nous demandent 2000 euros de caution ce qui dépasse le plafond de la carte de bleu, la personne essaie de faire plein de prélèvements avec notre carte en gros elle bloque de l'argent, au final on ne peut pas partir avec la voiture et lorsque nous avons voulu louer ailleurs notre carte ne passait pas étant donné qu'elle avait quand même bloqué de l'argent ils nous ont bien mis dans la m...
A éviter je déconseille vraiment.
Il y a un autre loueur plus bas beaucoup plus abordable et arrangeant...

Not such a good experience. The pick-up at Lisbon airport was late by almost an hour, they showed up only after several calls by another car rental agency staff member. No apology for the delay. At the shop itself: rude and unorganized/untrained staff. Took forever to get the papers organized. There is an additional fee for cleaning: you either pay 10€ fee upfront or you wash the car yourself or you pay 15€ upon return. This policy is a completely ridiculous rip-off. The credit card deposit is rather high (about 3000€). The car, however, was a really nice Mercedes for only about 30€ for three days. Shuttle service back worked without any problems or additional fees.

On the return I was charged an extra cleaning fee that wasn't mentioned on the check in desk in Porto and one of the employees in Lisbon insulted me saying that I was not even considered a client because I didn't book through their own website. Will never use their service again.

CATASTROPHIQUE ! Très mauvaise communication pour venir nous récupérer à l'aéroport (nous avons attendu plus d'une heure la navette qui devait venir nous chercher "dans 5 minutes") Ensuite une attente interminable pour récupérer la voiture chez Rent a Star (remise des clés à 20h au lieu de 18h) 2h d'attente alors qu'il n'y avait qu'un client avant nous. Aucun geste commercial si ce n'est de rajouter 30 minutes de temps de location dont nous n'avions pas besoin... Nous demandons un petit geste de 15€ (prix de la location du GPS) réponse : "C'est pas possible, je peux rien faire moi, mon patron n'est pas là..." Et pour finir, on essaye de nous vendre une assurance en nous disant qu'effectivement on a pris une assurance avec Auto Europe (Site comparatif de location) mais qu'elle ne marchera pas car c'est pas l'assurance de Rent a Star ! Ba voyons ! Super l'argument qui joue sur la peur des clients pour faire un peu plus de profit! En Résumé, les voitures sont nickel (toutes neuves) mais le service est vraiment mauvais (et ne cherchez pas de personne souriante ou accueillante, y'en à pas).

Ich würde weniger als einen Stern geben wenn ich könnte. Absolute Abzocker. Ich werde nie wieder dort buchen!! Haufenweise extra Kosten, lange Wartezeiten, schlechter Service.
Ich habe über billigermietwagen.de gebucht und den Anbieter hauptsächlich wegen eines angeblich guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnisses gewählt. Dass man hier "Premium"-Fahrzeuge (hauptsächlich Mercedes) bekommt, war mir relativ egal.
Am Flughafen selbst hat niemand am Treffpunkt gewartet - nach einem Anruf mussten wir weitere 45 Minuten auf den Shuttle warten, der uns zum eigentlichen Vermieter in der Rua Reinaldo Ferreira brachte. Dort waren zwar 3-4 Angestellte anwesend, aber überhaupt adressiert wurden wir erst nach einer weiteren Stunde Wartezeit. Dann sagte man uns, dass die reservierte Fahrzeugklasse nicht verfügbar sei, und wir ein Upgrade bekämen. Grundsätzlich nicht schlecht, aber dafür wollte man eine derartig hohe Kaution blocken, dass meine Kreditkarte das nicht abdeckte. Also wurde uns angeboten, eine extra Gebühr zu zahlen, um die Kaution zu senken (da mir keine andere Wahl blieb, musste ich dem zustimmen). Dafür bot man mir wiederum an, dass ich damit ein extra Paket bekäme und das Fahrzeug statt der 24 Stunden sogar 3 Tage behalten könne. Mein Fehler an der Stelle war, dass ich mir dies nicht habe schriftlich bestätigen lassen.
Der eigentlich Abholprozess war dann auch unglaublich! Bis das Fahrzeug fertig war, dauerte es weitere 30 Minuten, da man den Vertrag angeblich erst fertig stellen konnte, wenn das Fahrzeug physisch da ist und das Kennzeichen notiert werden kann.
In weiteren 15 Minuten wurden dann sorgfältig auf einem Blanko-Dokument alle Macken penibel notiert (auch das ist ja nicht schlecht, aber man könnte meinen, dass solche Dokumente zu vorhandenen Fahrzeugen des Vermieters bereits vorlägen und bei der Rückgabe jeweils eventuell hinzugekommene Schäden notiert werden, auf die man den neuen Mieter nur noch aufmerksam macht. Das scheint nicht der Fall zu sein.) Schließlich wird man darauf hingewiesen, dass das Fahrzeug außen gereinigt zurückgegeben werden muss, und ansonsten 15€ fällig werden - auch das habe ich noch nie bei einem Autovermieter gesehen!! Man kann für 10€ diese Autowäsche aber hinzubuchen - ich fand es unglaublich!
Letzte Abzocke war dann, dass ich die angeblichen 3 Tage gar nicht ausgenutzt hatte, sondern das Fahrzeug nach exakt 25 Stunden zurückbrachte - da ich mir die 3 Tage jedoch wie gesagt nicht hatte schriftlich geben lassen, wurde ich auf die "verspätete" Rückgabe aufmerksam gemacht. 30 Minuten Toleranz würde man ja geben, aber mehr nicht, also durfte ich einen kompletten weiteren Tag nachträglich bezahlen.
In Summe war damit die Anmietung hinterher 5 mal so teuer, wie das was ich ursprünglich gebucht hatte.
Ich rate jedem von diesem Vermieter ab, man wartet ewig, wird mit wenig Service behandelt und Kulanz ist ein Fremdwort.
Definitiv nie wieder!!!

Very positive experience. Had a bit of difficulty finding out how the pick up system worked. After I called the pick up was there within 10 minutes. The car I reserved was sold out so we got a free upgrade. Very nice Mercedes AMG! Superb car and service was great as well. We had an early flight outside office hours. A Taxi was waiting for us when we came back to take us to the airport. Would surely recommend.

Schlimmeste Autovermietung die ich je erlebt habe! Nie, nie wieder Rent a Star!!!! Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr unfreundlich, dafür arbeiten bis zu fünf gleichzeitig hinter einem Tresen, man weiß nur nicht an was...Sie sprechen kaum bis gar kein Englisch, leidlich Französisch und auch Spanisch ist Fehlanzeige. Die Abholung am Flughafen dauerte eine Stunde, was in der Hauptsaison natürlich ok ist, aber man wurde am Telefon sehr rüde abgewürgt und danach weggedrückt, sodass wir unsicher waren, ob überhaupt jemand kommen würde. Die Abwicklung vor Ort, in einem sehr dubios wirkenden, schmuddeligen Büro in der Flughafengegend dauerte noch einmal zwei Stunden, obwohl vor uns nur ein einziger weiterer Kunde war. Die Mitarbeiter unterhalten sich vor den Wartenden schlecht über ihre Kunden auf Portugiesisch, das war mehr als eine bodenlose Frechheit!!! Alle anderen Kunden wirkten auch sehr verstört. Das Auto soll im schlimmsten Fall sogar gewaschen zurück gebracht werden, sonst gibt es einen Aufpreis. Wir hatten das zwar laut Anbieter im Preis mit drin, aber waren so unsicher, dass wir es am Ende doch noch gemacht haben. Die Wartezeiten und die Frechheiten dieses Unternehmens sollte im Urlaub wirklich niemand in Kauf nehmen müssen! Auch wenn der Preis stimmt und das Auto wirklich tadellos war rate ich ausdrücklich vor dieser Zweigstelle ab, denn als erste Begegnung in einem wundervollen Land, evtl. nach einem Langstreckenflug und mit Kindern ist das wohl das schlimmste was passieren kann!

This agency is a disaster : nobody was picking the phone when we arrived in the airport and we had to wait for almost 1 hour without any information. Some guy finally came to pick us up and we are still currently waiting for the car in the agency (since one hour...) and we don’t know how long it will take. We came for a 2 day rental and half of our day is already screwed. The staff is really impolite and incompetent. I never leave bad comments on companies but this one is clearly the worst I have ever been to. Avoid it.

Stay away from this company! Pick- up at the airport takes forever. Finally you arrive at a small shop where one (very slow working) person tries to serve all the people they carry over from the airport. Takes like 30min per person. Makes you wait for a car for at least 2-3 hours. Additionally they charge you fees for cleaning the car in the end.

Péssimo atendimento, minha reserva estava marcada para as 8 horas, havia somente 2 funcionarios da limpeza e tive de esperar 1 hora até a única atendente que poderia prosseguir com a reserva voltar do aeroporto e levantar o carro.

Absolut unfähige, hoffnungslos überforderte Mitarbeiter. Hatten meine gebuchten Mietwagen nicht da und haben keinen Handschlag getan um mir irgendwie zu helfen. Wollten mir auch nicht schriftlich bestätigen, dass Sie meine Wagenklasse nicht anbieten konnten was für eventuelle Geldrückforderungen bei Check24 wichtig gewesen wäre. Der absolute Tiefpunkt in Sachen Service und auch rein menschlich unter aller Sau. Die zwei Damen und auch der Chef sind so unglaublich inkompetent und lustlos. Never go there.

Definitely would not recommend! We rented a car from the store in Lisbon (Alvalade) and had to wait for 3 hours to pick up the car. There is an addiotional fee for cleaning, which is not mentioned in the contract. You can pay 10€ in advance or 15€ when you bring the car back and it is "dirty". The staff is not friendly and it just takes way too long to finally get the car!

Wir trafen um 23:30 mit Verspätung des Fluges in Porto Flughafen ein. Der Shuttleservice war nicht zu finden und ebenso wenig zu erreichen. Beim zehnten Versuch ging endlich jemand ran, um mir zu sagen, dass der Shuttle ganz wo anders hält als die übrigen Shuttle. Bei der Autovermietung angekommen wurden erst einmal unsere ganzen Personalien abgefragt und es wurden uns einige Dinge versucht anzudrehen. Es war mir neu, dass man einen Leihwagen komplett gewaschen und sauber zurück bringen muss. Auch hierfür gab es von der Autovermietung selbstverständlich einen kostenpflichtigen Service. Am Ende dann wurden wir nach unserer Kreditkarte gefragt. Diese hatten wir nicht dabei (einerseits in Deutschland vergessen- ja unsere eigene Schuld, andererseits nicht noch einmal erwähnt worden auf den Papieren von der Vermietung). Nun standen wir um Mitternacht dort, die wenig motivierte Angestellte wollte Feierabend machen und brach all unsere Versuche die Kaution bar zu zahlen, die Kreditkartennummer anzugeben etc. ab. Das Geld würden wir auch nicht wieder bekommen, da hätten wir schon 24 Stunden vorher stornieren müssen- man bedenke, wir wollten das Auto haben. Alles in allem waren wir ebenso Schuld wie die Vermietung, allerdings haben wir uns einen verständnisvolleren Service gewünscht, den wir zum Glück am nächsten Tag bei OK rent a car bekommen haben. Liebe Mitarbeiterin von Rent a Star, es gibt Autovermietungen bei denen man auch mit Girokarte zahlen kann (nur zur Info, weil Sie uns ja versicherten, dass wäre am gesamten Flughafen nicht möglich). Also wer wenig Service benötigt, bereit ist viel Schnick Schnack zu zahlen und sich dumm und dusselig am Flughafen zu suchen, der ist hier genau richtig bei Rent a Star.

Cuando devuelves el coche miran con lupa todo lo que tiene ( que dicen que no tenía antes ) después de pagar un seguro a todo riesgo de 129 euros y una fianza de 190 aún me cobraron por unas rascadas insignificante s en tres ruedas 150 euros por cada una diciendo que el seguro a todo riesgo no cubría las llantas, unos impresentables de mucho cuidado. No lo recomiendo en absoluto, estando discutiendo con ellos a tres personas más les pasó prácticamente lo mismo.fatal, aconsejo no contratar con ellos.

It had hidden extra fees for cleaning car - 10 euros, but it was still cheaper than in other companies. Booked a Smart. Expected MT, however got AT for free. The car was new and in great condition. Stuff checked all scratches and marked them. I did not face with any troubles on returning the car, everything was ok, but they definitely did inspection very scrupulously.
I can recommend that rent company.

Mas esta ... deve ser sem dúvida alguma a pior de todas as minhas experiências de aluguer de automóvel.
Iludem com preços acessiveis ... e comentem os mesmos erros de demais low-cost ... pois de facto o aluguer fica por mais do dobro do valor.
Do género enganar e fazerem-se de amadores no assunto.
Lamentavelmente ... jamais voltarei a usar serviços desta empresa de aluguer.
Pena que usem uma marca Automóvel tão prestigiada a nível mundial.

Wir hatten eine 2 Wochen alte A-Klasse. Diese hatte zwar nach 4 Tagen ein Defekt am Fahrwerk (unverschuldet), doch der Tausch des Fahrzeuges klappte wunderbar und schnell.
Die Abholung am Flughafen erfolgte nach kurzem Telefonat innerhalb von 10 Minuten. Auch der Transfer zurück klappte Problemlos. Die von vielen kritisierte Gebühr für die Reinigung kann ich nicht verstehen, diese ist zwar unüblich, doch waren die Fahrzeuge sehr sauber. Außerdem würde diese vorab klar und deutlich Kommuniziert und wir hätten das Fahrzeug auch selbst reinigen können, dann ohne extra Gebühr. Alles in allem ein guter Vermieter, gerne wieder.

Hidden fees. They open at 7am but to return the car before 8 you have to pay 45 euros! Even if you are there at 7:30, they charge cleaning fee, high age difference fee. If you see cheap offers online be careful it might cost you 3 times more at the end.

Fujam. Atendimento ruim e por fim de um aluguel de 4 dias por 50 euros cobraram mais 15 euros de taxa de limpeza pois choveu. O carro estava normal, como os últimos 18 carros que alugamos no Porto, mas que só aqui cobraram essa taxa de limpeza. Uma locadora que tenta se posicionar como luxo, mas que tem atendimento e procedimento de low cost.

Estão na “caça aos riscos” e “lavagens”! Cobram valores elevados na entrega de carros limpos. Inventam riscos! Cuidado! Lavei e aspirei o carro antes da entrega, mas entenderam que estava sujo! Tive que pagar! Tenho fotos de como levantei o carro e como o entreguei!

Das Auto war sehr gut, allerdings mussten wir erst am Flughafen telefonieren damit man uns abholt. Am Treffpunkt war niemand. Wir haben 10 Euro für die Reinigung des Wagens bezahlt bei Abholung, sowas ist mir noch nie in Rechnung gestellt worden bei einem Mietwagen. Sonst war alles sehr gut, Auto fast neu. Sehr gut organisiert, alles Bestens.

Mau,mau mau arrogantes aceitaram a reserva e no levantamento do carro não recebi o carro porque o cartão só tinha validade até ao fim do mês de setembro e a entrega já seria em outubro. Somos residentes na suiça e o cartão novo estava a 200 km na nossa residência na serra da estrela. Tive de pedir que me levassem o cartão ao porto logo estive 5 horas retido e com uma criança nem consideração tiveram. Na entrega tive mais de uma hora quase perdi o vôo primeiro não tinham sistema informático ok acontece,depois o cromo que foi controlar carro nunca mais aparecia fui ter com ele e disse demora muito tenho um vôo marcado, a resposta foi temos aqui um problema uma jante riscada não consigo ver nas fotos se foi assinalada,foi ver aos computadores acabou por dar os papéis como estava tudo bem. E eu já tinha discutido com ele como ia provar que fui eu. Depois para nos levarem ao aeroporto esperamos mais de 45 minutos. Conclusão muito mau. Só dou uma estrela porque não posso dar 3 a baixo de zero.

Muito ruim. O aluguel na época foi por um bom preço, mas ao devolver o veículo, me cobraram € 400, por um simples ponto branco na tinta preta do carro. Me senti vítima de um golpe, mas tive que pagar. Recomendo muito cuidado ao alugar um carro na Rent a star.

A l'arrivée le classique (raconté par beaucoup d'internautes victimes comme nous)
Ils nous demandent une caution trop élevée 1300€ dont le montant ne passe évidement pas par carte bancaire. Puis il nous propose leur assurance pour 144€ avec laquelle la caution descend par miracle à 170€.
Autre arnaque au retour, ils nous demandent 45€ pour qu'on puisse rendre le véhicule 15min avant la fin du contrat qui s'arrêtait à 8h00. Nous avons été contraints de payer pour ne pas louper l'avion !!!!

Reine Abzocke!! Als ehrlicher deutscher Arbeiter versucht man sich einmal im Urlaub einen Mietwagen zu reservieren und wird nach Strich und Faden abgezockt!
Meine Empörung stieg bereits bei der Abholung am Flughafen durch einen Shuttle Service exponentiell an. Nach einer Stunde Wartezeit und mehreren Anrufen war der Mitarbeiter endlich eingetroffen und hielt es nicht einmal für nötig sich zu entschuldigen. Bodenlose Frechheit. Anschließend wurden wir im Büro von einer sehr unfreundlichen Dame empfangen die kein Wort Englisch sprach und gestresst und verzweifelt uns in portugiesisch versuchte zu erklären, dass wir eine Zusatzversicherung abschließen müssten und willkürlich Beträge von der Kreditkarte abbuchte. Anschließend platze mir dann völlig der Kragen, als anstatt unserem bestellten Smart forfour ein Tundembike aus der Tiefgarage fuhr. Daraufhin wurde mir das ganze zu bunt und wir verließen den Laden, um alle Kräfte, für das Schreiben dieser Bewertung zu sammeln.

Die vielen negativen kommentare machten mir angst, dennoch hab ich ein Auto gemietet, und war meine beste autovermietungs erfahrung die ich je hatte. Sehr gepflegtes un schönes Auto einfach alle kratzer notieren und alles ist gut, die 10€ Waschgebühr sind vollig ok und dann muss man sich keine sorgen machen. Manche meckern hier auf hohem niveau, ich empfehle euch Rent a Star mit gutem gewissen

Bonne voiture. Par contre un très gros bémol sur la caution 1950€ débité sur votre compte, certes restitué quand on rend le véhicule mais quand même ce n'est pas précisé lors de la location sur le site. Alors que dans d'autres pays ou nous sommes allés il n'y a que l'empreinte de la carte comme caution. Bref si les gens n'ont pas l'argent sur leur compte......ils n'ont pas de voiture..... Bref si vous pouvez préféré un autre loueur.

Péssimo! Estou a me sentir enganado, alugamos um carro nessa empresa e tomamos todo o cuidado com o carro o lavei na noite anterior da entrega, para não pagar os absurdos 15 Euros da lavagem, e chequei todo ele e não havia nenhum dano estranho ao vistoriado na saída. no dia seguinte bem cedo fui abastecer e chequei novamente e não havia nenhum dano estranho. Além dos inúmeros moças arranhões e ralados já existentes.
Na hora de devolver o carro duas agentes vistoriaram o mesmo não possibilitando acompanhar de perto a vistoria de retorno, visto que cada uma ia para um lado, e derrepente apareceu um grande risco novo . Feito de baixo pra cima recentemente. Tenho fotos! Sendo que a vistoria de saída não durou nem 1 minuto com apenas uma agente. Já na de retorno uns 10 minutos com duas agentes analisando minuciosamente. Nos cobraram 492 Euros por esse arranhão provocado ao que tudo indica, acidentalmente ou intencionalmente pelas próprias agentes da locadora.
Estou pasmo, abismado e me sentindo muito mal com essa situação e nunca imaginei que nesse país maravilhoso fosse existir uma empresa que engana as pessoas dessa forma. Ainda mais vejo aqui nas avaliações turistas que precisam ir embora pro seu país de origem e provavelmente não levarão o caso a frente da justiça. Bassta ler são diversas avaliações com caso idêntico, e quase todas demais semelhantes de diversas partes do mundo.
A Administradora se restringiu a mostrar a cotação/tabela que atesta que esse tipo de dano é o valor cobrado, ou seja, inventado na hora. Fomos coagidos a assinar e pagar os 492 sob pena de debitar os 1300 Euros de caução.
As devidas providencias serão tomadas. Rent a Star Lisboa.

Aucun arrangement possible car la franchise de 1950€ ne passait pas avec la carte de monsieur nous avons donc décidé de donner ma carte mais le monsieur de l’agence a refusé. Il nous a fait une autre proposition mais à condition de payer 300€ + 230€ et + le prix indiqué via le site internet easyterra que je déconseille fortement car il ne réponde pas dès lors vous essayez de les joindre au téléphone. cette agence est une arnaque absolue. Et de même pour l’accueil La dame qui es venue nous chercher à l’aéroport ne ma jamais dis bonjour et jamais regardé. Froide et désagréable. Pour la première fois au Portugal l’accueil Était glacial. Passer votre chemin. Il y a des agences tout autour plus sérieuse et plus sympathique comme Europcar. Pour travailler chez Rental star il faut être un comédien.

Fuyez, ce ne sont que des incompétents prêts à tout pour vous arnaquez du début à la restitution.Tout d'abord hangar tout neuf avec des voitures neuves en apparence car ils ont tout miser sur de l'éclairage haut de gamme ou l'on ne voit que tout ce qui brille. Donc un conseil, les voitures se check dedans veuillez bien tout vérifier y compris la moindre rayure...
Sur une réservation pas chère et normale ( 1semaine sur autoescape Lol,) arrivé sur place, pour la caution impossible de me porter garant et pourtant je possède une visa MasterCard avec un plafond plus élevé de ce qu'ils me demandaient, il à fallut donc payé 70€ en plus pour rajouter un garant.
En restituant le véhicule, une rayure imaginaire, de la porte avant jusqu'au réservoir était visible, j'ai tout de suite demandé l'ancien contrat avec photo à l'appuie! bien-sûr le personnel revient bredouille en me disant que le personnel faisait mal son travail et me dit de signer et de repartir sinon j'étais bon pour laisser un très bon pourboire...
Conclusion je me suis juste fais arnaquer de 70€, méfiez vous de tout ce qui brille, ce ne sont que des voleurs pour moi.

I do not recommend it for two reasons. The first one is the additional fees for the contract. Indeed, my international credit car was not working for the caution. I checked on my online bank account and I was very low compared to the authorised limit payment. It was Saturday so not possible to call my bank. We did not have other choice than using the credit card from my partner meaning adding him in the contract for additional 70€. On Monday, I called my bank and I had the confirmation that it should have worked and asked me for official receipt to pay it for me. When we dropped off the car, I asked for it but they did not want, I let you imagine why...The second one is the minor scratches on the car they want we pay. The pick up is performed inside not allowing to check everything whereas the drop off is performed outside. I asked for some evidences from the previous contract showing they were already there, but they did not find just because they do not exist... So I did not pay for them.

Wir (68, 65 Jahre) haben vom 10.8.-24.8.19 in Lissabon ein Fahrzeug, DB A-Klasse, sehr günstig angemietet. Die Übernahme und Rückgabe des Fahrzeugs hat problemlos geklappt. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich.
Zusatzkosten - bis auf 10 Euro für die Fahrzeugreinigung - sind keine entstanden. Zu verbessern ist die Abholung am Flughafen. Der Abholort am Flughafen war nur schwer festzustellen. Rückruf war erforderlich.

Essa empresa não é seria.
Aluguei um carro no mês passado, o atendente me vendeu um serviço de via verde, perguntei como funcionava, o mesmo informou que era mais pratico pois tinha passagem livre e depois no retorno iria pagar os pedágios na rent a star. Chegando para entregar a viatura, falamos que gostaríamos de pagar o pedagio, a menina me disse que ainda não estava no sistema e demorava ate 1 mês para chegar. Na hora disse que não era isso que tinham nos informado.
Moral da Historia- Faz 1 mês e 1 dia que entreguei este veículo, até agora não sei qual valor acertar, informações desencontradas pelos funcionários da empresa.

Achtung !!!!!!
Ich kann dutzende Gründe aufzählen für eine schlechte Bewertung. Um es kurz zu fassen hier die zwei die uns am schlimmsten getroffen haben:
1.
Beim zurücksetzen des Fahrzeuges hat der zuständige Mitarbeiter nicht aufgepasst und ist mit VOLLGAS gegen mich gefahren !!!
2. ABZOCKE DURGH AUTOWÄSCHE
Bei Rückgabe des Fahrzeuges sollten 15 € gezahlt werden für eine Autowäsche. Das Auto war sauberer als deren Schuppen sowie alles andere vor Ort!!!
Schlussendlich mussten wir die 15 € nicht zahlen, da ich gedroht habe die örtliche Polizei anzurufen da mich der Fahrer beinahe krankenhausreif umgefahren hat!!
BITTE NEHMT ABSTAND
Falls jemand doch dort ein Auto mieten sollte, bitte immer genügend Abstand halten da sonst die Gefahr besteht verletzt zu werden durch nicht fähige Mitarbeiter.

ACHTUNG VERARSCHE & ABZOCKE!!!
ATTENTION - NEVER AGAIN!!!
Wir haben einen Mietwagen für eine Woche gesucht und sind auf Rent A Star durch den günstigen Preis aufmerksam geworden. Wie es aber immer so ist mit den günstigen Preisen, die versteckten Kosten kommen auf einmal überall her wie Unkraut aus dem Boden. Wir wurden nach Strich und Faden belogen betrogen und es wurde probiert uns abzuzocken.
1) Sehr lange Wartezeiten.
2) Wir wurden mehr oder weniger gedrängt ein Fahrzeugupgrade zu machen, da ein größeres Fahrzeug (CLA 200d) besser wäre.
3) Durch das Upgrade (+50€) sind wir von einem Benziner zu einem Diesel gewechselt. Der Preisunterschied zwischen Diesel und Benzin läge bei 35-40 pro Liter lt. dem Mitarbeiter und daher würde sich das Upgrade lohnen bei den anstehenden Kilometern. Dachten wir. Tatsächlich liegt er aber unter 20ct und damit war der geringe Verbrauch und die Einsparung gegenüber dem Preis vom Upgrade nicht im Ansatz rentabel. Noch bevor wir den Wagen hatten, ging es schon los.
4) Die Autos waren von außen in einem miserablen Zustand. Jede Seite, jede Türe hatte Kratzer und teilweise Beulen.
WICHTIG: Fotos, am besten Videos machen um nachher die 1000 Kratzer zu belegen und nicht eine teure Rechnung für vermeintliche Schäden zu erhalten (siehe andere Bewertungen).
5) Nach der Rückgabe des Fahrzeugs wurde es zusammen mit dem Mitarbeiter begutachtet. Soweit so gut. Nachdem man eine Runde gemeinsam sich das Fahrzeug angeschaut hat, wollte er aus der Halle rausfahren und den Rest alleine anschauen. Wir sollten schon mal zum Schalter gehen er würde kommen. Dubios? Definitiv! Abzockgefahr durch vermeintliche Kratzer? Auf jeden Fall!!! Einer aus der Gruppe ist dann Hinterher und wollte den Wagen weiter gemeinsam begutachten, nicht dass nachher uns vermeintliche Kratzer in Rechnung gestellt werden. Draußen wurde er dann durch Rücksichtsloses und unachtsames Verhalten des Mitarbeiters angefahren !!!! Er legte einfach den Rückwärts Gang ein und fuhr mit voller Kraft zurück. Diese Fahrweise auf einem Firmengelände grenzt schon fast an Fahrlässigkeit. Nur durch einen Sprung zur Seite konnte ein Frontalcrash verhindert werden. Nichts desto trotz wurde er leider angefahren. Große Reue seitens Rent a Star? Fehlanzeige! Der Fahrer des Autos sah das ganze nicht so dramatisch und zuckte nur mit den Achseln. Immerhin wurde nachher ein Beutel Eis angeboten. Das MINDESTE !!!
6) Zu guter letzt wurde dann auch noch aus dem Nichts 15€ für die Wäsche des Fahrzeugs verlangt, wovon bei Abholung keine Rede war. Es wurde explizit mehrmals von unserer Seite nach weiteren Kosten gefragt, die aber vom Mitarbeiter der Übergabe nicht erwähnt wurden, im Gegenteil es wurde uns versichert dass es keine weiteren geben wird. Wurde die Wäsche im Vertrag oder in der Kostenaufstellung des Vertrags aufgeführt? FEHLANZEIGE!! Stehen sie im Kleingedruckten? FEHLANZEIGE!!! Auch hier wieder: reinste Abzocke!
Nachdem wir die Kosten abgelehnt haben wurde ins gedroht die Kaution einzubehalten von der Kreditkarte. Das hat dem ganzen die Krönung aufgesetzt. So ein uneinsichtiges, rücksichtsloses, kundenunfreundliches und dreistes Verhalten haben wir bisher noch nie erlebt. Erst nachdem wir die Polizei rufen wollten ging auf einmal alles ganz schnell und man wollte uns nur noch loswerden.
NIE WIEDER !!! Ich kann mich vielen weiteren Bewertungen hier anschließen! Der reinste Drecksladen!!! Es wird mit günstigen Preisen geworden und mit dubiosen Machenschaften versucht den Preis nach oben zu schrauben
Lieber ein paar Euro mehr bezahlen bei seriösen, internationalen Unternehmen. Zumal man Schlussendlich nahezu den gleich Preis gezahlt hat.
Kurz gesagt: Das allerletzte und kein Stern wert !!! Rent a Schrott trifft es eher! Finger weg !!

Pas cher mais prêt à tout pour vous saigner lors de la restitution du véhicule.. Pensez à bien faire le tour du véhicule et à faire des photos de votre location sinon il vous la glisse sur la moindre rayure.. Sans compter les frais de nettoyage et le complément pour le boîtier lors du passage en autoroute .. Personnel qui en a rien à faire.. Du e traiter comme du bétail.. Il se la pete grave.. Je déconseille mis à part le tarif.. Et la relation client à revoir.. Boîte pour faire du cash par tout moyen et fonctionne du coup comme une usine..

ca mérite meme pas 1 étoile. On vous fait poirauter et ensuite le check de la voiture fait en 3 seconde, histoire que l'on regarde rien. et au retour, check qui dure 10 min et comme cela on vous facture des choses que vous n'avez pas abimé. résultat 600€ en plus des 350 et en plus des 168 payé car le plafond de la carte n'allait pas aux 2000 demandés. On voit comment ils font pour payer leur mercedes !! Une honte.

It's a pity I checked the reviews only after renting from this company. It seems that it is their policy to manipulate on this business. When I returned the car they found a "new" scratch on bamper. TOTALLY suspicious because it looks like the scratch was made with a key and was painted with white corrector! WOOOW. I assure it was not made by me.
So they charged 492 Eur. They refused to show the pictures of the car before I took it. Anyways, be carefull! On my side, I am even ready to go to court. Especially, when I see all these comments on losses from people:)

Beware of scam!!! Terrible and extremely slow service. Take pictures and check every inch of the car before you sign anything!! Got a Smart car, was able to identify a total of 15 scuffs and scratches (after 1h30 wait) but missed the tiniest scuff in one of the wheels. When I returned the car (after highway drive and being parked in a garage) first thing they did was check the wheel and point it out.... 110 euros for a scuff smaller than my pinky toe nail (you can get it buffed for $10 at a local bodyshop). A complete scam and easily explains the horrible reviews they have.

Deve ter sido a pior companhia de aluguer de automóveis no que diz respeito ao atendimento. Arrogantes, antipáticos e pura e simplesmente ignoram os clientes, Mesmo apresentando uma reclamação por email, nem se dignam a responder. No portal dizem "A Rent a Star é certificada pela Norma da Qualidade ISO 9001: 2015.são certificados com a norma ISO ", mas não dizem qual foi a empresa que os certificou, Muito estranho.

Honestamente e face às reviews estava um pouco apreensivo no entanto tudo correu bem.
Sim à franquia é alta mas é anunciado previamente, sim cobram 10€ antes pela limpeza e o carro não vem impecável, mas tirando isso não tive problemas de riscos ou danos inventados.
Tirei fotos ao carro todo antes de alugar e marquei todos os riscos, mossas e jantes no papel. No final foi dar a chave e já está. Como precaução tenho o seguro do cartão de crédito e ainda outro pela questorinsurance.
O CLA 180d é extremamente económico. Face a tudo vou voltar a usar.

J'ai loué pour 1 semaine une voiture Mercedes de CLA auprès Rent a Star et je souhaite partager mon expérience de cette location qui c'est très bien passé. Accueil , sérieux, pas d'attente a l'aéroport, compétence des salariés aucun forcing pour nous forcer a prendre des assurances inutiles et évidemment les voitures sont dans un état neuf . Merci encore une fois a tous les membres de cette succursale de Porto et évidemment j'ai hâte d'y retourner..

ESCROCS !! Ce sont des escrocs. Nous avons loué un Mercedes Sprinter. 1) - Très mauvais accueil. 2) - Ils ne proposent pas d'assurances. 3) - Ils vous demandent un dépôt de garantie de 1900€. En quand vous ramenez le véhicule : SUPRISE !!! Ils essayent de vous voler la caution en prétextant des dommages que vous auriez causé. Bien sûr en s'y mettant à deux autour du véhicule, et en ne vous regardant jamais dans les yeux. MALHONNETETE à l'état pur. Ce fut une énorme scandale sur place. Nous avons dû nous défendre avec véhémence face à ces VOLEURS. Si vous avez le choix, ne commandez jamais chez eux. Si vous n'avez pas le choix, filmez le véhcule que vous louez sous tous les angles et prenez vous-même les photos sous tous les angles possibles et inimaginables. Ne laissez rien passer. Et même comme ça, je pense qu'ils arriveront à trouver quelque chose à redire pour essayer de voler votre caution. C'est en réalité leur modèle d'affaire. Ils vous attrapent avec un bon prix. Et essayent ensuite de vous VOLER. En un mot : FUYEZ !!!!!

SCAM !!! Never rent a car or a truck with them. They offer NO insurance and they ask you 1900€ deposit !!!!! When you drive back the rental car to them, they create problems to steal your deposit !!!! My recommendation, go for know and serious companies like : Europcar, Avis, etc.... Let these small people where they are. They have definitely nothing to do in business !!!!

492 euros por um risco de literalmente 2 centímetros no pára-choques, sem que os preços máximos de reparação para cada painel estejam estipulados em lado nenhum no contrato, como faz por exemplo a Europcar. Preços abusivos e provavelmente ilegais. Não estou para me chatear, mas fica o aviso para os mais incautos. Observem atentamente todos os detalhes ao levantar a viatura e evitem esta extorsão.

É melhor ler nas entrelinhas do contrato que garante seguro total.. os carros são ótimos, mas nunca conseguimos entregar um carro lá para sair sem que pagar algo extra, mesmo que tenhamos pagado seguro total... Falta um sorriso no rosto daqueles atendentes.. se nada disso for problema para você, os carros Realmente são excelentes. Ah, e se for para esperar por um dos motoristas deles no aeroporto, você vai cansar! Eu e minha família ficamos um tempo muito grande à espera de alguém da empresa deles no aeroporto... Enfim, depois da ajuda de outra companhia, eles foram contactados e vieram nos pegar!

tolle Autos ( ca 20Tkm A Klasse mit fälliger Wartung) , teils lange Wartezeiten, shuttle vom und zum airport (Zeit einplanen)
Achtung Autowäsche selber machen vor Rückgabe extra Pauschale bezahlen... geht gar nicht (stand vor allem nirgendwo).
unkritsch bei Rückgabe (wahrscheinlich weil so viel los war.
Inakzeptable war das 2x die 1.950,- € auf meiner Kreditkarte geblockt wurden (aufpassen bei "Abbruch der Zahlung am Terminal..." , alle Belege aufbewahren)
würde ich wieder buchen? Ja. Andere sind auch nicht besser zu den lächerlich nidrigen Geiz ist geil Preisen...

Terrible terrible Terrible!!! Stay away unless you want to get ripped off by rude staff.
Firstly, the address for the agency on the voucher/confirmation they sent is wrong. I had made sure that I could go there directly instead of being picked up at shuttle. The auto Europe (booking agency) confirmed I could. However, I get there and they do not exist. The phone number on the confirmation is Not In Service.
After calls to auto Europe, they tell me that both address and number is wrong. They give me another address... So yet another taxi to get to the new location.
Employee very unapologetic and blamed auto Europe for the mistake. Tried to rush me out as she did not want to deal with this. She gave me their number and manager name so I could call.
Later when I call, number not in operation!!! Tried all numbers on the booking papers, even their emergency number in case of accident, NONE worked.
I got through to them via auto Europe (They connected me) but as soon as the girl heard me speak English, she simply hung up as she did not speak a word.
Upon return, they tried charging me €40 For returning the car after hours. €15 For car wash. €20 For shuttle service to/from airport (even though I had not used their shuttle). I told her that I will not pay for anything, and after arguing for 2-3 minutes, she just shakes her head and says rude things to me in Portuguese.
Again, Horrible!!!!!

La verdad que ni una estrella se merecen, es una empresa poco seria, porque al equivocarse en lugar de bloquear mi tarjeta por el periodo de tiempo que duraba el alquiler del vehículo, realizaron una compra con una supuesta acreditación que hasta dentro de 15 días no voy a poder corroborar en el resumen de cuenta. La solución debería haber sido reintegrarme el dinero en efectivo (Cash) el dia que devolvimos el vehículo (el supervisor me dijo que esta acción es ilegal). Me solicitaron 3 días para hacer efectivo esta solución (día de hoy) lo cual no se realizo, generándome una mora en mi cuenta bancaria porque hasta que llegue a mi País no voy a poder efectivizar la solución del problema.
Independientemente de lo sucedido estas personas no conocen el espiritu de una empresa de servicios en donde el cliente nunca puede salir perjudicado.
Hay muchas otras empresas, no recomiendo esta.

Nous avons loué une Mercedes C160 pendant 9 jours.
Nous sommes très satisfaits de Rent a Star.
Voiture dans un état impeccable.
Aucune mauvaise surprise dans la facturation.
Au depart, remise du véhicule et formalités effectuées en quelques minutes.
Au retour, restitution du véhicule en moins de 10 minutes.
Seul bémol, il a fallut 40 minutes la navette à notre arrivée à l'aéroport.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Pick up was delayed by 2 hours as they appeared to forget we were coming and required three phone calls to prompt. Hidden charges are occurred if you need to return the car before 8. Exceptionally grumpy and rude staff. Do not put yourself through the stress of this company. Avoid at all costs!!

Uma empresa nova no mundo dos alugueres, Como cliente regular e dos primeiros tenho acompanhado a evolução do funcionamento da empresa e dou os parabéns pelo esforço, compromisso, e empenho dos funcionários em melhorar a experiência de aluguer aos clientes.
Têm tido problemas?
Sim, o tempo de espera para levantar/devolver a viatura era terrível, mas tem melhorado de mês para mês, esperamos muito no aeroporto, sim, mas cada vez menos.
Mas, na minha opinião, têm viaturas excelentes, todas mercedes, instalações impecáveis, (foi criado outro balcão para acelerar as devoluções) vão-nos buscar/levar ao aeroporto numa carrinha brutal, (toda preta, vidros e tudo, é mesmo à Boss) e acima de tudo, pessoal muitíssimo simpático e que se vê que se empenham em tentar ultrapassar as dificuldades.

Ich verstehe die vielen negativen Kommentare hier nicht. Bei mir verlief die komplette Abwicklung hervorragend. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und vorkommend. Das Auto war tadellos und bei der Übergabe wurde überhaupt nicht penibel geguckt, wie die meisten hier behaupten. Der einzige Nachteil, wofür die Mitarbeiter aber vor Ort nichts können war, dass ich 45 Euro zahlen musste, weil das Auto morgens um 7 Uhr abgegeben wurde. Die Autovermietung öffnet jedoch erst um 8 Uhr. Laut Veranstalter öffnet sie um 7 Uhr, was nicht der Wahrheit entspricht . Selbst die Dame vor Ort hat direkt in der Zentrale angerufen und gebeten, die Öffnungszeiten schleunigst zu ändern. Also ich werde dort wieder buchen. Eine der freundlichsten und kompetentesten Autovermietungen, die ich kenne.

A EVITER !!!
Après avoir attendu 1 heures à l’aéroport tout en essayant d'appeler l'agence ( bien sur personne ne répond ), un employé de rent a star arrive sans s’excuser. Une fois arrivé à l'agence, nous avons encore attendus 1 heure avant de repartir enfin avec la voiture; qui été bien celle réserver mais dans un état déplorable (rayures, coups divers...).
Ajouter a cela une assurance tout risque à 200€ pour 7 jours qui à ma plus grande surprise ne couvre pas les crevaisons et les dégâts sur les jantes.
en conclusion un services médiocre, à éviter !!!!!!!

Negative: On paper they offer pick and drop off between 08-22. From 8 until 8:30 I have been waiting in the rain, at 08:30 dispatcher who came was not efficient to receive the car back so I have to wait more until someone who was able to receive the car.

J'ai eu très peur en lisant les avis à postériori etant sur place à attendre puis une seconde quand un couple était là depuis 9h et pas servi a mon arrivée à 11h
Un autre homme se plaignait et des gens surpris de devoir prendre une assurance tout risques pour leur vehicule car les portugais ne roulent pas bien.
Perso ma réservation faite la veille au soir arrivé sur place nou étions attendus par une Mercedes 7 places de luxe.
Apres une attente fe 36 min car il y avait du monde et un homme qui ralait.
Nous avons eu la voiture demandée classeA 180D automatique sans sur-prime ni surprise pour 85€ avec les 7€ de rachat de franchise par joir le tout pour 3j

Petite info : transférez votre assurance toit risque perso sur la location ca coûte rien de plus.

Vorsicht! Rent a Star verlangt 20 € extra Gebühr vor Ort! Außerdem wird bei der Rückgabe sehr pingelig kontrolliert. Jeder kleinste Kratzer wird bemängelt und in Rehnung gestellt. --> Abzocke!

Un peu lent dans le processus de récupération du véhicule et surtout lors de la prise en charge à l'aéroport attente de 30 minutes et plusieurs appels avant k la navette n'arrive. Le niveau de "Luxuary" n'est pas à la hauteur.
